Really good Fertility Practice, my wife is Brazilian and was raised on many natural means to healing. This was a great background to be complemented by the team here and we believe they were a pillar of support on our way to pregnancy despite some complications we faced in our health

Dr Rafael Perez was successful in eliminating sciatica pain when other medications did not eliminate pain. The treatments were done at his office in Miami and was worth the trip from Broward county. Results were obtained in only three treatments.

I moved here from Los Angeles where i had a great acupuncture for over 10 years. Dr Perez is just as good or even better. My acupuncture in Los Angeles treated both front and back of my body during a session and Dr Perez is one of the few that does that as well. He doesnt rush you and will spend as much time with you as you need. His office also takes my insurance and Shannon his office manager is amazing at getting me reimbursed. I always feel better and more relaxed when i leave.

I have never experienced such a dramatically wonderful improvement in such little time than I did coming here. I came in with a neck sprain, unbearable back and shoulder pain, and difficulty moving my neck at all. After just one session, I felt like dancing out of there! The best acupuncture ever! I’ve seen multiple acupuncturists over 10+ years, in different states, and for different reasons (currently for pain relief) and no one compares to Dr. Rafael. He is attentive and thoughtful in his care- and really works towards accomplishing your individual goals with a game plan. The office is lovely, relaxing and welcoming, everything runs so smoothly. Amazing acupuncture work with immediate results - 1st session and back pain was almost non-existent.I have had acupuncture for lower back pain in my life several times and only with Dr. Rafael did the relief begin after the very first session. 5 more sessions later and I had graduated to full mobility with zero discomfort - back to normal.Having had prior experience with acupuncture, I was prepared for the 30 something needles in every session. Dr. Rafael will work with your comfort level on needles if you require fewer needles, but the more the faster the healing I think. My insurance covered most of the cost approx 70%.

As a medical professional, I wasn’t sure what to expect trying acupuncture. However, after many months without success to improve pain, mobility, strength with my knee after ACL surgery, someone recommended acupuncture to me. I came in nervous, but Doctor Rafael eased me with his knowledge, patience, and calm/friendly demeanor. I immediately noticed a difference after one treatment and was able to reduce my pain significantly. Doctor Rafael and Doctor Lisette are both very patient and skilled in treating patients with different styles/modalities. I had improvement with each one. I have been seeing Dr. Rafael for acupuncture weekly for about 16 weeks, and it is my favorite hour of the week. He is extremely nice, knowledgeable in his profession, and eager to help his patients achieve their goals. This clinic is AMAZING! Literally changed my entire health and wellness trajectory. Drs. Rafael and Lisette, and Shannon, are all are truly experts in what they do, but just as important, they are always attentive and easygoing - and make the entire experience totally worthwhile and beneficial. Dr Rafael is the most knowledgeable accupunturist I have ever met. He is skilled and amazing at his job. But that is not the best part, he is an amazing human being. This place is amazing! After going to numerous specialists with no results, I decided to give acupuncture a try. Dr. Rafael was able to fix my issues within a week, and resolve what several specialists couldnt figure out within 6 months. He is extremely patient, gentle and professional. I have been going to Living Room Accupuncture for a little over a year now. I’m totally addicted to my weekly sessions. I feel relaxed the minute I walk in. Dr Rafael adds different techniques like body talk and energy work, depending on what you need. Another unique thing about this practice is that they provide you with a notification button to let them know if you need any adjustment mid-session, or for when you’re ready to go. Excellent professional and wonderful human being. I went to see Dr. Perez for a shoulder pain and a contracted muscle on one leg. I had this leg pain for over two years. The results of the treatment have been amazing. My husband had an episode of Bells Palsy syndrome (half of his face was paralyze) two years ago and Dr Perez had him back to normal in less than a month. Dr. Rafael is amazing!! I never write reviews but he definitely deserves it. Shannon in the front office is also very sweet and accommodating. I developed Bells palsy after a really bad ear infection. I went in a few days after I noticed I could not move the right side of my face and immediately saw improvements. A few hours after my first session I could drink water without having to hold my lips closed, if you know you know. I was religious with my appts and after about 3 weeks I was almost back to normal. Dr. Rafael explains everything and is soo gentle. Definitely recommend. If i could leave more than 5 stars i would!!!

