Chai Urgent Care Plainsboro - New Jersey

This has been my 3rd visit to Chai Urgent Care Plainsboro after moving from Hamilton. The doctors are always thorough and offer quality patient care. My results always come back quickly, and the office manager is not only friendly and personable but makes sure that my appointment runs smoothly and timely. Which is greatly appreciated when you are not feeling well. I know there are some negative comments but that has not been my experience. I highly recommend going here and suggest you judge for yourself.

Amazing service. You can sense the heightened level of care from the staff the moment you enter. Dr Ritesh has been nothing less than fantastic as he treated my senior citizen father. His constant phone follow-ups after the visit made my father feel at ease as he is recovering.

Ive been here about 3 times for COVID tests and one Sunday visit for an illness. Front desk and nurse staff are always very friendly and efficient. Thorough exam. I really appreciated that the physician did not write me a script for unneeded antibiotics but remedies to alleviate my symptoms.

I found Chai Urgent Care because they are one of the only centers that is open later which is when I needed help. I was able to park close to the entrance and Jennell helped me right away. I used the self check in tablets to enter my information. After a few minutes waiting, I was called back to a room and was seen by a doctor after only a few minutes of waiting. He examined me and was very helpful. I had a good experience and will definitely return when I need help again.

Absolutely love chai urgent care!! 5 starts isnt enough. The staff and doctors there are excellent. I went there yesterday and was greeted by Johan, he is so attentive and took his time with me. He always remembers who I am and is thorough when asking questions before the Dr. sees me. I was seen by Dr. Patel and he is amazing!! Almost every time I go to Chai he is my Dr. and is always so friendly. I love the fact that he asks you questions and doesnt ever seem like hes in a rush. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone thats looking for excellent care and no wait time!!.

My daughter’s experience with Chai Urgent Care went smoothly and quickly. The front office and nursing staff was friendly and very helpful. My daughter said that the doctor was easygoing and made her feel comfortable. What more can you ask for in an urgent care?

I had a cough with blood one night I rushed to Chai the next day. The nurse and doctor Patel helped me with excellent service. Doctor Patel was very scrupulous and careful in examining my condition. It turned out that the bleeding was caused by blood thinner. The chest xray that he ordered turned out clear and clean. This urgent care facility is wonderful. Really blessed.

This is by far the best urgent care I have ever been to in all of NJ.All sign in is done via IPads that are docked throughout the waiting room, so you dont even need to talk to a person to get checked in and get your spot in line, which I found to be very convenient. Also this served as an inconspicuous way of sharing your reason for being there, much better than having to blurt out to the entire room why you are visiting the doctor today (for some reason every other urgent care Ive been to just asks loudly why youre there lol -no privacy whatsoever).All encounters with the staff were great. Everyone was nice and attentive and really seemed to care. They were even able to point me to a 24hr CVS, so I didnt have to wait until the next morning for my prescription.Great place! 5 starts, A+, however you want to put it 😊

The staff were prompt in addressing my reason for visit. Not only did the Physician make me feel comfortable, I also recieved two follow up calls to make sure I was doing well. I highly recommend this urgent care. This was also my first urgent care experience. Thank you Dr. Patel!

If I could give more then 5 stars I would. They were amazing! Johan Is who I saw in person and he listened to everything I had to say. He was patient with me and made me feel heard. He took his time to go over everything. I saw him in person and Scott McClain over video and he listened to everything I had to say too. And really made sure I left feeling heard and comfortable. I tested positive for covid and they made me feel safe. It was an amazing experience. I will definitely be back and recommend this place 100%!!! They are working so hard and seeing hundreds of people in a day and even with that still giving each customer 100%. That’s so important. I’m so happy I was seen here! Thank you to all the staff and especially Johan and Scott McClain! I wish you all health and happiness thank you!

Donyeh and Sam Patel helped us out so much last night. We showed up a little later than expected and they took us in right away. They are a great team and when I called today to get the paperwork faxed over to the house, Donyeh was right on it. Thank you both so much, you really saved us a trip to the hospital last night! Timings they have on google and what they have stuck on their front door are not correct. I visited them last night around 8:15 pm and they were already closed.

These $&@?! refused to assist my wife with a very basic issue--insisting its a specialists area what with this being a lady part. Meanwhile this is an issue theyve helped her with in the past. They ultimately admitted the doctor she saw was incompetent in the area. My wife was in pain and desperate and they pushed her out the door with ibuprofen.Roll the dice, maybe the person you see that day will understand medicine--maybe not. We couldnt be more disappointed.

