The staff were all very friendly, warm, empathetic. Mostly all young ladies and the US tech was very gentle. Doctor Applegate was very kind and compassionate too. He took the time to listen to me and reassure me when I had doubts. Honestly would recommend this clinic.

I was very appalled by the lack of privacy the patients get once in the paper gown.We’re told to remove our bottoms, then cover up with the paper gown and wait in the OPEN LOBBY AREA!! Where others can join you while you’re partially naked!! That’s insensitive and very inconsiderate!When I was called to the exam room, I was told to lay down. As I was about to do that , a random person bust through the door without knocking to grab something!!!! This is very unprofessional and uncomfortable! Where is the sense of privacy and safety for those who are not only going through an emotional time , but also those who have been through trauma before ?????Please make adjustments to this for patients

Honestly I was scared going scared of being judged . But no the lady’s in the front were supper nice and understanding and the process was fast and the doctor was supper chill and comforting and the place is very discreet as well. Good luck to all the women going through this.

Dr. Applegate was the kindest doctor Ive ever experienced. Very honest, sympathatic and solution-oriented. So happy I found this OBGYN office.

The service was really good, the staff is friendly and attentive and the place is very clean! Despite the fact that the clinic is always full and its not such a big space, they have all the things needed and their organizing system is very effective, everything moves quickly. It makes you feel that your time is also valued! I felt comfortable from the first moment. Thank you all for the amazing job, patience and professionalism! I recommend it 100%!

The front desk staff were nice and helpful. The problem comes when I get to the back. First appt the doctor tells you your options & everything is great. Second appt comes and thats where the issues come. The best option for me was the procedure & the way the nurses & specifically the Ultrasound tech made me feel is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. Youre feeling vulnerable & the way this nurse & tech were pressuring me into doing the pill instead of the procedure its like nothing I have felt before. First the nurse tells me that if I am going to do the procedure I am going to be AWAKE through the whole procedure (scare tactic) & I would feel EVERYTHING through the procedure. She then proceeds to bring the US tech to again pressure me into doing the pill. I had to tell these women not once but 4 TIMES that I did not want to do the pills. No one should feel the way I felt that day. The decision of coming here was not an easy one let alone being pressured into doing something youre not comfortable with. I hope this review is being read by someone that would train this women into doing a more professional job.

This is my first time ever leaving a review. This entire place deserves 100 stars. The receptionist with the red hair is sweet and helpful and always had a smile. The whole staff are the most friendliest people. I was shocked at how busy it was, but now I understand why. I had the same nurse throughout my appointments and procedure, her name was Denise. She helped me so much at keeping me calm and even making me laugh, she showed me much kindness and patience. The day of the procedure my nerves were thru the roof but everyone did such a good job at calming the environment. Dr Applegatee is super chill and also patient and answers all questions, no matter how dumb you think they are he gives much needed reassurance. It was also comforting to have to have 2 female nurses with the doctor during the procedure. The older lady doctor was also so sweet and reassuring. I can’t say enough great things. The whole team is amazing and solid. I wish I had everyone’s name because every single person deserves recognition! I will forever recommend this office to everyone. And thank you so much to the entire incredible team at Eve medical.

Full transparency, at first I did not like the place. my first impression was a red head in the front desk that needs an attitude adjustment. On top of this none of the staff spoke fluently which made communication hard to understand, and when you don’t understand what they’re saying they all get an attitude with you. This was my first impression. When I finally got called in for my ultrasound the girl was completely fluent in English which made the communication much better. I was a little emotional and she was patient with me and did not start the ultrasound until I talked through all my feelings and she answered all my questions, and the answers she didn’t know she assured me the doctor would. My experience with Dr. Applegate was the same. He was patient and explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions as promised by the ultrasound tech. Her and the Dr made the experience much more calm and less emotional for me. When I went in to do the surgical the ultrasound tech was there and explained that she would be doing an ultrasound while Dr. Applegate performed the surgical, there was also another sweet lady in the room who was also very nice I just didn’t understand her because of language barrier. During the procedure I was soothed and reminded to breathe and even heard the Dr say we were almost done which was also soothing to know that they were giving me their full attention even while performing surgery. The place is clean and even smells clean. I just wanted to put this out there for anyone that goes here, don’t get discouraged if at first your getting a bad vibe. The most important thing for me was the people in the room with me during my procedure and they went past my expectations.

