Womens Center of Winchester

First time to the Women’s Center of Winchester and it was a great experience. First of all, the office is lovely! The office staff were friendly and attentive. Then the nurse was so friendly and nice. I saw Sullivan Doumont and she was so informative and also friendly. It was a great experience from start to finish.

I absolutely love WCW. Dr. DeHaven is not only an amazing and caring physician, she is extremely relatable and treats with humor as well as an abundance of knowledge.The entire staff are incredibly sweet and patient and never make you feel anything other than comfortable as soon as you walk in the door.As a woman, If you are looking for the best staff, doctors and atmosphere, WCW outshines!

Best experience I have ever had. By the time i got to see Dr. DeHaven, I was really sick because I was neglect in another facility. Dr. DeHaven and her staff are amazing!!!! They helped me and informed me in every single step of my care!!!! Everytime I called the staff return my calls and left me detail message (because I was working and never was able to respond) with all the information I need. Their portal is use friendly and every staff respond to messages as quick as possible for them. I was really sick and Dr. DeHaven help me and got my issue take care of even when my insurance was giving us problems. Now, I feel like I got my life back and I feel like a new person!!!!! I will for ever be greatful with Dr. DeHaven and her staff for everything they did for me!!!!

What an amazing practice! Upon walking in the receptionists were so welcoming & kind. The office is beautifully decorated & it instantly makes you feel comfortable. I saw the P.A. Sullivan Doumont. She was very attentive, knowledgeable, caring and took her time with me. She really listened and made my feel heard. Such a refreshing experience . I’m so happy I found this wonderful practice that truly cares about their patients and i will recommend to friends!

I had an appointment yesterday with Sullivan the PA and she was absolutely the greatest. She was the most kindest person ever and she actually took the time to explain all of my womenly concerns and treatment options. I never felt rushed or like Im just another patient. I would highly recommend her.

My first encounter with the Womens Center of Winchester rates a A++++. Everyone was extremely courteous, helpful, and caring. I didnt know healthcare could be so wonderful. ;) Sullivan Doumont, PA, was outstanding!! She took the time to talk with me and get to know me. I was greatly impressed by her professionalism, knowledge, concern, and plans for improving my health. I look forward to future visits with this practice.

I used to LOVE this practice until recently. Recent visits I have seen a different doctor, not my primary, every time. They rush me through my appointment and only seem concerned about how much money they can get out of me as opposed to caring for my health. My recent visit, I went in for a serious bleeding issue and to get my birth control taken out. I told the nurse I did not want to renew my birth control after my extraction (nexplanon). She went back and forth with me trying to convince me to stay on it but my answer was still a hard NO. Once my appointment was over and I went to the front desk, the receptionist informs me she wrote up papers for me to have an extraction AND renewal after I made it clear I DID NOT WANT IT. As for my other issue, I got an ultrasound done on a Tuesday and by Friday I was begging for someone to call me back, multiple messages in the patient portal, and voicemails JUST FOR RESULTS. They FINALLY call me back, tell me there’s nothing alarming, but I need to make a follow up appointment to discuss some things. Refused to tell me what. Whomever they transferred me to got smart with me when I had questions about paying $135 for a follow up (when I just paid $350 for a visit and ultrasound) if there was nothing alarming. Finally I got tired of her attitude and snide remarks and said to just sign me up to come in for the follow up. Her response was “I mean whatever”. I explained to her how I felt like I was not taken care of as a patient, somehow my primary doctor was changed to a women I’ve never even heard of without my consent or knowledge, and it was crazy how I was being treated just for trying to get some answers and figure out if I was ok. THEN and only then she decided to leave it up to the practitioner to decide if I should or shouldn’t come in for a follow up. Very disappointed in this practice and what it has turned into. Will be changing doctors

New to the Winchester area and needed a new OB/GYN. The office was clean, welcoming and very professional. I felt very comfortable with my doctor, her being very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, I felt very comfortable and Dr. Sullivan Doumont had a great bedside manner,, I feel that I’m in good hands with her and my health care.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sullivan Doumont for the first time this week and she was wonderful! Her personality, bedside manor goes above and beyond to make you comfortable in a not so comfortable situation. She has a way to set you at ease. She sits with you prior to anything being done and just gets to know you. I felt like she cared for me as a person and I wasnt a number she was not in a rush to get in and get out the door. I admitted I was nervous due to the change in Doctors and she understood and explained a bit about herself to help calm my nerves. She is a great asset to the office and I look forward to continuing care with her! I want to also say the front office staff is so friendly and helpful along with the nurse that checks your vitals prior to your actual appointment. Everyone is very friendly, A smile goes a long way and they all wear a beautiful one!

