I arrived at 10:13 am in the morning and I waited in the line for almost 1.5 hours. They took my friend upstairs and he asked me to wait with him. The nurse came to Room 9 and he was exceptionally rude and asked me to go downstairs and wait there. I left immediately. Half an hour later they called me for my exam. And I told them they kept me waiting for quite a while. I understand they might be understaffed, but I cannot tolerate the ill-educated, rude behavior from your employees. I would rather go to Wilton Manors and work with a professional.

I typically dont post negative reviews, but this one counts. I drove 40 minutes based on the website times, and Google time reflected. This was the second event where I came to this location only to be told they closed early and that these times vary. As a medical facility that caters to the public. Picking and choosing your hours is irresponsible to the very patients youre trying to serve. Not only that, some patients travel long distances to get to this location. If you decide to change your hours at the drip of dime or because you just want to close the doors early, you would be advised to post even if its based on a patient que. Very poor service. Not the type of place you should go unless you can get validation, they will be open according to their website hours. No one want s to fight traffic just to be told you decided to close early. Also, the office doesnt pick up their phone to verify.

I have visited the Ft. Lauderdale & Brickell Branch of this AHF center. Brickell Out of the closet experience has been disappointing. Front desk attendants are not helpful and seem to always have a bad day not willing to help or even speak to provide guidance. They have a waiting area for which you cannot sit or spend time at the charging stations since they dont like having patients around where they are visible. Overall, not once has the attention been pleasant or accommodating. Much to desire from a “wellness” center.

If I could give less stars, I would. I’ve been here in room 13 for 30 minutes. That’s after already waiting 1 1/2 hrs to get called into a room. This is also the 3rd time I’ve had to come here, because like others said, they will close at 12pm for “lunch”, when the listed time they are closed is 2-3pm. This place is literally the worst place to get tested for STDs that I have ever been to. And I don’t even want the AHF account to comment saying they’re working on their appointment system. I asked everyone here, THERE IS NO APPOINTMENT SYSTEM FOR TESTING. The only reason I’m here is because it’s the closest place to my home.

So many people complaining about the wait and business hours. Go somewhere else then and pay for std tests.i Love this place. Staff are really professional and it’s free. Thank you

The people who work at the front desk should change them all. They treat you without kindness, they receive you with a serious look and they do not have any kind of flexibility if you arrive a few minutes late for your appointment. I know the doctors have more appointments scheduled but please a little more kindness. At 3 they close for lunch. I was there 1 hour before and came back a few minutes late and they didnt serve me. The same thing happens if you are going to change a date for analysis or an appointment, they get upset, they tell you no. There is not the slightest attempt to resolve the situation. It is already the second or third time that I receive terrible attention from the reception. The rest of the care by doctors, nurses and other staff is excellent. They should analyze that because it is a generalized opinion according to what I read the other opinions

I have spent 4 hours driving thru Miami to help a friend get tested. I arrived at this location at a little after 5pm yesterday they had a sign posted they were done testing for this day. I have read other reviews that this is seemingly the norm to get staff out by 6. Im very empathetic to that, but then change your hours to 5PM to save someone like me the traffic nightmare to get there before 6 - only to be shut out because its after 5. I arrived today about 10 minutes to 2pm. Noticed online that it says closing soon - for lunch break. I, again totally understand the reasoning for this. Unfortunately, the signs were already posted, and Im sure not instantly before I walked thru the door, that they were on lunch. I love the service provided and find it invaluable, but between, traffic, parking, and flat out unreliable hours, I sadly have to drive an hour to Ft Lauderdale to get the services I need. Never once has AHF Broward given me any issue. Be transparent with your actual hours and youll see that it will streamline your efforts and make it work out better for all involved.

It is very unfortunate that after waiting two weeks for results of testing I had to be the one to call only to be told “there was a problem, you’re going to have to come in to get tested again!”Like how unprofessional is that!!These are very sensitive issues you guys are dealing with. People are sometimes worried until they receive their results which they have to wait a whole 2 weeks for and then…you’re told there was a mistake and your information is not in the computer, come back and do the tests again. SMH.You guys have to do better.

This place is always close. They close midday at other locations and to make thing worse they don’t have there hours straight on the website I drove 3 hours to south beach they use to have it open apparently because the website say it open at 10am and when I got here it was closed, I wasted my time my gas and had to pay for parking. What a wasted long day. Absolutely ridiculous

The time of this post is 12:55pm on a Wednesday May 10th 2023...theres a gentleman working at the front desk thats stating that this particular AHF center is closed until 2:45pm...ironic the actual hours of operation is 10am-2pm & then 3pm-6pm...this unfortunately is the reality of the having the lowest class of individual representing the AHF facilities....rather than take his break at 2pm and return at 2:45pm to start at 3pm he his manipulating the hours operations to suit a lengthy lunch break....UNACCEPTABLE

I think we should be more grateful for these types of programs and these people who work here instead of protesting so much. I found the place good, the attention and kindness excellent. Of course, if I wanted to leave early then I woke up very early and when they opened I was already there, so everything went faster. Thank you for what you do, not everyone is willing to work on these programs.

It was my first time at this health center. The waiting times are acceptable and the staff was very attentive and kind to me, especially the office manager Andrés who took time to explain to me how the program worked and what benefits they offered to the community for free. The nurses D and Alejandro were super friendly and gave me confidence to take the tests. My recommendations are to call before going to confirm if there are appointments available and go with enough time so that they can take the time to serve you well. Thank you very much to all.