The front desk lady was kind of rude when I first got there and it made me almost regret coming to this clinic but once I made it to the back the nurses that took my blood and my ultrasound were very nice and respectful. The doctor as well is very chill and nice. I also loved how they were able to treat me as soon as possible instead of making me wait like planned parenthood was going to. I would recommended this place to friends/family.

Very long wait time but everyone was so great. I was waiting over an hour because someone was out and there only was one nurse working. The waiting room was full and some people had to wait by the bathrooms to be honest and I was getting impatient and fustrated. When the nurse finally called me in to do my sonogram she apologized for the long wait and told me that she was working alone today because the other nurse was sick so I understood stuff happens. She took her time with me because I suffer very bad with anxiety and as woman these situations are very emotional. She talked with me and didn’t rush which I thought was very nice since the place was so full. When she finish sonogram I gave her a hug. Then they call me to see the dockter and he was also so nice and patient and didn’t rush me and answered my questions which were alot because of my nervous and anxiety. The girl at the front desk was also nice to me when I was making my appointment. When I left I felt so much calm and assured with my self. They really take the time to give you the best experience and I have so much greatfullness inside of me for them.

The place is clean, they provided good service. The price is the same as most of the clinics ( about $600). My major issue was the organization. They asked you to complete a lot of papers which can be done in advance if they were to send it to us. Only one of the ladies (young red hair)at the frontdesk was really annoying. She asked you why you are coming and made you repeat it 2-3 times louder and louder. We all come for the same thing, we all feel ashamed to do it, so I dont think its necessary. She always has a little smile when she does it. Also, for each appointment they make you wait 2-3 hours before to see somebody for 5 mins max.... Its too long....

I found this clinic searching the internet for a good place where I could have my procedure safely and in the least traumatic way possible because my previous experiences were very painful and I didnt want it to be like this this time. The reviews I found of Eve Medical were good and made me decide for her, and honestly, it was the best decision.I made the appointment online and received confirmation by email. Very easy and they had quick availability, something that was vital for me, because I could not delay to do the procedure. Im not from Miami so I got on a plane and left for my appointment which I was able to schedule for the next day I found them. At the front desk, all the girls were very friendly and attended me at the time my appointment had been scheduled. Although it is a busy clinic (at least the two days I was there) everything flows quickly and is well organized. The girl who did my blood and urine test was very sweet and attentive. They explain very well about everything they are doing to you and answered all my questions.I chose the surgical procedure, so I had my first day of consultation and the next day I returned to perform it. The first day I had my exams, ultrasound and the interview with the doctor. The doctor is very professional and he made me feel very comfortable. He answered all my questions and offered me all the options to make my procedure painless. The doctor told me: You will not feel or remember anything and so it was. Thank you very much to all. The Eve Medical team is great. I want to say thank you to all the girls: the ones at the front desk, the one in the laboratory, the one in the ultrasound who was also in my procedure, the girls who helped me before and after the procedure in the recovery room and especially the doctor: He did a wonderful job.

My experience at eve medical was great. The ladies at the front desk were nice and respectful , idk how they do this job, patients can be brutal. The lady with red hair could be a little nicer considering she chose this job but she wasn’t extremely rude. The main male doctor and his interns I believe ? Made me feel very welcome and didn’t judge me for coming in late af to my ultrasound appointment. I highly recommend - Amani.

