I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Safran, and without a doubt, he is the best doctor Ive ever encountered. From the moment I walked into his office, I felt an immediate sense of professionalism and care. Dr. Safrans expertise is unparalleled; he was thorough, attentive, and genuinely invested in my well-being. He listened to my concerns with great patience and provided clear, comprehensive explanations that put me at ease instantly.A special mention goes to his incredible nurse, Karen Singh. Her knowledge, care, and professionalism are second to none. Singhs warm and compassionate demeanor, combined with her exceptional skills, made me feel valued and extremely well-cared for throughout my visit.Dr. Safran and Nurse Singh are a phenomenal team, and I can confidently say that my experience with them was beyond exceptional. If youre looking for top-notch medical care, look no further.

Dr Safran and this whole office is the best OBGYN clinic you can go to. The wait time is never long and everyone from the front desk to the MAs are awesome. Dr Safran will make you feel like family from the moment you meet him. He takes the time to sit with each of his patients in his office and talk before he does anything. That alone says a lot. I mean even for an IUD removal… he remembers small details about your life and you can tell he genuinely cares. Plus find another doctor that will give you chocolate and Motrin after a procedure!!!! He’s the best. I’m so glad I found this place.

Dr. Safran is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met. Although he is always busy, he takes the time to really listen and answer all my questions as if I was his only patient for the whole day. I could not be happier to have found him and would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Safran is the best Gynecologists in the DC area. Hes been my doctor since 2013 (8 years). He is genuine, compassionate, and he listens and takes time to discuss and solve any issue you are dealing with. Its a subtle but rare thing to find a doctor who has as much experience as he has and yet he still takes the time to listen and ensure you are getting the right treatment/care. Hes totally for women. I have also appreciated on many occasions that he acknowledges the spiritual/religious side of life and good health.

Dr. Safran has been my gynecologist for years and I feel lucky to have him. He is an excellent doctor - skilled and compassionate, quick to respond to any questions. He has even called me over the weekend to let me know test results I was concerned about. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Dr. Julian Safran provides excellent care. He takes time to address any issues I have. He is friendly and engaging. Ive been a patient for 37 years and will continue to see him for the foreseeable future. Im so glad I was referred to him years ago. Its been a long and very good journey. Ive always felt I was in the very best of care!

I’ve been going to Dr. Safran for several years now. He is compassionate and has a good bedside manner. He will often go above and beyond to clarify a concern or put a patient’s mind at rest about a topic. He makes a genuine effort to connect in the limited time available. I have been seeing Dr. Safran for years and trust his insight and experience. If you have no issues of concern, you can be in and out for a routine appointment in 30 minutes which I really appreciate. If you need to address something specifically, he will dedicate as much time as is needed to address an issue with you. He has wonderful bedside manner and really cares about his patients - it seems his patients needs are what drives the appointments which is not always the case with other doctors.

Dr. Safran is very personable and put me immediately at ease. There was zero wait time to see him. He listened to my concerns and asked a variety of questions about my overall health. I am very satisfied with this first visit with Dr. Safran and will return to him for visits in the future.

Wonderful doctor. He has taken such great care of me over the years. He is kind, compassionate, and empathatetic. Dr. Safran has even responded to my occasional texts and calls outside business hours, showing that he cares for his patients!

Dr. Safran is the absolute best!! I have been visiting the office since I was 24. I am now 48. I dont even have a Primary Care doctor. I visit Dr. Safran for everything. I trust him with my life. He always knows who I am when I visit and is always so friendly and cheerful. On a side note, he still looks the same just like that school teacher that never ages. I made one of the biggest decisions of my life and Dr. Safran and Dr. Horowitz were there with me every step of the way. My surgery was 2007 and I was treated like Royalty at Sibley. 12 years later and I couldnt be any more happier.

