I would recommend this birthing center to everybody! I had such an amazing experience. The team of midwives were awesome and so supportive and knowledgeable and well trained. I actually looked forward to all my prenatal appointments, they were all atleast 30 minutes long and I never felt rushed and I never left without feeling satisfied. Maya, the owner, is such a comforting and loving person, she always made us feel at home when we were there.Aside from my prenatal appointments, my labor and birth went so quickly and smoothly. I believe the loving and comforting atmosphere there is what made me have such a quick and efficient labor. Also, my whole family was welcome there during labor unlike hospitals. And the best part was we could go home 4 hours after the birth!If you’re thinking about using a birthing center instead of a hospital I highly recommend Bliss, you will not be disappointed.

I recently gave birth at Bliss and it was the most empowering day of my life. I am so grateful for the safe space that Maya has created at Bliss for mothers and families. Every single person I met when visiting was so caring, positive, and encouraging. My midwife, Michelle, is such an amazing person! She truly cares, she always actively listened, and made sure my questions were thoroughly answered. I couldnt have felt more prepared and in control of my birth day. On top of everything this center has the most warm and welcoming set up. The birth room gave me so much peace and calmness! I am forever grateful to everyone at Bliss!

I recently had the pleasure of giving birth to my son at Bliss Birth and Wellness Center and I cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the owner Maya, the friendly staff and the homey ambiance. The birthing suites were clean, cozy and inviting, and it made me feel like I was at home.The midwives were amazing and provided me with personalized care and support throughout my prenatal care, labor and delivery and postpartum care. I worked closely with Michelle and can’t thank her enough for giving the best care to my son and I throughout the entire process. Michelle, along with Maya and the other midwives, listened to my needs and preferences and made me feel heard and respected. Their calm and reassuring presence helped me feel confident and empowered during the whole process.The natural approach of the center was also a highlight for me. They emphasized the use of non-invasive interventions and encouraged me to trust my bodys natural ability to give birth. Michelle was also skilled in helping me manage my pain naturally, which made me feel more in control of the process.Overall, I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to give birth at Bliss Birth and Wellness Center. If youre looking for a place to give birth that is supportive, empowering, and respectful of your choices, then this is the place for you. Me and my wifes experience at Bliss Birth and Wellness Center has been nothing short of spectacular! The owner Maya is absolutely wonderful; she is just as passionate about her work as she is warm & caring towards her clients. Since the beginning, we have received personalized attention from the experienced staff. We especially appreciate the attention received from our midwife Lauren, who has been our guide every step of the way. All in all, we couldnt have asked for better care and we feel extremely lucky to have found Bliss Birth & Wellness Center; its the perfect place for a natural water birth in South Florida!

As soon as I walked through this facility, I knew I had found my birthing sanctuary. I had a clear vision of giving birth with people surrounding me who 100% supported my decisions. Not only were Maya, Michelle, and the per diem midwifery staff the kindest women Ive ever met (literal angels walking on earth), but they helped prepare me for the birth of my dreams. Thanks to their love, guidance and abundant resources, I birthed my little princess on April 21, 2023 in a beautiful and soothing birth tub completely undisturbed and unmedicated despite having nerves as a first time mom. I cant recommend Bliss Birth and Wellness Center enough, and I cant wait to birth all of my future babies here again. The 45+ minute drive here from Port St Lucie is worth every mile!

I chose to give birth at Bliss because I wished to have an all natural water birth. At the tour Maya was super informational and answered the questions that I had.During the prenatal care and appointments the midwives were very caring. They answered all the questions that my husband and I had . The hypnobirthing classes were so helpful during my delivery. The center offered prenatal yoga classes which helped keep me active during my pregnancy which I liked.My labor started off great, being able to walk around, be in the water tub and eat made the labor progress as usual. Unfortunately I was not able to deliver at the center because of complications that was to no fault of bad prenatal care. When I was transferred to a hospital Maya and the midwives were still contacting me and the hospital to make sure that I was in good care. I used the techniques and methods from the birth classes which made labor easier for me.The postnatal care from Bliss was really great because I got my 48 hr after coming home and I was given information where I could be referred to a lactation specialist. I would like to try a waterbirth again for my second child. Bliss is a wonderful place for those who are wanting a natural birth.

