Dr.Mendia is amazing! I’ve been a patient for the last 24 years since he delivered my son. He always has time to answer clearly all of my questions and makes me feel very comfortable during my check up. Everyone at the office is very nice and helpful when I have called with questions or help with prescriptions.

I love this practice as they saved my life from stage 3 breast cancer in 2015 and they are also carefully monitoring my health each year. Everyone was so friendly, clean offices and very spacious. Dr. Mendia takes his time to speak with you and really listens to your concerns. The checkout process is quick and separate from the waiting area. I recommend this group and this doctor.

This has to be the worst medical office in the US. The staff is unfriendly and rude, and they do not care to help patients. The receptionist specifically should not be working there if she doesnt like helping people.

Dr. Media is by far the best doctor for me. His bedside manners are outstanding. He has been my doctor since I was 19 years old. I trust him 100%. The office front desk is not the best. I called three times yesterday and all three time I was on hold for 11 minutes, 14 minutes. Etc. I was pretty upset because when I went in for my appointment, none of thr ladies at the front desk were busy. They were having personal conversations. The office would be more effective if the customer service would be top notch.

I cant say enough but I will say Dr. Mendia is the best and most caring, compassionate OB/GYN MD in the Miami area.... and I know since hes been my Dr for 19 years and through 2 births! Plus I never wait for more than 15 minutes at any appointment. My only complaint is Mercy Hospital is now charging $5.99 for parking!

At my first appointment last year, we first sat in his office as he took my health history. He asked questions and brought up issues that I wasn’t even necessarily thinking about. After a follow-up diagnostic, he called me to discuss the results, which were fine. Today I had my second annual appointment. Such an amazing Doctor with a heart of gold! Dr. Mendia has been my gynecologist and was my obstetrician, for over 11 years I trust his practice, ethic and caring attitude, and so the group of doctors at Miami GYN.

If I could give this doctor zero stars I would. I was a patient of his back in March 12, 1999. I am able to write this review because looking through my Medical Records I found his name. I could not remember for the life of me since I was so young and nervous because it was my first time seeing a Gyno but I found it my records. I went to see him since he was highly recommended. I was pregnant at the time. I went to see him twice and both times he told me he could not hear the babys heart beat. He said that was normal and did not do further testing. The third time I went to see him same thing happened. I was already 4 months at the time. Long story short went to see another Gyno for a second opinion and he practically saved my life. Baby was dead inside me for a while. I could have died!!! Please stay away from this doctor. If all is well with your pregnancy I am sure he is great otherwise he has no idea what he is doing.

The Gynecological clinic is very nice and pleasant, the girls treated me very well and Dr. Mendia is the best, the way he explains everything to me, with patience and affection makes him a wonderful human being, apart from the professional quality that is magnificent. On April 1, I went to the doctors office due to an emergency. However, they informed me that they were completely full and could not treat me, despite arriving with a fever and pain. The situation was extremely frustrating, it even made me cry. Another thing that I found terrible is that the woman at the front desk told me that if I made an appointment my insurance would not cover it because it was not my annual checkup, I dont know what the deal was. to insinuate but what he did make very clear to me IS THAT HE DIDNT GIVE EVEN A BIT OF IMPORTANCE TO MY EMERGENCY. Fortunately, I was able to find another doctor at the same Mercy hospital who saw me within an hour. I will definitely not return to this office as it seems like they prefer to ignore emergencies rather than adjust their schedule. Additionally, my new doctor, who I was able to see as a new patient without any problems, detected a large polyp that Dr. Mendia had never seen. In summary, once again I EMPHASIZE THAT THIS CONSULTATION IS THE WORST. I will never return, but I thank you because if it were not for this VERY NEGATIVE experience I would not have found Dr. Tarek, who is an angel from heaven.
