My daughter and I had an excellent experience with Dr Appelbaum today. I would highly recommend her. She gave us a lot of good information and I’m grateful to have her in our community. The office staff was great as well. Thank you!

Dr. Applebaum took excellent care of my daughter 18yrs old. She performed surgery on my daughter For endometriosis. She explained everything and answered ALL of my concerns. Thank you so much dr.applebaum😘

Worst experience possible coming from a pediatric doctor. No bedside manner, did not even acknowledge her 6 year old patient, did not diagnose my daughter or gave any ideas or feedback from her medical assessment. And since she didn’t diagnose, did not prescribe anything. I ended up taking my daughter to the ER to find out she had a yeast infection as well as a UTI and needed antibiotics and antifungal cream. Meanwhile she sent her home with nothing and to bring her back in 2 weeks. No patient advocacy, no age specific bedside manner, no communication, delayed care, awful experience.

My daughter just started going here and was due to have a procedure, but had scheduling conflicts and tried all day the day before to work them out. Judy is the one in charge of scheduling and she is awful and extremely rude. She cuts you off so you never get to explain anything and then she makes you feel guilty before she even knows the situation at hand. You were given 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason. Absolutely horrible. I’ll be looking for a new Dr for my daughter.

Dr Applebaum was the most amazing, nice, caring, great doctor! The office staff was really friendly and easy to deal with. The doctor knows what she’s doing and was so caring and friendly!

Dr. Applebaum was extremely professional and compassionate. She was very skilled and knowledgeable and was able to address my medical conecerns accurately and effectively. I was extremely grateful to her!

Dr. Applebaum was such an amazing pediatric gynecologist. I wouldn’t have sent my daughter anywhere else. She cared for my daughter and comforted her through the surgery that she performed so perfectly. And on top of all this she was truly nice and understanding.

Made an appointment for a follow up for my daughter to be seen after we left the ER for a 6cm cyst that they found in her ovary. Took two months to get appointment. On the day of the appointment THEY realized they booked me in the Brooklyn office rather than the New Hyde Park office that I made the appointment for. They couldn’t accommodate and they said I would have to wait another two months for an appointment. Ridiculous!!! Unprofessional!!! Very unethical now to make a kid wait four months with her condition. Care more about $ than patient care I guess.

Dr. Applebaum and the entire staff made my 14 year old feel safe, empowered and believed. Excellent care, rapid treatment. We have had an excellent experience.

I had an extremely positive experience with Dr. Appelbaum. Starting with the receptionist everyone was so nice and helpful. Dr. Applebaum herself was extremely gentle and sensitive making sure I felt comfortable and understood everything. I appreciated the time we were given. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Heather Appelbaum only cares about her own family life and not that of her patients. She dismissed my concerns for my daughter multiple times until it was too late and my daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at age 16. I blame Dr. Appelbaum and her colleagues at Northwell Health for the death of my daughter and will never forget everything they didnt do.

Claudine is awesome...took my call when I was stressed out and was patient and professional. Greta was incredible as well. Had issue with pharmacy and at the end of her day she expended the time and effort to contact the pharmacy, make sure all was taken care of and then called me back to confirm. THANK YOU...Great care in an era of challenging issues. DR. APPLEBAUM - you have a great team.

Dr. Applebaum was thorough, kind, patient and all the things a pediatric specialist should be. My daughter was immediately at ease in a potentially catastrophic scenario and we are forever grateful for all her help.

I had a paragard inserted and was having complications which was continuously brushed under the rug by the dr. and nurse. You could never even speak to the doctor if you had a problem. The nurse calls you back and “everything seems fine” was always the response. I couldn’t take it any more and went to a new gyn to find out I had BV and my iud has been in my cervix. It is disheartening to me that they were unable to draw this conclusion among the handful of times I have called the office complaining, and has caused immense pain for months. Besides the fact you will be waiting in the office for hours on end to have a five minute appointment where none of your questions are answered. This place is unprofessional and proper patient care is not maintained.

Highly recommended. Knowledgeable and personable. Also loved Dr. Beckwith the endocrinologist. 5 stars.

So so amazing. Ive had bad experiences with other Drs. In the past but sjes absolutely amazingg!

Awfullll staff, I️ was turned off over the phone that I️ decided to go elsewhere. They screwed up on the appointment time they wrote on my card, instead of apologizing they are being rude and nasty.

Suffice it to say that I feel bad to have subjected my 19 year old to this prejudiced, judgmental, condescending quack.
