I just want to thank this place and the people that work here for their amazing help. I flew in from Texas to get my procedure done and they didn’t not judge and were completely understanding and were so sweet to me. They also got me in contact with organizations that help out with funding. It wasn’t an easy decision to go through with it but they made me feel welcomed and made the process easy. Thank you everyone that works here for everything you do.

I came here all the way from Georgia to get a surgical abortion at 14 weeks after learning that it was very unlikely my baby would survive. There were places I could have gone to in states closer to Georgia, but when I called this clinic, I just got a good vibe from Elizabeth and went with my gut feeling. The quality of care here was worth every extra penny I had to spend to come to NM from GA. I was so scared and sad that I had to do this, but each person I spoke to was so kind and patient with me. They even gifted me a book called “A Time to Decide, A Time to Heal: For Parents Making Difficult Decisions About Babies They Love.” I don’t remember much from the procedure, but I do remember how they asked if I was ready for each step, how they checked on how I was feeling, and how the doula distracted me by talking about books with me. The people who work here are superheroes and I can’t thank them enough for making this as comfortable for me as possible.

Southwestern Women’s Options did an amazing job with my surgical abortion. I was so nervous when I came in and the staff did great at comforting me. They were very thorough at explaining everything that they were doing. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns and fears. They made the experience relaxing. When I was having the procedure, I was very nervous and the staff talked to me through it and helped distract me. I liked that they played soft music and dimmed the lights. I have a long history of trauma and the staff did an incredible job at being trauma informed. I’m very grateful to have had such a great care.

I cannot begin to thank everybody in this clinic. They made the worst time of my life so much easier than I ever thought. I cannot believe how organized, kind and understanding everyone are. I was pregnant with a sick baby and the condition were not compatible to life. We found out right after Christmas. Sadly, we live in Texas and abortions are illegal here even for medical reasons… which is ridiculous and heartbreaking. Long story short, I first got an appointment somewhere in Colorado, they definitely lacked professionalism even over the phone… I was so lucky to hear about this clinic in Albuquerque, and despite being busy when I spoke to them about how desperate I was, they helped me get in first week of January 2022. The front staff, the nurses, the wonderful doctor they were all just amazing. As soon as I arrived, I had to deal with the protesters outside of the clinic (same people writing the nasty reviews here), yelling at me and my husband that “turnaround from this place and save your baby”, imagine with all the pain that I was going through, a bunch of rootless humans, having no idea the pain you are going through and yelling at you and saying something like that. But as soon as I stepped in, all the staff were so nice that helped me forget what happened out front. My husband and I thank you with all our hearts. You people deserve a gold medal every day, you are so brave and strong for dealing with all the small-minded, selfish people with zero respect and understanding for others, and despite all of that, helping people desperately in need and at difficult times of their lives. Thank you.

I couldn’t thank the staff and doctor enough!!! I recently had my abortion procedure on the 30th of this month and everyone was amazing! From the front desk staff, to the nurses, the counselors and the doctor herself. I wish I could thank each one of them individually after taking such great care of me after my procedure. I felt so safe and comfortable, they truly care about you and don’t make you feel uncomfortable or make you doubt your decision. They work with you and make sure you feel confident in your decision and talk you through each step of the procedure and make sure you know exactly what to expect afterwards. I went in so nervous and worried I wouldn’t feel taken care of but I genuinely enjoyed the experience despite the circumstances of my situation. I had to drive all the way from south Texas to be there but they accommodated me and made me feel welcome. I left feeling better knowing I made the right decision for my family and I couldn’t be more grateful for everyone at southwestern women’s options to making this easier and taking me in with open arms and reassuring me I was safe. Thank you a million times ! I will carry your kindness with me forever.

