DC Health and Wellness Center

DC Health and Wellness Center is one of the best Health and Wellness Clinics in the areas. They are convenient, affordable, and efficient. They provide same day appointments as well as walk-ins. While their specialty is reproductive health and preventative services they also offer screenings and treatment. Client’s privacy is a priority and upon arrival everyone is assigned a number oppose to being called by names to protect it. Medicaid and Medicare is accepted, and no one is denied services!

I had appt,which meant nothing to them waited over an hour to be seen. Will not be back if I don’t have to be. They don’t respect ur time whatsoever!! Waited 2 hours after appt time! Ridiculous!! 1STAR

My experience at DC Health and Wellness Center has been excellent. I have been a patient for about three years and I have had the chance to see Jason Beverly, NP. Jason is always punctual with appointments. His vast medical knowledge is unsurpassed by any other healthcare professional I have ever had. My favorite part about our appointments is that he sits me down and uses words and sentences I can understand. If you are looking for a local healthcare provider that accepts state plans, I HIGHLY recommend the DC Health and Wellness Center!

The outside of the building is a bit ruff but once inside of the office , the staff is really nice and fast.First results are preliminary in before you even leave and you get the rest relatively fast over a online portal.By accident the bill form the lab was send to my house instead of DC.gov which I thought I had to pay to my surprise , but after my initial review mentioning the bill they called me to apologize for the mistake and took care of it , hence the response on my review below

My grandson tested positive for TB via blood test even though his chest xray was negative. He is currently under treatment for Latent TB - no symptoms but the germ is in his blood. Without treatment it could become active TB. The doctors and staff have been overly friendly and helpful as well as explaining the diagnosis and treatment from start to finish as they knew I was freaking out. Very very happy this is the office handling his treatment.

Had an appointment this morning at 10am, the actually got me started at 9:55. Everyone was super nice: The lady at the front desk, the nurse who took my blood pressure and temperature (Tanekia, I think), the supervisor who did my intake (Jason), and the nurse who took my blood. I was out of there at 10:45. No complaints!

I have had a great experience with this facility. I have been going there since October 2022. Friendly staff and Dr Bryce is awesome!

Theyll schedule you for an appointment but make you wait an extra hour in the waiting room. They dont really know what theyre doing and often those mistakes will require you to make another appointment just to have to wait in the waiting room even longer. They never recorded my vitals on my first visit and had to do them again. Extremely unprofessional with no apologies for inconveniencing you. Choose another clinic.

Great staff, very friendly and caring. I highly recommend going here. They actually care about you.

The wait time is horrendous and there is no adequate parking. The worst part about waiting an hour for service is that your time is unvalued here. I would not recommend this place for service nor would I be back.

Great place,staff always polite and will assist in every way they can.Im particularly happy with my doctor, Dr. Bryce Furness ,an awesome professional man who handles his clients like gold. He is the main reason i have stayed at this place and thank you so much for your listening and care you provide sir.Keep up the great work

I am shocked at how disrespectful the person was who answered the phone when I called to make an appointment. He bragged to me that a government employee was actually there to answer the phone for me and became angrily defensive when I showed apprehension at giving away so much personal information over the phone. When I mentioned this place may not be the best place for me, he hung up without a goodbye. I recommend finding services elsewhere.

Ryan was polite and curteous! Provider Agnus is knowledgeable and gentle, she doesnt mi d answering questions and she is very encouraging. Jason (with the locs) ia always a breath of fresh air he is prefessional and non-judgemental. I always have a good experience.

Im here for an several months for work and was turned away because Im not a resident. I live in New York full time and we dont turn anybody away take health seriously. The website said they wont turn anyone away and yet Im turned away they were completely refused to see me

Everybody is super friendly and ready to help you. They answer all your questions, you can text them for appts, you can see your lab result online super fast. I am so happy with the service.

The staff is nice enough but i never understand why take appointments if you won’t stick to the appointment time. if i make an appt at 12pm arrive at 11:50 am I shouldn’t still be waiting at 12:45pm

Had a telehealth appt scheduled same day. It was super easy and straight forward and Dawn was so nice and helped me feel comfortable and open. Thank you

They are horrible man no communication and just have you sitting around waiting and when you ask for a update they seem to have a attitude..Black people for you
