I cant say enough positive things about Wise Wellness, but Im going to do my best anyhow. The whole staff is a pleasure to interact with and the treatment is top notch. I am able to manage my pain, depression, and anxiety better thanks to my treatments, for which I am thankful. I believe Arnold said it best, but... Ill be back 😊

This was my first experience with acupuncture and it was very positive. Melissa is very knowledgeable and I felt relaxed after the first visit. Looking forward to future visits and long term results.

The staff at wise wellness is the best! Each one of these ladies takes the time to treat you as though you are the only one in the building. Everything is explained and you are left feeling very knowledgeable about your treatment and what to expect.I highly recommend wise wellness.

UPDATE : I’ve returned for orthopedic pain management and after just 3 sessions have gone from concrete texture to muscle texture. The tension is melting away each visit and I have stopped taking narcotics earlier than anticipated!Thank you team!Excellent care! Clean and comfortable rooms with experienced staff who truly care and cater to your needs. Smoking cessation works! Over a year as a non smoker after 3 visits and a follow up each year.

Wise wellness Center is a MUST experience for the acupuncture skeptic. From the moment I walked into the office, I experienced a zen-like feeling from the atmosphere, sound, fragrance and warm greeting from the office manager, Emily. Such an amazing staff!Over the course of just a few short months, I experienced a 40% improvement in the pain throughout my body. The owner, Melissa, is simply brilliant. Not only is she incredible at what she does, as an acupuncturist and an expert in Chinese Medicine, but she is a fantastic person who makes it her mission to help you from the moment you meet her.I felt at ease and comfortable from the first treatment on. Never in the holistic medical field had I come across such a focused, knowledgeable, patient and personable individual.Melissa integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine and nutrition to treat her patients holistically, and not just zero in on specific symptoms. She wants you to be truly healthy, not just free from pain/illness. She will answer every question you have, and her patience never ceases to amaze me.Also…she is always fun to talk to, which makes things a lot easier if you, like me, are initially a little afraid of needles!Need I say more?! Truly a place of healing! Went in with neuropathy in feet, as well as burning pain and difficulty sleeping due to pain! After several months of treatment I have no signs of neuropathy and limited pain! Very kind and thoughtful staff.

Very informative and look forward to continuing care. Easy to understand and EXPAINED EVERYTHING to assure I understand the process. Ive improved so much that I have to get new shoes to walk in because my feet are no longer swollen. My total knee replacement has recovered much faster than normal according to my surgeon. Overall, the best recovery outcome I could ask for. Erin you are simply THE BEST!!!

My first time and definitely not the last time getting acupuncture done. I had been looking for places for a long time and was recommended by a co-worker to try this place. Not only do they do acupuncture, but they offer much more which I am also looking into getting.The staff was very polite and professional and didn’t hesitate to make sure I had the information I needed. Erin was very detailed in getting my history and going over how the process works. She also gave me step by step indications of what she was doing and where a needle was going so there was no surprises.It was a lovely atmosphere, it was very clean and hygienic, she also of course wore gloves.I set up my next two appointments right after I finished! It was just an all around good experience. 100% will and already have recommended them to others.I am super grateful that they take insurance as well. Some other places do not do that.

Wise wellness center is a warm happy place. I am feeling better every time I go for treatment. I felt very taken care of by the wonderful staff and my acupuncture expirence was healing and revitalizing. Five Stars😃

Cant recommend any higher. This place is amazing and heres why.Ive had pretty serious back pain for almost 20 years stemming from the military. I honestly didnt consider acupuncture a real treatment option. After 4 visits my view on acupuncture has completely changed. I am currently at a point where Im not constantly feeling pain and days will go by before I think I dont feel any pain and its a good strange feeling for the pain to just disappear. I wish I would have tried this years ago.Everyone who works here is an absolute professional. They will do everything they can to help accommodate your schedule, Emily is awesome. The entire facility is spotless top to bottom. Every room has a hepa filter.The two acupuncturists that worked on me (Melissa and Erin) are great at explaining what they are doing. They are both extremely nice and friendly people and genuinely care about taking care of your problems.Stop looking and make an appointment, you wont regret it.

I saw Erin twice and she was so kind and knowledgeable! She was compassionate toward my situation, and walked me through what to expect my first time receiving acupuncture. She knew what treatment to give for my specific medical condition, and even sent me home with care I can do at home. I highly recommend her and the staff at Wise Wellness.

Very wonderful staff and comfortable atmosphere. They really took time to review the information from my doctors and explained the treatment plan and expectations. I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole visit.Google maps takes you to the next plaza . Its in Trestlewood, behind Re/Max by the pediatricians office.

I was at my wits end with a shoulder/back issue, so I decided to try acupuncture. I made an appointment, and I have had success with the treatment. I have had appts with Melissa, Erin, and Heba the massage therapist. They are all very knowledgeable and talented. Emily, at the front desk is extremely nice and helpful. Even though I went for my shoulder/back issue, an added bonus is the calm I feel after an appt. Thank you ladies! I highly recommend Wise Wellness Center!

Acupuncture with Melissa was a great additional therapy for my depression and anxiety! I also recently had a great experience with Erin for a sciatica flare. I recommend Wise Wellness to any friends/co-workers looking for alternative care!