Anyone wanting or needing this procedure done this is the perfect place you’ll feel right at home with no worries. This was my first time getting the procedure and it all went smoothly in 2 days and they talk you through each step that is happening and are patient with any questions or concerns you have and are understanding of any situation ur in. Everyone here is very polite and welcoming the ladies in the front desk are friendly and the doctors and counselor are so professional and are there with you every step of the way during the process to make sure your comfortable and well i couldn’t ask for a better people they are truly a blessing

I came all the way from Texas ,and all of the staff was absolutely amazing. My case was very high risk,and me and baby were both in danger. The guy that did my ultrasound was so kind. I did not want to see the ultrasound, but he still told me everything I wanted to know about it. The nurses,staff counselors ,and doctors were so supportive and helpful. They said they were gonna take good care of me,and they did just that. Women supporting and fighting for women is a beautiful thing. I really appreciate all of you guys. My experience was stress free and pain free. I felt so comfortable 😌 kudos to you all.❤

Nothing but great things to say about this clinic and everyone inside. I came from TX and from the first time I called them to my appointment they were amazing. The staff are compassionate, caring, and informative. Southwestern women’s options is a safe & welcoming environment for women undergoing abortion. they helped me feel so comfortable during my procedure & talked me through the entire thing. i was very scared going into it, but once it started my nurse, counselor, & doctor did an outstanding job at helping calm my nerves. thank you all for your hospitality. i would highly recommend this place to any woman seeking abortion care. i came all the way from oklahoma & was able to receive financial aid through the programs they offer!!

This place is totally first class care. The people here are amazing, they help women in the darkest times when no one else will. This clinic saved my life!! They are completely professional and clean especially during covid. They were very affordable and understanding. They are one of the only clinics in the country that offer this type of help to women. I would have not made it through everything without the people who work here especially the nurses.

Everyone in the office was wonderful and welcoming . They take time to truly learn and get to know you. They made every step of a hard decision so much easier . Its taken a very long time to feel even just a little bit comfortable talking about this. I still have a hard time and feel its nobodys business but my own, but I did want to take the time to give Southwestern Womens Options 5 stars because they were unbelievably amazing the whole time I was there. They were caring, understanding, gave me all the information I needed on precautions, complications, what I would feel before, during, and after the proceduit. They even sent me home with some stuff I was going to need for a whole after the procedure. I cant thank them enough for helping me through an extremely rough time in my life and an even harder decision to make. Thank you to ALL the staff, and I commend you for the work you guys do and how well you do it.

I have absolutely nothing but GREAT THINGS to say about every employee at this Clinic. I came from TX alone and they treated me with every ounce of kindness. Every nurse was kind and sweet, I recommend them for any woman needing Help. They are AMAZING

Very disappointed, I paid $85 dollars for an ultrasound and it was a complete waste of time and money I barley have. I wasn’t even there for more than 15 minutes. It was done so quick and no information was really shared about the ultrasound besides if there’s 2 babies do “you want to know” and how many weeks the baby is! They didn’t even say if there was a heartbeat or offer any help or something of that matter. They charge you $85 dollars and don’t even ask if you want to keep the pictures or anything. In my experience they just took them and sent me on my way. Now I can’t confirm my pregnancy and have to go to another place.

Had a very comforting experience everyone was so kind and helpful and more than welcoming sweetest woman I can’t even explain the words to say these staff here treat you like a real person ! I appreciate everything everyone did for me and how well they treated me 👍🏼 You can always tell a difference between hospitality and service highly recommended coming here for any help with what you have going on they are here to support YOU!! The care was exemplary all aspects of treatment and care were explained. They gave explicit instructions on what to watch for after we returned to our room. If anything didnt seem right we were to call them and someone would be right over. After spending a full day there we went back to our room to rest. Experienced some light cramping took my meds slept got up went back to clinic where everyone was caring and compassionate. I was glad to know that they would come to my room if I needed them too. They were Professional and non-judgmental.

I dearly appreciate the compassion they showed me. My Doctor gave is time to think and make sure of our decisions. I could see it in her eyes that she was taking this seriously and she wanted me to be sure of my decision. I appreciate the level of concern. We came from out of state and they had me in and out quickly because I had to be back home the next day.. Im trying not to get personal on here but when I look back on my journey I will always remember the humble staff...

