I was in a menopause spiral from hell. The gyn I saw was a nice doctor but he just couldn’t crack the code. We moved here and I googled menopause specialist and made an appointment. Yes, it can be expensive because od the insurance but the life I have now can not be compared to where I was when I started seeing her. I’m healthier and in better shape than I have been in years. I’ve lost my menopause weight and I have more energy than I have had in a decade. I truly owe my life to Dr Hall and her staff. ( the staff has been great too- even answering my emails on their day off).

I was a patient of this practice for 2+ years. I sought out Dr. Halls care when in search of a menopause specialist. This practice does not participate with insurance, so it is an expensive option. Additionally, it seems the bread and butter of this practice is HRT, specifically testosterone pellets every 3 months and DUTCH tests. I was unhappy to learn some medications prescribed from compounding pharmacies, could be prescribed FDA approved versions through my traditional pharmacy. Additionally, the office management is atrocious. Multiple times I booked appointments only to later be told the appointment could not be found on the books. Fortunately, they were able to correct appointments, but it can be frustrating..Phone calls with questions regarding labs or medications went unanswered for many days and often took multiple requests before a call back. There were many staff changes while I was a patient there. Fortunately, the current NP Lindsey has been a wonderful improvement to the practice. She is probably why I stayed as long as I did. My suggestion to anyone looking for a menopause specialist, consult North American Menopause Society website or ISSWSH (womens sexual health specialists). There are other knowledgeable specialists out there that take insurance. Also, watch Menopause Talk series on YouTube lots of valuable information out there.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hall’s for over 15 years. She is knowledgeable, proactive, kind and personable. Her entire office staff is welcoming and always helpful. Dr. Hall allows plenty of time for appointments, listens carefully to patient concerns and thoroughly answers any questions. She even spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with me when I had questions after an appointment. Dr. Hall truly cares about her patients!

Dr. Hall is an outstanding Doctor. She is an excellent listener during one on one consultations that are never rushed. She works to understand your needs and recommend an overall health plan, in addition to your annual gynecological care and superb menopause management. She takes the time to review your medical history and current situation to connect the dots to solve issues that other health care professionals did not take the time to think through. She is skilled, brilliant, thoughtful, compassionate and dedicated to each patient. Her staff is outstanding. Follow up care by Dr. Hall and Nurses Jennifer and Laurel is unmatched, especially post-surgery. You will always be able to reach someone at her organized office, and will always receive a personal call from a Nurse or Dr. Hall with test results. I could not be happier with my experience with Dr. Hall.

My experience with doctor Hall and her staff have been exceptional! Doctor Hall quickly diagnosed an issue I had been having for years that several doctors in the DMV repeatedly missed. She listens intently and thoroughly, does the appropriate research and devises a plan that is personal to each patient opposed to a cookie cutter/ one size fits all methodology/approach. Her vast knowledge and expert care will keep me coming back for years.Her team is professional, proficient and provides the same level of care and compassion as Doctor Hall. The energy upon entering the office suite exudes warmth and is quite welcoming. Though the office team lacks diversity I have seen all ethnicities in the office and know they are a diverse and inclusive practice. I highly recommend Dr. Hall and I am grateful I have her as a trusted and innovative physician.

I have been going to Dr. Hall for over five years and I am very happy with the practice. She continues to help me navigate menopause and she is very patient and listens to me. She also caught a potential problem that we were able to resolve. Dr. Hall was very proactive in getting me an appointment with an oncologist to check out the issue. My phone calls are always returned quickly and everyone at the office has been very professional.

Dr. Hall saved my life from surgical menopause hell. Dr. Halls therapies have given me my life back and then some. Dr. Hall takes her time with you--she is never rushed. She explains everything, her exams and related bloodwork are incredibly comprehensive, and she and her staff are incredibly responsive if you call them about any issue. At first, I balked at the idea of paying out of pocket for a doctor... But she is worth every penny. Highly recommend to other women experience surgical menopause--Dr. Hall will help you take back your life!

Dr. Hall and her entire staff are awesome. I am very lucky to have Dr. Hall and her team looking out for me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and Dr. Hall immediately recommended a surgeon who took exceptional care of me. This is an all woman practice that cares about their patients. I have been going to Dr Hall for about 4 years. She and her staff are caring, provide all the time needed to discuss issue and questions . She is extremely thorough working to ensure that all aspects of my mind and body are in healthy alignment. Her individualized protocol restored my energy, vitality and overall well being. I tell her she gave me myself back! So grateful to have found her and her staff. I also recently started with a new PCP at Virginia Hospital Center, when she asked who I see for gynecological care and I told her Dr. Hall she could not say enough good things about Dr. Hall and complemented me on my wise choice in a specialist.

Dr. Hall and her staff are AMAZING. I have been a patient for a little over two years and my life and health have improved dramatically. Dr. Hall listens to your issues and works with you on a plan for improvement. Her office is so organized and her staff are exceptional. If you are approaching or in menopause, dont suffer with the symptoms that come with it. I feel amazing, and have regained my energy and focus.

Im so glad I found Dr. Hall. She is gentle, patient and listens and provides great care to her patients. The staff is also very kind and friendly. I thought I would never find help for my issues, until the first couple of treatments with Dr. Hall. Ill admit I cried in my car after my appointments because I finally started getting results while having spent so long being ignored and dismissed by other doctors in my area. She was definitely worth the drive.

