Dr. Veronikis performed my very involved pelvic surgery 3 years ago. I had multiple prolapses, absent perineum, and stress incontinence that needed fixed. He also performed a vaginal hysterectomy at the same time. I’ve waited to review to see how I’m doing a bit down the road. 3 years later, I can say that he did a wonderful job on my repairs. I’m so glad that he steers clear of mesh, was reassured knowing that he fixes the mistakes of other doctors in this field, and felt 100% confident in his skills. I recommend him to every woman I meet who needs this type of surgery. My only regret is that I wish I’d further explored fixing my issues without a hysterectomy, as I’m now in ovarian failure at 39. But..that was my own decision. I highly recommend Dr. V if you are looking for a knowledgeable doc to see you through a tough surgery with top notch skills, the latest research/methods, and years of experience. At 3 years post surgery, I have no complaints, no new prolapses, and virtually no pain. I’m so thankful to have found him before using another doctor who likely would have given me more issues down the road.

I had surgery with Dr. Veronikis in August of 2023, and I couldnt be happier that I did! After 3 children, I was left with urinary leakage that I was beginning to think I would just have to live with. I couldnt run or jump without having to change my pants. It made it very hard to play with my children and try to keep up with them. As a nurse working 12 hour shifts, I would have to wear pads in case I had to sneeze. I would even leak during intercourse, which made me not even want to get intimate with my husband. My only regret about the surgery is not having done it sooner! Since my surgery, I have lost 50 lbs, now that I am able to run and exercise again. My sex life has never been better. Dr. Veronikis is a genius, and I am so glad I chose to trust him with my surgery! The office staff is wonderful. He always made me feel comfortable at my appointments, and you can tell he really loves what he does and loves being able to help women. Thank you Dr. Veronikis for giving me my life back!

Great job removing mesh from two bladder temp air surgeries, bladder prolapse repaired and hysterectomy. Now I’m pain free.

Never met a more professional person in any profession in my life. Having been told by numerous so called experts in the UK that my wife was beyond help we started to explore the option of seeking advice overseas. After extensive research we came to the conclusion that Dr Veronikis is the expert in his particular field. We flew out to meet him. He made more sense to me in the first 3 minutes of our first chat than the combined UK “experts” had in hours and hours of consultation. Dr V. Told us exactly what he planned to do, how he planned to do it and what the likely outcome would be. He made it sound like the operation he was about to perform was easiest thing in the world (we know full well that it wasn’t) he filled us with confidence and on the day of the operation he delivered 100% and we are genuinely unable to thank him enough for his efforts.Doctor V. Highly recommend Dr. Veronikis! I recently had surgery and felt confident from my first consultation that everything would be fine. Dr. Veronikis explained the surgery thoroughly and answered my questions with confidence. The surgery and recovery went great. After recently having my 6 week post op appointment, I can say again that all my questions were answered and I was thrilled to get an all clear from the surgery. He is a very dedicated and skilled surgeon who cares about his patients, he makes sure to see you before you are released from the hospital after surgery. His office staff was also great every step of the way, very friendly and personable as well.

I feel that Dr. Veronikis is only interested in surgery. Two minutes after entering the examining room, after no tests and sticking his hand up me, he said, Overactive bladder. He gave me a prescription for pills and that was the extent of the exam. Im glad that others who had surgery are so much better but I have had a year of unpleasant experiences. I had surgery last week and a permanent procedure is scheduled for next week. I hope that this whole experience is behind me. I will never recommend him.

Dr. Veronikis was confident and thorough. His staff is friendly, made me feel comfortable, extremely responsive, and willing to answer any questions, big or small.

I just read the reviews. He must have truly changed from 2002. He did a vaginal sling on me. I never had any incontinence prior. It cause bladder leakage. I was told my another doctor that the mesh was too low and the bladder behind it didnt empty properly. Not only that...but, I can not have the mesh removed without permanently being incontinent. Also, at the time of the surgery, he offered a mini tummy tuck. Awful! Incision didnt heal, dog ears on each side of incision, nerves cut - cant feel my stomach and totally destroyed my navel. Had to have second surgery to repair the incision. Then, had to pay a plastic surgeon to remove the dog ears. Good luck!

My hero! Dr. Veronikis is definetly the best Dr around. If your suffering from a bladder sling complication do not look anywhere else. If you want a Dr that is compassionate , caring , that actually listens to you, spends time going over all your options, explains everything in detail and answers ALL your questions he is the man. He removed my entire bladder sling that was causing severe pain in one surgery ! I cannot thank him enough.

