Troy Williams, MD OBGYN

I had a difficult time getting an appointment with my previous OB, they were horrible to me. Luckily I found Dr. Williams on multiple websites with amazing reviews from his staff to him. I explained my situation, how I was pregnant few months prior and babys heart stopped beating. The staff at my previous OB, are horrible, heartless, no compassion on my prior lost and my concerns to be seen. As soon as I called to request an appointment the gals were amazing, understanding, followed up immediately and scheduled me for the next day. They were clear, transparent on the scheduling process. I had my visit with Dr. Williams and he is god sent. I am so blessed to have found him. He was understanding, compassionate, and explained everything to me. He made me feel like no matter what he and his staff are in this together with me, like family and not just another patient. I am so happy with the staff and Dr. Williams. - Erika R. No matter what the end result is of this pregnancy I know Im in good hands.

I am using my fathers account to write this review. I first met Dr. Williams in spring of 2020, when he helped guide me through a rather significant health crisis. From the very moment I made my first appointment with Dr. Williams, I could tell this was one of those rare providers who truly cares about his patients and all he serves. Since then I have had several appointments with Dr. Williams and all have been excellent. I have also had other health issues arise and Dr. Williams has guided me through all of them with patience, kindness, incredible knowledge and expertise, and most importantly compassion. Dr. Williams staff is so wonderful, all members of the team truly care and contribute to the healthcare of patients. Appointments with Dr. Williams are extremely convenient as he offers both in person and virtual telehealth appointments. He is accepting new patients and has wide availability and is also flexible with last minute requests when a patient is in need. Dr. Williams also has an after hours line so you can reach him in the case of a true emergency. Thank you so much to my amazing primary care provider Dr. Troy Williams and thank you as well to his excellent staff and team. Dr. Williams is the best! I found him on Yelp after reading all the good reviews. He and the whole staff are always positive and friendly!I have been going to Dr. Williams since early 2016, he has continued to be supportive and positive through a miscarriage and just recently delivering my second baby boy :))! You never get a rushed feeling during your appointments with him or the ultrasound technicians. They are very thorough and listen to all questions/concerns.I initially was interested in trying for a vbac but as my pregnancy progressed and as the due date approached we decided that another c-section would be the best/safest route. I am glad I was able to be a part of that decision and we did have a great delivery and a healthy child! One of the best things about Dr. Williams is that you get the feeling like you are in this together and he is on your team.The prenatal an postnatal care I have received from his office have been the best (especially compared to my first delivery with another Dr) and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else!!

When my husband & I found out we were pregnant again, we did not hesitate one minute to call Dr. Williams. I had such a smooth & enjoyable experience with our first child, that I couldnt see anyone else delivering our 2nd bundle of joy. I was more anxious & scared this second time around because of some complications early in this pregnancy, but I truly trust his professional advice & care. Hes very informative & likes to explain things in a way that you really understand whats going on in your body, and you can feel comfortable asking him any questions or voicing any concerns no matter foolish they may seem. Even at the hospital, when I would mention that he was my OB, I could tell he was well respected and liked by his peers. He takes the time & makes the effort to get to know his patients, and he is one of the most accommodating doctors I have ever met. Hes gentle, kind, and doesnt make you feel like just another patient, but also very knowledgeable, experienced & a true professional. And to top it all off, his office staff is great to work with. They are so personable and made scheduling appointments, insurance issues & maternity leave all stress-free.

My husband and I are first time parents so I was very careful in choosing the OB we were going to use. We found Dr. Williams online and decided to try seeing him and we were not disappointed! After our first visit to his office, which is very inviting and comfy by the way, I thought could he really be this nice and patient in answering all of my questions? But he is! He and his staff definitely over delivered in every area. The office is very clean and always smells good which helps if you have morning sickness.The ladies at the front desk are all kind and helpful especially if you have insurance issues that need fixing (which we did). You can tell they seem to enjoy being there.What I liked most about Dr. Williams as a Dr. is that he NEVER rushed us out of his office. He took his time with us when we had concerns about anything. He was supportive about what birthing plan I wanted and didnt try to push us to do anything we didnt want to do.We delivered at Los Robles which was another great experience! I didnt get to stick to my birth plan 100% because of some complications. But Dr. Williams and the nurses were there to explain things to me and put me at ease about the situation. And I loved that he allowed my mother AND my husband to stay with me during myC-section. Im not sure if thats normal procedure but I sure appreciated it.If you have any doubts about who your OB should be I would certainly recommend Dr. Williams and his team. We love them!

