Let me start off by saying the staff were wonderful (the receptionist and the one with that takes blood samples ) but I had the Worst experience. My appointment was at 2pm I was not seen until 6pm because “DR.O” was late, rude and unprofessionbly late!! There was no apology. No common courtesy, no acknowledgment of how late she was. Did not ask if I had any questions. It wasn’t even in person. It was through a damn zoom call. Impersonal and just an awful experience.

Probably the worst place to go if you want professional CARE! for one i got there at 9:10 am and didn’t get to leave until 5:30 pm. i was put last when all i needed was a simple first trimester abortion. Almost every single one of the staff had an attitude or was just plain rude to everyone and anyone. after i couldn’t tolerate the surgery i had to wait in a room for over 2 hours not being able to see my boyfriend to comfort me and being strapped up to an iv that i didn’t need for a few hours. Again the WORST service and probably the most unprofessional environment for women i have ever seen.

What is the point in scheduling an appointment and you still have to wait hours to be seen!!! Nowhere on the website does it say it would be an almost 4hr wait to be seen even if you have an appointment. Saying it’s only for you to fill out paperwork. Why do I need an appointment time just to fill out freaking paperwork!! The point in scheduling an appointment is to be seen at that time. Not still sit around and wait all day like people do not have kids or jobs or a life outside of this place!!! Do not go here unless you plan on sitting around all day. Please go to another place if you can!!!

Office building scenery wasnt the best but the staff was very friendly and accommodating from reception, to nurse and doctors. Also, I was in and out within 2 hours, so no trouble with wait time like other reviews and keep in mind the time and day you book your appt! There are busy vs. slow days if you have a problem with waiting (?)- I went on a Tuesday morning, for reference. They clearly dont have you waiting for no reason, its a small office and can get crowded or busy quickly. Besides my little note on that, everyone in the office made my experience a little less stressful and thats all I could ask for.

If I could rate a zero I would. One of the worst experiences of my life. After being turned away once because a receptionist scheduled a two day procedure on a Friday, I came back the following Monday and was the first patient in the office but waited 4+ hours just to be told I was not going to be able to be helped after all. I strongly believe they would have kept me waiting if I did not speak up because 4 other patients were taken ahead of me. When my father, a 25+ year physician, asked for clarity as to why my procedure couldn’t be done the doctor was very argumentative and was insistent on not giving me physical copies of my “lab reports”. The “counselor” also turned me away with no suggestions as to where to go forward or other options to take. I would not recommended this place to anyone looking for more in depth procedures.

This place is so unprofessional. My appointment is today at 9:15 it is 11:06 and I have received not treatment. The lady on the phone says, “ you aren’t the only person here for a 9:15 appointment. Why over book. There are literally no waiting rooms. There’s no privacy everybody is sitting on top of each other. This place is not professional. The staff is rude and inconsiderate. They have to be violating hippa by freely asking you questions in the lobby in the hallway for Pete sakes! There is no way this place is still open! You ask when do you go back they say it’s really who turns in their paperwork first!? So, why make an appointment only to sit and not even been seen for hours. This process is hard for some people and it should be done in a more professional safe clean environment. We shouldn’t be left outside to crowd hallways and be given side eyed stares! Don’t advice woman’s rights to choose if you aren’t going to protect out privacy nor our feelings

I went in the office skeptical because of the bad reviews but the staff was very polite, nice, helpful and funny. They answered all of my questions and kept me company as i waited to be seen. Overall i appreciate their kindness and professionalism. The doctor was amazing. She worked swift but efficiently. To make sure things went well they did another ultrasound before i left. My experience was 5 stars.

I’m big on feeling out the environment and the vibe was off. Let alone the interaction between myself and the staff there. They didn’t make me feel comfortable at all. I asked about the risks of the abortion and the counselor went to ask the nurse who would perform it and with the door closed I hear her loud and clear say “she should know what she’s getting herself into. Let her know it’s a definite risk but it’s up to here!” In the meanest tone. I went with my instincts and withdrew. I didn’t feel comfortable and the receptionist even gave me a look to not go through with it...so glad I didn’t.

I came here with my fiancé and we were the very first people to arrive. They did the sonogram, the urinal test, and all blood work with 15 minutes of us being here. We waited 2 hours before my fiancé asked the receptionist how long it would take before she was called in. The receptionist informed her that the doctor was not even in the office even though it was 11:00 am and we had been there since 8:30. We didn’t even start our procedure until 12:30, and we were the first ones there, so you can imagine everyone else’s pain. I would say that if you have 6 hours of time to spare this place is good and if you don’t please go somewhere else it’s not worth it. The two stars does comes from the very nice receptionist. I would also say that as a man I would like a little more respect while trying to assist my fiancé because it seemed as though any man that has questions or tried to assist they shut them down in the rudest way.

