I have been a patient of this office for nearly two decades. I have always felt important to my providers and care team. I have seen multiple providers between their downtown and valley offices. However, I see Dr. Reuter the most. They took care of me during my first pregnancy with my son and my second pregnancy as a surrogate. They have made every step of my care easy. They are incredibly caring, listen, and are very thorough. They are a great team from the front office to the back office.

I think giving this office any stars is pretty generous. This office was so poorly managed it was upsetting. I was very excited for my pregnancy and the office made me feel uncomfortable from the moment I walked in till I left. The scheduling was inconsistent, I never met with the same provider, and thank god for the resident at sacred for birthing my child since know one from this office was able to do it. I felt judged, shamed and ridiculed for my age, which I’m 32, and my body which I am not even over weight. The bedside manner of Dr. Reuter was flirty and highly inappropriate. With inappropriate touching of my back, hands, face. And comments of me being attractive. Just bone chilling, I was offered resources of Vanessa behan, which I’m still unsure why… I didn’t want to come to my appointments most the time i wanted to cancel most of them. The worker with financials was very disappointing and beyond rude I was given my patient responsibility in six months of my Pregnancy without being told From the beginning that I needed to make payments for each appointment. I had to research to find out I had resources of financial assistance through Providence and through my insurance provider The office was requesting me to pay $800 per month For visits, To get caught up in this economy, these days that was not going to happen at the rate they were requesting of me and the excuse of why the patient responsibility was never discussed with me was due to lack of staffing. I Felt highly uncomfortable going to this office. Such a disappointing process To go through for nine months.

Absolute worst ob clinic in town. Dr. Stovall (now retired thankfully) was an absolute cad. Every provider I saw at this clinic from the PA Nicole (now gone, hopefully fired), Dr. Reuter, Dr. Stovall and a female ob named Marilyn were: unprofessional, rude, antagonistic, unprepared in appointments. I went into labor and Dr. Marilyn told me to stay home. I gave birth less than an hour later. These people are awful! They like to fat shame their patients and tell you to shut up if you are crying in pain during delivery. I had a tubal ligation afterwards under local anesthetic and was very very nervous. Dr.Stovall told me to shut up or he was going to put me under general anesthesia. Horrible experience start to finish. If I could rate negative 100 stars I would.

Im incredibly disappointed with this location. I had 2 wonderful experiences here with Dr. Grant and was hopeful to continue my OB care here. There was a mix up with my appointment, the gal booking it set it for that same day instead of later in the week. I figured mistakes happen and asked to just make a new appointment. Dawn at the reception desk sat there clicking on her computer as Im standing there in awkward silence. I finally ask if its going to be possible for me to make an appointment. She just says no, there arent any. I asked what my options were, she just started at me, so I said Ill just go thru my primary doctor? And that was it. No appointment for a consultation for my medical issue, no compassion or empathy, not sure what I expected, but I didnt expect to leave there close to tears because I took time off work to be there, they messed up, and then refused me a new appointment. When I asked for the manager I was told she wasnt there and I couldnt leave her a message.

I’ve been coming to Spokane OBGYN for probably close to 20 years, and every woman in my family has been for even longer. Most of them have delivered babies with the help and care of Spokane OBGYN. I’ve delivered three of my own there, with one early miscarriage prior to them. Every step of the way they were nothing but kind and helpful. I’ve seen every doctor here and of course there are some that I connect with more than others but they are all fantastic. It is hard not knowing exactly who will deliver your baby, but the two doctors who delivered my first two were phenomenal. Unfortunately my last baby came on a weekend that they shared on call with Northwest OBGYN and I had a doctor who made me feel like I was an inconvenience for giving birth at midnight on a Saturday. But that’s something I don’t blame Spokane OBGYN for. I had two inductions due to high blood pressure but they never made me feel like an induction was necessary for my third. They gave me the option and respected my decision to wait. It is a larger practice so if you’re looking for something more intimate for prenatal and postpartum care this might not be your place. But it was and continues to be the place for me, thank you for all that you do Spokane OBGYN team! In particular Karen, Dr. Mathia (who has retired but was amazing!) and Dr. Reuter - they have always been there for me! Dr. Grant and Dr. Schemmel delivered my girls with such love and care and I’ll never forget those experiences ❤️

I went in for my first appt and had my child with me and saw Dr. Spaniol and it was awful. She didn’t ask about my previous or current pregnancy she just kept saying I need to think about what birth control I want to be on after I give birth and how I need to think about how many kids to have. All the staff just seemed like zombies so rude and unsympathetic. Glad to say I found a way better OB who actually cares about me and my babies.

I went to the Spokane Valley location. The doctor (male) gave me a hug after the nurse (female) left the room. As to my understanding, patient contact is not encouraged within the medical field, and as I assume, especially after doing an examination. This left me uncomfortable and I did not appreciate it. I received a hefty bill one month later for an appointment that lasted less than ten minutes. I feel that I would have been better off not going at all.

