Dr. Johantgen always takes the time to not only ask questions, but to answer all my questions regarding my care. She makes sure that I understand my test results and pays attention when I’m talking, so that I feel both heard and seen. She has gone above and beyond; for example, she called me at home when she had concerns with my health that needed to be addressed. Also, after a minor surgery that required anesthesia, I received a hand-written note wishing me well that was signed by her and the entire surgical team. Dr. Johantgen Is knowledgeable, genuine and kind—everything I could ask for in a doctor. I find myself selfishly wishing she will never retire, because she will be impossible to replace. She’s a gem of a person!

Dr. Johantgen is always very professional and very friendly and personable. She makes sure you are all up to date with everything and gives suggestions if they are needed for you to have the best health possible. I appreciate the time and care she gives to her patients.

Dr. Johantgen is the most professional, knowledgeable, personal, friendly, comforting doctor, let alone person, I have ever met. I was referred to Kirsten for a procedure back 23 years ago and since I have chosen her as my OBGYN for the past 20 years and will continue to only see her until she retires. Amazing communication, very sensitive to my needs and concerns and has delivered c section one of my children, and I have had 3 operable procedures with her which have all resulted in positive outcomes. Dr K. Johantgen is one of the best doctors I have ever been to see! She makes me feel right at home, comfortable and safe. She explains everything to me in a fashion that when I walk out of her office, I know exactly whats going on with my body.

Dr. Johantgen is an amazingly kind and sensitive obgyn. I am going through the nerves and uncertainty of precancerous cells on my cervix and had a panic attack when she delivered the news.She rushed to get me juice and cookies and stayed with me until I was calm enough to hear more about the details. I feel safe in her hands.

Dr Johantgen, M.D is the best Gyn I have ever seen. Great bedside manner. Thoroughly explains everything and answers questions without being in a rush. She has been my Dr for almost 10 years. She has always taken me seriously and never brushed off something I was worried about.

She was very knowledgeable but I felt like she was talking down to me the entire time. She seemed almost annoyed and exasperated. She didn’t seem to think what I came in for was a big deal, even though it effects my life greatly.

She was very through and explained everything to me in terms that I could understand.