My husband and I searched for very specific qualities when finding the dr. who would guide us through our first pregnancy experience. While I only met Dr. Williams last week, it was instantly clear why his soaring reviews throughout the web brought us to his office. Hes exactly what were looking for - extremely kind, gentle, patient and 100% on board with customizing our birth plan to our vision. His office is stunning, staff very welcoming and sweet, they even sent me off with a pregnancy care and info bag on my way out. The front office staff is amazing and super helpful, Dr Williams was very attentive to our needs and always nice. The ultrasound technician was very knowledgeable and we loved getting updates every time of our babys progress! The one problem is, we did not find out until we were 32 weeks along that Dr. Williams does not deliver babies, period. He is not up front about this to new patients so I feel its important to bring awareness to the mamas out there looking for an obgyn who will also deliver your baby. The dr he transferred us to was also very good, however, had we known from the beginning we would be transitioning doctors in the middle of pregnancy it mightve changed our minds. If its not important to you for your obgyn to also deliver your baby, I say keep Dr Williams!!

My husband and I had a miscarriage, fertility testing, and now a successful pregnancy all under the careful watch of Dr. Williams. He has been an absolute savior for us during these times! He goes above and beyond to make us feel reassured and taken care of. Hes one of those rare gems as a doctor - you can tell hes genuinely invested in the wellbeing of his patients. Love doctor Williams! He delivered my son back in December and I would not trade the experience I have had with him ever! Office is very friendly and often times were able to get me in same day if needed! Dr. Williams always put my son and I first and sat down and reassured me of any worries I have ever had and they also do labs in house as well as ultrasounds same day! You dont have to go to separate buildings and appointments to get things done! Hes definitely a one stop shop that I will go to in the future for all my health care needs!!! 😊

Dr Williams and his staff are absolutely amazing. My insurance changed during my time with him and they worked with my insurance company to make sure that I was able to stay and deliver with Dr Williams. This was my first C Section, but third child. The entire procedure was amazing. I never felt nervous and I was up and walking 12 hours after the procedure. Dr Williams takes time during every appointment to go over any questions or concerns you may have. He never makes you feel rushed and he takes time to explain everything. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Williams!

This man was the sweetest, and his staff was amazing. I am active duty military, and even with the restrictions that tricare has, he gave me knowledge and helped me get anything and everything I ever needed and wanted. Even his post care was great. Ensuring that if any aftercare was needed, it was available! I had an emergency c section with my first born and a planned one with my second born( 18 months apart) and thanks to his skillful hands I have a remarkable amount of feeling between my bellybutton and the insition sights! He sercumsized my son, and it heald nicely even though I was told he really didnt have much of a hood to cut properly. I cant say enough good things about this man and his office must go to!!

I am a healthy young adult who (prior to going to dr. Williams) was very fortunate in that I experienced normal periods with no issues or painful periods. He changed my birth control and that changed quickly. My periods became painful and irregular (I’m talking multiple periods a month) along with developing cysts. As a result of this I was having ultrasounds (the not fun kind) EVERY time I visited (which was very frequent due to the issues I began experiencing). I demanded to be put back on my original birth control after months of pain and issues and what do you know- everything went back to normal over time. Dr. Williams wanted me to come in every 90 days in order to refill my prescriptions. This is an absolute scam as he told me in writing prior my prescription would be refilled for a year. When I called him out on this MULTIPLE times, my prescription was magically filled. I truly felt so used as a patient just for him to collect a copay. That’s not even considering he wouldn’t know pertinent information regarding my health when I would visit (made it very clear he didn’t read my chart) and the ultrasound tech needs some serious work on her bedside manner. Would not recommend and will absolutely never return. Do better.

Doctor Williams is an amazing OBGYN! I was under his care for both of my daughter and I could not have been happier! Everyone In his office is supper friendly and caring including Rosi the ultrasound lady! I recommend him to anyone looking for a great OBGYN, you will not regret it. I am no longer having baby’s, but if I did I would 100% see him again.

After MANY recommendations from fb friends I decided to go with Dr. Williams and so glad I did! He and his staff have always been very friendly, called back when I left messages, and I just felt that my baby and I were very well cared for overall! From prenatal, delivery and to postpartum Dr. Williams was thorough, kind and informative! Couldn’t have asked for a better doctor for my first pregnancy.

Fantastic doctor and great office overall. Dr. Williams is very thorough and his office staff is friendly. He is my 3rd OBGYN and by far my favorite. I have had 2 very difficult pregnancies and he has been very supportive in guiding us through them. He takes the time to answer my questions and provides very helpful guidance. He is very knowledgable and also takes the time to get to know you and address your concerns. I would highly recommend him and his office.

