Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! Dr. Hizon has gone above and beyond to provide my 90 year old Dad with the Best medical care available. He has given sound advice for elder care to our entire family as we all go through this journey with my Dad. The staff, John, Lisa and Daisy to mention a few, that have supported the care that Dr. Hizon provides, and help create a friendly caring office experience. Dr. Hizon’s passion for medicine and health is so evident, and his willingness to go above and beyond is greatly appreciated.

Dr. Hizon is a wonderful doctor! As a new doctor to the area, I really appreciate that he took the time to talk with me and give me insight on practicing in the area. He is a very passionate and knowledgeable physician. He goes out of his way to make sure patients get the best care. Dr. Hizon has been the best physician I’ve ever been too. His clinic is streamlined. He’s always trying to save me money on prescriptions and best of all he listens and seems to want to collaborate with me on my treatment plans. I’ve made the most strides in my health under Jerry’s care. I can’t recommend enough.

Dr. Hizon is a gem! He is so responsive and attentive and caring. I contacted him early on a Saturday morning through his answering service and left a message that I needed an urgent reply. Within 10 minutes (probably less) he had called and had gone over everything with me and had me taken care of and a Rx called in. He is amazing and so is his staff! I had a bad experience here, not coming back. Dr. Hizon didn’t want to figure out what’s going on at all. He said the problem is that I have too many doctors (I’m under treatment with gastroenterologist and got checked by cardiologist for one of the issues who sent me to pcp) and after saying it he sent me to endocrinologist LOL (make sense 🤦‍♀️) He was in rush, didn’t want to listen, interrupted, and just ignored most of my symptoms.Office staff is nice and helpful though.

Dr. Hizon is interested in improving people’s lives. He is an amazing researcher, always on the leading edge of what is currently known about so many topics. He has the courage to point out lifestyle issues and their consequences. He is so valuable to me and many others, pointing the way and being a good example. During my last visit he said, “We are in this together.” That is so reassuring when you are faced with medical issues. We are fortunate to have a doctor of his caliber in our area. I have been a patient with Dr. Hizon for the past 30 years. He has treated many of my sports injuries, as well as the common cold. His knowledge and expertise in the medical field amazes me. I like that his objective is to get the patient back on the playing field as soon as possible.In addition to his sports injury background, is his knowledge of nutritional health and wellness of his patients. He provides me with information to follow-up, and learn more about what I need to do to stay healthy and fit.Dr. Hizon is a pro when it comes to his bedside manner. Dr. Hizon is great and really cares about his patients. I have reached out to him multiple times on off hours and he has responded quickly both by messages and personal phone calls.

Men look no further. Dr Hizon is a such a great doctor. Ive avoided Drs my whole life just like you. Hes just a really cool and down to earth guy. Dr. Office is so easy to work with. They are fully digital office with appointments and lots of the contact stuff can be done online. Staff is great.

We got an appointment right away. Dr. Hizon was very knowledgeable. We liked that he had x-rays in his office and was able to get our son the Knee Brace, and thumb brace, he needed right at his office. He knew our sons coaches and wrote letters to them. He billed our insurance and will send us a bill for our portion. I will take all my kids to him for their sports injuries--it was a one stop visit!

I’m an disabled Army veteran and former competitive athlete who in the last few years has had trouble with my knees. I went to a renowned orthopedic doctor, and he basically told me to stop all my activities, including walking on the treadmill. Really? I want to ski, play golf and enjoy life!I saw Dr. Hizon, explained my background and that I just wanted to be active again, and he got it. He believes in forward thinking treatments, and talked to me about my weight and importance of “quality of life” not just sending me off to a PT for 8 weeks without addressing the other underlying issues. If you want a quality of life that youve been missing, I highly recommend Dr. Hizon for sports and family medicine he truly cares.

Jerry Hizon has been my doctor for over 15 years. He has healed me from two sports injuries and a serious illness that left me fatigued for 2 years. Im now healthy and active due in large part to his practice. I trust him greatly and recommend him highly.

I have three high performance athletes in my household (tennis and soccer). There is NO ONE I would trust more than Dr. Hizon with their sports-related care. He is knowledgeable, caring and extremely professional. We have seen him for broken feet, displace knee cap, shoulders etc. I would give him six stars if it were possible!