Absolute joke of a OBGYN Office, ESPECIALLY Dr Jason Reuter whom I saw for 3years for extreme pelvic pain and was told multiple times that it was in my head and that I didnt have anything wrong and that everything was normal because he just knew from looking at my prior tests from the past. I begged him for a Laparoscopic Procedure and he didnt do anything. He told me to go see a Pain Specialist... Wasnt happening.I went to DR. PAKK at Northwest OBGYN and my VERY FIRST CONSULT APPOINTMENT with him he wanted to dive into a Laparoscopic Procedure. Dr Pakk found severe ENDOMETRIOSIS all up in my pelvic area. I have my life back because of Northwest OBGYN.Ive been tempted to take legal actions against Spokane OBGYN for faulty care since last year after my Laparoscopic Procedure with Dr Pakk and his finding of the Endometriosis that Dr Jason said I do not have.

My daughter was born with a major birth injury that I feel could have been avoided if the doctors at this office had actually listened to me or monitored my pregnancy. I saw a different doctor at every visit, which makes it harder to monitor a pregnancy. I felt like just another number on a list here rather than an individual.

I love this office! I have been coming in here for close to 10 years. I had my first baby through them as well. Every doctor I have come across has always been so nice and comforting. Dr. Grant has been by far my most favorite to work with! She’s so sweet and kind! I’ve also seen dr. Reuter who is so awesome! He was the on call doctor when I went into labor and I had a great experience! It turned out the grant had just finished a surgery and Reuter told her I was in labor and she actually came up (not even on her scheduled day) and delivered my baby! The girls in the front office are so sweet and will answer any questions you may have. Love these guys and totally recommend them!

This place has the most non sympathetic staff ever minus one dr. I have experienced two miscarriages with this team and went in today in the middle of my second and not one person asked me how Im doing or said Im sorry for your loss. Not one! I always feel like Im annoying when I call on the phone to ask questions and always have to but them for test results. After this nightmare is over I will not be going back there for my future pregnancies. I want a office that actually cares.

This is by far the worst obgyn that Ive ever been to. Ive been dealing with a lot of heath issues and seen many doctors that still dont know whats wrong, but thats beside the point. 1st my appt was scheduled for 11 am and I was not seen until 12:30. I was sitting in the room waiting..no vitals were checked..nothing. Then once the doctor came in the room she was extremely rude and pushy. She was drawing pictures of the female anatomy and them proceeded to ask me what the body does during ovulation. Im a med student in college studying obstetrics and gynecology so I knew exactly what my body does. She then continously said that I need to go on birth control after I told her that my husband and I were trying for a second and then she stood up to leave and said if you dont want my help why are you here and slammed the door. She was extremely unprofessional and made me uncomfortable.

I had my first pregnancy with this office. Everything went well till the end of the pregnancy. My water broke in the middle of the night and contractions were close apart so I went to be hospital. When I got to the hospital I was left in the waiting room with my water still continuing and constant contractions. When I finally got into a room 5 nurses tried to get an IV in until we requested a specialist who got the IV in with no problem. I was in labor through out the day. When it was time to push the nurse kept saying I was doing it wrong because nothing was progressing. Shortly after an ultrasound was done and confirmed I wouldn’t have been able to push because I was too narrow and the baby was facing up. I had an emergency c section. Once I was in the operating room and they made the first incision I realized they forgot my husband in the waiting room. They had to stop and run out to grab him. Towards the end of the surgery the resident cut herself and bled into me. Then Dr. Reuter started yelling at her to hurry up or I was going to bleed out. They had my husband and new baby leave the room while Dr. Reuter continued to yell at the resident. I ended up losing a lot ofBlood and had to stay extra days at the hospital because of it. I was incredibly itchy after the surgery and a nurse refused to give me anything because they said it was bad for the baby. I had not slept in over 24 hours. The next night the itching stopped but the baby was now cluster feeding so I was unable to sleep. Several other things occurred with the Sacred Heart nursing staff during my stay. Once I was discharged I was at home for about a day when I was having sharp back pains and could t breathe. I called my OB office and the receptionist said they can’t help me anymore because I’m no longer pregnant. I had to leave my newborn home with my husband and go to the emergency room by myself. It was discovered I had pneumonia from the c section which could have been avoided had the nursing staff moved me around. At no point did the staff talk to me about getting up and moving around and also a risk for asthma patients. I have asthma and made sure that it was in my file when I checked in at sacred heart for the birth. I ended up going to urgent care and the emergency room again the following week because I could not get rid of the pneumonia. Finally I was given strong meds to kill it but it also killed my breast milk. I know had to give my baby formula which was another rollercoaster because of his allergies he had to be on a prescription formula which my insurance didn’t cover. Yes sacred heart was also a factor of this but the OB office had a roll in it too.

I have had the worst experience with this office since starting my care back in December. There has been little communication. I have asked for the NIPT to be done several times now and have been blown off and done an integrated screening instead so we are having to wait to find out the small details that we have been wanting to find out. I will be changing offices.
