Florida Urology Center - Ormond Beach

My review has been deleted once lets try again. First I was scheduled to see a Dr. At no point was I ever told I was seeing a PA, he introduced himself as Ken. I just assumed the doctor wanted to be called by first name. I told him my prior diagnosis and he flat out said that was wrong on first visit with no testing done first and suggested I do a very painful procedure that day if I wanted to feel better. He made multiple lewd remarks that were out of line, so much so that even his MA said something to him about his behavior. They left me bleeding (without telling me I would) and gave me two antibiotics in a zip lock baggie.I cancelled my follow up and explained to the receptionist why and she gasped in horror when I told her what he said to me. She said an office manager would call me back immediately, but no one did.A month later, I was sent a bill for the barbaric and totally unnecessary procedure he performed on me.I went for a second opinion elsewhere and found that none of the things he did to me were necessary. Stay far away.No one should have to go through what I went through here.

Wife has waited for weeks for the doctors to review her records to see if she qualifies to be honored with an appointment. She has had numerous kidney issues and the only answer from the staff is that she can go to an urgent care if she needs to be seen. This place is a horrible joke that I would not recommend anyone go to.

Dr Guido is a great urologist who displays high level of competency and a caring demeanor. Office nurse Stephanie is highly competent and dedicated to her profession and always available as needed. Entire office support staff is very welcoming as well.

Dr Morrow and his Team are great.Every experience I have had has been top notch. Good caring people who get issues resolved!

This place is a joke. Stephanie in particular is liar. Can’t even get a hold of her or won’t even return your call. She said a 2nd prior authorization was sent over with lab work and was again denied. I spoke directly with my insurance company and was told that they have not received a 2nd PA and that there is no 2nd denial. For that reason I don’t recommend this location and will not be returning to this place.

The most miserable rude office I have ever been in. There is this woman who calls herself the office manager. She couldnt have been nastier. I was treated like cattle in the office and I did not receive the treatment I came in for. The worst experience ever in a urology office.

Front desk receptionist was so nice. Intake nurse was so nice too! And we met with Dr. Frank, he was kind to take the time and explain a procedure to my husband and I. Overall Positive experience for us 😊

Stay far away from this place. They grossly overbook, change your appointment time without telling you, and then claim you’re late while trying to get you to reschedule for several weeks later. The ormond beach location is operated like a major airline. No appointment is safe and nobody is accountable for anything. Anyone who works for a horribly disorganized health care practice with no accountability cannot be trusted to use sharp objects on patients. There are other places in Volusia county that perform the same services. Florida Urology Center is always going to send you to Ormond for anything surgical so don’t bother trying the other offices. The best option for anything surgical involving urology is going to be in Orlando.

Professional, fast, nice, and good results.Highly recommended by me.They knock you out for a vasectomy, very cool.

The physicians and medical staff were extremely helpful and courteous. I would recommend any family member looking for urological services to this practice.