All the staff were extremely professional and personable! They were able to fit me, as a new patient, in very quickly. The doctor offered me relevant options based on my medical history, giving me control of my care. This is hard to come by!! The office staff also went out of their way to make copies of my personal documents for me. I highly recommend this practice!!

When medical care goes beyond the office visit then you know you have a great provider. The staff, particularly Melissa Gaudet M.A. went above and beyond helping me resolve a misunderstanding between myself and my pharmacy - she took the time to call the pharmacy to better understand the issue and saved me over $700 dollars on a prescription. During the same phone call she also took additional time to explain the two medications that I was using. If everyone did their job like Melissa the world would be a better place!!! Healthcare, medical care at its best.

I was so nervous about going to The gynecologist due to past experience, but this facility is great. Everyone is so nice and it’s very clean. PA Posadas made me feel very comfortable throughout all my appointments so far. I definitely recommend this facility.

The nurses, receptionists, and the PA I saw were all kind and cheerful. I was able to a get a appointment quickly and without hassle. They listened to my concerns and made recommendations that were appropriate to me. I didnt feel like I was being pressured to do something I did not want to do. I will be transferring my care to this office going forward!

Dr. Kristen Dehaven is caring and knowledgeable & a very competent womens physician. My experience and interactions with Dr. Dehaven and her staff ( nurses to receptionists) has always been positive. I appreciate that Dr. Dehaven makes me feel comfortable and gives me her undivided attention and takes her time to answer my questions. I am very happy with her care and would recommend her to my friends and daughters.

I have been a patient here for less than a year, starting in February this year. After researching different offices, I decided to go with this one based on reviews. I hadnt been to a gynecologist in my entire adult life, and decided to go because two immediate family members had reproductive cancers. I will tell you its probably the best decision I have made. The front office was friendly, efficient, and great with communication. The nurses/assistants are also very friendly, informative, and take the time to make sure you are feeling comfortable . I first saw Adriana Posadas, she was kind, and great at answering any questions. Now for the best of all, Dr Dehaven is wonderful. She takes the time to really explain to her patients their options, the pro and cons of procedures, she still gives them the option of choice whilst still informing you of the safest route. Once the abnormal findings came back they were quick to schedule my appointment and also quick with my paperwork for my work. Dr Dehaven, made me feel safe an comfortable before going into the procedure. I had faith in her abilities, because how informative she was about what I would go through. I would recommend her, and the rest of the staff at the Womens center to anyone. Hands down the best medical facility I have ever dealt with. Thank you.

Outstanding main-stream medical practice. The staff actively listens, responds, and cares about the health and comfort of patients. Actual patient-focused care! The office lay out is functional, comfortable, spa-like, and designed with respect for privacy. Other practices take note, this is how its done!

Great staff and always takes time to have consultation and answer questions. You never feel like just a number and rushed through the office.

I dont know why this office doesnt have more reviews, theyre great! The nurses and doctors are great and the actual decor of the office is so pretty. The provider I saw was absolutely excellent. She answered every question I had and seemed so kind and genuine! I really, really appreciate that because unfortunately its hard to find with gynos. 10/10 for sure!

Connie is the star! She has been so kind and so wonderful with each and every interaction. All the other staff and providers are pleasant, easy to speak with, quick to assist and very educated. As a healthcare worker, I know how hard it can be, but this lady is truly something special and should be the standard we all hold ourselves to!! Bravo Connie and this practice!

My first (and only) appointment here was wonderful. Everyone in the office was so kind including Dr. Doumont. I had a long list of symptoms I was concerned about so she said we’d start with blood work and go from there. When I received my blood work back, I was concerned about something I was considered “low” in but she was not. I advised her my symptoms were still present and she not once but twice shoved me off and told me to seek help with an OB. In between the 2 weeks it took her to respond back to me, I saw my GD who WAS concerned and immediately issued more blood work. I had such high hopes for this office but was SO disappointed.