Every part of our experience with Bliss Birth and Wellness Center was phenomenal. From beginning to end we were empowered, supported, and uplifted to create our special birth experience. We had the privilege of giving birth to our children at Bliss Birth and Wellness Center. (Twice ) My daughter was born in the Ocean Room in 2021, and my son was recently born in the Moon Room. My wife and I had a great experience! Maya and her entire team of midwives are Amazing! Beth and Carlyle rock! Everyone was very attentive and made us feel like family. Carlee a long with another midwife (can’t remember her name) constantly check on my wife during child birth and I was able to be by her side entire time. Having a water birth was the best way to have a baby! We highly recommend this establishment!

My wife and I were thrilled with our experience with the team of Lauren, Mary, and Maya.From the first week of prenatal care we connected and felt supported by our primary midwife, Lauren. From that point to the amazing moment of having our third child be brought into the world, (pain free according to my wife), Lauren and Mary were professional, friendly and ultimately felt like part of our family.Weve experienced two home births prior to this and enjoyed the flexibility Bliss offered for the birth including allowing our two boys to be present for the birth.We will cherish the birth and the entire process thanks to team at Bliss and couldnt be happier that Maya had a vision for pulling together a team of medical professionals that puts the holistic health of the mom and baby at the heart of everything they do.Thank you Bliss! I had my 2nd baby here in Feb 2023, and it was an amazing experience. The center had me do hypno breathing classes, where I learned how to breathe properly and mentally prepare for birthing without intervention, without these classes I dont think I could of done it! I chose to do my birth in the water, which really helped to keep me focused and relax. It was intense, but totally manageable. The care was amazing! I had the owner, a midwife and a nurse all there. They had the lights off in the room, and the tub had a nice blue light, which really helped me focus. They were so caring and attentive. My husband was nervous doing a birthing center as our first child was born in a hospital, but by the end of the birth he was very pleased with the whole experience. We will definitely be doing it again with our next child.I also want to say the midwives are amazing. I would go to my checkups with my 2 yr old, and they were so good with him. The midwife would let him help her check babys heartbeat, and they had toys for him to stay occupied, and the restroom had a stepstool for him which was amazing! I didnt have to lift him to wash hands =) The midwife was super attentive for my checkups and asked a lot of good questions, it wasnt like a normal OBGYN where your in and out in 2 minutes. I really enjoyed my time there.For the birth I got to get skin to skin right away and they let the cord blood drain all the way before cutting it. I also got to take my placenta home. My mom and mother in law were in the room with us and got to witness everything which was really cool, and they got to help as well. We had my son at 7:27am and were home resting by 2pm. It was a very nice experience. No trauma and doing it without being induced or with drugs made it such an easier experience and I felt rejuvenated and had high energy for days, complete opposite from my first baby in the hospital with drugs and induced.I highly recommend you check out Maya and her team. The place is beautiful and clean and a great experience for the whole family!

I don’t even know where to begin! every time i think about Bliss and my experience there i get a little emotional. i LOVE bliss and i am so grateful for each and every person there.i was 5 months pregnant when i found bliss and i had just moved from the UK to florida. i was so nervous and felt like i was already experiencing so many transitions. they were patient with me and really took the time to explain everything each visit. i love that they took the time to teach me and suggest various options. i never felt limited or forced to do anything. it was truly a team effort. i looked forward to all my visits!when the day came to meet my bundle of joy i felt prepared and i felt SUPER safe. it was easy to reach my midwife and Maya to keep them updated. i was able to have an all natural birth with my baby coming the water just like i dreamed of. i chose the moon room and i’m so glad i did. i rewatch the videos and replay that day often. i’m grateful for Bliss and i HIGHlY recommend.i want to add that every birth story/experience is different. bliss operates from a genuine place of love. so the initial visit is to make sure that bliss is a right fit for each family. i loved that they interviewed me just as i was interviewing them!

The women at Bliss are amazingly wonderful. From my very first conversation with the owner Maya, I could tell this experience was going to be exactly what I dreamed of. Her passion, her reasons for creating a center, and her beliefs on women’s wellness and births are what drew me in lol. She was as sweet as could be too which was just a plus. Then meeting Midwife Lauren was the icing on the cake. She was by far the best midwife I’ve had (came from a practice with a team of over 7 midwives who deliver my first two children). From her nurturing, gentle, and compassionate approach I felt completely comfortable with her. I would highly recommend this team to any of my mommy to be friends. I wish I found them sooner!

