Avery Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology

I have been going to the Avery Center on Cross Street in Norwalk for over ten years, and I recommend it highly. I especially want to give a huge shout out to Dr. Taylor-Giorlando - she is the best OBGYN doctor I have ever seen - she is beyond thorough and very caring. In addition, the staff here is always friendly and kind.

Rosina is an angel! I also love how kind and thoughtful Dr. Nadal is. All around, everyone in the office, including the front desk, is so nice and caring.

Friendly staff and way more welcoming than their Westport office. Hoped for more appointments at this location, but they kept me at the Westport office and the care just wasn’t for me.

Dr. Kotlyar was amazing!! She is so kind and compassionate and made my annual exam a very comfortable experience

Did not have a great experience on my last visit, which was also my first at this particular practice. During my visit, I was not given opportunity to talk about the issues that I experience regarding my cycle. My appointment was treated with a “let’s get you your exam and on your way as fast as possible,” attitude, rather than feeling like I had the space to talk about my health in any serious capacity.I was asked no questions about my cycle (which is very irregular), menstrual pain (which I have been told prior are worse than what should be normal), or any of the other issues that I experience — which I have long thought may be endometriosis or similar. I was not made verbally aware of anything that was going on below as it was occurring, and the exam began with no warning to me as the two nurses conversed with each other about their personal lives. Of course these exams are never comfortable, however this was beyond the norm for what I have experienced at other practices and felt very unprofessional.It was not until after the exam, which was much more uncomfortable than normal, that I was asked if I had any “questions,” at which point I was not comfortable to talk about much of anything let alone the issues I have been having.I will not be returning and have decided to look for a new practice. It actually took me a few months just to write this, which has still continued to really bother me despite the time that has passed. For visits in nature of general gyno health, it was not somewhere that I felt comfortable and did not attempt to address general health issues in any genuine capacity.

Recently had a pleasure to be seen by Dr Ofer and by far hes one of the most caring and attentive healthcare providers out there. I also had a difficult delivery a few weeks ago but he was able to get my baby out fast and safe putting me at ease. Definitely made my labor experience a pleasant one.Cant say enough of good things about Dr Goldberg as well- hands down very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and always has a great solution to a problem.Everyone at Avery is extremely nice, professional and helpful so its hard to choose one. Been going there since 2013 and not once have I had a bad experience with either of them.

Dr. Offer has been my obgyn since I was a young girl and he is the best doctor possible. He is approachable and down to earth and is able to put you at ease. Very comforting. He never seems rushed and truly listens. I can not recommend him enough!

Dr. Goldberg is a fantastic doctor! He always comes in with a smile and time to talk about my history and current issues as a patient. I highly recommend him! The Norwalk office needs a bit of a facelift, but other than that, the staff is pleasant and friendly.

Ive had the good fortune to have a few great doctors when it comes to knowledge, skill, and, importantly, doctors personality, interest level, trust factor, ease of visit, comfort level with physician. Dr. Goldberg is easily one of the very top on that list. Hes a great doctor and a really terrific, rounded, interesting, and interested person!!

I’ve been going to the Avery Center since I was pregnant with my son in 2015. The entire practice is friendly and there isn’t one doctor that I wouldn’t recommend. However, if I had to pick one, it would be Dr. Goldberg. He’s extremely knowledgeable and reassuring. Wonderful bedside manner.

I really didnt think my 88yo end stage Alzheimers and dementia mother would cooperate for a needed exam, but due to the kindness and gentleness and gained trust of Dr. Goldberg and his assistance the exam went wonderful. I was actually very surprised and grateful that they went beyond the call of duty to complete the tasks needed. Very grateful.

Long time patient - over 20 years. Wait is never long at the Norwalk office. Staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Goldberg is knowledgeable, kind and he helped me through a very difficult twins pregnancy.

The Avery Center has been great to me starting with the pregnancy/birth of my first child. Dr. Ofer is great and always makes me (and my husband) feel comfortable. I never hesitate to tell a friend or family member about this practice!

DR Goldberg came across as a very kind & caring person. This is a rather embarrassing doctors appointment with Dr. Goldberg put me at ease from the moment he walked in examining room. Wonderful bedside manner, was very gentle and put me at ease.

Goldberg, as well as Dr. Ofer and most of the drs there at the Avery Center for 24 years, through so many different stages of my life, adolescences, having my babies, diagnostic cancer prevention, guidance, surgeries as well as just . They are a wonderful, nurturing, collaborative practice that I am proud to be a patient of.

Dr. Goldberg is LOVELY - very gentle and knowledgeable. Great staff, too. Easy new patient process. 100% would recommend.

They are all excellent professionals. The front desk people not as great but I would recommend any doctor in here. They did a great job with my baby dr adam adressed all my concerns as a first mom, very supportive , patient and he loves families and his job.

Avery center is awesome. Love dr ofer. My mom started seeing dr nadal. Always professional and I will forever be grateful to dr ofer for helping me and listening to me in some dark times.

Love going to the Norwalk office which is a little quieter. The nurse are receptionist wonderful. Dr. Goldberg is caring, thorough and easy to talk with.

Dr. Szeto is professional and very warm and caring. She never rushes you and makes sure that any questions you have are answered. Her staff is wonderful, efficient and very friendly.

Dr. Ofer is always thorough and asks questions and listens to any symptoms I am having. Goes above and beyond and refers to other doctors, etc. to get to the real issue. The staff is always helpful and kind.
