Planned Parenthood - St. Cloud Health Center

Don’t know how they even legally can charge me for services. I drove 2.5 hours to go to this location since there are no other planned parenthoods near me, to get a IUD for emergency contraception, which is an option PER THE PLANNED PARENTHOOD WEBSITE. I could tell they immediately didn’t want to help me & the the doctor very quickly refused to give me the IUD saying ”I didn’t meet the criteria.” I asked why & she said “we just have an algorithm & you don’t qualify”, I questioned further why I didn’t qualify & what criteria I was missing, because their website states this service is an option. She just keep saying “you just don’t qualify”, so I was refused service & was billed over $100 on top of the already traumatic situation I had been thru which was why I was needing this help to begin with. I went to a public health clinic the next day & got an IUD no problem so not sure what the lady had against me but 10/10 would never recommend this location to anyone.

I really liked this clinic. I could book an appointment online and it was super easy to check in. All of the nurses and doctors were super nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are occasionally protesters outside the location, but they pretty much just gossip in a circle. Still, if youre nervous about getting attacked, you can carry pepper spray. Mostly not a big deal though, especially if you go in early. Location has plenty of parking.

The women here are very nice and sweet they answer all your questions with great responses and good with small talk. the procedure i had was fast and they handled it with great caution. i definitely loved the experience i had here.

These guys are incredible and supportive. Ive been going to Planned Parenthood for about two decades. Theyve been the only healthcare Ive been able to afford to see in many years, and I am grateful for them.

60 min on the phone waiting for them to pick up when waiting time was 10 min