I wish I knew before going there that their services cost you too much money and stress. Not good experience at all. She charged you $525 for only 30 minutes visit if your insurance is paying which she did not even tell me before service. She told me that her fees is $70-$75 but after services, she asked $525, can you believe it? Do not trust her words, she is just money minded, does not care how the treatment went? So I do not recommend Melissa for any type of acupuncture services. If you want to stay stress-free, stay away form this clinic.

Erin is the best at what she does.... She explains all the steps involved in the procedures. She then turns her attention to your pain and provides targeted pain relief!You cant ask for any better service!

Erin is fabulous!!! She hits all the motorpoints and other essential points without causing any discomfort. Her treatments relieve much of my pain for quite some time.

For many years I have suffered from chronic migrains and have tried just about everything to get relief. I recently started acupuncture treatments at Wise Wellness Center and have already seen an improvement in my pain. Melissa is very thourough and works to understand the underlying problems that are causing pain or various conditions. She also takes it a step further to educate me to make more informed decisions about my health that will result in a better quality of life. Melissa takes care in administering acupuncture treatments making it an enjoyable and relaxing experience, she is a board certified and experienced professional. The office is as pictured, it is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. If you are looking for quality treatment in the Kalamazoo area I would highly suggest Wise Wellness Center.

I received relief from leg injury symptoms after one treatment session; further sessions brought increased ease of movement. .. so grateful the the skillful experienced care I received!

Ive gone 3 times for help with TMJ relief, and the associated neck and shoulder pain that Ive dealt with for over 20 years. Ive not necessarily seen tons of improvement, though I can say my shoulders havent been as bad as they are typically. HOWEVER... at the last visit, I mentioned a hamstring knot that Ive had for over a year that is so unbelievably painful I couldnt even stretch it out. Ive tried everything - yoga, stretching, strengthening, tennis ball, massage, etc. She stuck 3 pins in it, and I can honestly say that I have not had this much relief EVER. The horrible sharp tight pain has been gone for 3 days, and it made me a true believer of the possibilities here. Super impressed and excited to continue.

This was my first time with acupuncture so I have no point of reference but Mrs. Toyoshima explained everything, has an impeccably clean center and after the painless needles were inserted it felt like water flowing inside. Like I said, first time and I have an old body that has a lot of baggage but I’m going back and I highly recommend this for anyone who has serious pain issues. Marge Frybarger, RN retired

Ive been going to wise wellness for a while now and have always been treated very well. Ive recovered mobility that I thought was gone for good. The pain I have, has been diminished greatly, which allows me to exercise and strengthen the wornout parts....oh yeah, Im a little bit old.....thanks ladies.....

I have had several surgeries since 2006& 2007 orthoscopic .2017 & 2018 Knee replacements .Also right arm surgeries 2010-2011&2012 -3 x on one arm. Then had surgeries on the neck. 2013.&2019.Then I have seen a doctor since 2013 for pain getting injections & epidurals in neck . Helped some of the time then Pain is back. My pt therapist suggested going to a Acupuncturist. So I googled and found Wise Wellness . I went there Millisa did the Accupuncture.I thought right this Is going to work. Wow Afterwords.I have no pain in neck & back & hip! 1 st time in years I woke up with No Pain!!I’m amazed she is a blessing!! Amazing!! Thanks so much Wise Wellness Centre Millisa.

THEY ARE SURELY IN OUTSTANDING HANDS WITH WISE WELLNESS FAMILY.GAINING CONTROL OF MY CHRONIC PAIN AND ASSOCIATED CONDITIONS HAS ALLOWED ME TO IMPROVE ALL ASPECTS OF MY PATH. THE WISE WELLNESS FAMILY HAS BEEN CRUCIAL TO LITERALLY SAVING MY LIFE.INITALLY THE THOUGHT OF HAVING AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF NEEDLES STUCK IN MY BODY WAS NOT THAT APPEALING. HOWEVER, WHEN YOUR CHRONIC PAIN IS SO BAD YOU WOULD TRY ANYTHING TO REDUCE IT!... I AM SO GLAD I DID. LIKE WITH EVERYTHING IN LIFE, I FEEL THERE IS ALWAYS A BALANCE OF PLEASURE AND PAIN. SOMETIMES WHEN THE NEEDLE IS INITALLY INSERTED YOU MAY EXPERIENCE A SMALL ELECTRICAL “ZAP LIKE” FEELING IN THAT AREA. YOUR MUSCLES WILL CONTRACT, BUT JUST AS FAST AS IT COMES, IT LEAVES. IF NOT THEY WILL REMOVE IT AND TRY ANOTHER SPOT INSTANTLY.THE MORE RELAXED YOU ARE THE LESS PAIN WITH POTENTIAL ZAPS YOU EXPERIENCE. ALSO, IT ALLOWS THE ACUPUNCTURIST TO SEE WHERE YOUR TRUE SOURCE OF PAIN IS. I WILL SAY I BELIEVE SOME OF MY WORST FEELING TREATMENTS WERE THE ONES THAT ACTUALLY INCREASED THE RATE AT WHICH I HEALED. SOMETIMES THESE TREATMENTS WOULD NOT SHOW ANY RELIEF UNTIL DAYS LATER, BUT CUMULATIVELY THEY LEAD TO A PATH OF FASTER RECOVERY IN CONJUCTION WITH OTHER HOLISTIC FORMS OF TREATMENTS.I LOOK FORWARD TO EXPLORING THE FURTHER BENEFITS OF ACUPUNCTURE WITH WISE WELLNESS AND OTHER HOLISTIC TYPES OF CARE.