I am still recovering from my surgery from 6/17/16 but I knew when I woke up things were going to be so much better. Prior to seeing Dr. Veronikis, I had lost all quality of life, lived in constant excruciating pain and exhaustion and took loads of medications that made me less than productive. I dont know how many lost work days Ive had because I quit counting after the first year of battling even the common cold for 2 weeks! Coming off all that medication prior to surgery was tough....Tylenol/Advil/Aleve did little to numb my pain, so by the morning of surgery, I was past ready for whatever drugs they would give me just to get some relief!! When I woke up from surgery, first thing I noticed was that my hips were NOT hurting, my body felt released almost....I cant explain how good just not feeling pain felt. Yes I was sore and tender from the surgery but that was nothing compared to the pain Id lived with for so long. Dr. Veronikis and his entire team treated me with every level of human courtesy and respect. From the preop checkin, to the day of surgery, nothing was stressful for me as his patient. While I continue to heal its now been 8 weeks off of all my medications, no pain, some mild discomfort from the surgery but nothing unbearable. I consider that to be a success in its own right but more so that as I continue to heal, I know that Dr. Veronikis was who I needed to put me back together to feel whole and like a 48 year again, not an 84 year old waiting to pass on!! Thank you is not enough to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Veronikis and his team!!

A simple “Thank You” could never express how grateful I am for Dr.Veronikis and his expert surgical skills! From the very first phone call I was assured he not only believed I was in pain, he understood my pain and the related issues. Dr. Veronikis’s wonderful compassion and bedside manner brought me comfort and peace in a time when I only felt pain and despair! In my search for relief, two Doctors had no idea of how to help, a third doctor refused to see me, and the fourth said nothing was wrong. After only speaking with me on the phone, he acquired the exact type of sling that had been placed in me so he could show it to me and explain what would need to be done to remove it. During my first visit to his office, Dr. Veronikis took the time to listen and get a thorough understanding of what I was experiencing! He then confidently and compassionately explained what he could do to help ease my pain. Without his skillful surgical talents, my life would still revolve around the unbearable pain compounded by the despair of having no one to turn to for help. Although I will never be pain free, Dr. Veronikis has given me back my life in so many ways. He will forever hold a special place in my heart.

This surgeon is the absolute best. What can I say? He helped me after a very exhaustive trip around theU.S.His skill set is incomparable to any surgeon Ive met to date. And get this, the gentleman cares. A rare find in this day and age.Hes very busy now, because of his skills. Give him time, dont try to wing-it with a specialist thats never even done an explant of any kind.Ask him questions, many, many questions, and you may, or may not like the answers, but theyre always honest.He is the only surgeon to have successfully removed devices not meant to be removed.Integrity, skill, and a good bedside manner. Extremely professional, as is the staff that works with him.I could wax poetic, go on and on. Dr Veronikis is the best in his field. He performed a urithral sling removal that was implanted by a previous Dr incorrectly and another Dr attempted to release but it all caused nothing but complications and pain for my wife. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else if you require any type of female surgery including anything urological go to Dr Veronikis and save yourself time, money, frustration and pain. He is the absolute best at what he does.

Dr. Veronikis did my bladder surgery. He is wonderful. I also was an OR scrub nurse that worked with him and know for a fact he is the best Surgeon in his field.

Dr Veronikis is a highly experienced mesh removal surgeon. He is sought after by women who have mesh complications, from all over the world. I cannot give this surgeon enough praise. I speak from personal experience and I know many women in Australia and New Zealand who want Dr Veronikis to come to Australia to remove their mesh. I hope this can be achieved.

There are people that cross your path through a life time that you can count on one hand. Dr Veronikis is a highly skilled surgeon who LOVES what he does . The compassion which he shows every patient is individualized, not a tread mill mentality. To find an individual who is an artist, athlete, and love of his trade is so rare that you wish you could patent his heart and love of medicine.

I am able to have sex with my husband now without debilitating pain...which by the way...he REALLY appreciates! LolI do not have the horrible constant pain I had prior to removal. I wouldnt have imagined going through the pain and suffering that we mesh sufferers have gone through and are still going through. The pain I was in prior to mesh removal was unbearable, Dr Veronikis saved my life, my marriage and my quality of life. Though I may never be pain free in this lifetime, I am able to live and get through the day. He is passionate about his career and cares about his patients. I had to get surgery after having a child. My baby was 6 days old. I spent several days in the hospital, but he made sure i got quality surgery and got home to my baby boy as soon as possible

He was the only doctor who would listen. He saved my mothers life by removing the mesh that was causing her body fail. I dont know what she would of done without him. Please keep teaching other doctors your vast knowledge.

Dr Veronikis is the best. He removed the mesh that has caused me extreme pain for many years. Other doctors said this could not be done, and refused to help me. He has given me my life back.

Cut my bowel during hysterectomy. Had to wait 6 months and several tests later with a new surgeon, and Dr. Veronikis refused to reimburse me.
