I cannot express my appreciation to Dr Mann and her team at IRMS Old Bridge. The care and love I received through my challenging journey is incomparable. Dr Mann’s patience and professionalism gave me hope to reach my wildest dream. I felt so comfortable every time I had to go for blood work and ultrasounds. Her staff made my journey as comfortable as possible. Special thanks to Carly, Meghan and Denise for their extra loving care. I truly appreciate everything they had done for me. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is afraid to start this journey. I will forever be grateful. 💝

As a health care provider, I can say with some degree of certainty that this clinic is doing a great job. I read many of the reviews, and all of the lowest rated ones. Those are real concerns, and it seems the clinic has fixed those issues, I saw none of what was mentioned during my 8+ visits. What I did see, was a group of hard working women, most of whom need to arrive to work around 5:30am.The nurses and physicians were patient, and competent.I felt cared for and listened to.The patient portal was tricky, but if you spend 5 minutes getting familiar with the app or website, it’s not so bad. I was happy to have access to all my lab results, appointment times, and direct messaging, even if it meant needing to take an additional 2 minutes to figure out how to do it.It’s a big decision to choose a fertility clinic, and this one has some of the best equipment available, and physicians/nurses/lab techs who have done this work for decades.Highly suggested.

Natalie and her team at IRMS have been the saving grace that my family needed in a time where we felt all was lost. Through their care and support, our first attempt carried through their care. They are thorough, price, CAREFUL, and just as important, emotionally supportive to not only mom to be, but dad as well. They were a home away from home for us, and I am incredibly blessed to have them as teammates. Thank you Natalie and team!!!

Very lonesome process. You only see the doctor once or twice at the beginning. Then whatever doctor is on call for egg retrieval. Portal is horrible, but you get text messages when the nurse gives you instructions. 5 stars to the Monday to Friday ultrasound tech she is AMAZING, definitely comforted me when I needed to talk to someone. Phlebotomist were wonderful as well! Nurses just want to communicate via the portal, rarely call, which makes it more of a very lonesome process... felt very disconnected through the whole process.

I want to share my wonderful experience with Doctor Serena Chen, an IVF specialist in the Living Stone area. As a 44-year-old female patient struggling with infertility, I couldnt have asked for a more compassionate and knowledgeable doctor to guide me through this journey. From the moment I met Dr. Chen, I felt reassured and supported. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all of my questions, and explain every step of the IVF process in a way that was easy for me to understand. Her expertise in the field was evident, and I trusted her completely to help me achieve my dream of becoming a mother.Throughout my treatment, Dr. Chen was always accessible and responsive. Once you get the hang of the portal (it was definitely built in the late 90s/early 00s) and learn to ask clarifying questions if you aren’t sure about the next step, you’ll have a great experience at IRMS. The staff are lovely, the nurses are kind and compassionate, from the ultrasound techs to the phlebotomists, and Dr. Moustafa was an excellent, empathetic provider. Special shoutout to nurses Nataliya and Shanice for their support and excellent care, and the bubbly, warm morning monitoring ultrasound tech whose name I have embarrassingly forgotten.Everyone there cares about your experience, which you don’t find in every medical practice, so even when issues come up you’ll find they are helpful and interested in finding a solution. Communicate your needs and questions, they are very responsive!I plan to be back when it’s time to expand our family again.

Dr. Perlman and his team at IRMS are hands down the best. I can say this as a nurse myself, that the care that you receive when you are one of his patients is genuine and authentic. Not only does he have a wonderful bedside manner, he is extremely knowledgeable in his specialty. Dr. Perlman guided me in making the best decision about my fertility and my future, and made sure I understood every aspect, every step of the way on the journey to egg retrieval. One of my close associates and I were recommend to IRMS, where we came across a great, social, patient and highly recommended medical assistant name Tymisha who we didnt know worked at the fertility department for 18 years and she was extremely professional, thorough and confidential with each of our medical records. Another patient brought to my attention that they havent seen the same medical assistant in a while and thought she went to a different location. Last time I saw her, I asked her which doctor would she recommend and the feedback that was given I knew something wasnt right with how she was feeling. Then, the wonderful medical assistant spoke to me about how much she had been mistreated, bullied and belittled by her manager which was Mary Fran one of the Nursing Directors. I recently found out that the wonderful medical assistant was let go due to her speaking out regarding protocols not being done correctly, which is a health hazard and unsanitary . This is absolutely ridiculous and not acceptable in a professional/medical environment. Its hard to find good quality individuals in the medical environment. She will definitely be missed!

Biggest mistake I ever made. Communication is awful. Very hard to speak to your actual physician after the first appointment. They did an entire IUI cycle on me without realizing they never got a clearance letter from another physician that they said they needed. They sent medications to a pharmacy without explaining that I needed to go to a fertility specialty pharmacy. I constantly get letters from my insurance company that my doctor hasnt responded to their requests for information so my claims arent covered.Worst of all... now that Im switching to a different fertility center they still havent sent my records over. My new provider has been trying to get my records for weeks and IRMS is holding them hostage, and now my fertility cycle is delayed for another month. Absolutely unacceptable.

I thought a mostly female practice would be a good thing, it’s not. Dr. Garrisi decided to do a saline sonogram with me even though she stated she did not have the correct catheter or speculum for my body. I asked her to stop as I writhed in pain. She did not. I hurt for a full week afterwards. I was then transferred to Dr. Cekleniak, who I never met once in person. She did not bother to see me during any check ups nor my transfer. When speaking to her about potential tests to determine my miscarriage she was dismissive and even laughed at me when I suggested additional genetic testing on my embryos. Surprisingly, the nicest and kindest doctor there is the only male doctor, Dr.Perlman.

