Planned Parenthood - Golden Glades-Miami Health Center

My experience was very favorable. I’ve been twice. The first time was a Saturday so it was really busy but they still tried their best to be personable and helpful. I was a bit emotional and they made space for me. First visit I saw Dr. Cherise Felix and although I could tell she was busy, she still heard me out and was very gentle with a procedure that’s actually very terrifying. Second visit was a surgery and I saw Dr. Chelsea Daniels. She was incredible. Heard me out and explained things well. The team who worked that day was SO KIND TO ME! I wish I got everyone’s name but I was sedated. They even held my hand. We chatted and in the blink of an eye it was over. Yes, there is a wait time but I expected that. The pros outweighed the cons for me. The team is clearly well trained in sensitivity and I admire how they work hard but still don’t disregard the human element. Also this was half the price of my regular gyn. Thank you Planned Parenthood. I’ll come back to throw water at the protestors one day. 🙏🏿

Two times I scheduled for a ultrasound guided mirena removal and two times they cancelled the appointment! The second time with me actually going all the way to the office for my said appointment only to learn that they cancelled it because once again, they keep saying that they didn’t have an ultrasound tech on sight to do it…. Then why are you booking me for the appointment in the first place if you don’t have a tech available to do it?? This is the second time that I got the same excuse and this was after I drove all the way to the location. For crying out loud, guys have to do better.

Drove in 45 mins for a yearly visit as my insurance lapsed and I was under the impression that this was a community clinic. They sent me no estimate of charges before hand and so I wash shocked when they quoted me the same out of pocket costs the regular doctor charges! Save yourself the hassle and don’t donate to them thinking it’s a resource for all women bc it’s not.

Slow even when it’s not busy. Your appointment can be at 7am & they won’t see you until 8:30am and this is every time. It doesn’t make any sense then they have the nerve to play in the office. It didn’t look like there’s any manager running the establishment either. No structure, long wait times, unprofessional

I went to have a biopsy done. It was the worst experience of my life. I usually see a practitioner at another location and she told me that I had to go to this one to do the biopsy. I was hesitant as I already suffered medical trauma and only trusted her. She assured me that I wouldn’t have the same bad experience as I did with another doctor. When I arrived, it took more than 30 minutes to be taken back. I was there nearly 3 hours and was told the procedure should only be 10 minutes. It was very much like an assembly line. They were running women down a queue. It wasn’t very personable at all. The sedation I was promised wasn’t real. I remembered everything, was fully alert, and even felt some pain. After leaving I suffered a huge complication and was unable to get in contact with anyone at that location. I tried for hours before they closed to no avail. I ended up in the ER that night. Not a single promise or assurance that was made to me was kept. This place was supposed to give me peace of mind but instead inflicted more medical trauma on me.

Worst visit ever first time at this location . Appointment time was at 8am and have yet to be seen . Worst and poor customer service ever . Very unprofessional. Would definitely not recommend this location at all ❗️ I’ve been to another location and had way better service . Very Unacceptable

Been going to this location for the past couple of years, always a good experience. Most of the doctors and nurses I had visits with are extremely caring, helpful and understanding. The front desk staff are beyond exceptional, Wendy and Gina in particular, as they usually happen to be the ones at the front desk when I have my appointments. Very informative and always thoroughly communicating any changes that happen, either it be through phone calls or the web portal. Always do their best to resolve if theres any insurance or other visit/appointment related issues.A couple of times I was there the wait times were a bit long, I am guessing due to various complications with patients or other unexpected things, but everyone was really sincere and apologetic about the delays and always keeping their cool and staying professional so thats always appreciated.

Do not come to this location! They are extremely unprofessional. I came here once for my depo shot and the first time I had no issues. Second time around they called me 1hr prior to my appointment to let me know the provider had an emergency and my appointment had to be rescheduled. They rescheduled my appointment for 1 week after. The day of my appointment which was today 10/2/2021 at 12:10pm I show up at 12:00pm and the building is locked, there are no cars in the parking lot. I stand outside on the phone trying to get a hold of someone, 35 mins on hold and finally someone answers only to tell me that the office is closed and that she had no idea why the office had closed today. I got no text or call letting me know that the office was going to be closed. Why would they schedule me for an appointment today if the office was going to be closed? I drove all the way from Hialeah to Golden Glades with a newborn baby. This is just disrespectful on their part! Don’t waste your time.

Wendy did a splendid job checking me in and Tamara was a wonderful provider. No complaints!

