I felt so at ease for my first OB visit with Dr Acevedo. Was very happy that I scheduled with her, even though the rest of that staff has been amazing too. 5 stars all around.

I’ve been with Dr. Acevedo for all three of my babies and continue to go to her. I love her personable character and the nurses/staff are just as wonderful! I always leave happy and heard.

My first visit with Dr. Acevedo went amazingly well. She seems very knowledgeable. She is also very pleasant and she took the time to ask questions.

She was very attentive and friendly. Listened to when I spoke about concerns and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Very rarely do I leave a review, but she deserves this one. Highly recommend!

I was very fortunate to be recommended to Dr. Melissa Acevedo. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions. She was very kind when I had an anxiety attack during my first visit with her. Her calm manner and understanding made me feel safe and comfortable. And recently I had the chance to recommend her and her practice to a coworker for his wife. The staff at South Miami Women’s Health is also very nice and helpful. If you’re looking for a new Ob/Gyn, I highly suggest Dr. Acevedo and South Miami Women’s Health.

I cannot begin to share how beautiful Dr Acevedo truly is. She cared for me during my pregnancy and was my delivering doctor. She brought such ease, calmness and gentleness to her bedside manners. I felt so safe for me and my baby being under her care. If I could put 20/20 I would. This practice should know that she is absolutely an asset to any organization, group and or practice. I wish more physicians could project what she does for her patients. If you’re debating of which OBGYN to choose. I’d highly recommend Dr Acevedo.

Choosing the right obgyn was very difficult as a first time mom. I did lots of research and ended up going with Dr. Acevedo and it was the best decision I could have made! I had about a hundred questions each visit and she always took the time to address them. The whole staff here is just amazing. My baby boy is now 5 months old 🥰

What an amazing experience Dr.Acevedo is so caring and compassionate and really goes the extra mile. Had my first visit with her this week and I know this is going to be a great experience having her as my OBGYN.

Dr. Acevedo is absolutely amazing! She made sure I was comfortable and walked me through everything. Normally in any doctor visit everything is rushed and the wait time is excruciating and long, but everything was perfect. She also answered all 500 of my questions and still asked if I had anymore. She cares a lot and it shows. She really is a great doctor and her staff is the sweetest!

Dr. Melissa Acevedo is genuine in her care for each patient; being treated by her feels like you go to the Drs office to visit a friend. I can honestly say I look forward to going for yearly visits and future babies.I must also add that the office has a pretty amazing staff - its always a delightful surprise that they know my name. make sure my parking ticket is validated and efficiently make my visit, from start to finish, an enjoyable experience.

Dr. Acevedo is the VERY BEST! She is so sweet and understanding. I can talk for hours trying to explain myself and she will just sit there and listen till I’m done and help me in every way possible. Dr. Acevedo delivered my baby girl and to me it’s beyond sweet that she remembers her name! I don’t even know where to begin on how smooth my delivery went. She is the best!

Such a well run clinic. The clinic as a whole has a great atmosphere. There is never a long wait to be seen, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Parking is easy. The surgical coordinator, Mimi is so upbeat and a joy to coordinate with. Andi is a fantastic nurse, beyond helpful and personable. Dr Acevedo is such a bright and lovely human. She listens, understands my concerns, makes me feel comfortable and explains everything thoroughly. Her confidence and knowledge are reassuring. I dont think there is more you could ask for. I have/ would highly recommend.

If I ever have any questions she provides me with answers right away and doesn’t overcomplicate her responses with medical jargon but instead makes sure my concerns are addressed and puts my mind at ease. If you are a new patient you can print out a lot of forms online to make your wait in the office a little shorter. Dr Acevedo was super nice and very informative, she answered all my questions and provided me with plenty of prenatal vitamin samples to try out. I felt welcomed and am very happy I am with this team!
