I first started seeing Virginia Prior for acupuncture treatment when I was a dance major in college 20 years ago. As a dancer, I found her work to be intuitive, empathetic & effective for treating muscle pain & weakness. Now, I perform aerial arts professionally & still find her work to be phenomenal for promoting healing. She truly listens to your needs & genuinely cares for the health & well-being of her patients. I feel so fortunate to have found her as a practitioner and highly recommend her for your own healing journey!

It was a huge gift to find Dr. Prior during my fertility treatments. I had worked with another fertility acupuncturist in my previous attempts to have a baby, and proof is in the results: during the time with the other acupuncturist I did not have a baby (despite multiple attempts), but with Dr. Prior’s help, I got pregnant both times I tried and then carried both babies to term. She was recommended to me by the best IVF doctor in town, Andy Huang @ Reproductive Partners. Simply put, Dr. Prior is gifted. Her demeanor is perfectly calm and encouraging. If you’re looking for someone who has expertise in fertility acupuncture, look no more! You have found her.

Virginia is hands down the best acupuncturist I’ve ever seen. Before discovering Virginia, I had been experiencing an irregular cycle. For nearly one year, my doctor tried to resolve the problem to no avail. It only took a few weeks working with Virginia for my cycle to become regular again. She works close with doctors and is always knowledgeable and stays up to date on latest developments in health and wellness and medicine. She was always sharing intel on cutting edge approaches and new findings. Shes also a stand out human that works with integrity and listens closely and brings her full spirit to the work. It was always pain free with the needles and you could feel her experience in how she conducts herself. This is the kind of energy you want to huddle close to when youre trying to make life. Dr Prior was my very first experience with acupuncture and I would highly recommend her! I credit Dr. Prior for helping me to conceive both my kids in my 40s. She is empathetic, warm, and stays up to date with research studies and conferences. She’s knowledgeable and smart without being pushy. She guided both me and my husband over the course of years, was happy to suggest herbs and diet changes to help us both improve our health. Dr. Prior has a vast education at her craft which shows in her results. She is caring and gentle in her healing process which is greatly appreciated when you are in pain. I have been to many Doctors in my time and I have learned that care of any kind is two parts, one part knowledge and one part practice and Doctor Prior has both in my experience, I highly recommend her.

Ive been seeing Dr. Prior for 4+ years and her treatment expertise spans everything from fertility, facial rejuvenation, pregnancy-related ailments, stress and wellbeing...you name it. She strikes the right balance of being consultative, solution-and-results-oriented, and provides MUCH more outside of just acupuncture (herbs, supplements, diet, behavioral, fitness, etc) Shes been a critical part of my healthcare over the last several years and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone, for anything. I am so happy with my treatments with Dr.Prior, if I could give her more than 5 stars I would! I came in for back pain that I’ve had for several years, and the pain cleared up right away, in a few sessions. Way faster than physical therapy or chiropractic treatments. Treatment was easy and comfortable. Virginia makes you feel comfortable and she really listens to everything you say. She sees what might be the root of the issue. She really cares about you. The individual, compassionate treatment is top notch.One time, when I twisted my ankle, I saw actual evidence of how it might work! She put a needle in one part of my body and almost immediately my ankle jumped off of the table a little bit. The blood was flowing straight to the injury all of a sudden! My healing time was cut in half!This office is a gem, peaceful and comfortable, and easy to find. Easy parking and the location is clean, professional and open 24/7 so when I need to come in super late at night or early for last minute appointments it is never a problem!A friend of mine went to Virginia for cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation and she looks amazing! I would call it a non-surgical, natural face lift. I made my first appointment to try it! Naturally improve my skin? Sign me up. I will never do Botox and I will never do a toxic filler, so I am excited to see that there are improvements that can be done using this ancient Chinese method that I have already found to be pretty darned incredible.