Took my friend for a simple health visit and was really disappointed. We waited over an hour to be seen and in that time they took a urine sample which they threw out and didn’t tell us until 45 minutes later. When my friend was confused as to why they kept taking her back for a new sample (they hadn’t said they threw it out yet) they became annoyed and angry. Additionally, they asked me to physically leave the office and sit by the elevators to “make room for patients in the waiting room.” I have no problem with that concept but there were several seats open in the waiting room when this happened. Regardless of what you get done here, the doctor’s office can be nerve wracking. To show no empathy and treat the patient and their emotional support like they are an inconvenience is unacceptable. Choose another location if possible.

This is the best visit Ive ever went to ,they took good care of me everyone were so nice and friendly, they also made sure that you dont leave anything behind I felt very comfortable during my short visit. Thank you and keep that great spirit always .

I arrived at 3:42pm for my 3:40pm appointment. I drove almost one hour to this location, however, they wouldn’t take me in because I was “late” Horrible customer service, very unprofessional, never again.

I always come back here because they make me feel welcomed. I love how caring and kind the doctors are here. They are just the best all around. They have helped me feel comfortable with my body and being a women. The doctors here and staff are exceptional .

The staff was so kind, caring and welcoming…starting from the receptionsit. The instructions are just like they explain, easy and to the point. The nurses were also very attentive. I loved the attention received by Rose and Dr Fenix. Thankful for their care.

Im actually kind of shocked this place only has 3.4 stars on here. Ive never had a better experience going to a gyno. Every interaction I had from the moment I entered to the moment I left was fantastic. They all made me feel safe and listened to. My medical assistant, Ashley, was INCREDIBLE. They truly show how much they care about you, and more importantly, how much they love what they do. I am truly grateful for the people who work here and how accepting they are. I had recently gone to a gyno and paid 300 dollars for 2 minutes of interaction and for him to just push me out the door - meanwhile, here (for over half the cost!!!!!) both the medical assistant and nurse practitioner spent an ample amount of time with me. My NP sat down with me and listened to all my questions and concerns and answered each one. I never felt rushed throughout the process and I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Definitely recommend coming here!

When I say this was the best doctor experience I had.Doctor Grey, aka Greter Yero-Diaz was so kind, knowledgeable, and UNDERSTANDING.Sheesh also the staff from the nurses to front desk were so WELCOMING. I felt beyond comfortable.The office itself was very clean and organized. It had a nice - sanitized smell.I dove past other locations for this option, and I’m glad I did. I would do it again.Shout out to doc herself, Gary, Gina, and Jackie.This Planned Parenthood should be the BLUEPRINT. 11/10 Recommend

I scheduled an appointment in the morning to get my IUD removed and everything went smoothly. The girl in the front desk was very nice and the doctor with the woman that was shadowing her while removing my IUD were so kind! They really guided me and made me feel comfortable. Going back here for a Pap smear

Kirby Busca is an excellent nurse practitioner, and her assistant Joanna is wonderful, both of them are respectful, gentle and caring.I felt safe there. And got all the information and help I needed with birth control, vaccines and tests.Thank you so much!

My visit was pleasant. I arrived early and they were able to accommodate me. Rose was gentle with a nice bedside manner. Nayeema was informative and listened to all my concerns and not making me feel rushed. I will definitely return next yr.

Extremely professional, made me feel super comfortable and taken care of. Shoutout to dr. Samantha Deans and nurse Nomi (I hope i got this right). The visit was pain free, smooth and very humane. I initially walked in with quite a bit of anxiety and was nervous about the procedure but they made everything extremely pleasant (yes, a doctors visit can be pleasant) and literally held my hand every step of the way. A million thank you!

I showed up for my appointment (Wednesday, 6/16), but the office was closed. I called their mainline and was told to just wait and that the office is open, the operator said that “they just have covid restrictions”, that is why the door is locked. I thought it was odd that there were no other patients and the lights were off, but I decided to follow the directions and waited. After about 20 min of not seeing any signs of anybody present in the office I called the line again and was told that they have no notice of the office being closed today and that it should definitely be open. I tried to get my appointment rescheduled but, of course, they didnt have anything available until next month, so I was told to just try to do a walk-in on Saturday, 6/19 because this is their “testing” day. I came in today (Saturday) hoping to get seen today (taking into consideration that the office failed to let me know that they were closed on the day that I originally had my appointment scheduled BY THEM), but the lady at the front desk showed no empathy and sounded robotic, stating something like “yeah, we didnt have any provider that day, so we closed”. She did get me an earlier appointment (4 days from now) than what I was offered over the phone (min 3 more weeks from now), but this still didnt seem like a right customer service. I waited for my original appointment for two weeks, then between the driving to the office, waiting, calling the line, being told to wait more, calling again and trying to figure out whats going on, I spent at least two hours that I took off from work, all for nothing, and they still werent able to show any empathy and prioritize my new appointment. Failure all over, and a very disappointing experience.