I never leave reviews but this place left me compelled to want to share my story.I got pregnant at the worst time in my life as I’m sure many women can relate to.My first impression of the place was that it was very busy. The 1st person I came into contact with was the receptionist with red hair. She was nice, friendly and gave me some forms to fill out. She helped me in the areas of the paperwork where I had some questions.I had labs done by a very nice lady (she was also present during my procedure). Then I changed into a gown & waited in a waiting area with other women. I was called in by the nurse, she explained she was going to do a vaginal ultrasound which I got a little scared because I’ve never had one done.She took her time explaining how the ultrasound works and assured me I would feel no pain. It was completely painless, she was very gentle. She asked me if I had any questions for her and I asked about the pill and surgical procedure and she explained both procedures thoroughly.Once I was done she told me I could change and wait in the waiting room, someone would call me to see the doctor. I think she saw hesitation in my face because she told me I could wait in the other waitingroom if I felt more comfortable.After I was called to the doctors office. He was also very nice and knowledgeable answering every question thoroughly.I was told to fast atleast 8 hours prior. I never felt rushed or pressured. Everyone was so warm and welcoming.The day of the procedure I was nervous and emotional. The same girl who did my ultrasound in my 1st appt and the lady who did labs were in the room with me. The ultrasound girl put my IV and the lab lady put a monitor on my finger. They were both talking to me, making jokes, being super attentive, that lifted my spirits.They called the doctor in, that’s when I started feeling a little panicked. The doctor verified I had someone to drive me home and then put medicine in the IV. He told me I would feel sleepy and that the medicine works fast, and it did. I immediately felt the sensation of feeling a little dizzy and drowsy but at the same time calmer.I did not fall asleep because I think I’m just too much of an anxious person. The ultrasound girl told me she would be doing an ultrasound on my belly while the doctor did the procedure. I did feel some pressure and a little discomfort, but nothing like I thought it would be.The procedure felt like it was done so fast. When everything was done the 2 ladies that were in the room with me helped me into a wheelchair and I was told I would be taken to recovery. I don’t know if it was the medication, or a mix of nerves, but I started crying. I was taken into the recovery room and laid down on a recliner and they provided me with a blanket in case I got cold.A while later the ultrasound girl came to ask how I was feeling. I think she felt bad that I had been crying. I was still pretty upset, so she told me don’t worry, I’m going to bring you something that’s going to make you feel better. I don’t know if this is allowed and I hope I’m not getting anyone in trouble because that’s not the point of this review. When she came back she had a small plate with Oreos for me. I thought this was funny and so kind and again, my spirits were lifted.Its such a simple silly gesture but it really speaks volumes on how caring and compassionate this staff is. I can say without a doubt this is the best medical care I have ever had. I want to thank each and every person at this facility for making me feel like a person and not just another number. I recommend Eve of Kendall and my advice is don’t bother getting worked up over any of the negative reviews. I don’t think you will find this kind of care at any other abortion clinic.

The wait time is terrible. My wife is the only patient in there and she has not been seen yet. Her appointment was 11:45 and it’s now 12:36. The nurses just sitting around talking with each other instead of making things happen. This is ridiculous. They keep telling her 5 minutes 10 minutes. They are being very inconsiderate of time.

I wanted to update this review. So, I’m about 5 weeks pregnant and knew I couldn’t keep it at this stage of my life. Initially, I called what I thought was planned parenthood but ended up being a toll free clinic to help you find a place to go for help. Initially they sent me to this horrible place that the front desk lady spent an hour lecturing my partner and I about how dangerous abortions are and showing us all the tools they use. Then they did a abdominal ultrasound and told me the sac was empty and that I can’t abort unless it’s a viable pregnancy and I was told to come back in 2 weeks. The lady also told me that if the pill doesn’t work, it could get infected and you could die. This place was traumatizing.From there, I found eve medical. I knew I wanted to try the pill because I thought it would be easier aborting at home. This place was so professional, welcoming, and helpful. Every staff member was courteous, nice, and informative. The doctor was very professional and answered all of my questions.The only thing I wanted to point out was how differently people react to the pill. I was told it was going to be like a heavy period and not too painful and was given 800mg of Tylenol to take home. Unfortunately, for me, it was the most intense pain I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. I was literally having contractions that I could time and felt like I was in labor for about 2 hours. I ended up taking 1,000 mg of Tylenol and it didn’t really help. I know this is maybe not the most common experience but I wish I would have been warned that this happens to some people. Had I known this, I probably would have chosen the surgery. Granted I’m a small woman and tend to be pretty sensitive to medications as it is, so I don’t want to steer anyone away from the pill. I’m not sure what the laws are in Florida but with the amount of pain I was in, I felt like I really needed something a little stronger than Tylenol. I have a pretty high pain tolerance (as I imagine most women do) but I cannot even put into words the severity of my pain.All in all, I feel relieved that I chose Eve medical and I do highly recommend this clinic.

I made an appointment online and I got an email saying it was booked. The day before my appointment I decided to call to make sure my appointment was confirmed and if they needed any information from me prior to the appointment and lets start by the lady that answered the phone was the most rude person Ive come across at any doctors office Ive ever been to. First she sounded like she was outside running, I then proceeded to explain that I had booked an appointment but hadnt received a call to confirm and I just wanted to make sure my appointment was good to go and her response was well why would we call you. I said because youre a doctors office and everytime Ive been to any doctor I get some type of confirmation. Her response was well we dont do it that way, and we havent for 45 years, so if you dont like the way we do things you can go see another doctor somewhere else. I nicely asked her to please cancel my appointment and that I wouldnt be going there and her response was, no problem I would love to do that and I hope you find a better place whos been doing it for more than 45 years. Then she asked me for my name, I told her, and then when comfirming she was going to cancel my appointment called me someone elses name. (Maybe why you should be calling people for more information) SUPERRRRR unprofessional and I never even stepped foot inside the place. Im so glad I called. I NEVER write google reviews, but I was so taken back by how I was spoken to over the phone as if I was a piece of trash. For those who need a much better referral, go to Dr. Paul Norris which is where I went. night and day experience and they are a regular OB office also.If you are anyone reading this from the office, do not comment or reach out to me to take down this google review. I WILL NOT!! Train your staff on customer service especially when your dealing with mothers who dont have a clear head on what is going on and what they want to do.If I could leave 0 stars I would!

