Rapid City Obstetrics and Gynecology

I love coming here for all my lady things!!! I’ve never had a bad experience and both the nurses and doctors are kind and welcoming. The front desk ladies are nice too!I am disappointed in the turtle situation in the lobby though. You should never have more than one turtle in one tank. They will eventually kill each other and it will be brutal.. especially in a lobby of a business. There isn’t enough water in the tank, there isn’t proper lighting and the filtration isn’t adequate for even one grown turtle. I would love to educate the owner and help with a proper set up. I’ve owned turtles all of my life so I would consider myself educated. They aren’t an easy nor a cheap pet. Their quality of life is definitely lacking and that made me sad to see.

Dr Rochelle got offended and terminated me from the clinical Because she accused me not like her. Not only that they told me that I was anemic and lacking omegas in the office. Then reversed it that I don’t. Talk about malpractice diagnosis. They don’t believe that a patient has no rights in the office under the health care policy a patient has rights. She didn’t like that I was going to Canada to see my doctor. I told them that I don’t want surgery that I said no but they concluded to push. When patients said no respect their decision and not argue. I have drs in rapid city backs off after I say no. I never got respect as a patient. My rights as a patient was violated you do not share information to other dr. It’s says between a patient and doctor you do not spread it period. I will stand up for what’s right and what’s in the health care policy, I know psychology in and right.

Rochelle is amazing. She delivered both of my girls. She has always had a great bed side manor and is really thorough. She explains whats happening and why. She and her staff were exceptional when I had an ectopic pregnancy. They took care of me with great care. Unfortunately we moved to California and I havent found another doctor to her standard here. Shes a gem.

After years of pain and other doctors telling me to take birth control and we’ll see what happens; I made an appointment here. Yesterday, I shared my experience and pain and for the first time was taken seriously by the NPs and other staff. They listened and for the first time multiple things were found that were wrong. I found myself in tears multiple times because SOMEONE FINALLY LISTENED and I felt justified that the pain I had been walking around with for years was real.I am so thankful for the staff here and can not thank them enough for being compassionate and knowledgeable.

I have to say, that since moving to Rapid City a month ago, that this group of women is some of the nicest I have ever met on this planet.Granted, I am now employed by RCOB/G, and Brandy and I are the new Billing and Coding department.  We are continually improving this department and we will continue with the patterns of excellence that this office provides to our patients.To work with these three practitioners and their nurses have been a dream come true, and after working with numerous providers over the years, I am so impressed with the quality of care that this group gives to their patients.  The Office Manager, Kari, is absolutely amazing; hands down the best practice manager that I have ever encountered.  They go above and beyond anything I have previously witnessed.I am truly blessed to be a part of Rapid City OB/GYN and cant wait for others to get this feeling too!  :)

I had a bad experience here. I met with one of the NPs for my initial consult. There was a question of whether a simple procedure would be appropriate for me, and she said shed look into it and call my other provider, which sounded totally reasonable. She then communicated with their office in a way surprisingly sloppy, and after a miscommunication was made, no one was interested in correcting it. I went ahead and clarified things with my other provider, and communicated back to this office. The physician here,whom I did not meet in person, refused to perform my procedure as per my last conversation with their billing staff (I had some things with billing to clarify as well) based on this miscommunication. It was a relief in a way because I was worried about the risk of returning to this office which seems so disorganized and inflexible. Hope others have better experience than I did.

Staff and doctor was genuine and professional. I came to her seeking better OB care and she took my files reviewed them and discussed them over with me.I was told I would have 95% chance she will deliver me.The rest of the staff was just as attentive and no question went unanswered.So far my experience is going good.

I had a horrible experience here. Never have been to a gynecologist or had any procedures done. Didnt explain what they were doing or what things were. Was very ride and made it clear they only cared about money. Never going back I reccomend no one else dose either.

I found the nursing staff to be rude and unprofessional. Also Dr. Christianson doesn’t work on Fridays and wasn’t available to take calls and I was told there was no back up obstetrician gynecologists taking call for her which is a huge concern for this specialty. When I voiced my concerns and that I would be changing doctors her nurse made a rude comment and hung up on me.

Amazing doctor and surgeon. Recently had a laproscopic hysterecomy and the care was over the top that I have ever had any medical experience.
