Planned Parenthood - Winston-Salem Health Center

Staff are so kind and professional!! They made me feel comfortable throughout my entire visit. I did have to wait a while but they do have a sign saying their wait times are increased, which I found informative. Thank you to everyone at this facility.

The absolute best facility I have ever been a patient at. The facility itself is lovely, great atmosphere, cute furniture, just an all around nice building that is clean and taken care of. The staff are HNADS DOWN BEST Ive ever seen. This is t just their job, the truly care about each person that walks through their doors and you feel that immediately. Super friendly, super caring and incredibly knowledgeable in every area of their practice. I would recommend them to literally anyone thats in need of their services.

A facility dedicated to helping women failed me today. I waited an hour and a half and still hadnt seen a doctor. Complete waste of my time and lunch so I had to get up and leave to get back to my job.When I had gone to another location to get my birth control inserted it was super fast. Now Im stuck with irregular and long periods for however long it takes me to find a different office and make an appointment to get this changed. I feel horrible not being able to get this done in a timely manner. No regard for my time.

Im not sure why this place has such awful reviews. Everyone who works at this location was very kind and nice. Made me feel comfortable. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. Id definitely recommend to others.

Stressful to just be seen, seems they have little flexibility for scheduling but have no problem with making people wait. Cant seem to see the same doctor twice which makes follow-ups unnecessarily complicated.

I get gender affirming care here and the staff are always super respectful, informative, and kind! The wait times can be long but its worth it to receive such affirming and thorough care from my doctors 💞

They called me on the day of one of my appointments to tell me they didn’t have any nurses on duty and that was really unprofessional and they called 30 mins before my appointment. I couldn’t get the procedure I wanted. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. Sorry not sorry!!! They need to do better!

As a trans person visiting this office was nice, they’re always nice and make an effort to use my correct name and pronouns. I’ve never felt like I’ve had to defend myself or argue in order to be respected and/or taken seriously. They’re very nice.

This clinic is costing me my job because they wouldnt fill out my FMLA paperwork. In order to have the days off necessary for my procedure my job told me I had to use a medical leave. If Id known this was going to happen I wouldnt have even had my procedure. You couldnt pay me to ever rely on Planned Parenthood ever again. Anything you need from Planned Parenthood you can get from your gyno, obgyn and even your general doctor. I wish I had never come to them, and I hope you dont either.

Everyone that works here is fantastic. They checked me in quickly and efficiently. Everyone is extremely nice and very personable. There’s a much more “down to earth”, person to person feel here than any gynecology office I have been to. Which I love. I felt so at ease even with the IUD insertion that I was feeling slightly nervous about. The medical professional talked to me the whole way through making me as comfortable and enlightened as possible. I would highly recommend this facility.

I have never had a bad experience at this facility. I absolutely LOVE my doctor, I have seen her for pap smears and acute issues and she is very knowledgeable and accessible. I feel very comfortable and safe discussing my health and asking questions. Yes, you may wait a little while, but they are working with a small staff and have a high demand. Personally I 100% believe it is worth my time to wait for good care.

LOVED this place. The person at the front was extremely friendly and courteous. Very kind and explained the process of checking in very well. Only waited for a few minutes before I was called back. The person who did my initial screening and questions was also incredibly nice. She made jokes and really helped me to feel at ease here. She answered all of my questions to the best of her ability and made me feel like a person instead of a patient or customer. Then I met Nona, who is GREAT. Incredible personality. Nona filled the room with joy when she walked in. She answered all of my questions and made a few different recommendations while explaining the pros and cons of each one. Then, we made a choice together about my health. I really appreciated how personal and patient she was with me. She even answered some of my questions that werent relevant to that specific appointment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs it. If I could give it more than five stars, I would.

Ive set up an appointment with this facility only to get contacted by the Raleigh facility. I didnt pick up the Raleigh number That called since I wasnt aware they would be the ones calling. Then when I called the number back I find out its Pp , which they informed me was the emergency line and directed me to the Winston number which I originally was supposed to receive the call from. When I finally spoke to someone she stated it was the wrong number and gave me the VA PP line.. feeling hopeless I set up another appointment for today and was prepared to pick up any number that called and no one even called me at all.. I dont understand this place sucks. Then docasap wanted me to review as if Im going to say something positive about an appointment I didnt have. Makes no sense at all dont recommend.

Very nice and helpful staff. Everything was explained in detail and more than happy to answer any questions. Yes you might be waiting 4-6 hours but it didn’t feel that long at all. The staff were very nice and helpful and I would highly recommend this place. A nice and clean waiting room too that made it comfortable for anyone there. Overall, very pleased and impressed with their work.

No one ever answers the phone! I made an appointment for an iud removal and new insertion. I get to my appointment and they tell me that they don’t have any! Someone could’ve easily called me before I took the day off and drove all the way up there. Makes no sense. When I asked when they would get more they didn’t know. Waste of my time.

Staff extremely rude and unprofessional. They were 50 minutes late to the appointment and do not abide by their own client/patient bill of rights in regards to visitors. Avoid this site if possible and go elsewhere.

I had to schedule two appointments and I have not been email url for the waiting room telegram which is not a good ideal. When you call you have to wait like 30 minutes on the phone just to tell them you have not gotten the url for the waiting room and I am still on the phone with them. either have more people to answer the phone or stop doing telegrams all together

They really do care.I was fortunate enough to find out about Planned Parenthood after I had to relinquish my health insurance. I have been using Planned Parenthood for about a year now and I can tell you this clinic really does care. Not only are they just very warm, welcoming, judgement free and informative. But they really go the extra mile for their patients. I can only imagine that dealing with the public is hard enough, especially in the health field, but they never show it. The current staff and management really seem to be work well. I highly recommend anyone in the area or the surrounding areas of piedmont to go to the Winston-Salem clinic.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! if you looking for care, look else where!

The doctors here are great but getting ahold of somebody is a nightmare. Ive been trying to reach someone about my prescription- as it was written by a doctor not supported by my insurance- and so has my pharmacy, for over a week now, with no luck. no matter how many voicemails i leave, they never get back to me, and staying on hold takes literal hours. please do better. i need my hrt.

3.5 HOURS behind to my appointment. The appointment times are quite literally irrelevant and the staff do NOT value your time at all.

Trying to get medications refilled through this clinic is almost impossible. I got overcharged for having to talk to the actual receptionist because she forgot to send the prescriptions to my pharmacy. This time they sent the wrong medication instead and Im so done with this place.

Love this place and the women staff here. Making an appointment was quick and easy. The staff here are very friendly. My waiting time was very quick and i was in and out in perfect time.

Worse experience ever!!!!!People were not acting professionally at all.Their reviews is either 1 or 5. I suspect some of those 5 are fake reviews that the employees created to help them for how bad they treat people there.

The staff was so incredibly kind and genuinely made me feel so comfortable during my exam. Everyone was warm and so sweet!

Slow, messed up from day one when appointment scheduled wrong. The time and wait is ridiculous. I will not be returning. I should have went up the street to Lyndhurst.
