Sarah invited me in to see her, as she monitors all INR patients and advises them on methods and procedures for maintaining a proper range for blood viscosity. She transitioned me from my primary care physician to her care smoothly and then addressed all of my questions and concerns for nearly an hour.Sarah Fitzpatrick has a charming and engaging personality. She is very efficient, communicates very well, and her work here will serve this hospital well. From my perspective, she is outstanding in every way. I am awestruck, as I am with everyone on staff. Sarah is the definition of caring.

My provider Kelsey S and Nurse Leanne are amazing professionals and humans!!! The support, empathy, and understanding they’ve displayed during my check ins is remarkable. They truly listen to your needs and make you feel hopeful again. They try their best to accommodate needs and advocate for their patients at the same time.

Kelsey Striegel is wonderful. She looks at her patients individually. She takes her time and treats their concerns accordingly. She has never forced me into any treatment I wasnt personally comfortable with. She just gives the pros and cons so I can make my own informed decision. She genuinely cares. So happy I found her as my health care provider!

Dr. Murphy is not my normal primary care doctor. However, he took the Time to listen to what was going on with me and was very thorough with my treatment. I wasn’t just another person off the street coming in highly recommend.

I was able to see Brian Murphy the same day that I called for an appointment. He advised me as to what tape & bandages to order because of my allergies. He also referred me to be seen at the wound clinic for help to heal the open spot on my leg. I am diabetic so open wounds do not heal as fast as they did when I was younger.

This is the worst hospital in the southeast Iowa area both as a prospective employee and as a patient.Recently interviewed for a position at this hospital and the lady in charge of the interview was very judgmental and gave off an Im better than you attitude. I knew from her attitude I was wasting my time with this interview and she didnt bother to ask me any relevant information regarding the position I was highly qualified for but I feel as if I was judged by my tattooed appearance or maybe even my racial background? The other two ladies that joined her in the interview were nice.I had a horrible traumatic experience with the staff in the ER as a patient about 3.5 years ago that still affects me mentally to this day. I came into the ER with chest pain, a high heart rate of over 190, and my blood pressure so high I temporarily lost my vision. I was in so much pain and couldnt breathe, I was begging and crying for my life. As soon as they found out I had THC in my system they stopped treating me with respect. They just gave me a Ativan to lower my heart rate and blood pressure. They LAUGHED and joked about this is why you dont smoke weed in the nurses station while I was still screaming in pain that my parents could hear me from the waiting room. They discharged me after my pulse rate and BP dropped. It only lasted a few hours before I had to call an ambulance that same night to take me to the university hospital because my symptoms ramped up again. Sure enough the UIOWA hospital found an acute heart condition responsible for my symptoms. Im lucky that the negligence from WCHC wasnt fatal!

Meagan is a great addition to my healthcare team. Listens closely to my questions, takes notes, is direct and clear in her communication, doesnt rush through the appointment and makes me feel relaxed and understood. I hope she sticks around. 🙂

Ive been a patient here for 15+ years, maybe 20? Have always received excellent medical care. I saw the same PCP for all that time. He retired recently so established care with Kelsey Striegel, ARNP, last week and I already know I like her! She believes in treating the whole body to include mind and spirit and I strongly believe in this approach. She even listened to my carotid arteries with stethoscope - in 59 years, I do not ever recall having a provider do the same!

Kelsey is great. She listens and is thorough with her assessments and she follows through on getting the needed work ups to make sure your correctly diagnosed and treated.

We took our child to the Washington Hospital emergency room.The nurses are caring. The doctor was condescending and full of excuses. The doctor gave medicine to ease symptoms but never tried to figure out what was wrong with our child. I never heard of a hospital that didnt have proper equipment. Our child got worse and had to go to another emergency room for help. Please dont go to Washington hospital emergency room

Kelsey is such a caring kind person. She explains everything to you. She is very direct with you and makes sure you understand your needs before you leave. I so appreciate her!

The entire staff, including Nurse Practitioners & Physicians, are some of the best Ive ever met. They given me some of the best care Ive ever received. I cant say enough good things about them. This place is #1 in my book!

I met with Brian Murphy for the first time; and I felt confident in his response to my concern, and in his overall attentiveness to my needs. He was very pleasant and easy to understand. I would highly recommend him to others.

Horrible! Took forever to get my sister into a room .then sent her home in the same amount of pain she was in when she came in and basically acted like they didnt care, barely even did anything. Go to mercy or university!

Have been referred several times to the Physical Therapy Department over past 3-4 years for problems with chronic lower back pain and weakness in legs. Helped me tremendously with strength and flexibility. They are caring and very passionate in helping the patient. I worked with Breena and was very satisfied with level of care I received. I have also seen Chad and Brenna and same thing can be said for both of them. I recommend Washington County Hospital Physical Therapy Department to anyone.

Lisbeth Whaley is simply the best. Her compassion, knowledge and caring are unmatched. I dont think I would be here today if it wasnt for her and my belief in her as a person and as a professional!!!

Our experience with Dr Murphy was nothing but great ….patient, caring and understanding.

