Planned Parenthood - Little Canada Health Center Rice Street

Hate to give PP a not great review but I called to give them feedback and they were kind of dismissive. Maybe go to a different location.They have radios in the rooms and I asked for mine to be turned off because it was distracting. I was told this is because you can hear apportionments through the walls. I asked why a medical facility doesn’t have walls where private information can be exchanged and the response I got was “you can hear through the walls anywhere, like through the curtain if you go to the ER.” 1. Planned Parenthood is not an ER 2. I’ve never been able to hear through the walls at at any other clinic I’ve been to.My appointment for something very routine took and hour and half and I was told “no it was only and hour after you got checked in” I was there before my appointment time and wasn’t checked for awhile due to a back up at the front desk.My provider has long nails. Which is not great for providing gyno services and you think that would be common sense. Also she wasn’t wearing gloves while she prepped some of the tools🤢 I shared this and was told “she’s new”. I’ve never had any medical training but I’d wear gloves to get things ready and have short nails if I was going to be up in peoples bodies so I would’ve thought this would’ve been covered at whatever school my provider went to or at least at PP new hire orientation or something.

They are extremely kind and very helpful. If you’re unsure about anything, they will explain anything to you very thoroughly. Genuinely one of the places i’ve been to.

Front desk lady rescheduled myAppointment without warming me. Claimed she called my phone but no voicemail was left or no missed call. She called an old number that hasn’t been used for over a year. Even though my number in the portal is updated. the night prior I received a phone call CONFIRMING my appointment. And this is the second time they have cancelled or rescheduled my appointment without notice even with being on time. Don’t waste your time. I recommend the Minneapolis location instead.

Wow. The care here is amazing. My nurse Sean was so helpful and supportive in my health journey and advocated my care more than I could have ever asked. I left with resources and all the care I needed. 120/10 stars

Staff was very polite and informative. The clinicians/doctor I had were very nice! They made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions.

Great first time experience at Planned Parenthood - Rice Street. From beginning to end, I felt very understood and cared about. The scheduler saved my butt and was able to squeeze me in same day, and I was able to get what I needed and get out within the hour. Both the nurse and provider was kind, answered all of my questions, and I felt no judgement whatsoever from anyone at the clinic. I cant imagine a future without Planned Parenthood, and I hope we never see the day! THANK YOU PP!

I recently went to this location to get the arm implant birth control. I had never been to a Planned Parenthood before and had been nervous about going to a health facility that specialized in sexual health. It turned out that I had nothing to worry about because the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My decision to have an implant and even my interest in a future sterilization were heard and respected. I would recommend this location to anyone who is wishing to obtain a contraceptive.

Just had an appointment with Dr Pearlman. She and the rest of the staff are super kind and informative. Highly recommend

This was my first time at planned parenthood and I have no complaints! The staff were incredibly kind and professional. I felt comfortable to ask any questions as they came up.

All the staff here are awesome and they know what they’re doing! Went in for annual exam and pap. My nurse and NP were great and walked me through all the procedures, and made me feel comfortable and safe!

Staff was amazing and they took such good care of me as I was getting my IUD. Each step they made me feel so welcomed. Going to come here more often! Thank you!

Staff was great but the doctor was short, dry & did not connect very well. I will still go back bc it’s conveniently located but I’ll ask for a different doctor.

The doctor I saw was so conscending and refused to give me the care I asked for. I had to carry around worry for an extra week until I saw my primary doctor who gave me the care I asked for.They dont respect you and make you feel very unvalidated. I have heard other horror stories that are worse than mine. Dont go here.

Doctors here are so wonderful, they manage to make your appointments enjoyable and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting.

Worst experience ever, appointment was at 11:30 and had to wait until 1 to be seen. If I had known, I would have booked it at that time.

They take every major insurance plan. If only everywhere did that.