Dr. Hall and her team have consistently been an absolute godsend in my life for years now. When I first came to see her, I was in a lot of pain constantly. I’d been in and out of my gynecologist’s office so often I think they were about as tired of seeing me as I was of having to go there! They diagnosed me correctly but clearly had no knowledge or even concern about how to manage my condition. Dr Hall and her office staff are the absolute best. They listen, individualize and have innovative suggestions and answers. The office is impeccably clean and safe, no crowded waiting areas. Her staff goes out of their way to facilitate appointments and prescriptions. Dr Hall has very specialized training in menopause that you cannot find many places.

I echo the praise and gratitude others have said for meeting Dr. Hall and her excellent staff. After 20+ years dealing with hormone imbalance I feel like Ive gotten my life back. She is very knowledgeable, caring and dedicated to helping her patients. Finding the Menopause Center was nothing short of a miracle in my life.

I am not only a patient, but I also work for her. She is an amazing, knowledgeable doctor and spends countless hours beyond the in-office care provided to her patients. This is one of the main reasons I continue to commute long hours to support her and the staff to provide care way beyond any physician I have ever worked for. This is how medicine should be- patient focused care where your needs are taken care of, not dictated by insurances where she would be limited to quality care. She and her staff go above and beyond to take care each one of our patients individually. Dr. Hall is one in a million!! Dr Hall and her team are the greatest! Under Dr. Hall’s care my health has improved and my menopause symptoms are less severe. After seeing several other doctors before her, I believe she is best menopause doctor in the profession. I highly recommend her.

After suffering severe menopause symptoms for a couple of years, I learned that my previous OB GYN had established a menopause center. I am not being dramatic when I state that my treatment under Dr. Hall has been life-altering. She created a personalized treatment plan based on comprehensive testing. The awful symptoms I experienced were eradicated and replaced with good health and strong biometric numbers. I am celebrating my 6th year of good health under her care. Her staff is professional and knowledgeable but also caring. They go out of their way to help when it is needed. So five stars all the way around for this tremendous practice. I have been a patient of Dr. Hall for 12 years for so many reasons. Most importantly she listens to you and thinks outside the box to find solutions to your health concerns. Her care is individualized for you. If tests are ordered, there will be a follow-up call from the staff to discuss results. She is most definitely outstanding in her field.

Fantastic doctor and office. Wish others were like that! Dr. Hall spends time explaining the issues, answers all questions and provides follow up when necessary. I wanted to spread the word on what an amazing doctor Dr Melinda Hall is. I have watched her change thousands of womens lives over the past six years. Menopausal women have been able to feel better and get there lives back because of Dr. Hall. She has helped me conquer my fatigue, thyroid issues, and has helped me become a better medical assistant over the years. I am not menopausal, but I have some of the peri-menopausal symptoms starting up. I have never worked with a doctor like her who not only is amazingly thorough, but will take the time to listen to you and walk you through her plans to help you. She also thinks outside of the box and will treat your symptoms, whether your labs reflect it or not. She opened me up to the world of functional medicine and I am forever greatful.

First, this is the first time I have ever written a poor review on line. I am doing it because my experience was a nightmare in many ways. My experience with Dr. Halls office was terrible. It is not a medical office. It is a weight loss clinic with expensive medication to buy and then a doctor who tells you that what you need to do is take expensive tests that insurance wont cover and to stop using anything that is working for you. Highly disappointing! VERY EXPENSIVE and I highly recommend that you NEVER make an appointment with them.

It took Dr Hall minutes to find out what was wrong with me whereas others were unable to dx me over several years. Her approach, treatments, and referrals have been wonderful in getting to the bottom of my issues and working on getting better.

Dr. Hall and all of the staff at the office are very professional and always provide the best experience during my visits.Im happy that she is now taking care of my bioidentical hormone therapy too. Absolutely recommend her practice to anyone!

Dr. Hall took the time to get to know me and discuss ways to deal with my menopausal symptoms. She helped regulate my hormones so that pre and post menopause has not been an issue. She has also taken an interest in my overall physical and mental health.

The Ladies at the Menopause Center provide exemplary service. I relied on my OB-GYN for years when I became peri-menopausal. But one size fits all estrogen does not apply. Every woman needs to find the right combination of supplements and hormone replacement that works for her. Thanks to Dr. Hall I feel like me again.

Dr. Hall is an amazing physician - caring and helped me tremendously. I would warn that her staff will cancel appointments without notification and without concern about your well-being.

This place must be closed, if its not, then they have horrible customer service. I called three weeks ago to make an appointment as a new patient, was told they were excepting new patients in July and I said perfect, was placed on hold then hung up on. Tried calling back four times that day and no one answered. Called the next day and left a message, no call back. Called the week after that and left message, no call back. Tried emailing, thinking maybe the office is just super busy and no response.Its a shame because I have heard great things about Dr. Hall and was looking forward to having a great doctor that could help me with my needs, but apparently she needs to hire new office staff. Dr. Hall and her staff are so wonderful. I finally have someone who understands the issues that I’m dealing with as a post menopausal woman. You don’t have to fall apart because you are post menopausal. There is help and Dr. Hall is the answer.

WOW! I am surprise of the bad reviews. My experience has been outstanding so far. I am a new patient. I had no problem getting an appointment. When I went for my appointment the whole staff was excellent.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Front desk manger is disgusting. She talks a lot even about the medical assistants saying they aren’t even LPNs. Disgusting place don’t go here. They also don’t take insurance.

Nope. I feel she failed me on so many levels for my hormonal health. She was very dismissive of my questions and her approach seemed very cookie cutter. Not impressed.

I have great confidence in Dr. Hall. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have kept coming back since the ‘80s. She’s never steered me wrong.