Lets start by saying I had a bad experience elsewhere and Im so glad I found this office. Taking in consideration the circumstances they made me feel comfortable from the moment I requested an appointment till the day I had the procedure. The dr is assuring and explains everything to you. The nurses are all sweethearts. Would recommend 100%.

The customer service isn’t the best. wasn’t satisfied at all. When i was getting my service done i was very emotional and all the women in the room were laughing and joking about irrelevant things and we’re pretty insensitive to the situation i was in. when i went for the second time for a follow up was sitting almost for 2 hours for them to have had my test results back the whole time and had just forgotten. if it wasn’t for me getting up and asking how much longer i probably would have had to wait even longer. overall wouldn’t recommend

I went in for the abortion pill & everyone was very sweet, helpful & they honestly really made me feel better about my decision & answered all my questions without being bothered. The place was clean & honestly I was very happy about my experience.Where I have a problem is that when I spoke to the doctor & he gave me the pill to take (at around 2pm), he informed me that I could insert the vaginal pills that same day at night before going to bed or the next morning. I trusted that the doctor would give me the best medical advice. That night at 11pm I inserted the vaginal pills & had horrible cramps & no bleeding. The next morning when I called, because the cramps continued & still no bleeding, I spoke to a very nice lady & informed her that I put the pills in that same night. She told me that I was supposed to wait atleast 24 hours before inserting the vaginal pills. I then noticed the paper they gave me that also said to wait atleast 24 hours after taking Mifeprex orally. I then checked on the Mifeprex website as well as the fda website & both state that I need to wait ATLEAST 24 hours after taking the oral Mifeprex before taking the other pills otherwise it is not as effective. Between 24-48 hours is what it states to be exact. The doctor is giving inaccurate information & bad medical advice & it is completely unacceptable. I couldve very easily waited the 24 hours if I had known it was the correct & most effective way. I read that when taken the CORRECT way, this method is about 98% effective. I had to go through the pain twice as I had to reinsert the vaginal pills due to the bad medical advice I received. I hope that I never have to go through this again, but I hope my review can atleast help another patient. Dont listen to the doctor & wait 24-48 hours. If you do that, you will be glad you chose this place as this is my only complaint.

I personally have not had an abortion but i have taken several friends and they were happy with the service and how the staff made them feel better. Eve is a clean and passed the 100% inspection by me bevsuse if it were not to my expectation i would have never recommended my friends to go and have their abortion and trust the doctor. The doctor was professional and likes to speak to the patients before the procedure and explains the process. The girls at the front desk, the nurse, the medical assistant, and the ultrasound tech were professional and made my friends feel better. Abortion is never an easy choice, there’s nothing happy about having an abortion no matter what the reason is. Well, I’ve been here 2 times, this Doctor is great and very professional. Also his assistants Alexa and the ultrasound tech . Everything is clean and well organized. This is the right place guys , this Doctor, Alexa and the ultrasound tech will make it easy for you. Except for 1 girl at the front desk that has a crappy attitude for example the (blonde one) I don’t even know her name but why should I? She likes to point with fingers like if she couldn’t just say things and always with the “I don’t care” attitude, LOL!!! If you don’t like your job just go somewhere else don’t make this place look bad. Besides that everything is perfect!!!

