I have seen Dr. Vivian for several years now and have recommended her to countless others during this time. She has an incredibly patient and compassionate bedside manner, and has an unmatched talent for addressing and fixing a wide variety of concerns, all through a holistic perspective. Her breadth of knowledge in acupuncture is unmatched by any other practitioner I’ve seen.More recently, my toddler daughter has tagged along with me to several appointments, asking for needles to “match mommy” and taking a long nap with needles (and magnets) all over! At our last session, my daughter wasn’t feeling well, and Dr. Vivian took so much care in placing magnets and needles to help boost her immune system and attenuate her virus. She felt much better by the next day, all thanks to Dr. Vivian!

I was told by doctors I would need to go to a fertility clinic and likely would need to use donor eggs to get pregnant, after I got an AMH result of 0.07 which indicated having barely any eggs left. I wasnt ready for that step yet and found Longevity Acupuncture online for fertility acupuncture. Dr. Vivian also suggested supplements and dietary changes to help with fertility. After 3-4 months of visits, I became pregnant, and am writing this 31 weeks pregnant. Dr Vivian was always kind and supportive and I looked forward to my visits. My 8-year-old niece and I have been doing acupuncture sessions together and it’s been so great! I love Vivian and so does my niece, and we both enjoy coming here to do acupuncture together. It’s so nice that we can do this at the same time together and be in the same room with each other. My niece is so relaxed afterwards, and she has been doing so great and really responding to the treatments.I originally came by myself to treat my TMJ issue and to do facial acupuncture. Then it occurred to me to ask Vivian if she treated children. She said she did and that she had alternative options for children like the magnets. My niece has been so content with those because she didn’t want to do needles.As a family we had been concerned about my niece’s health and growth. She has always had an extremely small appetite, and we were concerned she wasn’t getting all of the nutrients she needed for her health and growth. It’s been such a struggle to get her to eat complete meals and to get in all of the food groups a growing child needs. It’s been really tiresome. Her dental health had also been affected by this.I brought my niece in, and along with the acupuncture sessions, Vivian gave us a bottle of herbal formula to help increase her appetite and showed us a simple massage to do on her everyday. She actually sits down to eat and finish her food without getting up from the table. (She used to get up from the table a lot and try to do any other activity to avoid having to eat more). And then she’ll ask for more food! We are finally getting in all the food groups she needs.I’ve also noticed the acupuncture sessions have had a calming effect on her. She is an over thinker and can be a little anxious at times.We are so elated and hopeful now that she’s getting all of the nutrients she needs and that this will have a positive effect on her health, weight, growth, and teeth

I came to Dr. Vivian two weeks before my due date, new to acupuncture, but interested in how it could support an easier labor and natural induction. I was trying to have a successful VBAC and I had to spontaneously go into labor prior to 40 weeks to avoid surgery. I am so grateful I went into labor just a day prior to scheduled surgery, had a vbac without any complications. Dr. Vivian was so attentive, caring, and put me at ease every appointment. I never previously tried acupuncture because I never had a specific “ailment” but I could not believe how relaxed I felt during each session. I highly recommend Dr. Vivian…it is a rare doctor in miami that is both highly knowledgeable and empathetic.

Dr Vivian is fantastic. I’ve been seeing her for over three months and she’s helped me improve my stomach pain and gastritis. Vivian was super helpful in my ivf journey, I did a retrieval with unexpected results. So we did a second round and did acupuncture that round, which helped to get better results. And on our first FET I got pregnant, I am 10 weeks today with our little miracle! Cannot recommend her enough!

At the age of 40, 18 months after our first child was born, my husband and I decided to continue growing our family. To our surprise, we got pregnant right away, but it turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy. I went to see two fertility doctors for evaluation and was told by both that my egg reserve was very low and my egg quality was very poor. In addition, my tubes were swollen and full of liquid, which was creating a toxic environment. I was recommended surgery to remove one of my tubes. After more tests, both doctors recommended me using an egg donor. I took some time to digest the very difficult news and try to figure out what I really wanted. At the same time, she referred me to a new fertility doctor to check hormone levels to find out the reason for missed periods. My hormone test results were devastating, my FSH was 85, at a level of perimenopause, my ovaries were shut down and not working. I shared the results with Dr. Vivian, and she was very concerned but willing to help me improve my condition at all possibilities. So I started my acupuncture journey with Dr. Vivian, who was always so patient with me and very informative about each step of the process. No matter how many messages I sent to her, she was always quick to respond. After a few sessions, new lifestyle, supplements and following Dr. Vivians directions diligently, I started getting my period every two months. And then, all of a sudden, I had two consecutive period cycles! After 5 months seeing Dr.Vivian, I was so excited about the progress that I decided to repeat my hormone test. Dr. Vivian has been a tremendous help to me. She is very knowledgable and skilled in Chinese medicine and herbs. Dr. Vivian is incredible at what she does. I had chronic, debilitating pain from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and Dr. Vivian has almost completely eliminated my pain in just a few sessions. I came to Dr. Vivian for induction for delivering my baby girl. Dr. Vivian is knowledgeable and professional. She treated me for plantar fasciitis and back pain during my pregnancy and gave me lots of relief. I highly recommend Dr. Shou-Litman. I began seeing her for acupuncture around 34 weeks into my pregnancy to help with relaxation and various pregnancy discomforts (eg restless legs, congestion). Using a reclining chair, I was able to comfortably unwind each week. At 37 weeks she began assisting with preparation for labor and delivery, with the goal to go into labor naturally before my due date. Goal achieved! Thank you Dr. Shou-Litman!

