We are so incredibly grateful to Adoption Choices of Nevada for being a part of our familys story. They have been knowledgeable, thoughtful, and and transparent throughout our adoption journey. Adoption can be an emotional and complicated process for both waiting families and expecting mother alike; however, ACN was compassionate and supportive; not only for us, but much more importantly - our sons birth mother every step of the way. I cannot begin to recommend this agency enough, and hope that anyone considering adoption - whether they are a waiting adoptive family or an expectant mother to contact Adoption Choices of Nevada. I leave this review with the sincerest heartfelt thanks to them for making our family whole.

When it came time to build our family, we were referred to Adoption and Surrogacy Choices of Nevada for an opportunity. We already had one son through adoption. We quickly bonded with the entire staff who supported our entire journey but especially, Lainie, our adoption counselor. What I found most impressive was how they advocated for expectant parents, treating them with the upmost respect and going above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of throughout the entire process. Our experience was so much more than adopting a child, we got an extended family. And just four short years after finalizing, our sons biological family reached out once again in January 2022 to see if wed be willing to grow our family once again. This was all due to the great care and respect given to them by us and the agency.We now have three children (2 of them coming through Adoption and Surrogacy Choices of Nevada). Our life is full. From our first contact to our finalization, Adoption Choices of Nevada, was a JOY to work with in our process to adopt our son! Our social worker was professional, personable, and level headed in the midst of a very emotional (wonderful) time. When the first mom we were matched with decided to parent, she was supportive first of the birth family and also with us. We were so grateful that she was sensitive through the roller coaster of emotions from all around. The support of the cradle care was really wonderful as well-the home was clean and peaceful and we were able to stay as long as we wanted.As prospective adoptive parents, we felt supported and cared for through the whole process. We also watched our social worker interact with two birth moms. She was respectful of their needs, she was professional, and she was very kind. She was easy to reach by phone or text and kept us in the loop during our time in Reno.We were matched with another birth mom who had already relinquished her child. Our social worker arranged for this birth mom to meet us and see if we were the family for her child. I was impressed at the time at how Adoption Choices treated EVERYONE with dignity and respect. I am still (4 years later) impressed. I feel like we were heard, and it is my impression that both birth moms we were involved with felt that way as well.When the second birth mom decided we were the family for her son, it was a holiday and the agency was closed. Yet, instead of making us wait through the holiday weekend to meet our son, they came in very early and got all the paperwork in order so that we could meet our son as soon as possible! They went above and beyond to connect us to our sweet child.If we were to do the whole process over again, we would not change a thing. Adoption Choices of Nevada is a great agency!

It took us a bit of time to write this review as there really are no words to convey our appreciation and love for adoption choices of Nevada. The director Lainie truly cares about all members of the adoption triad. Having a director that truly cares trickles down to everyone who works for the agency. We really cannot thank Lainie enough for everything she has done for our family and the true appreciation we have for this agency. So grateful to you lainie for dropping everything when we needed you and hanging in there with us during all chapters of this journey.

Jo, Lainie, Coral, Faith and Erica were great. I am very glad and fortunate that we were able to work with them at Adoption Choices of Nevada. They operate with integrity and honesty. We went to several adoption agencies and can attest to the fact that they were the best one from both a cost and operational perspective. The profile that they provided for the birthmother who we were eventually matched with was professional, detailed, informative and complete. Lainie and Kristy of Adoption Choices of Nevada were amazing to work with! Both were always a phone call away and did what ever they needed to help. Lainie made sure all the paperwork went smoothly. Once in Nevada for the birth of our son Kristy was our main contact. She is amazing and definitely has a calling for this type of work!

We had an incredible experience with Adoption Choices. The process couldn’t have been any more seamless. Not only was it a perfect match, but the staff at Adoption Choices held our hand through every step of the process and answered every question we had.Learning about what adoption entails, what to expect, how to handle birth mother, and can be intimidating, to say the least. Never once did we feel like we were a bother to the staff.As a same-sex couple, we entered unchartered territory with adoption. The staff at adoption choices were our advocates, making sure our experience at the hospital and while finalizing was top notch.Having our first child was a life changing event, and it was handled as such. We are excited to start this journey as a family and are forever indebted to Adoption Choices for making it possible.

Once we were placed with the birth parents, the whole process went smoothly. The staff was very supportive of all of us. They are experienced, professional, and know how to handle all aspects of an adoption. Lainie and Meg were always available to offer support and handle our questions. The best choice is to go with a local, licensed agency like this one. Its hard work but really pays off in the end.

I can highly recommend this agency ! I used their help for surrogacy . I got all assistance I needed. Just great to work with !! Highly recommended.(It is now 2 years after the birth of my child , so I can definitely review it retrospectively over the whole process)

Update: we have since learned from mutual acquaintances between us and the birth mother that she had been preparing to back out of the adoption more than a month prior to the birth of the child, and during that whole time, whenever we noticed what should have been obvious warning signs that she was planning on keeping the child and not following through with the adoption, Adoption Choices continued to sing a happy song about how everything was normal and there was nothing to worry about. These people are incompetent at best, dishonest and lacking integrity or morals at worst. I would expect any competent, honest, and moral social worker in that situation to at least discuss with us and the birth mother the warning signs that she was backing out rather than pretending everything was great when it wasnt, but that was too much to ask for from Adoption Choices apparently.Original post: The most damning thing I can say about them came from their own mouths, after our adoption failed their exact words were most parents weve worked with in your situation feel this way. Just how many failed adoptions do they have that they can make a statement like that?We already knew the birth mother, and it was obvious that because we already knew the birth mother short cuts were taken, no effort was taken to prepare us for the process, minimal effort was taken to prepare the birth mother. A years old friendship was destroyed and we were left emotionally and financially devastated with nothing but an empty crib to show for it. The main redeeming quality I can say for them, and why they got two stars instead of one, is because Maire at least had the decency to waive the failed adoption fee (seriously, the fact that the contract even had a failed adoption fee should have been a massive red flag for us).Honestly, I might consider giving this agency another chance in the future, but I would (and I would recommend if you use them you do too) definitely double check that every i is dotted and t crossed and check for myself that corners arent cut.