It’s been a year since my last visit and I just wanted to give a huge thanks for this clinic. I appreciate everything the staff does to be so patiently kind and genuine. They make you feel safe and respected. Thank you so much.

Drove from Texas with my mom. There was only like 3 protesters outside who were far back from the entrance and didnt bother me much. Everyone there was so nice and you can tell they care about you and your well being and wanna make sure your as comfortable as possible. You go and check in, wait to be called for an ultrasound (which you can skip if youve already had one as long as you bring the papers for it. I forgot mine lol.) Then you wait to talk to a counselor before your procedure. The counselor was very nice and understanding and went over any fears I had about the procedure and answered any questions I had. Asked about how I was feeling to make sure I was in a good head space and validated any concerns or fears I had. Went over the paperwork you fill out which you can do online before hand. Went over the medications I take and I made sure to check with them about that being okay with the medicine they give you for the procedure. It was, it was fine. Also went over birth control options if I wanted that. Procedure went smoothly, took less than 10 min. My nurse named wraith, who got me ready for the procedure, (idk how she spells it), was so nice and cool, made sure I felt good and was comfortable. Asked if I wanted to see the scapula tool (holds ur vagina open, doesnt hurt or anything) and told me how it would feel and how everything would go and how to position myself while making sure I was comfortable. She talked with me during the procedure and let me know what was going on and we talked about our pets with eachother which was nice and distracted me. Im sure if you didnt want that though, they wouldnt do that. I just initiated conversation. Gave me medicine before procedure which just calmed me down some. Theyll give you more if wanted. During procedure just felt some pressure below abdomen, wasnt bad. Afterwards, sat in other room for couple minutes eating crackers and Sprite. Was given a bag with some ibuprofen and pads and got to have my ride pick me up. I had a great experience with them. Everyone was so nice and comforting, I highly reccomend this place. (At the time of my abortion I was 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I think they do abortions till 32 weeks though).

Wow….So nice, not judgeful, very respectful staff and workers and doctors🙏🏻 While being in the lobby I was nervous but once they called my name and went to do the last step…. Counselors were so calm and hyping me up and being by my side. Thank you and I recommend ANYONE to come to this place ❤️🥹

I can tell by the reviews that the terrible ones are mostly from “men”. Who have no say on this place. I personally had a wonderful experience and was well taken care of. Never felt unsafe nor unsure about the information that was given to me. They make sure you understand the procedure, the RISKS, and the aftermath of how you’ll feel. Never ever sugar coated things but told you exactly what they are doing and willing to answer ANY questions you have. Constantly have someone with you by your side the whole entire time, checking your vitals every 30 minutes, and making sure you are comfortable. Remember ladies. YOUR BODY. YOUR CHOICE. No one can tell you otherwise. Do what YOU feel is right. I have no regrets with my decision and happy that I went to this place with a positive experience.

The care the staff has for their patients here is unreal. Wether you are from in town, out of town, 2000 miles away from home, they make sure you are comfortable every step of the way. I never felt so at ease being in a place like this and that wouldnt of been possible without the front staff, nursers, counselers, and doctors. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for this type of procedure. Just know you will be well taken care of through every second. I cannot thank them enough.

Incredibly kind and compassionate staff! The customer service is beyond great and the staff is incredible understanding and comforting. Outstanding staff. I appreciate the memory box and coordination with a funeral home.As a husband and father, our family unfortunately discovered an abnormality which is a significant development issue. Our baby would not last 2 weeks post birth. This was not an easy decision, every situation is different. I guess families will never be able to convince protesters on not continuing a pregnancy even if this is the best for a baby and family.Its still interesting to us that protesters will demonstrate on the sidewalk, but not try to understand baby health and what abnormalities significantly effect development and limited life IF a baby lasts post birth.Lastly and most important, the staff gave top quality care to my wife. Thank you for such a positive experience through this difficult time. The memory box is a nice touch.

