If I could give 1 star I would. I called to make a NP appointment and was told they do not accept self pay patients yet couldnt give me any other reason other than we are only working with commercial insurance, we are a private practice, and its up to the doctor what she chooses to take As where I understand that stance you should also be able to explain WHY you are denying care to self pay patients in particular. My cash is just as good as an insurance companies EFT. Good day.

DONT DO IT! DONT GO! Dr. Reese is the most disrespectful, unprofessional provider/ even woman. Seriously don’t ruin your experience by even dealing with her. You want somewhere where you can feel comfortable and be treated good find literally anywhere else!

I have been going to Dr Reese now for quite a few years. I have a pretty long history of complications and she spent a lot of time with me to review all of them when she became my gynecologist. She makes me feel very comfortable during appointments. I trust her expertise. Her nurse is also amazing. She is always very helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Im so thankful that I chose her as my doctor. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a gynecologist.

Poor poor customer service. I scheduled and paid a deposit for an appointment the next day using my insurance card from my husbands work (I only used this office because they arent booked out until August like everyone else in Winchester and I need something now). they called me an hour before my appointment saying they refunded my deposit and canceled my appointment because I apparently still have Medicaid I didnt know I had and they dont accept anyone associated with Medicaid. Turning someone away for medical care because they once had medicaid is absolutely ridiculous. if Im paying for my insurance I should be able to use it and not be turned away. They are just looking for a paycheck.

Dr. Reese is incredibly unprofessional and has broken several codes of medical ethics and Virigina State law. Under no circumstances would I recommend her.We all know that going to the GYN is a uncomfortable and sometimes vulnerable part of life, and Reese took advantage of the opportunity to belittle and embarrass me on multiple occasions. I was denied care and mu medical records were illegally withheld. Forget recommending her as a doctor, her treatment toward me violates the very way women should act toward one another- with respect.Her assistant, Carrie, on the other hand, is wonderful. If I could go solely to her, I would.

I was a patient for 2 years at this office. I have a long documented family history of health issues. I was trying to be proactive and get forwarded to ultrasounds and other doctors to stay on top of my health, since I have been showing symptoms. Each visit, the doctor would only recommend to put me on birth control and would not listen to my family history. I have unsubscribed from their texts more than 3 times, and I am still being asked to book an appointment with this office. I have called and kindly asked to be removed from further notifications, and I am still receiving phone calls and emails. I do not recommend the doctor at this practice or the customer service.

My wife went to her for some issues. It was good that they took her in right away when she went to set up an appointment. Dr Reese blew her off basically telling that it was hormones and did no further testing to determine the issue. It turned out that wife was pregnant and possibly 4 weeks along but we didnt find out for 3 and a half weeks after the appointment. If Dr Reese took the time to find out the problem. Me and my wife wouldnt experience high anxiety about what was going on with her.

I used to love Dr. Reese’s office! It has unfortunately and very disappointingly become very unprofessional. Empathy and kindness that you used to receive is no longer their practice. The last receptionist was lovely. This one was very rude unprofessional and has no sense of customer service. The moment I walked through the door it was a horrible experience. I just can’t believe it. And then it unfortunately just rolled down hill from there. I am so sadden to say I will never go back. And hope no one moving forward has to experience such a bad experience here or anywhere. Heartbreaking and not one apology for all their hatefulness! I did nothing to disrespect anyone or the business to be treated that way.

I am so impressed. Going to the lady doctor is never fun. The staff in the office were so friendly. The nurse who pre tested me before seeing the doctor was the sweetest and made me feel so comfortable. The doctor was very informative yet friendly. I left with all my questions answered and I will be back next year. If you want great friendly service with a personable sweet doctor... This is the place to go.

Please avoid like the plague. This is the absolute worst Doctor and nurse I have EVER encountered. I had an abnormal pap and was called to schedule a colposcopy. I was told nothing about the side effects, procedure, or before process. Upon arrival I had to sign a waiver about the side effects. At this point, I had some questions. The nurse stated I was informed about everything on our phone call prior. I had her on speaker with my fiancé and we both agreed we were not informed. Nurse became extremely rude and told me she had notations that I was told the information. Nurse then called me forgetful. Dr. Reese then comes in and rudely states, “looks like we are turning this appointment into a consultation instead.” At this point I am visibly crying from the lack of information and disrespect. This DOCTOR proceeds to tell me I am a grown adult and should have called prior to ask questions about the procedure and side affects I was never informed of. She then told me she did not have time for my appointment and we would reschedule. Then, I was charged 7.00 just to fax MY medical records to another ob. This was the most traumatic experience I have ever had at a doctor’s office!

Dr. reese is fantastic. i have had troublesome experiences elsewhere with my OBGYNs, and dr. reese was recommended to me by a friend. we met to discuss birth control options. during this time i was unknowingly going through an insurance change and the administrative staff was able to get everything where it was supposed to go. it took some time but they were very patient with me when i would call in to get updates on my situation. after i was approved, they were able to get me in quickly for the procedure. dr. reese listened to my concerns about pain and side effects, and encouraged me to contact her if anything abnormal happened. as a patient, i really appreciated that. needless to say, this office is now where i will be going for all of my womens health needs.

Seems nice at first until you get to the point where you may need surgery. She will do nothing but push birth control. Then tell you that at over 30 years old you are to young for something when you cant have kids anyways. Age discrimination needs to stop.

Had a bad allergic reaction to a new laundry detergent I had triedWent to Women First in Winchester, VA. The Dr. discussed with me about having a biopsy, which I knew I didnt need. I refused the biopsy and my problem was determined to be an allergic reaction !I got a certified letter in the mail not long after, stating I was being terminated for noncompliance ? ? ?for refusing the biopsy ? ? ?I was informed I could not go there again for any service.Because of this action taken against me, I am very disappointed in how this was handled by what I thought were professionals.

Incredible patient centered care with Dr Reese! I’m so impressed with her desire to always do the right thing for her patients- she truly cares and will advocate for us endlessly.

I would not recommend this practice. Although the doctor is ok, the staff, and the overall experience is definitely lack luster! Some basic customer service training would benefit this practice greatly and communication skills are needed between staff and the physician.

Very caring doctor! I like that she has Wednesday evening appointments. Its great for my schedule. Highly recommend!

Front desk staff is always rude. This practice is not considerate to their clients or potential clients needs. All they care about is money instead of making happy returning clients.