My appointment was at 10:50am its now 1:00pm and I still havent been attended. This messed up my whole schedule. The receptionist said that they are under staffed and they had walk-ins that had to be taken care of first. So my question is why accept a walk-in knowing you have several people already scheduled at that specific time. For that I would have just walked in and not made any appointment weeks in advance. The point is not to waste time. Time is money and I dont have the time to be sitting around in the waiting room. Ive read other reviews that say the same as me. That they have been waiting for hours and they are understaffed. Stop accepting so many appointments and hire more people. This is unacceptable. Saying sorry is not going to make me feel any better.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Dr. Deans, her medical assistant, and every staff member I encountered was absolutely wonderful. They took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and are seriously the kindest of all medical facilities. I do not have health insurance and they really worked with me financially and helped me more than I can ever express. Thank you so, so much!

I want to say that the people at this clinic are absolutely WONDERFUL. They make me feel so safe, so at home. I’ve never felt more comfortable. However, Both times I’ve gone, I saw the two same receptionist. The elder one looks like a sweetheart, the younger one is extremely superficial & inconsiderate. As much as I adore this location, I will not be returning because I ran into an issue with the younger receptionist. I do not wish to encounter her again so I will be changing locations.

I was helped mostly by Nicole and Dr.Sultana they were so kind and caring throughout my appointment. Nicole was genuinely nice and funny and that really helped ease my experience because she knew I was nervous. Couldn’t ask for better treatment, the office is also clean and no wait time at all.

Do NOT go to this place! My girlfriend and I are having a terrible experience dealing with them. They delayed our initial appointment by two weeks. Putting her at health risk in a very time-sensitive situation. Simply Absurd! You would think they are there to help and assist women in need and deliver what paid for. Something needs to be done about this.

My appointment was at 1:45pm for a routine prescription refill. I arrived at 12:40pm because I was unfamiliar with the area but I didnt mind the wait. Well even though I signed in before my appointment time, 1:45 came and went. I wasnt called til 2:57! I see if I was there to see the Dr then I would expect a wait but for a routine depo shot no way, the shot itself only takes 5min. At Pembroke Pines Im always in and out with my appointment but theyre not open on Saturdays anymore 😑. This facility is very clean, staff is courteous and always professional but something has to be done about the wait times. Maybe theyre scheduling people appointments to close together.

Everyone was super nice and made me laugh wich helped me calm down a bit thank you so much to Betty, Iliana, and Chelsea. They we’re super lovely and helpful.

Was seen by Dr. Zia who was very patient and gentle. Took her time to explain and listen to my health needs.The front desk and medical assistants were very friendly. Overall, all the process went smooth and very reasonable prices for services provided . 100% recommend this clinic!

This is the worst planned parent hood this doctor Stephanie put me at risk for pregnancy multiplier times for failing to renew my birth control script. I missed three pills due to her she hung on me the front desk is rude hang up and it says the close at 7 there were close today at 3pm save you time the providers here do not care about your well being corporate needs to do something about this location

Your website says you take insurance I even called in to confirm they said they took my insurance and when I arrived to my appointment the clerk said our dr only takes united which was such a inconvenience for me. It’s already hard enough to get an appointment.

The girls in the reception are extremely rude. They think they’re in the military with their attitude & make the women that go there feel terrible. That has to change if people wanna still believe in “planned parenthood”.

I got stuck and traffic. Their phone line was busy so I couldnt call and they refused to work with me even though I was only 15 minutes late. Their hold time was over an hour. I drove all the way from fort Lauderdale and they showed no compassion or understanding.

I’ve been here a few times. The wait times are very long regardless of the appointment scheduled. The last time I had an appointment I was waiting for a month for it to only arrive for them to tell me that the doctor working that day doesn’t accept my insurance. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. What a waste of time!

Waited over 2 hours after our scheduled appointment. No explanation why or how long it would end up being. I understand having an emergency but people have places to be and that is just super unprofessional. Very disappointing in a big time of need for me and my girlfriend.

The assistants were very nice and the front desk. The doctor who I saw barely spoke English and she wasn’t compassionate with my situation and got annoyed with me whenever I wanted an understanding with what was happening in my body.

Joanna was very nice and informative. She answered all of my questions . I will def be coming again :)

Our appointment was at 9:45 am its 5:15pm and we are still here i hope everything went smooth the only reason im giving 3 stars is because the staff was very pleasant but we didnt get seen u til 4 pm thats 7hrs later then our appointment terrible timing here

Do not use this location. Clearly could see a bloody strainer in the room connected to the OR which was disorganized and not clean. No one had bed side manner other then one sonographer tech and one nurse. No surprise the other locations are booked first.