When I decided to go I was having a bad time deciding whether the place was safe or clean or afraid the things that could happen,turns out it was the best decision ever, staff is wonderful, caring, the place is comfortable and very clean, the doctor takes the time to explain all your doubts and follow up every step of the way. Sadly this was not my first rodeo but this was my first time going to this Clinic. I was super disappointed and I came out traumatized. This would be my third abortion. Im going to tell my story because I want women to be prepared for what theyre getting into when they come to this Clinic. Having experienced other clinics this was by far the worst. When I got there it look decent enough of course you have to sign a bunch of papers a ton of waivers so that they can save themselves. The women at the counter dont seem to actually care about you or how you feel. After waiting a little while I was called into a back waiting room and all I could do is hear these girls talking about other women. Being insensitive as it is, they put no thought into realizing that the women in that building are in an emotional state of mind. It is never easy to make a decision like this. After that they take your blood to check your iron levels and your blood type. The woman that did this for me spoke very lightly I can barely hear. After that they send you to another waiting room where you will sit in your gown naked from the waist down with other girls waiting for the same procedure. They give you some medications to take for nausea ibuprofen and things like that. Then they take you to another waiting room that you will be in before and after the procedure. This is where I was absolutely in shock. My two previous abortions I was under anesthesia so I was asleep during the time which made it more durable and less uncomfortable. When I asked about the anesthesia in this Clinic they told me that it was illegal to put someone under if they were not in a hospital I found that surprising considering this was my third time and Ive never heard that before but believing that they are professionals and know what theyre doing I went ahead with it. I got into the examination room waiting for the doctor. the lady set me up on an IV, she couldnt even find my vein I honestly dont even think she got my vein. The doctor came in and the assistant started to walk around she kept opening the door while my vagina was all out into the air super unprofessional didnt appreciate it. Then the doctor went ahead and gave me three shots of what they call an aesthetic supposably relieve pain and make you comfortable. as they shot me up it burned it didnt feel quite right. Then they went ahead with the procedure and I can feel everything the doctor was doing inside of me I was screaming and crying and it was super uncomfortable I only got through it because yes it is less than 3 minutes. My pain tolerance is pretty high. Afterwards they sent me back to the room where I started from in less than 5 minutes he told me to get dressed and that I can go they gave me ibuprofen to take home and told me to have a follow-up in 3 weeks... that was by far the worst experience Ive had to deal with. If I were going to recommended Clinic is surely would not be this one. I do recommend however Choice A in North Miami Beach yes its a drive but its well worth it because the people actually care about you and they will take very good care of you you will not be awake during the procedure if you choose not to be which will make you more comfortable whatever this Clinic is telling you has to be a lie. Think before you go here read the reviews on Yelp and any other sites you can find this Clinic is highly unprofessional and I will never ever go back. I was botched.

I was there in January and they were great. The look young but they were so well prepared and so professional that it surprised me the place didnt have better ratings on Google. I honestly recommend this place for such an uncomfortable procedure. They explain everything to you beforehand and make you feel at ease.

My wife made an appointment, they confirmed over the phone. On the appointment day, on the way to the Clinic we just called to double check and there said: your appointment is in 3 daysWe just Lost the day and my wife was hungry until 10:00 am.

I arrived at this clinic very scared and nervous, something that in the time I was there transformed into calm and confidence. The girl who does the analysis, the first question she asks you once she calls you is how do you feel? … Seriously, something that I value a lot, at a time like this … their treatment was very good, then the girl who does the ultrasounds is equally excellent and explains everything very well, and finally the doctor sees you, who even though he speaks English and I Spanish, the pregnant girl was there by my side translating for me jjj, she was super good and attentive, due to the short time I was pregnant they recommended the use of the pills, and honestly it has been the best, I barely had any discomfort, and the process was in a certain natural way, today I went to my check-up appointment and everything was in perfect condition, the pills worked, so I recommend them... the doctor prescribed me contraceptive pills that are good and low in hormones, without a doubt I would not want to go back to come here or be in the situation that I was in, but to all the girls who are at some point in their lives in the position that I was in, I recommend this clinic, eve medical center are the best

When a woman needs a place like this, she looks for the best place, and I can say that if it is not the best, it is among the best in all of Miami. Go through a time like this and find people who empathize with your pain. Take the pill route because it is less invasive on the body. Make no mistake, it was fast, the pain was minimal and there were no surprises because they guide you about everything that is going to happen. Very nice treatment and excellent attention. Dont hesitate to choose this place

I had the procedure done, I was calling because they have a nurse who assists you 24 hours a day in case of any discomfort and when he answered I told him what I felt after the procedure since I had tachycardia (I have never had tachycardia before thats why I was scared) ears clogged and palpitations in the earsHe just told me that the medication was no longer in my system that I wanted to go to my doctor.I feel that they do not give the instructions well since one does not know the effects and in case it is an emergency one can go to the hospital

I was really afraid because before I had to have an abortion in another clinic and it was quite painful. But this place omg it was worth driving so far they didnt make me expect anything! They were all super nice and even more so the ultrasound girl, everything was very clean and organized and best of all, the procedure only lasted 3 minutes, I didnt feel any kind of pain!
