I am so grateful to have been referred by a friend to Biosymmetry. I was at a total loss with how to manage my weight and the scale just kept climbing. Working with Dr. Holmes has been very informative. He is great with answering all my questions and fully explaining lab work. No other doctor has taken the time to fully explain what lab results mean for the now as well as what it could mean for the future. I’ve lost 62 pounds and on a solid path to get to my goal. It’s truly not just about the weight loss, but the changes I’ve been able to make along the way that are sustainable. I’m also off all blood pressure medication that I had been on for a lot of years.

I started at BioSymmetry a couple of months before my knee surgery knowing I needed to lose weight. 32 pounds later I feel great! My confidence is much better and I had to buy new clothes. I also got on the Emsculpt machine to tighten and tone my abs and have lost 2 inches. Can’t recommend this place enough. Make your appointment.

This place is so amazing! Dr. Holmes and his treatment has changed my life. I had a hysterectomy at 31 and my thyroid removed in 2011. I struggled with my weight, lack of energy, and overall fatigue. I can’t thank Deb & Dr. Holmes enough for helping me with my high cholesterol brought on by menopause. I eat healthy most of the time and I’m extremely active. However, when I entered menopause, my cholesterol levels rose significantly. Long story short, I never needed statins, I needed hormone replacement therapy. HRT slashed my total cholesterol from 351 to 194 and my LDL went from 262 to 110. If you’re in menopause and you feel like nobody is listening to you, I urge you to talk to Dr. Holmes & Deb. They are extremely knowledgeable about this and they will listen to you. Most importantly, they care. I’m already looking forward to even more health improvements with their help.

I was amazed with the results after receiving the Emsella treatment. I was bothered by urinary incontinence after having a hysterectomy. I can honestly say that after Emsella I can tell a huge difference. The sessions were easy and the staff at BioSymmetry were great! I strongly recommend Emsella and BioSymmetry Wilmington!

I am treated here for hormone therapy. I have also had the Mona Lisa Touch done here. I was plagued with repeat BV, UTIs and general vaginal irritation. I went thru the treatment series and do the 6 month touch ups. I have not had any further issues since taking the treatments. The staff is also great and very knowledgeable.

I’ve been going to BioSymmetry for over a year now for testosterone replacement therapy and have had nothing but a fantastic experience. I am not a fan of needles so weekly injections was not for me but the pellet treatment they offer lasts me 6 months at a time and I’ve had fantastic results. Ive experienced joint inflammation and energy loss over the past several years, so after researching and consulting with Deb, and Dr. Pate, I decided to try peptide treatment (Ipamorelin). After nearly three months of treatment I have been thrilled with the results. After so many months of being on lock down, I was forced to face reality with the amount of weight that I gained. I decided to take my issue to BioSymmetry to see if I had any hormone issues that were causing me to gain weight. It was great to do a full blood panel work up, to see a complete report on myself and get some measurements so I could gauge my success or maybe failure. Luckily I have been successful and have lost close to 40 lbs. This has been a team effort with them, my workout coach and me monitoring my diet. I feel great and am pleased with the results. Went to Biosymmetry after years of suffering with hormone imbalance that my regular doctor said was in good range.After 1 week of testosterone , b12 injections (which I do at home) and progesterone capsules I have not had even one hot flash... My weight has decreased and my body is leaner. The b12 injections work so much better for me than sublingual and when I was on them at another doctor they took them away as soon as I got near a good level and said I didnt need them anymore.I did not know that we needed testosterone but my serum level was 4!!! It is now 275!!! My free t was .9 and now is 4.5 which is normal.And my body feels better. My sleep is better. My progesterone was .1 and is now 1.6 which is a normal range for this phase. My blood sugar is better. My b12 is in normal range. To not have the premenopausal symptoms as much and find out why I was having them and how my partial hysterectomy should have been handled years ago to not suffer now has been wonderful. I will stay with Dr Pate and plan to have another procedure he offers to help with muscular structure after years of being overweight and having big babies and surgeries... I will keep you updated.The staff is phenomenal and will text you back within moments if you need them. I would suggest them for anyone.

The office staff are professional and knowledgeable. The office is clean and serene. I have seen an increase in energy and muscles strength since utilizing the hormone cream Dr Pate prescribed. I spent 23 years in the Marines, upon retirement I had little energy or motivation and wondered if the next 30 or so years were going to be spent as a couch potato. I am so thankful to have found Biosymmentry. The staff is exceptional - so friendly and helpful! My results using the Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) pellets have been amazing. I knew I felt awful - no energy, no motivation, not happy, depressed and sad, unbelievable dry skin , no desire for intimacy with my husband, and the list goes on and on. There was absolutely no reason at all to be feeling that way. After the bloodwork came back my hormone levels were practically non existent so I started on the BHRT pellets right away. I am a 52 year old mother of 3 teenage children. I have always lived a healthy lifestyle and maintained a decent weight but menopausal weight gain was beginning to creep up on me. After a full hysterectomy in December, my body went into a menopausal freefall when my midsection exploded. I tried in vain to mitigate the disaster happening before my very eyes but nothing helped no matter how much exercise I got or how little I ate. I crept from a size 8 to a size 12 in the span of less than a year even though I ate ½ as much as before, switched to a fully vegetarian diet, and exercised 3 times as much. I have been using the Biosymmetry diet(way of life) for 15 months and have lost 64 pounds and I am feeling great. I no longer have to take blood pressure medication. I just recently went for my physical and my bloodwork was great. I am no longer prediabetic, my cholesterol is 125, tryglycerides 55!! My doctor is very impressed. I was also reactive hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) and that has resolved. Dr. Pate and staff are very caring and knowledgeable. They will answer any question that you may have. When I started the implant pellets it was like night and day.. I hurt!!! I went to them, sent my cbc they just said it was normal and to go to a rheumatologist. I had to call to see if they could do anything, but since its a womans hormonal problems I got dismissed again.