I went here for the surgical procedure yesterday and the staff was incredible, from beginning to end. I am so grateful to you guys. I am so glad I chose this facility.

Let me first state that we are pro-life. To give this clinic a bad review just because they do abortions is wrong. Sometimes these procedures need to be performed when there is no chance of life for the baby. That was the case with my daughter. At 23 weeks, she found out her sweet baby had no brain and a malfunctioning heart. She never felt her baby move. Tragically, the baby was not going to make it and was not growing. Horrified of even getting near one of these places, we feared the worst. We were told there would be protesters, and there were. My daughter bravely approached them to let them know this was not her choice and that she is pro-life. They hugged her, gave her a gift bag with kleenex, finger nail polish etc., and even prayed for her. These are not the typical rude protesters you see on T.V. Once we got in the clinic, we were taken care of with compassion and respect. They had counselors there and spoke with you often. Its a 3 day procedure for those who didnt know, and they called every night to check up on my daughter. They gave her a book written by someone who had gone through the same thing as well as a prayer. A memory box was also given to my daughter with her babys last ultrasound pics, a teddy bear, and the blanket her baby was wrapped in when she got to hold her afterwards (no visual of the baby, as she was totally wrapped up). They also gave her the babys hand and footprints to keep (she chose to use a softball for the babys feet). A local funeral home also provided free cremations for babies that have not taken a breath. We were overwhelmed with the care, comfort, understanding, sympathy and over all class of the clinic and their employees and doctors. This is not a chop shop. I overheard someone on the phone recommending adoption to the caller. I cant thank these people enough for their love and compassion they showed my daughter over this horrible experience she had to endure. Do not hate on this clinic. They are a class act. I would never wish this upon anyone. But the experience was less tragic here and we thank them for how we were treated.

Dan the RN energy is so pleasant . The black young lady with the colorful braids is so comforting and really kept my sprits up through out the process . REALLY THE WHOLE STAFF IS AWESOME ! I thank god for this facility abortions can be hard they made it easy and honestly CARED .

I have yet to visit the location, but based solely on my phone experience, I am about as at-ease as possible prior to my upcoming abortion appointment thanks to Molly May (sp?). She has been the one working with me since day 1, giving me tons of information and resources and checking in with me every few days to make sure that I am doing well and see if I need help with anything as far as contacting funding groups, etc. She has been SO kind, and has listened to every single concern I have expressed and comforted me as I cried on the phone. I expected to be dealing with individuals lacking emotion or empathy because of the line of work they are in, but Molly has been nothing short of delightful. I dont believe this experience could be going any better than it is, circumstances being what they are. Molly has made the process as simple and straightforward for me as possible and has eased my mind enormously.

To the people complaining about late term abortions, you have no IDEA what some of these women are going through, some of these women have to end their wanted pregnancies due to development issues with the fetus, chromosome issues, or risking their own health to give birth to a baby who may not make it past the first week. The staff that work at this office are knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding of every womans unique situation and provide counseling during this difficult time .

The people here are the most kind, and passionate individuals I have ever met. If you’re looking for this type of procedure I wouldn’t pick any other place.. the staff and councilors are outstanding professionals that love what they do. They will make sure you’re taken care of in every single way possible. I am forever grateful that a place like this exists for women. Thank you for all that you do!

One of the nurses or staff member has a coat hanger tattooed on her left arm. There are no words how disrespectful and unnecessary this is. Even if the tattoo isnt for what I think it means she should put a bandaid to cover it up because that is beyond insulting

Compassion and understanding during a very difficult time.I was looking for reviews for this facility when I was looking for information about it and couldnt find much, so now that Ive been through this experience I want to add mine.In November 2013 I chose to terminate a much-wanted pregnancy at 19 weeks due to a newly-diagnosed fatal chromosomal anomaly. My options in my home state of Texas were sharply limited due to recent law changes (no clinics near me could perform the procedure), so I was referred to Southwestern Womens Options in Albuquerque.Everyone I dealt with at this facility was very kind and sympathetic about my situation. While there was some pain involved with the procedure for me, it was fairly quick and there were no complications. Also, the clinic is very helpful to those who need to come in from out of town (funeral home, counseling, a nearby hotel, etc.).

