I never write reviews but I definitely needed to leave a review after my experience at this clinic. Dr. Chuong was recommended by my sister-in-law and all I can say is that she is truly amazing. From the moment I met her, she made me feel at ease, comfortable and happy with my decision. She was very sweet and helpful when explaining the fertility process and all the steps. Her staff was also amazing, from the front desk team to the nurses, everyone was great. They were on top of everything, constantly checked in on me and made me feel taken care of, they made my process smooth and enjoyable. Im shocked at the bad reviews, and all I can say is to give them a chance, they are truly amazing.

Her warmth, kindness, and attention to detail made all the difference. Denise was there for us through every high and low, providing comfort and encouragement when we needed it most. She is truly an angel in scrubs, and we can’t thank her enough for her care.The entire staff at the Fertility Center of Miami deserves a standing ovation. Their professionalism, empathy, and dedication to their patients are nothing short of extraordinary. From the front desk to the lab, every member of the team played a vital role in our journey, and we felt supported every step of the way.To anyone considering fertility treatment, look no further—this is the place where miracles happen. I rarely leave reviews but feel the need to in this case. I am receiving exceptional service at this office. Dr. Chuong is very kind and explains things very well. The staff is incredible… they call back every time, they are very attentive, and they give great instructions. I work in healthcare and can very much so agree this office is organized and has a great system. I am very please with the service I am receiving by Dr. Chuong and her staff.

The doctors and nurses were fantastic but the Billing department was a nightmare. They put in the wrong info that UniLab keeps coming after me months later for something I already paid upfront. Multiple calls and emails, lots of back and forth with Carmen the woman at Billing department and it still hasnt resolved a year later. Very frustrating!

My wife had a horrible experience. We knew about their really bad reviews, but we still decided to give a try with this, but we wasted so much money and time. The entire structure is poorly run. To get to talk to your nurse or whoever needed during the cycle, you need to call the main number that promise a call back within 48 hours. My wife was concerned of her pain, but they got back over email a few days later. It is critical to have more close communication during the cycle. Everything was slow moving and somewhat bureaucratic.My wife had multiple successful retrievals in another clinic this year, but this clinic one was just cancelling retrieval after spending $5K worth of medicine and all other fees. Never recommend. The management team should restructure how this clinic is run.

The staff is horrendous. They provided the wrong info and I had to come back another day. Then when I returned they told me I could come early but when I arrived they made me wait until the appointment time. I am a physician and have worked in many clinical offices and I have never seen such a disorganized mess. I kept trying to call the office over several days to reschedule my appointment and no one would answer the office phone. The wait time is horrendous.Update: practice administrator did take time to speak to me about my concerns and assured me my complaints would be addressed. I will see if this is indeed the case at any follow up appointments.

Did a few consultation visits with them. The doctor was great but the staff was BEYOND TERRIBLE. They are never on top of any appointments or paper work or even billing. You will have a lot of frustration if you work with them. First they lied to me about receiving my medical record causing my appointment to be canceled and they still want to charge me for it. And then they were calling me about a bill that was denied by my insurance back in last November in MARCH and it’s too late for me to get that bill paid! 🤬

We had the worst experience in this office. Fertility treatment takes a toll mentally and physically on you and the staff here had no bedside manner. We had issues with them from start to finish the attitude from the front desk was unbelievable I have never seen such poor professionalism. They would constantly make mistakes with scheduling and even lost blood work to the point my husband had to go in twice for the same test. The day of my retrieval just minutes before going into surgery I was told my dr wouldn’t be the one doing the procedure because of an emergency and then told he was out of town. The day of my transfer after having done all the tests and medications and having my body ready and a set transfer date they call me to tell me if they can reschedule because again my dr would be out of town. If you want to avoid a lot of stress and heartache look for another fertility clinic. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Dr. Jacobs is wonderful. His professionalism, compassion and care for his patients depicts what all physicians should strive to emulate. I had my first visit today. Unlike other doctors, he takes his time and spent 2.5 hours with me for a detailed history and exam. I had a fantastic experience at his office, feel that I was truly listened to and would recommend him to all women searching for a fertility specialist. Thank you, Dr. Jacobs.