Longevity Acupuncture and Dr. Vivian helped me get through my pregnancy. I was so thankful that I found Longevity Acupuncture. I originally was seeing another acupuncturist and made the switch several months into my pregnancy. Her treatments helped with my nausea, stress, and anxiety. Towards the end of my pregnancy, she worked with me, and we focused on treatments that helped get my baby into the correct position, in the end I had a natural birth which was my goal and my recovery was extremely quick. I treated with her for fertility; she is specialized in increasing ovarian reserves. I am 7 months pregnant now and really enjoyed treating with Vivian. She has a very calming presence and knows what shes doing. Go meet her yourself!

I ended up at Dr. Vivian’s office after searching for “acupuncture” and taking a risk on her after having pain from Achilles tendinitis for about 6 weeks. I had gone to a podiatrist, iced, and stretched, but the pain was still there. Dr. Vivian takes so much care, and has brought me so much relief from this pain. Vivian is indeed a miracle worker! I have done acupuncture before, mainly for my anxiety due to the assumption that this type of approach can only help de-stress me, but oh was I so wrong.I have a lengthy history with gastric issues and due to some harsh treatments was left with the aftermath of the wreckage such as nausea, bloating, constipation, vertigo, and the list can go on. Ive gone to Vivian numerous times in tremendous stomach discomfort, fully distended bloating with a bad case of the spins and leave after a session feeling renewed. My medical issues were complicated an spanned various systems of the body, which have to be handled by sub-specialists. Dr Vivian is able to put with the specialists info and test results to advise on nutrition as well as utilize acupuncture to speed the healing process. This is a wonderful, clean relaxing place and the doctor is an excellent communicator and medical provider.

Dr. Shou-Litman is so wonderful, I can’t recommend her enough. Dr. Vivian is an expert and clearly keeps her knowledge up to date! After four years of trying to conceive I decided to give acupuncture a try after reading many about success stories. I was months away from our first IVF and wanted to begin treatment prior so I searched for an acupuncturist in Miami that specialized in fertility acupuncture. While searching, I came across a number of positive reviews about Dr. Vivian Litman, in fact her site was one of the most popularly generated ones regarding fertility acupuncture in Miami. I decided to give her a call. Within less than 24hours I received a call back from Dr. Litman and we had a conversation on the phone where she began to assess my medical and fertility history, I felt very comfortable speaking with her and excited about my upcoming consultation. During our first consultation, she spent a great deal of time going over my history and was able to pinpoint my issues relating to a poor diet, low energy, progesterone deficiency and PCOS. She immediately recommended a treatment plan which began with changing my diet. She educated me on the foods that I needed to assist in being fertile and living a healthier lifestyle. She gave me in-depth information on low glycemic foods and the importance of properly nourishing the body while trying to conceive. She did my first treatment the same day of my first consultation and she was able to identify the fact that I had low spleen energy. Before I left she introduced me to Chinese Herbs that would assist in boasting my energy and support to my spleen. I modified my diet accordingly and continued treatments once per week for about eight weeks. I cut out diary, high glycemic and greasy foods. I ate mostly protein and good fats. She also emphasized the importance of the body being warm, so I drank lots of caffeine free tea, ate soups, wore socks around the house, and used a water bottle warmer for my tummy while undergoing IVF treatment. I began to lose weight, and I felt great, I had more energy, not just physically but mentally. I am so glad I found Dr. Shou-Littman at the beginning of my pregnancy. I usually suffer from back pain and carpal tunnel and 8 months into getting acupuncture from her, I haven’t had any flare ups. It was like a painless magic -- the other day I walked in Vivians acupuncture office with a left shoulder pain that had been bothering me for a few months. I must have got it one night because of bad sleeping posture. But the pain wouldnt go away after several months. I finally decided to try acupuncture. Vivian patiently listened to my story and then told me to roll up my right sleeve and stuck a needle on my right arm in the shoulder area. I didnt feel any pain when the needle stuck in my right arm and I was waiting for another needle to be put in on my left arm in the same location, something like that. But instead, Vivian asked me how I was feeling on my left arm. It wasnt until then that I realized the chronic pain on my left should had almost gone. Just like that! Vivian explained to me that she was applying a method found in the Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor to treat my pain and apparently it worked, right on the spot! After an hour of treatment, I was already feeling 50% less pain even when she removed the needle. I dont recall how many days it took for the pain to be gone completely. It must be quick as I dont remember being bothered by the same pain after that one treatment. It was like real magic and PAINLESS.