Dr. DeHaven is fabulous! She makes you feel so at ease and really takes the time to talk to you about any concerns. I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Going to the OBGyn is never something I look forward to but this office is great! Dr. DeHaven is the sweetest doctor ever and makes me feel so comfortable. She takes time to explain everything thoroughly and answer all of my questions. Her assistant and front desk staff are also super nice. The office is well decorated and makes you feel at home. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

Without a doubt the best experience I’ve ever had with a gynecologist. I felt like she listened to my concerns and fully explained all the options I had.

The visit was fine. It was a week and a half later when I went to pick up my birth control that the problem started. I called and left a voicemail asking them to please refill it, given it was a Saturday I assumed they’d call me first thing Monday morning. I was wrong. I repeatedly called and kept getting the voicemail until I finally decided that I would leave another, more stern voicemail asking to please refill my birth control. And again, no response. I then called the “schedule an appointment” line and finally was able to talk to an actual human. Ashley was very nice and helpful and told me it had been refilled. About 2 hours later I get a call from my doctors medical assistant trying to get my information to finally take care of it, but it had already been taken care of. My Doctors medical assistant made it seem like she never got a call/voicemail from me by rudely saying “We are closed on Saturdays” which obviously I knew that and that’s why I had left a voicemail, figuring they’d call but obviously not. Terrible experience for literally just needing an annual refill on my birth control. Very dissatisfied

Having moved from Maryland some time ago, I finally sought out a new gyn provider in my area. Dr. DeHaven and her assistant Melissa could not have been more terrific! The office staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful; COVID precautions were excellent; the facility looks like its been newly renovated. But by far most important is the warm, communicative, and professional care I received today. I felt heard, and the whats and whys were explained clearly. Its great to find a new doctor and practice you know youll stay with.

I am always amazed how at home I feel with this office. Doctor DeHaven and her nurse are caring and make me feel like family. Dr. DeHaven has often taken time to contact me to discuss things about my test results. It is rare to find someone that truly cares.

I very much appreciate this practice. Dr. DeHaven is just the most wonderful physician I have seen. She spent as much time as she could listening to my concerns and answering my questions. Her bedside manners and soft skills are ones Ive only experienced with one other physician before her. Ive moved about an hour away from the area to a bigger city, but I still come to her because I dont think Ill find any physician as good as she has been to me.

My first and only visit on June 27 went really well. I met with Karen, who I thought was wonderful, and Connie was there assisting, also wonderful. I did stress to the front desk upon arrival that I did not have access to the patient portal they ask you to utilize to convey information, and was assured that would be fixed. I was given a prescription I needed.Everything fell apart after that day. I was told I would need to teleconference to review bloodwork lab results,etc, so we set a time for that. An appointment. I arranged to have that call on my work break. I did receive a call from an assistant, but was told I needed to speak to someone else. Someone else called and asked what I wanted. Well, I was told to be on a call, so here I am. She informed me a doctor would have call me. 45 minutes after our appointment time I guess a doctor did attempt to call, but its well past our scheduled appointment and I cant answer because I am back to work.Meanwhile, I have made numerous calls over a span of weeks to the front desk to address the patient portal issue with zero results. I have no access to my health info/lab results.I am also having a abnormal side effect to my prescription. Worried, I begin to try and make contact with this office. Spoke to front desk people. Left messages. After MONTHS of trying, I finally reach an assistant who promises to convey my inquiry and concern. Then I heard nothing back. AGAIN.Called the next day and was connected to the office manager. God help any of you if you have to deal with this woman. May as well go beat your head against a brick wall. Hostile, rude, defensive and seemingly perpetually irate, she proceeded to throw excuses around while throwing everyone under the bus. I should have gone to the hospital for my side effect from prescrip. Ok, well shouldnt I be able to call the prescriber too and expect a response on how to proceed? I did receive a call from a doctor on teleconference. Yup, late. After our scheduled appointment. The doctor did send you a message. Yup....on a service of the office I have no access to and repeatedly tried to fix.She informed me that the front of house was having high turnover/heavy rotation as an excuse for poor service. You never tell customers that. THATS poor customer service. She also informed me that my practioner, Karen, was slow getting back to people, and would no longer be at the practice after December. You never convey negative things like that to a customer. Its an unnecessary slight and looks atrocious. She informed me that an assistant did make a note for someone to see, but it was made late afternoon. I had called in the morning and had actually been calling for days. Her response was that they are very busy seeing patients. Welp, I am your patient lady.So we have a lot of people under the bus now according to this woman. Karen, front of house desk staff, assistants and....me. The customer.I will never set foot in this office again.