I came here because of the great reviews so I was definitely not expecting my experience. The wait was ridiculous and the tiny office was filled so I had to wait in the hallway. About 5hrs in I went to the front desk to see if I was up next. It was three women there, one on the computer and two conversing. I stood there for about 3 mins before I said is anyone available in which the women on the computer looked at me and continued to look at phones on AT&T. Not to mention, the place was dirty, the trash cans were overfilled nothing seemed sterile at all. Everything about this place was a mess. I am def reporting.

This place deserves -100 stars. I’m only writing this review to advise people not to go to this location. The doctor or nurse practitioner-whatever she is called was highly disrespectful and did not have any manners. Her license needs to seriously be revoked. She was cussing, yelling and gossiping with her coworkers while in the exam room. There was even one lady who had her phone out at the beginning of the exam. I really wanted to run and I was not that desperate for an abortion, but I felt like it was too late to opt out.Do NOT go to this place, save your sanity. This was my first abortion and the lack of sensitivity given by the doctor and her staff was discomforting. I read the reviews, but did not get the entire picture until I experienced it myself. In the exam room, there was still blood on the floor. Very unsettling. I would of spoke up, but the character of these women were scary and they seemed like if you had a voice they would probably want to fight you.This place probably makes bank and that’s what keeps them open, but I would never in a million years come back for a follow up appointment; I’ll stick to my obgyn, even though she does not do abortions. I recommend if you have a bad experience involving this awful place report it to the call center. These ladies do not deserve to be serving the public. It’s sad that you can’t find a good office in Washington,DC with people who have a good ethical background. Defund this place or have a traumatic experience in your most vulnerable state of self.

First let me say this place DESERVES NO STARS. My friend came here for a abortion at 4 weeks to get the surgical procedure only because the call center told her “if they can see it, they would remove it”. She gets there and she was told she has to be atleast 6 weeks. So she chooses the pill method to just get it over with. Her follow up appointment was three weeks later. Her sonogram came back that her abortion was incomplete because she had some tissue lingering inside her. They doubled up her dosage to do it all again when they should have done the D&C. She ended up in the ER with severe cramps and she was admitted and they did the D&C there. Don’t waste your money here. They are over priced and ghetto. Let your GYN do it as long as you got insurance or planned parenthood. Or just have your baby before coming to this hell hole.

I just left this office after having a surgical procedure. the doctor was incredibly rude and yelled at me throughout the entire procedure because my body was involuntarily having spasms due to the pain and how rough and rushed she was being. after it was over she stormed out the room saying, “she hopes she got it all out”. no compassion. i understand they see and do this all day everyday but whew the ghetto. so disappointed as the doctor was also a woman of color. to top it all off her ponytail was dry maybe that’s why she was upset today i really don’t know.

Very Bad experience, I payed for a non surgical abortion which is only for people under 9 weeks . I went in and took the shot and the 8 pills they give you just to find out that it never worked and im still pregnant . And They made me wait until 1 pm to be seen when i had an appointment at 9 am . I was literally the first guest to enter the office . I would like to say that Ms. Amaya And Ms. BB were great with me made my lastest visit very comfortable for me knowing the circumstance I was in . if you have to get the surgical abortion I highly recommend Having Ms. Ameilia do it and Ms. amaya in the room . this is my second time every having to get a surgical abortion my first was 10 years ago and i was completely traumatized the first time so i was very concerned about doing it the second time until i did it and those three women i named had made my experience a thousand times better. But as for the clinic i highly DO NOT recommend any one to go there . Pay the extra money some where else you will have a better chance at succeeding in what you came to do .

This place is pretty decent. From my research this is the cheapest place in DC to get a medical miscarriage. I went on a Saturday - the place was packed. Be prepared to wait a few hours. My appointment was at 9:45 (I showed up at 10) and I left around 12:30/1pm. The waiting room is small - so they have additional seating outside. A few things they dont tell you - EAT before you come. The medicine used to induce the miscarriage will restrict you form eating anything with folic acid - for a plant-based/vegetarian like me - thats pretty much everything. The process is: a shot a methotrexate and 8 pills youll take about 5 to 6 days later. So I got my shot on a Saturday - I couldnt take the misoprostol till Thursday & Friday. Please ask about prescribed pain medicals because the extra strength Tylenol they suggest for pain will barely help you. THE PAIN IS BRUTAL. My experience included severe pain, heat flashes, vomiting, chills... for several hours. I highly suggest having someone with you while you take the medication during night one. The pain isnt as bad night 2 if you gotten all the tissue out. I have my follow up in about a month. But the overall experience was as decent as it could be given the circumstances.

This place is a complete joke and an insult to any woman with a brain. I drove over 2hrs for a 9AM appt and not only 1 but 3 of the most incompetent sonogram techs told me I was having TWINS and to get a second opinion (and to make matters worse they tried to say I was 20 weeks which is an additional $500 added to the procedure.) So not being from the area I had to go to a hospital I wasn’t familiar with just to be told it’s your SPLEEN and STOMACH. Then when I returned from my 4hr hospital visit they told me to come back the next day.

