Dr. Hovik T. Taymoorian, DO

Dr. Taymoorian is such a kind man. My delivery was so smooth with him & you can tell he actually cares about you & your baby. Others say hes rushing all the time, which I could see why but hes not neglecting care for you in the process. He has a lot of patients & wants to ensure everyone is seen. As well as teaching new students that are present often in his office. Any questions you have he takes seriously & actually listens to your concerns. He makes you feel extremely comfortable & secure. His office provided a wonderful vibe & atmosphere. Hes also hilarious... Just dont tell him that. Ha!

I love Dr.Taymoorian , he makes me feel so comfortable. He delivered my 2 kids and always puts my needs first, he listens and he loves to teach his students (I admire that) I had a high risk pregnancy and he would take his time to call me even during off hours to explain results, or to answer questions I had. Love you tay!!!!

Dr taymoorian has been my obgyn from the moment i found out i was pregnant with my son, he made sure to take care of everything i needed when i went in to my first initial appointment finding out i was pregnant, he made my boyfriend feel welcome and included as well, i loved how fast my appointments were because lets be realistic who enjoys long waits and long appointments?? not me, i loved going to my appointments and him getting right to it all, answering any questions i had and sending us on our way, my whole pregnancy he took care of me and baby and made sure we stayed healthy and on the right round to delivery, he also always answered his after line number no matter the time of day/night when it came to his patients! that right there shows ALOT about a doctor, especially for first time moms i was always freaking out lol, Then came delivery we had found out i needed to have a c section because my son was weighing bigger then we thought and i am super small so there were alot of risks and i was beyond terrified but he did everything he could to keep me calm and comfortable, the nurses at harbor hospital weren’t the best during recovery the two days i was there during the day shift but my night nurses were amazing throughout it all!my son is now almost 10 months old and healthy as can be, and im thankful i had taymoorian deliver him and take care of us throughout my pregnancy! if i ever have anymore children he’s the ONLY person id want to deliver my babies. Thank you Dr T for all you do you are the best doctor!!

Dr.Taymoorian is the glue that has held my pregnancy together. He has went above and beyond in every manner. His front desk staff are amazing very kind and organized. He was recommended after delivering my sisters baby and it has been a great experience for me as well. 100/10

By far the most compassionate best Dr I have ever had the pleasure of being the patint of. Hes an amazing Dr and an all around just decent good man. I dont regret using him for my last pregnancy which was the most emotional experience Ive ever dealt with and he made the process so much easier. I will be taking my daughter there when the time is necessary. Would recommend him to any one of my friends and family.

I had my first appointment today. I was so excited to finally see my baby, hear a heart beat get a due date and some pictures!! He showed me a 3 second glimpse of the heartbeat in flickers and didn’t offer a listen, he did not measure my baby and did not give me an estimated due date. I at least thought I’d be asked a few questions about myself and/or my pregnancy. He did none of that. He did not do an internal sonogram, which I was extremely disappointed about being that I believe I am 7 weeks or further and that is what most, if not all, doctors do in early pregnancy. He told me “you’re probably about 8 weeks” took a picture, shoved a referral and lab test in my face and had me on my way. Your first appointment is suppose to answer all/most of the questions that have been lingering in your head since the day that second line finally showed up. I had no answers leaving the office and to make matters worse, it looked like I was the only patient in there! Extremely upsetting because he delivered my nieces and I thought he was going to be great. It’s like a drive through OB and he doesn’t seem to care at all about you or your health. If you are highly anticipating your appointment like I was, DONT GO HERE!!!!

Current patient of Dr. T, highly recommended from my sister & friend when I became pregnant. He is very fast & speedy but I never leave the office feeling confused or uninformed - he explains and answers my questions in depth & extremely detailed. I have heard the heart beat every visit and had a snongram almost every visit - whenever I ask for a sonogram picture he always prints them for me. During COVID he let a guest in with me when my husband couldnt come with me.. His staff is very nice and always helpful! I will continue to go to Dr. T.

Dr. T was highly recommended to me back in 2008 and I have been going ever since. He is AMAZING! I have never had such a positive experience with any Dr, let alone an OB/GYN. He delivered all 3 of my babies and was incredible from day 1 all the way to post-partum and beyond. His office is lovely and comfortable, his positive and upbeat nature infectious, his staff friendly and helpful... I simply cannot rave about him enough.

I was very disappointed with the care I received from Dr. Taymoorian. He was always in such a hurry every single appointment and rushed me out of the office as quickly as possible. He never had my chart on hand and had to ask me what tests we had already done because he didn’t know. All he ever wanted to do was ultrasounds and the heart monitor for the baby. I am now receiving care elsewhere, and they were very surprised to learn he never took urine samples to check for infections and other problems that could be occurring. I will say his office staff was very nice and they were very quick when transferring my medical records to my new doctor.

I love Dr Taymoorian everyone in Glen Burnie went to him. I went to him when I was 15 and pregnant he was nice and gave me a lil gift when I had my first daughter. Ive had 3 c section with him but I feel like my last one something not right how was a so fertile but now it seems hard to conceive again. When I had my last one I remember him saying no more kids but I dont know. I just hope everything is good. I control my life and I feel as tho he seen me having kids young he may have stopped that. Im going to hope n pray not because I will REALLY be upset. But other then great place ☺️ theyve been nothing but nice but I always cancel my appointments or just dont show sorry I dont do docs but I want ONE more kid so I need to know whats up.