Dr. Jacobs is the best! He’s very professional and thoughtful and has brought miracle to our life: I ‘m currently 3 month pregnant. We had wonderful experience with the center: all the nurses and staff are very kind and professional especially Marcia who is an angel, always respond to my email or phone call as soon as possible. Were so grateful for their amazing care and service.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Jacobs and the entire staff at the Fertility & IVF Center of Miami. We had our healthy and beautiful baby girl last February. We couldnt be more thrilled and confident to recommend Dr. Jacobs. The IVF process is trying, stressful, demanding and expensive and because the experience is without guarantees having a doctor that is an expert and clinic that is caring, knowledgeable helps to keep you on track. I am a real person sharing my honest opinion and we certainly made the correct choice.

Great office with a kind and helpful staff! I’ve been to other practices where the staff didn’t make me feel welcome but here from the very first interactions with Jonathan and Karla to Dr. Illioins and Gabriela - it has been wonderful. Dr Illioins takes his time truly listening to understand where you are in your journey and that was really nice and reassuring. Thank you all!

My experience with Dr. Ackerman and his staff was from beginning to end a roller coaster of emotions which in the end produced the successful experience of having two beautiful twin babies Alicia and Joey I thank God, Dr Akerman and his professional staff at the Fertility Center of Miami for our miracles every day.❤️🥰🥰

Worst clinic in Miami!!! All they want is your money and they dont care about results. I had the worst experience with Dr Jacobs who literally forgot about me...scheduled me for treatment without reading my chart and left for a 3 week vacation. What kind of a doctor does that??? The kind who does not care. I was told I fell through the cracks . NOT ok, especially when you are spending $$$$$.My second doctor , Dr Chuong was great and super attentive however for the clinic itself you are just a number. Want empathy or compassion from the staff? This is NOT your place. I spent over 60K and almost 2 years of my life trying to get pregnant here. Still chasing my dream so now we are at a clinic in Chicago. I just called to get 2 appointments for simple monitoring and they have the nerve to charge me for blood work instead billing insurance. I paid for a big package, never got to the embryo transfer part - needless to say there is no refund - then they want to charge $100 for blood work and $400 for ultrasound after all I have spent with them.They only care about success rates and revenue and have zero understanding of your situation. If you are not a cookie cutter case you are out of luck here.A super upset patient who wishes she switched clinics sooner.Just to be CLEAR: I am not upset because I did not get pregnant, I understand results are not guaranteed. I am upset because:1) Dr Jacobs forgot to read my results and scheduled me to proceed with treatment when I needed surgery on my fallopian tubes. Should I have not paid attention to the ultrasound tech and brought it to the nurse’s attention, they would have proceeded.2) Despite paying so much you guys denied me the transfer of our embryos AND failed to call me about this ‘fun’ fact.3) on top of all this you want to charge for bloodwork.Do not downplay my review by saying I am upset with you because I am not pregnant. That is not (entirely) your fault. Not paying attention to patients , lack of customer service and not thinking outside the box a d then wanting more money is what I am upset about.

Words can not describe how happy we are to have our baby girl. Thanks to the fairy godmother Dr. Taylor. I thank God everyday for giving Dr Taylor the gift to help every woman who wants to become a mother. She was very passionate about my journey to motherhood, and was there to help every way possible. My journey wasnt easy but with my faith and her gift I was able to succeed. I have visited both locations and she has an amazing staff. They are very professional and friendly. They always there to help whenever you needed them. Thank you all who helped me bring my baby girl into this world. God bless you all and keep up the good work.

Sad to post, but after being on total nerves after retrieval calling on day three to get status of embryos, the doctor informed us that the oxygen line to the incubator some how got kinked and killed our embryos. The worst part of it all is that when we met with the embryologist we asked to see the lab, they would not let us, so with all my thoughts just wondering if we did see the lab would we have noticed this potential problem and been able to prevent.

