Dr. Randal J. West, MD

Dr. Randall West was my surgeon recently and I cannot recommend him enough. My husband and I were so impressed with him, from the start, to the finish. Wonderful bedside manners, kind and caring too! He truly cares. Thank you, Dr. West. I now know why you were so highly recommended by my OBGYN.

This post is late. I thought I provided my review post surgery. Im coming up on a year since my surgery May 2023. It was the best decision I made for my health. Dr. West and staff were amazing throughout the entire process. I met him many years ago regarding the fibroids, however I was in a different head space and made every excuse to avoid him and the surgery - FEAR! Grateful that I went through it.Hopefully the reviews will help anyone contemplating deciding on the next steps. Dr. West is the best!!!!🙏🏾🙌🏾

Dr. West has been my oncologist for 12 years. He is very knowledgeable , takes time to answer questions without making me feel feeling rushed & he genuinely cares for his patients. I highly recommend Dr. West.

Lets start at Im a worry wort always been anxious and what if this or that . Doctor Randal West didnt ever rush me or make me feel like I was a burden. He treated me with the upmost respect his bed side manner is awesome. He knows what he is doing

Dr. West and his surgical team are a God send! It is so much easier to heal with the new da vinci procedure that they use! I am thankful!!

Dr West was so kind and reassuring when I saw him before having surgery. He did an amazing job with my surgery as I had little to no pain after. There is a reason people say he is the best.

Dr. West.. Is truly an amazing doctor he is very attentive to his patience he also explains everything in detail and if you have any questions he welcomes you to ask them. And his entire staff their they all make you feel comfortable while dealing with what you have to be there for. They all try to make sure your comfortable as you can be and their is no questions that are stupid always ask anything you have on your mind. And Dr. Wesrs bedside manner is top notch he makes sure all his patience are taken care of.i have been seeing him for over 2 years and I wouldnt change anything about what he has been doing for my care plan.

Dr. West and his team were extremely kind and compassionate throughout my entire surgical process. Each appointment prior to surgery was timely and informative and I never felt rushed. On the day of my surgery everyone was comforting and put me at ease about the process. Dr. West’s smiling face and confidence let me know that everything would be ok. I hope to never have to visit him again for anything other than a follow-up appointment, however if I do, I trust that I will be in great hands!

Dr. West was phenomenal for my surgery. Im so glad that the specialist that I saw before him, referred me TO him. I was terrified, but the recovery went exactly as anticipated and you can barely tell that I ever had surgery today.Hopefully I wont have to again, but IF I did, Id be hesitant to trust someone else after the standard that he set.

I love him he is a awesome surgeon and he cares about his patients. His staff you can get in contact with at anytime because they will call you back if they are busy. This man will put your mind at ease because he really explains to you what he have to do and what to expect. His character and attitude is wonderful and he cares about his patients. I will definitely use him again.

I just had surgery this Tuesday to have fibroids and a cyst removed. Dr. West performed the surgery and did an excellent job. From the very first time that I saw him for my consultation appointment up until when he came to talk to me right before the surgery he has been the best! He makes you feel comfortable and is very personable. I was nervous about the surgery and the recovery! It is day 3 from surgery and I feel good!!!! I highly recommend Dr. West and his staff at the office and surgery staff!!

I have been going to Dr.West for years. I trust him completely. He is not afraid to talk to other Doctors before doing a procedure. In other words he gets a second opinion. He and his staff are pleasant and efficient. His team will help you understand what you will be expecting. I could go on......

Im sitting at home the morning after my hysterectomy and cant help but feel blessed to have been guided to this wonderful doctor. His demeanor instantly puts you at ease. He looks you straight in the eye when speaking to you. He is the doctor you want to take care of you Just amazing! I cant say enough about him.

I met him when he came into my mother room to assess her conditions. I wasnt sure about him at first but wow was I wrong. He is just wonderful and I mean wonderful. The surgery was hard but he brought her through it and all of my mothers follow-up have been monitored by him. He takes the time to explain things to you when you just dont understand. My mother is still in her winning fight but he has been with her and us the entire time. His staff are just as caring as he and especially the chemo nurses. They stay on point with her treatments and medication. Even the office manager shows a caring nature towards the patients and their family needs. My mother just love Dr. West and so does her family. As for me, I prayed for guidance that heartbreaking day and night and then walked Dr. West. I am grateful

Dr. West is absolutely the best. Dont let his good looks and charisma fool you. He is confident, yet very humble, knowledgeable, and caring. He and his staff are empathic and caring. Very patient first oriented practice. Dr. West has the bedside manner of a nurse. I was blessed to have him as my OB/GYN. He did my hysterectomy and 3 follow up surgeries (severe endometriosis). He calmed my fears about losing my sister after a hysterectomy. My family and I give him our highest regards!!

Compassionate care from Dr. West and all in his office. There was never a question I called to ask that they werent happy to answer. Dr. West worked with me through two surgeries and always assured me when I would get anxious, we are going to get you fixed!. I cannot recommend him highly enough. A true professional.

I just moved to Richmond from NJ. And I normally dont write reviews. But I felt compelled to write this about Dr. West. He is The REAL DEAL. Great Bedside Manner, Patient and Emphatic. I was referred to him and so Glad that I went to see him. I had such a good feeling when I left his Practice. The Staff is Professional as well.

Dr. West and his staff are truly awesome! I’ve been seeing him for nearly ten years for follow up visits since having ovarian cancer. Truly passionate and easy to talk to. Highly recommended!!!

I can not speak highly enough of Dr. West and the staff at his practice. If you’re looking for the most excellent and compassionate care possible from a healthcare provider and care team, his practice is the gold standard. The office is beautiful, comfortable and accessible and the entire staff from the very moment you step through the door have the exact compassion and care you should expect and deserve to help you navigate through a stressful medical situation.

I have been with Dr. West for 20 years, see him every six months and I would never switch to anyone else. He is compassionate, smart, listens to concerns and a great human being. I trust him totally. He and I are growing old together.

Honestly, I feel completely blessed to have made the connection with Dr. West. I had a huge cyst removed and his level of professionalism will be hard to match in the medical community. He was always so caring, patient and kind. All of that aside, he knows what he is doing. I have a couple of friends who also see him and we all feel the same.