This was a wanted pregnancy but due to medical issues and because it wasn’t viable I had to have the abortion pill. Alexis treated me with kindness throughout, the male nurse (I forgot his name) called throughout the week to make sure I was okay physically and mentally. It was the worst time in my life but I was treated with grace and respect and my mind on abortions and later term ones changed.

The staff at Southwest Womens Options are the most caring and wonderful people. I am so thankful that they are able to help women from all over the United States obtain the care that they need.

Now where do I start with this place?From the start,I was on the fence about this place before going here.I did a little research on them prior and I saw a few articles of them previously having blood on their hands.I was able to find a few incidents where a few patients have past in their care or after having procedures done here.So I attempted to go here for a procedure,which they half did the procedure.Next thing I know,I am in an ambulance going to the hospital.The hospital was to finish the other half of the procedure.Now dealing with these people, it is like taking a multiple choice test, you don’t know what is true or false coming out their mouths.This clinic told me that I was bleeding heavy,so they had to send me to the hospital to finish up the other portion of the procedure.Now, I think about it, it was probably a lie. First of all, the hospital they sent me to,UNM(Children’s)Hospital,accepts aborted babies from them. This enables UNM hospital to experiment on aborted babies.Here is the kicker,without the aborted babies mothers’ consents.Second of all,when I checked the records of this clinic,it seems like alot of women that come to them for procedures,end up getting rushed&hospitalized with UNM hospital, just something to think about!Now back to my initial review!This rachet clinic sent me over to this Grade D rating hospital,to have them finish the procedure. I think this clinic from the start knew my situation, which I was being targeted by this program(TARGETED INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM).They were so hungry&thristy to partake in the DESCRUCTION of me. I know they got a kickback from the program for playing their part in implanting me with RFID&NANO chips. Now the clinic themselves didn’t do it, but UNM hospital DID THOUGH!Yes, they finished the procedure but also finished me off by implanting with those RACHET RFID&NANO chips.So guess what,since the court systems don’t want to hold these clinics,hospitals,dentist offices,etc accountable for their actions, I will find a way to hold them accountable on my end.What they are doing to people(GOVT name-TARGETED INDIVIDUALS) is unethical and unconstitutional.So if I were you, I wouldn’t go here, find another TRUSTWORTHY place to go for your services.I wouldn’t even send my WORSE ENEMY to this rachet clinic. They are mad FAKE acting, like their care about you and your situation. All they care about is staying AFLOAT,OPENED and getting that money from you&whoever else will give it to them.PLEASE STAY AWAY!

Upon doing research of this womens healthcare facility, I have found it is the exact opposite! There are countless instances of botched procedures resulting in women being injured to the point of losing their ability to have children if they so desire and even DEATH! Look up Keisha Atkins. If there was a zero star rating this place would get one.

I feel extremely grateful to the people who work in that wonderful place, the welcome from the girls was incredible and they made my process a little less painful, the counselor had incredible support because unfortunately she had a beautiful baby with Turner syndrome with accumulated fluid in all of her little body and heart my diagnosis was that she would have a miscarriage or die when she was born, but my well-being would also be compromised for the duration! But these people are too incredible loving, with a sense of humanity, great! I will appreciate your work and courage all my life, I admire you and I wish that God always continues to provide you with love for your work so that you continue helping

My friend wants to terminate her pregnancy and she contacted this clinic and they told her that it would be free. That seems a little strange to me because in this country things are not so simple, especially if it is an abortion. Im really a little scared about this situation, someone telling me what they believe about this
