Planned Parenthood - St. Peters Health Center

This location really needs to be better about updating their business hours. I just stopped by because it says they’re open yet I walk up to a ‘Closed’ sign and a pice of paper with tiny text with the hours BASED ON THE MONTH? I need to give important information and I now have to fit that in with my overly busy week…

My girlfriend and I have been on hold for 2 hours. All we need is to get a prescription sent from an appointment we had a week ago, why is everything so slow?

Im a little late on posting this review, but I have nothing but great things to say about this clinic! This was the first GYN to actually take my concerns seriously. I was also able to get a referral for my bi salpingectomy surgery without judgment or pushback. All of the staff that works at this location are super helpful and personable!

I have never felt discriminated against until being in this medical office. Was told there were no appointments available so I would have to wait for an opening or cancellation, ok. While sitting a man came in and didnt have his mo em, he was offered several appointment times available that day for him to reschedule. I was given a look while she did this just to show me I didnt meet the criteria for their services. Will never be coming back to this place.

Terrible service did not call me to tell me i needed to reschedule until I was already there 30 min away due to their provider. But kept confirming my appointment via text till the morning of horrible horrible service. Mean staff. Taking it lightly like i didnt just waste my time and gas to do nothing! Despicable !

They’re slow as molasses! I wasn’t able to be seen during my last appointment due to my long wait and of course I had an appointment. When I called back to try to make another appointment to avoid missing my window for my birth control, the rep wasn’t very helpful or showed no regard. I basically missed my window. Their other location is far but they’re much better than this location off hwy 40. The receptionist here is super slow which makes the process extremely annoying. Won’t be back!!

Idk why so many people have had such a horrible experience. Everyone is super nice and I never have had a problem at this location. I will definitely recommend this location to anyone. You also don’t get hounded by those people standing outside when you pull in like the other locations. Anything that I do when I come here is my business and not someone standing outside business. I hate that. But love this location for everything! Thanks for all the hard work you all do. You’re truly amazing!

I’m literally just trying to get my expired birth control taken out of my arm. Been calling to make an appt since NOVEMBER!! I can’t even book the appt online per the online website is either broke or they don’t allow me to make an appt at the only one near me online I have to call! But when I call I’m waiting to talk to some one for literally over 30 mins each time I call so I just end up hanging up and trying to book online. Like this is ridiculous, YALL put this in my arm AND I WANT IT OUT ITS UNCOMFORTABLE AND EXPIRED AND GETTING PAINFUL

Ive moved around a lot and so Ive been to at least 5 different Planned Parenthoods throughout MO. This is the worst one. My first appointment with this location was in 2015. The front desk staff was really unfriendly, making me stay outside in the vestibule in 20 degree weather until it was exactly 9:01 before letting me in. I understand youve got things to get done before business opens but as someone who is also in the medical industry, I know you dont leave patients literally out in the cold.Unfortunately I had a time restraint this year and limited options so I once again went to this location. Staff was just as unfriendly (the nurses were really nice however) and didnt know how to process my insurance. They just said they would figure it out and after an hour wait, I got to go back. Another hour later which consisted of maybe a five minute talk with the nurse practitioner, asking do you want to keep the same pills? This location for the RX? Ok, bye. They did figure out my insurance in the end- they sent me a bill for the whole thing in the mail months later. Insurance is tricky, but having a common practice of informing patients on whether you take their insurance is kind of important.Ive always been supportive of Planned Parenthood; Ive gone there for my yearlys the past 10, but this location is the absolute worst.

This was my first time going in and the lady at the front desk was quite rude at some moments, but the nurse and nurse Practitioner was awesome! I was thinking that I would get a little bit of a lower price for the visit for being unemployed and living on $200 but other than that they were amazing. Expect to wait though.

Takes a long time to see anyone. Pretty expensive. I paid over 200 for a well woman exam and medications while earning minimum wage. Fast forward to me forwarding my medical records from here to my PCP and they said they never performed a pap on me. I know they did because it was THE most painful one Ive ever had in my life. Nurses were very helpful but the RN was incredibly dismissive and rude.

Every time I come in I am left waiting in an exam room for 45 minutes or more. At this moment my appointment was at 5pm. I was shown to my room at 5:18pm. It is now 6:10pm and they close at 7....All I need is my birth control pill prescription filled. I am currently looking for a new facility as we speak; while still waiting for this doctor..

So VERY disappointed with my first and ONLY visit with planned parenthood. Scheduled a pap for my yearly check up, waited 30 minutes in the waiting room and then was told I couldn’t get my exam because they only do them every three years. This information would have been helpful before I wasted my tome coming in and I think it’s ridiculous to refuse an exam that my insurance pays for.

This is by far the worst facility ever! Now granted I never like to write bad reviews however I cant help but to when the services are just that awful. I kid you not you could literally have come in to ask a question and you are going to face a wait. Everything done here is done in slow motion and is very unprofessional. I just witnessed a nurse hold up urine cup to a patient to utilize through the main window not come through a door but held it up in the window. As another viewer stated nothing here is done in a private matter everyone in here hears your business through the walls and the gossip from the employees. Both times I visited this location I could hear other peoples personal reasons for their visits. I called this place first thing in the morning when they opened and the lady put the order in for my meds I get here after the time to make sure they have had it ready to my surprise its not. This place is a joke nothing but a bunch of rude gossiping unprofessional people I refuse to continue to give them my money and my business.

Today was my first time coming to this location I Walked in to pick up birth control didnt know i had to pay $103 for the birth control. Anyway i was tryna see why the price was that price and the lady responded with..you can either keep doing what you are doing or pay for the birth control... that statement PISSED me off! I felt that was unprofessional and lack of respect to the client. I will never come back to this location again

They told me the appointments doesnt have any cost and months later I received medical bills. They say they help people with low income but then you have this disgusting surprises.

The staff is friendly, but oh my God I dont think they could go any slower. I made a 9:40am appointment and didnt get seen by the doctor until after 11 oclock. This is ridiculous. They need to make less appointments and/or not accept walk ins.

Everyone with staff was really friendly. My nurse was really great. I did get in later than expected so expect a little longer wait but other than that it was great

I was just up there at 4:05 on Tuesday, online it said they were open and the doors were locked this place is always closed every time I go up there and I’m going on business hours this place is terrible and there never there.

Incredibly friendly and professional staff, make you feel comfortable talking about your personal health. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who could use the variety of services offer

Excellent and fast service! Was able to pick up bc in 15 minutes over the counter. Very lovely woman who assisted me!

Why does no one answer the phone here? I call, and call, but no answer. Do they not know how to pick it up? What is going on?