I am currently a patient of his. There is nothing about going to him that has been great. He is ALWAYS rushing. If you anticipate your appointment and can’t wait to see baby... DO NOT go to him! He was in the office for two mins tops at my 15 week checkup. Never takes time to talk to you about your symptoms. He sends you elsewhere for bloodwork and for all important sonograms. I never hear the heartbeat with his machine in office, or find out what the heart rate is. He doesn’t take pictures for you of the baby with his machine in office. He also wanted me to go get lab work done after my first appointment and just stuck the paper in my folder... never explaining what I needed to do. This is my first pregnancy so I was clueless. When I went back he acted like it was my fault because I was supposed to go get bloodwork and a first trimester sonogram somewhere else.... how was I supposed to know that he didn’t do that in office? He always has a team of 5 plus students following him around. He cares more about teaching his students then he does about the patient laying on the table. My husband takes off work to go to the appointment and it’s a JOKE. Nothing to see nothing to talk about because he is rushing between patients so much. Going to look for a new doctor because I’m just so disappointed.

The doctor, the staff and the office are so welcoming and its a great positive atmosphere. There seems to always be a new student around which is a great indication the doctor is very interested in the education of the next generation. Dr. Taymoorinan is very attentive and friendly and puts your mind to ease.

Love Dr. T! Had an amazing delivery! Saw some specialist I didnt like, and he never left my side with my thoughts and concerns! Now 2 years later he remembers it like yesterday! His staff is wonderful also, never an issue! Always get in right away for acute visits, and always get them on the phone.

Taymorrian delivered my first two babies and I used to love him. However, with this last pregnancy, Ive noticed a change. He is always in a hurry, makes you feel like youre in a drive thru OB. Doesnt take any time to listen or ask any questions, to be an actual doctor to his patients. Hes always surrounded by a group of student doctors, even when you go into his personal office area which makes it hard to discuss embarrassing or difficult topics when theres five strangers always standing around. What really did it for me, was when I received a diagnoses at 20 weeks from harbor that my baby has a heart defect.I went to University where they gave an official diagnoses and though they did say I could terminate if I felt it went beyond my threshold, neither myself nor my partner EVER gave any indication we were going to. They also said that due to my babys condition, I would no longer be seeing Taymorrian as this was outside his scope, and my care would henceforth fall under them.Taymorrian, who I have been seeing for 15 years now, never once called to check in on me after receiving word of this. He did however, five days later, without so much a phone call, called in a prescription for me for abortion pills.Imagine walking up to the pharmacy, no idea what youre picking up only that he had called it in, and being handed something like that. I had to read the pamphlet to know what it even was. Not only is that profoundly medically unprofessional, its also heartless.I called his office and left a message. Never heard back. Called again and spoke to the receptionist who said he wasnt in. Told her what happened ( she said the pharmacy could have mixed my script up with someone elses. Doubt it!) and that she would have him call me. That was a month ago.His behavior is not only unprofessional and medically irresponsible, its also horrible and inhumane on a human being level. i have ever been so disappointed in a doctor in my life.He should stop practicing and just go to teaching since he obviously no longer has the attention span, or care, to be a good doctor to his patients.

DR. TAYMOORIAN IS SUCH A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!! I recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for a new OBGYN> I went in trying to get pregnant he did the right testing right away, when we could not find out the answers he sent me to shady grove fertility who has also been beyond wonderful! he is such a nice guy and so is his staff they make you feel so comfortable. He cares about your needs and wants he is not liker any other doctor I have seen. please try Dr. T if you are looking for a new doctor!

Dr. T and his staff are AMAZING! I had a high risk, highly emotional pregnancy last year and I cant imagine the experience being any better than it was. They are the absolute BEST!

I am visiting during the covid-19 pandemic. The place was dirty in my opinion. The seats looked like they where never cleaned they had dirt, hair, and other unknown things all over them. The staff where not properly wearing there masks. I feel like places like this should really take clenlyness/covid seriously..... but that being said the staff are always very friendly and the Dr. Taymoorian is great and because of that I still give 5 star.

Dr. Taymoorian is a great dr i would recommend alot of females to see him. He is soo much better then any ob dr i had gone to in calvert county. His staff is also great. When i go into the office im usually in and out with in 10 minutes or maybe less.

Love him and staff I actually look forward going to see the office lol but he is excellent and quick and he makes you feel like a friend more than just a patient

My first appt today as a new patient and was left in the examining room for an hour undressed except the paper gown. Got tired of waiting, got dressed and left!!

Always been like family! Amazing doctor, love him! cant wait to have him bring my daughter into this world.

Dr Taymoorian is a funny guy and I love his personality and he is so funny I go to him all the time and he just delivered my great niece good job dr Taymoorian

Would not recommend this doctor!!!!charged me for something I did not have done, and such rude staff, I would never go back to this office again, they are a bunch of LIARS!!!

I’ve called this office 5 times in a month to get in as a new patient and front desk doesn’t answer. Left 3 voicemails and no call back.
