My husband I are both going to Ballard Acupuncture Center and we are seeing miraculous improvements in our pain and inflammation levels. I just had major surgery and the difference in my recovery using acupuncture has been stunning. Hubs is also reporting stunning improvements just hours after a treatment. We feel very lucky to have Ballard Acupuncture as part of our health care team.

I cannot say enough good things about Avigail and Ballard Accupuncture Center. I am currently pregnant, and setup an appointment for extreme prenatal anxiety at the recommendation of my Doula. Treatment from Avigail has been instrumental in regaining control of my anxiety and feeling balanced and empowered in my pregnancy. It has truly made all the difference. It is abundantly clear that Avigail has a deep expertise in pregnancy and womans health, and she also has a caring and compassionate bedside matter. I look forward to every appointment with her and feel so fortunate to have found her. I am even convincing my husband to go for his own treatment!

If I could rate Ballard Acupuncture Center over 5 stars I would. Avigail Cohen helped me with my chronic pelvic pain, menstrual pain, and anxiety. Ive been to multiple acupuncturists in the past but have never experienced a provider asking such in depth questions each week to personalize my care. Avigail not only gave me acupuncture treatments but discussed lifestyle changes and herbal remedies to create a more holistic and all-encompassing approach. I experienced empathetic care from all staff members and greatly enjoyed my time.

I have been seeing Avigail for years now and would definitely recommend this cozy place! I initially came in looking for anxiety relief and her demeanor and attentiveness immediately made me feel comfortable and taken care of. Time is taken to get to know her patients, keep ongoing notes and do progress checks to monitor my wellness. Since May of 2022 I have had horrific pain in my neck due to severe arthritis. After several months of dealing with this pain I thought I would try acupuncture. I was desperate because nothing else seemed to work. So far, I have had five sessions and now I have been pain free for nine days in a row. I am so grateful and relieved. When I walked in the door for the first time I was so taken away by the atmosphere and customer service. The facility is so beautiful and inviting. Im SO GLAD that I happened to find this clinic—it was the first one I called, and I adore it. Avigail Cohen is so wonderful—you can tell she really cares about her patients and whats going on in their lives, which is so different from so many medical providers. Shes got a great memory, pays attention to every little detail, and has a soothing and supportive demeanor... yet she can still give you tough love if necessary (like making it super clear when I needed to stop taking on so many commitments during a medically taxing time period). She ALSO spends way more time with you than even most naturopaths, which is amazing. Pro tip: pay for a longer stay at the parking meter than you think you need, so you can soak up every minute without worrying about getting a ticket!