I would highly recommend the women’s center of Winchester, from the front desk staff to the providers everyone is excellent. The providers take the time to listen and provide sound recommendations based on the latest research. A+

The Womens Center of Winchester deserves credit where credit is due. I can not stress enough how wonderful everyone who works there is. The atmosphere is inspired by women and is comfortable and welcoming every time I visit. Ladies if you are looking for a new practice to support you in your health, then this is the place. Dr. DeHaven is the best and will work with any issues you may be experiencing. I know going to see a Gyno can be weird and awkward, but I have never felt that way since I started going to WCW. Thank you to everyone who works there for your positive energy and welcoming smiles!

Until today, I thoroughly enjoyed this facility. I am still perfectly impressed and happy with my experiences with Lynda Miller, and Dr. Dabinett. However, the experience I just had with the office manager was a little jarring. 2 months ago I had called the office to double check my appointment for that month, leaving my name and number. I never received a call back about when it was or if they had decided to cancel it or not. When I updated my email back in March, my old email was kept. I was charged for a missed appointment. I accept that, however Im still confused as to why I never received a call back. In fact, I left the office manager a voicemail LAST week and she got back to me today. Understandable, IF she hadnt insisted that I didnt call her last week, although my phone log begs to differ.Furthermore, while I cant recall her exact words, the office manager told me that my name isnt regular and maybe I shouldnt pronounce it the way I do. That perhaps if I had said it in a more normal way I would have received a call back.Those comments were entirely ignorant, and when a phone number is left: you can call back - even if someones name is too much for you.I am extremely disappointed and no longer feel comfortable going here, which is an utter shame because I dont think that behavior is indicative of the work the physicians do.

Horrible experience here, other than the nurse who was kind. Front desk staff was rude and shut the door in my face. Dr. Miller acted like she couldn’t care less about the issues I was having and was very cold when I asked her questions. I had told the nurse all the issues I was having and the nurse wrote them down. Apparently Dr. Miller never looked at my chart before she performed an examination and blamed me for not going over it with her before she started. Will never go back there again. Very disappointed. Have also heard from friends that have had bad experiences there. Also never got a call back about my test results which I was told to give five days but have given over a week. Called back and no answer, of course.Update 10/1: Office manager Susan called me and blamed me for everything. She said “Most people would just call instead of writing a one-star review.” Beware ladies, find a doctor who will treat you with respect and decency.Update: 10/19: I had blood work done on 10/10 by order of Dr. Miller. Nine days later, I have still not received a call with my results and a prescription for an important medication I may need to be taking. Called them for the first time since my lab today and got voicemail. Didn’t hear back over three hours later so I decided to try one last time before they closed, and my number was blocked. Stay far, far away from this place. Really shows how the doctors nowadays only care about money and not about the patients or how they’re treated.

Literally the best GYN appointment I have ever had. I saw Sullivan and she was amazing. She listened, she truly listened and cared. I highly recommend this practice.

I saw Dr. DeHaven and her nurse yesterday for the 1st time because I am having a personal womanly issue and they both were extremely helpful and Guided me to what needs to be done to resolve my issue. They were very kind and took their time with me and explained everything in detail so I understood.I highly Recommend this practice to any woman looking for a great gynecologist.

My appointment today felt like home. The staff were amazing and also Dr. DEHAVEN. They were so friendly and had alot of info even with Covid going on. I would recommend everyone to go there. I never have to worry about not being able to get someone on the phone, they always answer right away or call back within a reasonable amount of time. The staff is very friendly, especially the nurses.

I was seen right away when I had a concern. The phone was answered promptly and I was scheduled next day. I was kindly greeted and well informed. I felt respectfully cared for.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place was absolutely wonderful. It’s so hard to find drs that actually listen but Dr. Sullivan was as kind as can be. She listened to all of my concerns and kept me calm and comfortable. 10/10 recommend.