The black woman at the desk either doesnt care about the business (which the owners should take note) or her jobCalled them to see if I need to make an appointment or can walk-in.Also asked who was the attending physician. She gave the name of the attending physician and said it was walk-in. When I arrived, she told me that physician would not be at the office for another hour!!!! I was running a fever and she tells me after I arrive about the physicians hours. When I asked her why she didnt tell me when I called her, she said thats not her problem!

First time visit for Covid test, the young lady nurse was rude, but the doctor was nice. Since I had Covid symptom, I need to test to make sure not to infect others, especially I need to contact so many children. But the rapid came out negative, with the symptoms, doctor told the nurse to arrange another PCR, but the nurse just refused to help me even though I said I can wait to be the last person to walk in. She got angry just said no.

I came in with a clogged ear and the doctor had no idea what he was doing, and he made my ear worse. There’s no blood in my ear and trauma to the inside of my ear because he had no clue what he was doing.I would not recommend this place to anybody they are terrible there. I don’t know what they’re doing, and they cause more damage to my ear than I already had.

In the past Chai used to be a place for walk-ins for Covid appointments with a great turnaround, today they mentioned about 3-5 day window to share the results with an appointment. If you are looking for travel, you can avoid this place. May be the high demand is causing them to be less friendly to their customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore to anyone.

Very efficiently run and they were all super pleasant and easy to work with. The person who administered the test was able to do it without any discomfort. Not as easy as it seems with young kids.

I paid $139 for a Covid test on 12/22/21 to travel and I’ve since returned from my trip, and I still haven’t received the results. Trying to get a response and a refund has been challenging. Thankfully, I was able to go to a pharmacy in town for another test and they provided a swift response.

Had to delete my recent review and redo it. I want to say thank you to Dr. Patel & his wonderful right hand man who was in the front. They were able to get me in for a walk in when I couldnt get anywhere. I appreciate their kindness and I am sorry for being a big b*tch as first! THANK YOU!

This was the second time I went here,I didnt have my insurance cards, but they were able to take their time out and find my daughters card in the system even though she was never there before. They also were fast and coordinated,same day covid test...good job Chai Urgent Care

The medical staff were prompt and diligent even during a long weekend and the doctor was available even post consultation for any followups. The check-in formalities were very smooth and quick too.

Great experience. Dr. Patel is a great doctor and went out of his way to make our visit very pleasant.What doctor gives a follow up call these days? Not many. He did.

Totally unprofessional and useless. Over the phone I was asked to come at a certain test at 3 pm for a walkin. When showed up there on time, they changed mind and asked to go back and take a appointment. Website and notices posted on the door says walk ins are accepted and all but they change mind to see or not.. guessing doctor was not in good mood..

This place is horrible ... my wife went to see dr here for her cough n pain her shoulder ... dr at urgent made a big issue that she might have stroke and may be due to some nerve bleeding and she should go to emergency immediately and my wife was in shock and called me immediately we have to rush to ER immediately and when reached ER everyone was shocked how someone is so irresponsible to recommend a healthy person to ER for just cough n light pain in shoulder without checking all symptoms... just because of non professional dr here we have spent almost 3 hrs in ER ... avoid this place at all cost !!!!!

I took my daughter there as she was in pain and they asked us to come back in 1.5hrs and make an appointment but there was no description of appointment required on there website even the door says JUST WALK IN.They DEFEATED the whole meaning and purpose of URGENT CARE!!!!SUPER BAD attitude of staff.

This is my second time visiting this location. It is very clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Johan who actually remembered who I was and took me right inside as soon as I arrived for my appointment. I highly recommend coming to this location!

Seriously!!! Hours are until 9pm...my wife just got there at 545pm and they arent taking any more patients!! How is that ok? Do not visit this place!!!!

Outstanding!! Was so impressed with the clinical staff and the PA that cared for my daughter was extremely thorough to make sure if didn’t miss anything when diagnosing her fever.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional. The visit only took about 15 - 20 minutes in total with really no wait time.

The staff are very kind and helpful. I was seen right away and given immediate medical attention. I felt cared for and would be back again if needed.

Dr Patel was caring, efficient, very kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely go back to him, he is a doctor I can trust

Johan and the rest of the staff were super helpful even under the least ideal of circumstances. I found them to be efficient and pleasant.

The staff is rude and they have no idea about protocols and all they will say is let us check with the provider . All they are worried about is billing and collecting their fee. Very unprofessional location .