Dr. Safran is an Outstanding Obgyn doctor. He cares about his patients; he has great bedside manner, as well as an effective listener. He is very knowledgeable. I have been going to Dr. Safran for several years and Im so glad to have him as my Gynecologist. Unfortunately, Ive had a few negative experiences with doctors before meeting Dr. Safran. Mainly their lack of personal care, overcharging, and bedside manner but Dr. Safran represents the best of his profession. You can tell he is passionate about his practice from the care and attention he pays to his many patients. Im elated to be one of them. I know my vagina is in good hands. :)

Never knew going to the gyno could be such a pleasant experience. The whole staff are friendly and helpful, but Dr. Safran is a gem. He met with me in his office before the exam, gave me as much time as I wanted to ask questions, emailed me some resources, and took care of the actual exam quickly. Hes relaxed, personable, and genuinely cares about his patients.

Dr. Safran is my doctor for more than 10 years. He has been attentive to any observation I make about my health, and he promptly contacts me after my exams results are available. I strongly recommend doctor Safran.

Dr. Safran is a gem, an excellent gynecologist who clearly cares about his patients. He is an expert who has a kind, gentle manner. Dr. Safrans assistant/nurse, Amanda Sukhrum, was wonderful. She assisted Dr. Safran by diving right in to help him on a procedure I had. Amandas easy going style and interpersonal skills made me feel at ease during my visit. Dr. Safran is hands down the best doctor Ive ever seen. After my mom died, he was the only doctor who asked me about my mental health and really listened. A few years after that he ended up saving my life by figuring out I had appendicitis during an exam (he said I seemed in pain). My symptoms hadnt been very strong by that point, but he was sure of it. Within 24 hours I was in emergency surgery. He later called (on a Saturday morning no less) to check in. Dr. Safran is a compassionate, thoughtful doctor who cares about your well-being.

Dr Safran is an amazing doctor. He takes his time to educate his patients. He doesn’t rush you with your questions. Very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and positive doctor.

Dr. Safran was wonderful, as always!! He shows personal interest in my care and offers superb guidance. I look forward to my appointments with him! :)

I saw Dr. Safran in May 2021. He was rather dismissive of my pain and tried to rush me out. A year later, after going to other doctors, I was told I needed surgery. I would not recommend Dr. Safran to other women.

If I could score Dr. Safran more than 5 stars, I would! He is the best physician I have seen in my entire life. Excellent bedside manner, responsive and a highly skilled physican.

Dr. Safran is the best hands down. He’s personable, makes you feel comfortable and most importantly he knows his stuff. His assistant is great too very passionate. Highly recommend this practice.

Rushed me through the consult, when I had questions, he just gave me a pamphlet to read. I was uneasy with what he told me, so I had to have a second consult with another doctor. Then he billed me a LOT that my insurance didn’t cover and I was out of the country for work, so he sent my bill to debt collection.I do not recommend him.

It’s my first time going to a gynecologist here in USA, Dr. Zafran made me feel very confortable, he is very kind and makes you feel that he listens to you and gives you confidence in solving your concerns. I will definitely come back.

Best Ob/Gyn in DC hands down! Probably best in the country. You won’t find another with such care, expertise, and honesty. I have been to over 25 different hospitals and I cannot find another Dr. Safran. You won’t regret giving this practice a chance. They set the standard for quality healthcare!

Similar experience to previous reviewer. Told Dr.Saffron I have a limited budget and to please not recommend any procedures that would be too costly. Previously for the process up to and including a LEEP procedure I had to pay $1500 and I didn’t want to do that again. He vehemently agreed. However like most doctors he completely disregarded that and for some procedures outside of my yearly checkup I was charged $500. Again I cannot afford a huge expense like that on a whim. In addition the issue I was experiencing was never resolved and he essentially diagnosed me with an “I don’t know let’s wait and see if it persists.” So I paid $500 for zero diagnosis and zero actual help. I could go to a witch doctor and it would be more useful. Honestly this dude will barley remember your name and clearly does not respect his patients.

This is a good practice as far as Im concerned. I found it independently on yelp, but then it turns out many women I know go here too. Its fairly easy to get an appointment in the morning or afternoon, and you never wait long to be called. I usually see the nurse practitioner and she is very nice and knowledgeable. The billings department is not as knowledgeable about all the insurances as they good be, but if there is ever a mistake on my bill they correct it immediately.

Hes so nice - he was pleasant and had great bedside manners. He is very knowledgeable- we went through all of his and my questions and concerns and he had answers. Lastly, during the exam he was gentle and worked quickly.