We needed an OBGYN for my care during pregnancy with our 2nd daughter. Dr. Williams is conveniently located in the heart of the Conejo Valley and was eager to accept a new patient. I was instantly impressed with the very helpful and caring staff and up to date techniques, advice, equipment, even the super easy insurance verification/patient registration process (all over the phone before your first appt and his out of network costs are reasonable too). An excellent yelp rating was the only referral I got and twice over I chose Dr. Williams and literally cannot recommend his services enough. I am over the moon and I mean it.... We went back to Dr. Williams for care during my third pregnancy. My oldest daughter who was born at Northridge hospital was not forgotten by the entire staff - she was always eager to get a lollipop and talk about how she is doing with the big changes of having younger siblings in her life. They really care! The office is very clean and the atmosphere is calming... but the best part is the up to date magazines! Even in the exam rooms the magazines will feature the only the current health trends. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Williams for giving me the gift of family. I could not be more satisfied. Los Robles hospital is also a plus! Both times I felt like I was on vacation and Dr. Williams showed up even on Sunday to check up on my recovery. I can go on and on, but if youre ready to have this baby, head over to Westlake Village and get to know Dr. Williams MD.

Having recently discovered that my wife and I are pregnant with our first baby we spent a fair amount of time looking for the right OBGYN - understandably we wanted to feel we were in safe hands from the get-go. Our fist visit at 7 weeks couldnt have been a better experience. The office is beautiful and Dr. Troys staff were all attentive and very professional. Dr Troy himself comes across as an incredibly caring Doctor who genuinely cares about what his patients want. His demeanor and approach are exactly what we had hoped for. We feel so happy we found Dr Troy.

My wife and I had our first baby a couple weeks ago. We were so excited for our little one but also very nervous. Doctor Troy helped ease our tensions tremendously with his calm and cool demeanor. So informative, so patient. He is one of those guys in which you have confidence in right away. A couple months later he safely delivered our little baby and I could not be happier. Strongly recommend Doctor Troy.

Dr. Williams is a super nice guy and delivered both of my children safely, and for that I am grateful. However, the billing from his office is shady at best. People expect Doctors and their staff to bill you only for procedures that are necessary and actually performed. I believe that Dr. Williams office bills WAY more than is allowed/performed for ultrasounds. I did extensive research into medical billing codes and what procedures are required to be performed in order to bill specific medical codes and we were being billed for non-OB related ultrasounds every time we came in for an ultrasound. If you decide to go with Dr. Williams (he is a good Dr.) just make sure you check your insurance bills VERY carefully and make sure that what you are being charged for is exactly what you had done.

Where do I start. If we could give Dr. Williams 10 stars we would. This is one of those times when yelp has far exceeded itself by introducing us to a business we may otherwise not have heard about.After having our first two children at Cedars w/ two different doctors, we werent sure what office wed utilize now that we live outside of the city.Luckily, I came across Dr Williams and we are so happy I did. He is the most personable, kind, genuine and accommodating physician weve had the pleasure of working with. This pregnancy was stress free, in large part, due to him. We are very particular about what we want during pregnancy, delivery and post. All of which he accommodated, with the overall compromise being, safety and health of mom and baby always comes first.He never judged our personal beliefs in regards to medical interventions, whether it be about the number of sonograms, not weighing in every appt, etc etc. instead of attempting to make our birth about his ego and credentials, it was how its meant to be. Tailor fit to OUR family and OUR experience.No question was ever treated as dumb. He always gave us the time we needed to answer questions and he honored our birth plan. Making sure that everyone involved in the process was informed and on the same page with us. Dr Williams allowed us to feel like he and WE were a team which minimizes the anxiety, uncertainty and fear that naturally accompanies giving birth.Ours was a repeat planned c section and so far out of the 3 births (1 scheduled C, VBAC attempt w emergency C then this C) it has by far been the best. I had a lot of scar tissue and he had to work diligently to clean up my insides. Even when minor unplanned things occurred (our son passed meconium) he was calm, patient, positive and reassuring. Just hearing him speak to the other doctor while he worked behind that drape helped keep me from freaking out bc I truly knew I was in good hands.Dr Williams doesnt subscribe to fear mongering or negative thinking. Hes a firm believer in thoughts manifest reality and at times I needed that reminder. He also said in multiple occasions that my safety and our sons meant everything to him and I believed it 100%. I knew he would treat me, my baby and my body as if i were a dear family member and not a number.Hes been to the hospital to check on us everyday w a bright smile, twinkling kind eyes and a hearty laugh. And with this being my last pregnancy Im happy to have shared this journey with he and his wonderful staff of ladies in the office.Dr. Williams THANK YOU!! From the bottom of our hearts.