We just spent two days at the hospital with my dad. E R professionals were great. Mrs. Gedney and her staff were superb. Everything was clean and neat. The food was excellent. I am so thankful for the care he received.

My husband got a terrible infection and needed to be on IV antibiotics for several days. The staff there were exceptional. Everyone we met seemed happy and upbeat, that helped with his mood a lot. His room was clean, he was happy with his meals, everyone was professional and courteous.We couldnt be happier with the whole experience, especially during a time I was in crisis mode because my husband was sick and I couldnt do anything to help him.Thank you so much.

I was visiting family in Iowa when my sciatica flared up. I went to the Washington County Hospital ER. I cannot say enough good about my experience there. From the kind and cheerful greeters who checked me in, to the doctor and everyone that dealt with me, the service was excellent. I was in and out in a short time, too. Thank you for the help you gave me during my visit!

I love how she takes her time with you, and shes genuinely cares.

I had surgery today with Dr. Green and it was incredible. Both of the nurses I had were amazing and made me feel great! Sadly I dont remember there names but I definitely recommend Dr green for surgery. I was nervous going into surgery but they helped me feel comfortable!

Over decades of medical support at this hospital and close supervision of complicated medical issues, they deserve close to perfection. I especially like knowing most of the doctors already, so they make you feel at ease. The nurses are always both friendly and professionally skilled. I am respected to have input in my medical decisions. I am part of my medical team, as it should be. I especially appreciate my Family Practice Dr. Flannery. I think he is absolutely the best there is. Well done!

Today we drove in terrible fog to an appointment and it became very evident this hospital is much more concerned about money than the care and safety of its patients. The service of our doctor used to be very good. In the past 3 years service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! They refused to see us after we drove an hour to an appointment!!!!!!!

I went in having a really bad anxiety attack.When I asked the night staff questions they’d look at me as if I were stupid and were quite rude.The receptionist was nice though.

Was here at Er twice...will NEVER walk in those doors again!! I am talking to someone about the way I was treated, I still have pain. ..I would actually give them 0 stars.

Dr. Ajax was knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, and answered my questions. I highly recommend him.Claire and Radiology Staff were very friendly and helpful, as appointments were made and records transferred.

All the people at this Clinic were awesome. Dr Ashby and his staff were very professional and very in tune to my needs and getting a solution to my illness.

Never coming here again. First experience was good. Second time today, left me feeling degraded and worse than going in. Jeffrey Mason could use some work on his people skills and knowledge of mental health issues. Also mentioned throat and ear pain, received zero care for that.

They refuse patients who are Deaf equal access. Patients request interpreter(s) but they refuse. They did not earn the 4 star rating in my book. People are people but denying service to family members who are deaf is an insult as well as uncaring.

Was just with girlfriend in er at 4am... doctor was very rude and disrespectful... said she wasnt running a fever and the er wasnt a clinic but her blood pressure was 170/105 . And refused to run any tests. Patient stated she did not feel rite.. dissyness, has auto immune disease.. if that how a doctor treats patients, wont run a test to fig out why the patient is ill.. why be there..very poor professionalism...

I have been here on 2 occasions and both were nightmares. Very rude, they are liars, and very unprofessional. We will drive the extra 10-15 mins for either muscatine or Iowa city. Will never step foot here again. The ER dr needs to find a new job, because being caring and compassionate is not in his nature.

Went to the clinic for a cough and uti. Kelsey streigel ( nurse practitioner) insisted that I needed full panel blood work, an Ekg, and chest exray. I told told her that the EKG wasnt necessary. That I have never had issues with my murmur and that most doctors cant even hear it. I told her that I didnt want to have the blood work ( just had one done 9 months earlier)and Ekg done. That I wouldnt be able to pay it. Her response was health is more important than money and it is necessary to have these done. So It was billed as diagnostic services to the toon OF $1000... (nothing was wrong with the blood work or Egk or exray.) She wasnt even my regular doctor and tried to poach me from regular one. DONT go to that clinic they will screw you and smile while you try and pay the crazy monthly payments they ask for.

I have been going to this hospital for about 15 years and I have never had an issue with them. Now..... thats not to say that this hospital doesnt have it problems, but what hospital or place of business doesnt. Please, be cautious as the verbiage you use, for they are trying there best to take care of you. Just a simple blood test or ekg or what ever could have saved a life. 😁

My rating is for the ER! If I could give a negative number I would! They have no actual knowledge of medical conditions and are completely rude! My 8yo could give a better diagnosis than pretty much all the doctors in that ER! Unless you need a $400 bandaid that they may actually decide you dont need whether you are goushing blood or not take the drive to iowa city! They will even get the record wrong for your visit there! Malpractice at its finest!

Completely disagree with their policies on being “kicked out” as patients at the clinics... we used same clinic thru all the times they went under “new ownership” etc just to be thrown out like we never existed!

The worst collection of doctors of all time! If you want to die, go to Washington hospitals and clinics. Theyll kill you with a smile;)

I have always found the people there to be courteous. You must realize that this is a small hospital, and this causes some limitations. For what they can do, they do well.

The doctor I seen here lied and said they could not test me for a staph infection when I had visable symptoms when emergency room is able to test for staph!