I cannot express how grateful I am for the women at Bliss Birth and Wellness. We came to them late in our pregnancy (we moved to Florida when I was 31 weeks), and had difficulty finding a center with availability who were willing to work with us. Maya never made us feel like we were too late or an inconvenience; she invited us to tour the center on our first phone call, and Im so glad we did! The facility is BEAUTIFUL, the tubs are hard-sided and state of the art, and the whole staff is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. Everyone working there is there because they are called to be, and it shows. I immediately connected with both Lauren and Mary, and have told friends and family they are exactly what I had always hoped my midwife would be like. Unfortunately, my baby turned breech at 38 weeks, and despite our best efforts, we were unable to turn him. Due to the late date and baby boys size, I had to have a C-section. Despite that, there was never a moment I felt less than completely heard and supported. Even though it was the total opposite of my plan, I know they did everything within their power to give me the birth I had dreamed of (connecting me with acupuncture, chiropractics, yoga resources, and contacting numerous practitioners about turning my little man). Dr. Tum (the doctor working with the center) was wonderful, and knowing I was nervous, actually presented me with a poem he had written for the occasion the day before the surgery (!!!). After my baby was born, both Maya and Lauren were wonderful about communicating, checking in on my breastfeeding journey, and just ensuring I had an encompassing feeling of community and support. If you are looking for a birth center/ midwife, look no further. This is the place. THESE are your people.

I gave birth to my son on 1/25/2021 at Bliss Birth & Wellness Center. My birthing experience was exactly as the name implies. Blissful. Maya, Mary, Jen, Dr Tum and Dr Stoessel are a dream team to work with. This is what collaborative care should look and feel like. Taking care of the birthing person a whole. It was amazing. They gave me the opportunity to birth on my own terms safely, the support was unreal, and they made us feel so welcome. As a birthworker myself, I have high expectations for the level of care that should be given, and they exceeded every one of my expectations. At this facility, you and your birth matter, the health and safety of you and baby matter, and the level of care is just exceptional.

The Bliss team has been absolutely amazing! I am so grateful to have had them during my pregnancy. Although due to unforeseen complications I couldn’t deliver at Bliss, I am so grateful for them having Dr. Tum who preformed my cesarean and I couldn’t be more happier! I am grateful for the Bliss team being so supportive and informative. I highly recommend Bliss especially for those who want a peace of mind knowing they’re going to be taken care of even if something doesn’t go as planned. Thank you Bliss!

I recently had my first baby at Bliss, and it was a wonderful experience! I received all of my prenatal and postpartum care from them and loved every visit. The facilities are beautiful and helped me have a very relaxed and comfortable birth. The midwives were all so sweet and knowledgeable. Would recommend 10/10.

My wife and I had a great experience at Bliss. All of the classes and appointments leading up to and after the birth of our daughter were very informative. Even though our birth was complicated due to our baby having shoulder dystocia, she was born healthy and strong and couldn’t have asked for a more caring staff during the entire process.

No better place. My wife and I welcomed our third child into the world at Bliss. The experience was by far the best we’ve ever had. The staff is professional and knowledgeable not to mention very friendly and caring. They make you feel like family. The facility is very modern and comfortable. The birthing day experience was top notch. We felt very safe and cared for. Thank you Maya and Lauren for caring for our family and making this experience great! If we have more kids we will be sure to return!

Amazing experience! Everything about my pregnancy and birth was a dream, a full 180 from my previous hospital birth! The facility is beautiful, calm and clean! The entire team is kind, supportive and empowering! Bliss is truly fantastic and I cannot recommend them more ☺️

I went in today for a tour of the facility and had the pleasure of meeting Maya. The facility is clean and well equipped and has been designed with the patient/client in mind. Maya is a very passionate about honoring the birthing experiance and values informed consent as much as I do. If youre the type of person that likes to take an active role in all of your medical decisions then you probably value informed consent as well. Maya and her team are are focused on providing education and resources to empower their patients/clients to make decisions that fit their needs best. Prior to my visit, I read the reviews and noticed that there was one negative review, which made me a little apprehensive about the tour. I am so glad that I went in with in with an open mind, because my experience was wonderful.  I felt heard and valued. There is no judgement. My questions were answered. I feel comfortable reaching out again if I need clarifications on anything else. I like that they have worked hard to bridge the gap between natural birth and conventional hospital birth by working with local providers and hospitals incase of emergency.  Luckily chance of complications are only 0.4-0.9% for healthy moms to be.  I love that their primary goal is to enhance and support the experience of the mom/dad to be, even if it means referral to other birthing options because at the end of the day, safety is number one. Thank you Maya for seeing an unfulfilled need in our medical community and stepping up to fill it.

This is one of the most beautiful birthing centers I have toured. The owner and midwife Lauren were such a pleasure and ready to answer any questions you may have. Definitely give this birthing center a chance.