IVF deceived us. Before doing a semen analysis we asked them (employee Juan Carlos Seminario) if Cigna was covering it. We made it clear that we were not doing it if it wasnt covered, because it was not an urgent matter (like a treatment) and we just were checking the motility. Mr Seminario wrote an email that after talking to Cigna he confirms that the analysis was covered.Cigna rejected as they used a treatment code.IVF (represented this time by Marilyn Rodriguez) insisted in using the treatment code for our claim when we are not following any treatment.During the 3 way call, Marilyn Rodriguez, was very rude, bullying Mrs Maria Fallas from Cigna as well ourselves, denying the possibility of using the correct code.We ask them to prove that we are following a fertility treatment.IVF is obviously used to abuse clients, give them wrong information, take advantage of the delicate matter of fertility in order to make more money.We are not being difficult to pay but we want to be treated fairly.We want to avoid people to be deceived and abused.

I am editing my previous review because although things did not go as expected, the office did reach out to make things right for which I appreciate.

Every appointment I attended was rushed and wait time was over an hour (with an appointment time). I guess you give up quality care for high success rates so in the end its worth it.

We have a beautiful 10 year old boy!! We used this center for our treatment so long ago!! Amazing thank you Dr. Jacobs

This clinic is the example of everything that is wrong with the health of this country. Everyone knows that here the issue of health is extremely expensive and especially fertility, but in this clinic everything is a nebula with money, they never say how much it is and only once you have started the treatment do they start giving you new expenses, For no reason the fertilization fails and they have no idea why its like you keep paying, the attention is terrible. This clinic is the example of everything that is wrong with health in this country. The but Miami clinic, consult other options, do not be fooled like me by fame and because this man called Dr Akerman appears on TV and impregnates women. For me, this man is an imposter and I imagine that he only follows cases of a lot of money or that the You know that they can easily get pregnant, I know that my case was very difficult because of my age but I always tested positive in all the tests and I prepared myself and spent thousands on the medications and followed the process step by step to the end.Sir, I only saw him twice the first time and again when almost before the extraction my ultrasounds that he saw were fine, the follicles looked very large and he told me not to worry because if there was only one theI was going to extract it that day, that day I was also going to do the sperm extraction for my husband, it is worth telling you that in the tests on his sperm he saidThat it was too low that he could not get pregnant naturally on his own but that did not worry him because in the extraction ofSperm caught the spermatozoid and excited for the day of extraction, the nurse called me the night before and told me that the famous Dr.I could come because I had had an emergency and I had to travel out of the country but I couldnt.I was worried that there was going to be a very good Dr with a lot of experience that I never saw in my life, Dr Edwar Illions, imagine I was in a bad way, whoever paid for who I went to that consultation was never going to be there but after months of preparation and ultrasound and analysis and Your body is ready, you cant give up. I went and that Dr arrived late. I was almost anesthetized and the Dr didnt arrive. Then he arrived and they put me to sleep. According to the nurse, the extraction was good. They extracted 6 eggs. They said they were good. I left dazed and my husband was outside to leave. Bravo, annoyed and when we left there he told me I dont know what sperm they are going to do that with because they never called me to do the sperm extraction. Imagine what crazy level of bad work that clinic has, I had to return half asleep in pain to tell the nurses. So what sperm were they going to use for the IVF? She didnt know where to go and at that time she told my husband to excuse her and he had to go at that time to perform the extraction. It was truly crazy. I dont think that clinic is of any use there. Chance things are the worst. In the end they say that they fertilized two who had to inject theSperm and two fertilized ones a week that stopped growing just like that, we knew that it wasntIt was 100% possible but this was worse, we paid more than $20,000 and not even the famous Dr Akeman touched me, he did not do his job, please read women, do not be fooled, that is a terrible clinic and a terrible Dr who does not show his face or deliver with theContracts and they always steal your money. Famous things are not the best. I just hope that over time their mask falls off and they become the terrible clinic that they are.

My God, I wish I could have the possibility of having my child. They recommended this place to me, and I started reading all the comments and I was left that I dont know what to do.

Doctor Akerman the best and excellent experience 🥰😍❤️. Very sincere, kind and explains everything very well without rushing! Thanks to him I was able to get pregnant ❤️.