My journey With doctor Williams after my 1st daughter was born and it was around her 1st birthday back in 2014. I took a test at home and found out I was pregnant but I was experiencing some pain. I scheduled an appointment I my military base to see a doctor. I was new to the base and quickly discovered there was no obgyn on base. I was instructed to find one supported by tricare. I began asking other women in the office for recommendations. I was told Doctor Williams was kind, professional and took tricare insurance. I called the office and explained I needed an appointment but had not received a referral approval from Tricare yet. The nurse April, was so kind she explained it would be taken care of and to just come in. I went to the office and it was so clean and relaxing and so inviting. Everyone was so nice and happy especially others in waiting room. He took a look and confirmed my pregnancy but said we would keep a watchful eye on progress weekly. I continued to go every week but unfortunately I lost that baby at around 10 weeks. He and the rest of the staff were extremely supportive and called to check in on me as the days passed. I had follow ups to see how my body was healing. Doctor Williams discussed options for trying again and helping when I was ready. As the weeks went by and my body had healed we discussed the opportunity and options to try in future. He educated my husband and me on health of mind and body and in three months with his guidance and support we were pregnant. She is now 2. We are very blessed. He didnt stop being amazing there. He helped me get the bracket test done and reassured me with negative results. And just recently he has removed areas of endometriosis and cysts that he discovered in my uterus. He is the only doctor I recommend to all women military and civilian.

Dr Williams and his staff are very nice when you first go in there and make you feel important at first. However as time goes on, they start to fall short in a lot of ways. First off, they will do whatever they can to make as much money out of insurance as they can... Dr Williams was seeing me every 2 weeks acting as if I was having issues I wasnt even having? Just to charge insurance. And when they didnt want to cover one ultrasound Dr Williams and his staff bombarded me for many appts saying I need to switch insurance and making up stories saying they arent covering anything which is not true. So just a warning, make sure they are being honest with your insurance because they tried to pull a fast one on me. Also, every time Ive called I get a voicemail because they never answer! and every time the office says they will talk to Dr Williams he never calls back and he has even said a couple times that they never told him I called. On top of that, I was sent to the emergency room and they never checked on me or contacted me after even though I was asking to talk to him because I was having terrible mirgranes. His on call office would say he just isnt available and thats it... He ended up calling 3 days out of the hospital. Im pregnant and I want better care than that. I suggest if youre looking for good care and someone who is honest, trust worthy, and at least semi attentive, looking elsewhere The care level is very low. They make that obvious.

I was reccomended by many to see Dr. Williams while we were stationed in California. I will start off by saying he is a nice guy. Though, his practice is scary.I left every appointment with a sonogram with our baby boy, which is awesome. I also left with a peice of mind that everything with me, and baby were okay. Though, sadly that was not the case.Upon moving to Florida, my last 3 appointments Dr Williams talked more about how he wanted more online reviews than my own well being. Asking for more Facebook and google reviews and more refferals. He handed me a copy of my medical records and I was on my way.After going through my own chart, Dr. Williams left my Thyroid untreated after being tested at a SKYROCKETING 23.6!!!! Which is not only dangerous for me, but very dangerous for baby and his development! He never mentioned these results to me, nor did he ever check again, or change my RX!He also marked in my chart I was risk for preterm labor almost every visit...NEWS TO ME!Never did I get an OB check. Not even after my miscarriage 1 month before conciving this baby.Today at my new OBGYNs visit, she was floored by reading my chart. Now I have to go see a high risk specialist, for a second opinion. Also need to see an endocrinologist for my baby. Which would have been nice to know and have done EARLY during my pregnancy, not here at 29 weeks!

Not all heroes wear a cape!Dr. Williams is extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring and to top it off, his staff is just lovely! Dr. Williams made my life better (for the rest of my life) and no words can really express my gratitude to him. So...NO MORE LOOKING AROUND LADIES, I highly recommend him!

My Wife was being seen here for the First 2 Trimesters and we loved it. Dr Williams always kept up with her made sure she was doing ok and overall was a great experience. Highly Recommended

AWESOME!! Just pure awesome. He listens, cares and only wants what is best for the baby and mother. I love that about him. He delivered my grandson best experience for us as grandparents too.

Extremely hard to schedule an appointment over the phone considering they never answer and I haven’t received a call back after leaving multiple voicemails over the past 2 weeks. I’ve called about 2-3 times a day for the past 2 weeks during business hours.

Him and his staff is wonderful. He is super great and helped deliver my 4th child and love everything about him.
