Horrible experience! He could care less about helping me in my journey. The birth control he prescribed gave me a terrible reaction that caused inflammation! Being a doctor he should have known not to prescribe that for someone with my condition. Than his nurse was a complete idiot that barely understood English!

Dr. Sacks!! I just want to say thank you for everything!!!I can honestly say that you made our fertility Journey a great experience, no matter the situation- your bedside manners were excellent! your responsiveness to any inquiries or concerns that i had was amazing!! I felt in great hands. We can now say we have been blessed with our Bundle of Joy- Emilia Rose!

After two back to back miscarriages-it was suggested that we meet with a fertility specialist. Preston was encouraging and based on our info-encouraged us to keep trying naturally rather than add a medical intervention. Now im 20 weeks pregnant :) Highly recommend him!

My husband and I are grateful beyond words that we found Dr. Sacks for our fertility journey. When we moved to the DC area, we wanted to make sure we had the right “who” for our care, and we found Dr. Sacks and knew he was the right fit for us. For my first “virtual” appointment it was a good experience! Dr. Preston Sacks was very personable, which made my husband and I feel very comfortable talking to him. He was very professional, knowledgeable, explained things in detail, and provided examples that gave us different perspectives. He also did a wonderful job explaining next steps and future options.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Sacks. Everyone was very professional and genuinely kind. Dr. Sacks was amazing the way he delivered the information. He so kind and made us very welcomed. I’m so grateful to find Dr. Sacks and Columbia Fertility.

My husband and I were referred by Dr. Garfield (at Capital Women’s Care) to Dr. Sacks after experiencing two clinical missed miscarriages. At our initial consultation and evaluation, Dr. Sacks recommended we continue the natural method of conception, given our ages and states of health (34 yrs old). We proceeded to have a series of chemical pregnancies over the course of the spring, summer, and fall. Then, in early November we conceived again, with a very early and very positive test result. I immediately contacted Dr. Sacks (via e-mail) requesting to be put on progesterone. He scheduled me the next day to confirm the pregnancy and accordingly prescribed progesterone, which I have been taking twice daily since.Dr. Sacks saw me every week for an ultrasound. I am now entering my 12th week of pregnancy, the farthest I have ever come. Yesterday was my last ultrasound with him, as we’ve reached the point where he needs to pass me on to my OB. I am definitely already experiencing feelings of separation anxiety because Dr. Sacks embodies so many qualities you want in a doctor. When making decisions, he takes into account his own experience, knowledge, and expertise, as well as, your own concerns, intuitions, and self-awareness. His bedside manner is genuine: he is welcoming, composed, warm, and he will tell you if he has any concerns. He has a unique ability to reassure you without patronizing you. He is trustworthy. Dr. Sacks is also VERY RESPONSIVE. Whenever I sent an e-mail,(and I sent many) he would respond promptly (within at least 12 hours). For all of these reasons, my anxiety was decreased significantly (so important, given the stress that recurrent pregnancy loss already causes one to be overwhelmed by when pregnant again).I absolutely recommend Dr. Sacks and feel very fortunate to have been referred to him. He is considerate, knowledgeable, openminded, warm, trustworthy and honest.

Dr. Sacks is a diamond in the rough of fertility treatment. He is a perfect combination of bedside warmth mixed with experience and competence. From his first email response to me he has treated me with nothing but kindness and respect. He listened to what I wanted and was able to accommodate. He also didn’t sugar coat; he let me know in gentle terms what the odds of success were. After lackluster experiences with two other fertility doctors in the area, Dr. Sacks restored my faith in the process of fertility treatment. Instead of feeling like a piece of broken machinery in a factory, I was treated like a human. This was the greatest gift of all. I highly recommend Dr. Sacks.Side note- he also got me pregnant :)

Dr. Sacks was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and informative and walked us through every step on the process for almost a year. He was kind, always took his time with us and was even responsive via email when I was worrying about various things, which was I really appreciated during difficult times. We just found out a few weeks ago that we are finally pregnant and couldn’t be more excited! My husband and I are so thankful for Dr. Sacks and all the staff at Columbia Fertility for all their help.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Sacks for almost 10years. He’s amazing. There’s been numerous of times that he has gone above and beyond for my husband and I. I’ve always felt safe and supported which is very important on your infertility journey. His bedside manner is impeccable and he’s very easy to talk to. He addresses any concerns and thoroughly explains everything. Preston never makes me feel as if I’m a bother which is very assuring.