I had a great experience with Rafael, he is such a great professional and the sessions with him helped me a lot throughout my pregnancy. I got pain relief and was able to get some precious relaxation time during the hard last weeks of pregnancy. Delivery with very smooth and fast and i believe thats also thanks to the sessions.

Ive been going to Rafael for acupuncture for about 5 years now and he has helped me through so many health situations. He always takes his time to listen, asks good questions, and stays in communication during treatment to make sure Im feeling well. I always feel so much better walking out of his office, whether Ive come in for neck pain, a head cold, digestive issues, anxiety/mood, female health...the list goes on. And he has successfully treated so many of my friends as well. The herbs he offers are also affordable and very effective.Little details also make a big difference to me, and one thing that I love about his practice, which may seem silly, is that he uses a hand-held button pager system so that if at any point a needle feels uncomfortable, or I get chilly and need a blanket, or Im just ready to be done, I can just press the button and hes back within a minute. Again, it may seem like a small thing, but it makes a difference and demonstrates a high level of attentiveness and care.His office manager, Shannon, is also wonderful and so responsive and helpful. Just a truly great health care practice all around. They genuinely care and it shows in every detail.

Ive been seeing Dr. Raphael for a couple of weeks now. I went in for a shoulder pain/injury that happened while taking down some shutters. I had the pain for over 5 months.After the first session, the pain was reduced significantly! I followed Raphaels suggesting to continue seeing him at least once a week. After 3 sessions, my shoulder has recovered completely! I have so much more movement in my shoulder than Ive ever had before. Raphael is very knowledgable, patient, and teaches you so much throughout the whole process.I recommend them 10/10. Im going to be coming back at least once a month for generally healing and work.

I have only amazing things to say about this office! I have been having TMJ pain for years and wanted to try acupuncture to see if it could help. From the beginning, they helped me get the acupuncture covered by my insurance. This office is so incredibly organized thanks to Shannon, and every appointment starts exactly on time with no wait. I have had probably over 10 treatments now, and I have never had to sit in the waiting room.This was my first time trying acupuncture so I was nervous, but Dr. Rafael creates a very comfortable and reassuring environment! I originally went to Dr.Rafael Perez for a chronic skin condition. Along the way, he treated my neck and lower back pain issues as well as suggesting ways to correct my occupational posture to minimize future back pain. Check, Check and Check.Then I was rear-ended on I-95 and sustained injuries to my arm and hands, which I use for work as a hairstylist.Today I canceled my February appointment with an orthopedic hand specialist because I dont need it. My first visit was for a post-surgery bout of urge incontinence. I had lost nearly 20 pounds in 2 weeks, and he cured the condition the first visit. My latest sessions (December, 2021) were for what I thought was a hip problem, but he loosened taut muscles and gave me exercises to resolve the pangs of pain. Next year I look forward to some relaxation sessions. Excellent.

Dr. Rafael Perez is the best! I brought to him my 94 old teacher who was suffering from acute pain in her thighs and legs. She had spent two months packing up her entire apartment by herself to move to a senior community and had apparently hurt her sciatic nerve. Dr. Perez is UNREAL!!! I had SEVERE pain in my foreheads frontal muscles and in ONE visit he took it from a 10 to a ZERO!!! I keep touching my forehead every 5 minutes because I cant actually believe this happened! Another reason for my visit was sciatica nerve pain - after only ONE visit, the level of discomfort has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. I wish I could give this place 1,000 STARS!!! Awesome ! really works, i went in with sore & stiff back, walked out feeling great. I 1st went to Dr Rafael about 4 years ago & was really happy with results then ! I wish i had kept it up thru the years. I went to Living Room Acupuncture yesterday and had an acupuncture treatment done (as well as a Shiatsu massage) with Dr. Rafael Perez. My experience was amazing. I was under a lot of stress when I got there and I can honestly say that I left with a very different feeling. Doctor Perez performed the acupuncture treatment and it REALLY relaxed me. I felt no tension when I proceeded to continue with my day. I highly recommend Living Room Acupuncture (as well as Doctor Perez and his staff) for any of the services offered there.

I recommend Dr. Perez without reservation! He has basically cured me of two chronic conditions Ive dealt with for more than 20 years and spent thousands of dollars trying to treat. While physical and therapeutic massage therapy, along with chiropractic care and prescription medication would temporarily reduce my symptoms (neck pain due to stenosis and frequent nerve pain down both arms), none of these treatments EVER provided lasting relief.