Waited 3 hours to be seen by the nurse practitioner without anyone giving an update on the delay. When I asked they explained they only have 2 rooms to see patients yet the waiting room was full of patients waiting.

Bad service, I’m arrived for my appointment 10 min earlier to be taken on time , because I need come back to work , and they told me that they can’t take me at the time of my appointment, and I’m probably would be in the office up to 2 hours . My recommendation if you coming during your work hours let you boss know that you not gonna be at work on time .Very disappointed 😔!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Almost One hour since my appointment and I still waiting ((((

Always a pleasant experience here, the facility is very clean and modern. The receptionist is also very kind and helpful! Strongly recommend this center!

The people here are really nice and do what they can to help, but the wait times here are horrendous. 30 min, 1 hour+ past appointment time is common.

This place is absolutely horrible. The nurse lied to me and told me that I would be asleep for the procedure,she told me that I could eat before the procedure and everything was a lie. This location is horrible, I had to get up in the middle of procedure and leave. I will never return here and I don’t recommend nobody returning here.

It’s a little ridiculous the way they don’t answer there phones. As I’m on the phone I can literally hear them picking it up then placing on hold. Waited over an hour to speak to someone never did

I had an appointment but I came a couple minutes late and the receptionist said the doctor wouldnt be able to see me that I would have to reschedule...Online says they accept walk ins an hour before closing wont be coming back here again

I tell you my procedure, I am a health professional and I have Gynecologist friends who follow this account on IG, at least 20 professionals endorse this company. Thats why I chose themHowever, until I met DOCTOR HUDE, the experience did not seem good.Shifts with more than 8 days late1 ultrasound 330 + 1 shift more than 330 and no possibility of curettage, because there was no shift.Since they do not have many Spanish-speaking employees, there was a problem with the second shift when they only offered me abortion with pills.Which, if the state of Florida looks bad, does not accept that the company intervene again. So you should travel to another state that involves time, money, etc.I asked for help from the call center to the front desk and so far no one had responded to my request to do the curettage, and I thank the women educators who have helped me connect with the HUD doctor who, despite the excess of patients take care of meOn my turn but with a different method as I was requesting. They managed to get him to take care of me.Thank you. Jorge, the kindest nurse I have ever met, who explained to me step by step and held me through the pain. A man with a vocation for service, love and compassion.The curettage was quick and almost painless.Human doctor HUDE smiling warm and patient when he was already feeling a lot of painJorge and Hude connected well, there was very good energy among the teamIt is the best curettage experience I have had, it has been with HUD and DE LA MANO DE JORGE and assistance from BetySomething that I also highlight is the cleanliness of the place and the girls who do the soft and warm ultrasoundThank you very much, I definitely recommend it.

Ill start the review by saying that at first I didnt want to go to this place because it has a lot of negative comments but they had the appointment very close so I made an appointment for that reason. My experience was very good, there are team members who speak Spanish, which I greatly appreciate. The girls at the front desk were all very professional, the medical assistants and doctors had excellent service, very professional, they explained everything very well, they were empathetic and at least I didnt feel that they did everything in a rush like in other places that seem to want to get away from you now, They are fast, efficient but take the time necessary to serve you. The only case that I particularly did not like very much was that distortion of the language that they have that is now called inclusive language that mania of not defining as correct everyone includes everyone that everyone is a distortion of the language that does not make me feel included is the only thing that I see totally wrong, this that not only happens here but in many places, far from wanting to unite as a species, creates more rejection and I could expand on it but that is not the point. I give them 5 stars and really give the place a chance, these people work well and its worth it.

No one from the real office answers the phone. They leave you waiting a thousand hours. The shifts are every 3 weeks and they are playing with a life. I do not recommend. Go to another responsible, efficient and effective place. This place is everything that is wrong. I was having a day. Its been 3 weeks now and they havent been able to perform any procedures on me yet. Totally irresponsible

Horrible, I waited 4. Hours for a procedure which they did not perform, I got tired of waiting and I left, they only told me to wait 10 more minutes and it turned into 4 long hours, they do not solve your concerns, they tell you one thing and after a while They tell you another, terrible attitude, I dont recommend it, very, very bad, they play with peoples time, I lost a day of work plus the Uber that I had to pay for, very, very bad

Very bad service, I waited 1 hour 30 minutes for them to attend to me when I had an appointment scheduled and we only sent 2 patients, I do not recommend it.

Dont go, its rubbish, they leave you waiting for three hours, they just say that they will attend to you and thats how their time goes, dont waste your time, theyre just going to waste your time waiting and they dont check you.

In this place they have excellent service, you feel at home because they treat you with a lot of love and respect.

I dont recommend it, very bad service.