A loved one was a victim of medical malpractice at this facility. They are unprofessional. If you are looking to be heard and understood, please go to planned parenthood or another facility. The mission of Capital Womens Services is stated to be patient centered care and womens reproductive rights, but is anything but that. I would not feel safe ever stepping into this facility.

This place is sad. I had A surgical appt. Explained about some possible infection side effects. The nurse never called me back. Still occurring. I only Appreciate them cause they still let me check in even after being 15 mins late. But if I’m a emergency appt why make me wait so long if I could Have an infection.

Absolutely horrible. Drove almost 2 hours for an appointment at 10 only to not even be seen until after 12. They did the sono in 2 minutes, and I was told I was a week farther than I was supposed to be so they couldn’t do anything that day but I still had to pay. Went to a different doctor the next day and they said I was measuring exactly where I was supposed to be. They only said I was measuring different so they could charge me a higher price. Completely ridiculous, don’t waste your time here.

This was the worst experience ever! I do not recommend this place to nobody! They need to work on their communication skills to paying customers. There was no doctor in the office to assist until mid-day! What’s the purpose of appointments if they go by who turn their paperwork in first! It was just overall an bad experience for me! Never again

This place is the worst do not come here. Got here at 930am for my appointment and Im still waiting for my procedure and its almost 4pm. Go to planned Parenthood where it is more professionalism and competent doctors and nurses. This place dont even deserve one star but I had to give them one so I can write this review

I was just about to go here for a second trimester abortion but needed funding assistance. Their direct assistance never called me or could be reached . When I called the NAF I was told that they are banned and will not provide funding to this place because of unsafe practices. If the NAF doesn’t support them at all you would definitely not come to this place .

I thought I was pregnant and I called to get information about when I could come in. Ashley took my call and was patient kind and gentle with her advice. I truly appreciated that. I am not pregnant now as I took another route but I will keep them in mind if Im in the predicament again.

Would give a 0. Worst customer service. Take appointments but when you get here advised it could be a 4 to 6 hour wait. Advise people to wait in hallway but dont go out to call there name, so they go to the next customer. A clinic has better customer services than this. Should be shut down or evaluated.

Already aborted my 4th, its really fun, they encourage me to come back. I asked if I could keep the fetus during my last one as a trophy so i can put itn a jar and do rituals with it and they said theyd contact me soon so they dont get in trouble, but so I can also keep my aborted babies fo my new Wicca religion

Do not come here if you are looking for a supportive doctor m. The staff was amazing but the doctor to be someone with her professional background one would expect better. The way she spoke to her staff I don’t blame them if they hate her. She is rude and so urban it’s distasteful!

Went about 2 weeks ago to have an surgical abortion I thought it was completed but I was still have symptoms after 2 weeks so I went to the emergency room and they did an ultra sound I still had an whole 6 week baby inside of me! Im filing a law suit ASAP! That bald head DR that does the procedure is no good.

Appointments are booked for no reasonMines was 1030, Wasnt seen until after 4pm.Done completely at 4:36. If you can, find another place ! Women vommiting every where and all.

Worst service made 2 appointments for one 1 and didn’t take me bc “I wasn’t scheduled” when I showed them the confermation email. Very rude and smells. Only reason why they even have 1 Star is because they had condoms. Will never come back.

Assume whatever debt you have to in order to avoid this place. Trusting this place with your health is the worse course of action you could take. Its stressful, time consuming and at the end of it all-- abortions-- which is the primary service this place offers dont always work out.Pay more to get more, dont be cheap with your health and come to this clinic

My appointment was at 1:15 p.m I didn’t get seen until 5 and didn’t finish and leave until 7 p.m . Service was great however they just need more help or not to overbook

Had us schedule an appointment for 9am but didn’t schedule a doctor. It’s now almost noon and still no sign or update as to when a doctor will be available. We paid and are at their mercy. Horrible place, don’t come here.

Horrible wait times, several people were seen before me even though I arrived first and the waiting room was no big enough forcing people to awkwardly stand on top of you. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.There is a sign that says your appointment could take 4-6 hours but they should really tell you that when you are making an appointment.

I had a appointment at 9:00 its almost 1 and still havent been seen. Im waiting to talk tk a nurse and no one is trying to communicate how long it takes.

Friendly and they made sure I was comfortable with the procedure the only thing is the waiti you will be waiting long plus they will call people who came in way after you

Been here twice and both times the sonograms did not match how far along I was according to my last period and sonograms I had done at the hospital. they said I’m more far along then I really was which change my price to be more.

I put my trust in them completely and have been satisfied with the care I have received here. I couldnt have had a better facility for this course of action.

Nice small quite place, what I dont understand is how can you blatantly lie about the number of weeks someone is just for a few 100 more dollars....thats just pitiful!

Highly recommend this place,These girls are amazing in every way! Doesn’t matter what your getting they make you feel at home.

Really bad experience I was there since 11:30am to 3pm and they never attended me and they told me to come back later and I did , and they still didn’t attend me. Really bad place. What a waste of time.
