When my Oncologist, Dr Spriggs, left MSK Manh for Mass General, I was devastated. I had been through 2 occurences of OVCA, and subsequent remission under his care.I had heard of Dr. Konner and knew he had an excellent reputation, but I didn’t know if I’d find the same level of caring as my previous Onco gave. I’ve now been with Dr. Konner for a year, I am so pleased with his care and treatment. He is personable, explains everything, and truly has a caring and compassionate attitude. He has a hopeful outlook and has assured me that if my current maintenance therapy results lessen, there are always other options. I’m very grateful that I am going to MSKCC, in my opinion the Premier cancer center. It is physicians like Dr. Konner that help to make the place as great as it is.