About a month ago I had met with the doctor and she was very professional and kind. Today I stopped into the office to pick something up and also to schedule some future tests to start our fertility process. There were two receptionist in this office, one of them (the African American woman) was very rude and seemed like she was annoyed that we were even there. Every question I asked, her facial expressions and responses were as though we were really bothering her. We were excited to be there and moving forward in our fertility process, however this bad attitude wound up bringing us down for the rest of the day. Maybe she was just having a bad day but having her as the first point of contact in this office was a very poor experience, and frustrating to deal with. I will have to return to this office, but knowing that someone with this negative energy and poor attitude will be handling my case really does not motivate me to return.

I have breast cancer. While my oncologist finalized my treatment plan, she recommended I consult with a fertility doctor in the event I needed chemotherapy. I consulted with Dr. Chen on a Thursday (zoom call). She said matter of fact I was going to have chemotherapy; something yet to be determined by my oncologist. She didn’t talk about the actual fertility process, just that IRMS helped to pass legislation mandating insurance companies add reproductive coverage for cancer patients. She said she would send videos explaining the fertility process and if I had more questions, she could answer them. She never actually discussed the process with me or made herself available to answer questions. Later that day, I received a call from a pharmacist about prescriptions for me. I hadn’t agreed to this process so I was confused why a pharmacist was calling me about medications. The following day I went into office for what I thought was a physical exam and blood work. While they did those things, I also met with a nurse. She also told me I would have chemotherapy (AGAIN something not decided by my oncologist at that point). She provide a print out of all the medications needed for the process and detailed instructions for administering the medication. She was actually the best part of this whole experience. I walked out of this meeting with medication and instructions to start the process MONDAY! IRMS pressured me to start the fertility process before it was deemed necessary or I was mentally/physically ready. Because IRMS rushed to begin the process, they didn’t get proper insurance approval for the medication. I almost had to pay thousands of dollars for medication that was covered by my insurance. They duplicated one prescription and forgot to write a prescription for a crucial medication. The mistake was not noticed until I needed to use the medication (on a Sunday when the pharmacy was closed). They say they are sensitive to their patients but, I literally saw them deny a cotton ball and bandaid to a patient. They treated me like just another number, complete with eye rolls and curt responses. The only time I ever saw Dr. Chen was on my first and last office visits. I had FOUR HIPAA violations in a two and a half week period. After the second violation I spoke with their director, Mary Fran. She assured me the receptionist and nurse would be spoken to. However, AFTER speaking to the director, the same violation occurred with another nurse and the receptionist made the SAME violation on my last appointment. I was so shaken by the last violation that I was doing everything I could not to cry in the office and had to be escorted out a back exit. They extracted 24 eggs. Of those eggs only 7 were frozen. When I asked why, Dr. Chen didn’t give an answer, but recommended a second round of egg harvesting. With FOUR HIPAA VIOLATIONS and countless other mistakes, I couldn’t believe she had the nerve to suggest I work with them again. I told her I was treated so poorly, if I had to choose between having a mastectomy or under go fertility again, I would have chosen the mastectomy. If I could give them zero stars, I would! IN NO WAY CAN I RECOMMEND ANYONE USE THEIR SERVICES!!!

As far as their medical attention, they are terrible back in February I had an Hsg done which they referred me to get done, I have had surgery done in November, and I suggested getting put on antibiotics prior to the hsg because of the recent surgery, they replied it was not necessary. A couple of days later I return back to Irms with an unbearable amount of pain that was confirmed was because of an infection related to The Hsg, I commented to nurse Mary this is why I wanted antiobiotics before hand, she replied well we’re doing it now with quite an attitude. I asked de Keegan for a doctors note just in case I was not feeling well she replied you don’t need to be out of work tomorrow you’ll be fine and I had to actually almost argue with her to get a doctors note, needless to say I was back in their office the next day because of the pain. This place is a scarring memory for me. I do not appreciate that every patient is being treated ‘ like another brick in the wall’. You are just put on standard protocol without being individualised. I understand reproductive medicine is not just numbers and statistics and chances happen in the unexpected way more often than not but compassionate care is non existent in this facility. I do not think they are up to date on the recent advances in the field of reproductive medicine. If you go on to their data in SART, you will feel positive but remember when it is you in question it’s ‘all or none’. Do not completely depend on their recommendation and judgement because they do not individualise you. Do your own reading.

If I could give IRMS 0 stars, its what my review would reflect. Two doctors and two rounds of IVF and both times they missed my ovulation. Then, they held hostage my claim with insurance so that I couldnt continue my treatment at RMA (which by the way is completely different experience. you actually feel like a human being at RMA). It wasnt until an executive supervisor at Aetna called IRMS and forced them to close the IVF pre-auth that they did that. I left 5 messages for the office manager and she has yet to call me back. Since July, non-stop. They treat people like a number and thats all that matters. To test my embroys they wanted close to 20k out of pocket, RMA im paying $2,500. Its insane, I wish I knew sooner. I saw Dr. Cekleniak and Dr. Hessler. I wasnt going to write a bad review, I was just going to part ways, but after them delaying my treatment at RMA on purpose, I felt the world deserved to know the truth. HORRIBLE, ethically and definitely incompetent at fertility. In response to the below:No, I actually haven’t. Aetna supervisors called your practice leaving a lengthy message on what you are supposed to do and what you we’re doing to me is unethical and my case was resolved. After, the manager cowardly emailed me after receiving my messages requesting a call asking me what time I wanted to call her. Pathetic.