Incredibly dissappointed with the front desk and table side manner of this practice. Weve been trying for weeks to get issues resolved and paper work taken care of for my husband. Two things that are constantly pushed are Dr.Hizons book and that they charge for literally any paperwork that needs to be filled out. Every time we call the front desk seems bothered that we need assistance or have questions.We would not be calling if the things that needing resolving could be taken care of by us. Its frustrating that we get charged the same for zero resolution.

Pleasant experience with Dr. Hizon but not his office staff. Stephanie who answers his phones is so rude that Im actually finding a new primary care because of it. He needs a new receptionist so he doesnt lose all of his patients.

Dr Hizon and his staff are beyond amazing. I have seen him for everything from crossfit injuries to the common cold. His staff is always welcoming and friendly. Dr Hizon is knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate.

Not sure what to think, there is a sign “pick one issue to discuss” I get it, but I’ve never seen that before. The first two visits were EXACTLY the same, blood test, eat right and exercise, hand outs, I’m 60 I know how to stay healthy. My job was working on a railroad, very physical, I have muscle skeletal issues and I wanted to get advice about treatment. I paid for 2 form letters for FMLA $50 never got the second one, I had to go to the office and explain my physical job and that the pain needed to be delt with. I picked Dr. Hizon for the high marks. I did get help with a bladder infection that was nice.

Dr. Hizon is easily the best doctor I have ever seen. He is knowledgeable and explains exactly what is wrong in a simplified way that allows you to understand as well. His staff is also fantastic and ensure that you get an appointment as soon as possible.

Best doctor ever!!!! Ive recommended him to my friends. I like his style of medicine, hes a great listener and always replies to messages with urgency. Hes a great healthy example of a human!

If you are planning to switch to Dr. Hizon, let me save you a trip to his office. Regardless of what your problem is, his recommendation will be, “Eat more red meat and exercise more.” And now his latest craze: The Mediterranean diet. He will give you websites to check out. Books to read. But will not answer any of your questions, nor will he address or even listen to any of your concerns because he only sacrifices five minutes of his time with a patient. At least with my children and me. I think he might have cut carbs from his diet since I previously saw him past Spring because on my recent (and final) visit he was rude, snappy, and short on patience. (Signs of carb withdrawal). Not the best qualities in a physician.When I first visited him with my son a few years back with a sport-related injury, I thought he was relaxed and knowledgeable. But after my third visit to his office (unrelated problems), I realized that he has one explanation for every illness and he will disregard blood test results and will refuse to explain what they mean. I’m already doing 12-14,000 steps a day, never touch junk food, eat a balanced-nutrition-based diet, cook with natural ingredients, always have been, so him telling me to eat less and work out more is pointless. Actually, low iron makes you crave carbs. Low Vitamin D makes you tired. Etc. Why do I have to research all this stuff? Isn’t what doctors are for? All three visits to his office were a tremendous waste of time and money.You are better off Googling your symptoms, using Teledoc, ordering online tests (like food sensitivity), buying meters for your blood at the local drug store to monitor yourself. Or just buy books on a healthy lifestyle and diet and take CBD oil and natural supplements. Cut out the middleman.I had a better experience at the urgent care at night, then at Dr. Hizon’s office. I only give two stars, because the physician’s assistant was lovely.

Dr Hizon is very caring and professional. I am Blessed to have such an Amazing Doctor for my whole family. I can see him for sports injuries to a sinus infection.

Excellent I always feel everything mentioned to assistants is addressed by Doctor Hizon. I feel secure in knowing he is my primary Doctor he has excellent referrals that have addressed medical issues needing specialist interventions.

I have had issue with billing since last year, and I called the billing office so many times leaving messages. However, no one has called me back or cares to call me back. I’m furious!

Dr Hizon and his staff have been on the ball every time I come in. Friendly and fast! Im able to get my screening done for work over my lunch hour.

Went to see Dr. Hizon for a knee injury and I was quickly able to schedule an appointment. He clearly explained the cause of my pain and was very helpful.

Dr Hizon always takes his time sharing his knowledge with me and making me feel like a priority.

Can someone tell me if this doctor deals with pregnancy? Or can some reference me a great doctor, just found out Im pregnant and its the 3 pregnancy but Ive had two miscarriages..