Dr. Sacks is kind and responsive, but I wouldn’t characterize as thorough. He misdiagnosed my uterine abnormality as inoperable and not the cause of the miscarriages (5) I experienced. He said it likely came down to chance. It’s not until I moved to NJ and consulted another doctor that they believed my uterine abnormality was likely the cause and suggested surgery. By the next cycle post surgery, I was pregnant with my son who was born in July. I didn’t feel Dr. Sacks’ work ups were thorough and he drew the wrong conclusions for me when it came to my treatment.

Dr. Sacks is Amazing! He deals with me, and im sure with all of his patients with extreme love and care! All while having impeccable knowledge of his field! I enjoy every visit, and his positivity, and great care and concern! I would recommend any and anyone! He listens, and that is hard to find out here!

Dr Sacks is exceptional. Very engaged and responsive and calming. The whole process is so stressful and intense and he will reply to late night emails and also not put you on drugs you dont have to be on. Its not a conveyer belt experience as everyone is different. The office admin and billing is not great and youll want to engage a lot more with the nurses but if youre looking for an excellent doctor then Id go with Dr Sacks.

He’s really the best! He’s a very decent doctor, me and my husband just started with Dr. Sacks and we feel very comfortable with him! And very hopeful too! The doctor knows what he’s doing unlike most of doctors honestly! A close friend recommended Dr. Sacks to us! And she was absolutely right about him!

Dr. Sacks is a wonderful physician. Hes easy going and instantly made both my husband and I feel comfortable, which is especially important considering the nature of his practice. His staff is highly flexible with zoom appointments available, and we left with a detailed treatment plan. I highly recommend Dr. Sacks and his staff at Columbia Fertility!

Dr. Sacks is highly skilled and experienced, and at the same time, hes exceptionally kind - at the bedside, in the office, even by email. When I felt daunted, he reassured me gently and made it all seem much easier. Just after listening to a fetal heartbeat together, at my last appointment with him, he said it has been fun! Crazy though that seems, he was right.On top of this, Dr. Sacks works with a staff of very knowledgeable, helpful people. I am especially grateful to LaShonne Levy and Sarah Crumbley and will miss them all.

I am so grateful for Dr. Sacks. He does such a wonderful job of explaining everything that’s going on, with a lot of detail but easy enough for anyone to understand. He is very knowledgeable about his field and takes the time to listen to you, answer questions, and truly make sure you are taken care of. He is also HAES aligned which is really hard to find in the medical world. Highly recommend.

Dr. Sacks answered all of our questions very thoroughly and to our satisfaction. He also helped us develop a plan as we move forward in our fertility treatment journey, which we found very helpful. Dr. Sacks is also a really lovely person in general. We are very thankful to be under his care.

Dr. Sacks is a great doctor. However, some of the staff could improve in their communication and responsiveness. There were many instances during this journey were I was not properly informed of important information, not prescribed important medication, and charges were not communicated in a timely manner. I raised these concerns and was treated as if I was the problem and there was no accountability for errors made in their office. As much as I admire Dr. Sacks I will not be returning.

I love Doctor Sacks. Ive been going to him for over 15 years. He is, hands down, the best gynecologist in DC. His bedside manner, humility and expertise are just several wonderful attributes that make him such a good doctor.He has helped me with two successful IUIs, both successful on the first try. Hes amazing.

Dr Sacks is awesome. Very helpful and informative, anticipates questions, and has great bedside manner. An absolute pleasure to deal with. I wish all my doctors were like him. My wife gets very nervous with doctors, and hes able to put her at ease.I docked his office a point because his staff is fairly terrible. They messed up the billing on multiple occasions, give unclear directions in voicemails/phone calls, never ever show up on time (730am appointment means the doors open at 745am, then you have to wait for the rest of them to show up).Were very happy with Dr. Sacks, just know that theres going to be issues with the staff.

Dr. Sacks really took time to listen to our unique situation and concerns and we feel like he responded to all of it without feeling rushed or like we were being annoying. Answers were backed by research and made us feel really comfortable in our plan to move forward.

Due to the pandemic, it was difficult going through the IVF process with my husband not being able to be there physically with me. However, Dr. Sacks was great! I only had 1 normal PGS tested embryo that made it to blast! Im happy to say that I am 9 weeks pregnant. Id like to thank Dr. Sacks, the front desk staff and the nurses Iman and Wendy!

The office staff are friendly and efficient and the office is very clean. Dr. Sacks is incredibly knowledgeable, and he put me at ease immediately, allowing me to ask as many questions as I wanted. He also did not pressure me to take any steps but presented me with all of the options.
