Dr. Daniel F Rychlik MD, FACOG

I am a teacher with a masters degree in education. I just want to warn anyone with fertility issues to find another doctor. He told me to stop medication far before we should have and we lost our baby because he is incompetent. Before stopping the medication I was hesitant, and even asked if he was sure. He told me yes. 2 days later I miscarried. I saw 3 other doctors after the miscarriage and they told me the hormones were stopped way too soon. Please do not go to him.

Dr.Rychlik and his staff are absolutely amazing. His new office is beautiful and always clean, the receptionist was always so helpful with scheduling me because between my work schedule and living an hour and a half away I had to come in certain days/times. The nurses, ultrasound techs and everyone I came encountered with did a great job at explaining things to my husband and I. Most importantly they always made me feel comfortable! If it weren’t for Dr.Rychlik we would’ve had to go through different fertility treatments to conceive. I had been to countless doctors and no one could figure out why I wasn’t getting pregnant. Dr.Rychlik took the time to look over all my test and blood closely and found the cause to my infertility. Within 3 months we were able to make changes in my life and now I’m pregnant! I can’t thank Dr.Rychlik and his staff enough for everything they did for my little family.

I cannot recommend Dr.Rychlik highly enough! He is an outstanding RE who is at the cutting edge of his field. Hes a straight shooter, with a great sense of humor. He is thorough and thoughtful, always taking the time to explain everything and always available for questions or concerns. I went through IVF and surgery with him, and never once did my trust waiver. He was totally invested in our care. His team at SCRC is also exceptional, and we felt taken care of every step of the way. We were ultimately successful with Dr.Rychlik, but even if we werent I would still recommend him one hundred percent.

Amazing listener and super compassionate. What can I say about the man who helped us finally have a baby after trying for so many years? Dr. Rychlik helped us when no one else could. He explained everything so clearly to me and my husband, and I always felt like he really cared. I didnt feel like he wanted to push us into IVF like some others doctors sometimes do. He clearly loves his job. I cant rave enough about Dr. Rychlik!

Dr. Rychlik was wonderful, helping us through the fertility treatment process and ultimately helping us conceive through IUI. Were grateful to him and his wonderful staff who were extremely supportive and encouraging throughout the process, and plan to return to him in the future (for baby #2) if needed.

Great doctor. Dr. Rychlik knows his medicine. He’s thorough, doesn’t believe in unnecessary interventions and keeps up to date on the most relevant research in this field. He explains his approach. He educated along the way. He’s laid back. And he does what’s best for each patient, individually. He’s THE doc to go to and trust for fertility in Santa Barbara and surrounded areas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My husband and I had an amazing experience there. Dr Rychlik and the staff were wonderful, super nice. When my husband and I didnt have any hope of having a family Dr Rychlik gave us the assurances we could start a family in a matter of time. We definitely recommend him to anyone having troubles starting a family.

Very patient and kind. Was a great listener. He listened to me tell my story and basically diagnosed my problem within a few minutes. I saw three other doctors before him, all of whom wanted me to do a bunch of unnecessary and expensive tests. He knew right away what the issue was. Dont waste your time going anywhere else - Dr. Rychlik is the best.

Horrible ! Destroyed our embryos without asking, that was their word...destroy. Laughed and joked asking how our weekend was when we called him Over the weekend to say we had miscarried, was only Monday so 2 days later and he had already forgotten and then told us how he had a good golf game that weekend.Worst doctor ever so glad he moved out of Arizona!

It says hes an OB but he is not! I made an appointment a week in advance, i told the receptionist I need an OB and we agreed on a time and day. I called that morning to make sure I had the right address, and they had no record of my appointment after I took the day off of work. They said they could get me in at a different time so I took it. I drove down to his office I get there fill out all the paperwork just to meet the doctor for him to tell me hes not an OB. I know I didnt have the wrong doctor either I asked the receptionist to repeat his name and spell it so I could write it down. Complete waist of my day, time and money.

Treated us very coldly, obviously in it for the money (has a tendency to charge $250 for unnecessary 5-10 minute consultations), and totally mishandled the hormones during our IVF cycle according to three other doctors, which may explain why we ended up with a miscarriage.

Unprofessional and liar. I regret trusting him. Treats his patients like his old days slaves. Only cares about money and disrespectful to his patients. And the procedure he did failed.

Unprofessional, unskilled, and not recommended. He previously had a practice in Scottsdale AZ that he literally abandoned. Avoid his practice and save yourself the trouble.
