Love working with Dr. Lindermann. He’s been around for both of my boys being born alongside with Dr. Adams. (Miss ya doc!) I was so happy to be able to follow him over to this new clinic. They take care of you with the best of care and kindness. Thank you for a job well done!

Dr. Lindemann is great. I had him all throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. He delivered my 9.8 lb baby with zero complications or intervention’s. After delivery I got an IUD placed a few months later and have also had zero issues with it. This is my second IUD, but first place by Dr. Lindemann and hands down the entire experience was better with him. It was a small pinch and have had no problems with it since insertion. I’m not one to leave reviews unless I genuinely recommend something. He listens to what you have to say and values your input and what you feel is going on. His MA has also worked with him for a long time and knows him very well. She makes things run incredibly smooth already anticipating what he may need done such as urine samples or certain supplies being ready to go so that he can take care of what you need that much faster. Great working team, thank you!

Dr lindemann is so amazing!! He did my 2nd endometriosis surgery and I’ve never felt better since. He met me at my pre appointment and before and after my surgery. The staff was also so amazing. He had an entire plan to get me feeling better and he made sure of it himself. Dr Lindemann and his staff are so amazing!!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Lindemann and his team enough! He is extremely knowledgeable and incredibly kind. After reviewing my symptoms, Dr. Lindemann recommended excision surgery to best treat what was diagnosed as Endometriosis. The surgery was successful and I am super greatful to Dr. Lindemann for his excellent care pre and post-op. He continues to be such an excellent example of what you should have in a provider. He provides holistic treatment and is a highly skilled surgeon. Look no further for a laparoscopic excision specialist for endometriosis in Alaska!

Dr. Lindemann delivered two of my babies and also performed the Acessa procedure on a uterine fibroid. My first delivery with him resulted in a C-section because the fibroid was blocking the birth canal. Afterward, about 3 years later, I had the Acessa procedure to shrink and soften the fibroid. By the time I was pregnant again, about a year after the Acessa procedure, the fibroid was still somewhat large—nearly 8 centimeters—but it seemed to have softened, as I no longer felt it as a major nuisance internally.Dr. Lindemann took me on as a patient for my next pregnancy, since he had done the surgery and monitored the fibroid closely. It was present early in the pregnancy, but over time, it stopped showing up on the ultrasounds. He performed another C-section to avoid any complications. To our surprise, during the C-section surgery, the fibroid was completely gone—not just from the ultrasound, but physically no longer there.Initially, I had hoped he could remove the fibroid altogether during this scheduled c-section, which can be risky, but there was no longer a need. In my opinion, the Acessa procedure softened the fibroid (which is normally quite hard) so much that it couldn’t withstand the pregnancy, breaking apart and being reabsorbed or dissolved into my body as smaller tissue.Dr. Lindemann is very progressive and open-minded, not stuck in old, conventional thinking like some doctors. He has been incredibly supportive and a great help during both pregnancies and deliveries and in managing my once very stubborn uterine fibroid. I would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with womens health issues or just seeking routine care (including prenatal care). Thank you!

The field of reproductive care is incredibly intimate and tender for so many women. Dr. Lindemann and his staff understand this and prioritize trauma-informed patient care.My midwife referred me to Dr. Lindemann for a second opinion following a disturbing consultation with another Ob-Gyn in town. When I met with Dr. Lindemann for the first time, I was scheduled for an hour long appointment. Instead, Dr. Lindemann took nearly 1.5 hours with me to describe his philosophy of care and talked me through the pros and cons of various treatment options, anticipated outcomes, and possible complications. He conducted an exam and thoroughly reviewed my health history to ensure he had all the information he needed to move forward safely with surgery. I walked away from my appointment feeling informed, empowered, and listened to.On the day of my surgery, Dr. Lindemann greeted me and my partner with warmth and comfort, putting us both at ease during what could have otherwise been a very stressful time. The surgery went smoothly; Dr. Lindemann was thorough and effective, and my recovery has been easier than I anticipated.From my initial phone call to post-surgery follow up, Dr. Lindemanns team (from front desk staff to his amazing medical assistant) was kind, patient, and generous with their time in answering my questions.Overall, Dr. Lindemann made me feel as though he deeply cares about me and my long-term health and reproductive goals. He is informative, compassionate, and kind. I am so very glad I chose him as my surgeon and could not speak more highly of him and his team.

No one wants to go see the gynecologist. But since we have to whether it is for a regular check up or a problem, Dr. Lindemann is worth going to. I’m a nurse and I know good docs from average and even some who stink. This one is one of the best! Never have I felt so listened to, and understood by physician! This man genuinely cares about me and is willing to partner with my ideas in holistic complex care. We women are complicated! And even though he’s a dude, he totally gets it and respect it and treats it. Thank you for creating Borealis Life, a place where women can feel safe, respected and understood.

I’m almost 40 and this was the best OBGYN appt I’ve ever had. With other clinics, appointments felt rushed and I was embarrassed to ask any questions because everything was so clinical and everyone was busy… but here, I felt like my questions were welcome and my comfort mattered. :*) I’ll be telling all of my friends to come here, for sure!

I met Dr Lindemann unexpectedly during an emergency, when my provider was not available to see me. He immediately put my husband & I at ease during the very difficult and emotional appointment we were having. He cared for me as if I had been his patient my entire life and from that day on I knew he would always be a provider I would see if my regular doctor was unable to see me. Fast forward less than a year, the MD I had seen for all the gynecologic care I had ever received, was retiring. There was no doubt I would choose to see Dr Lindemann from that point on. Not long after she retired, we found out we were expecting another baby, and chose care under Dr Lindemann. Our experience was wonderful. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field, his bedside manner is great, and most of all he really helped me feel empowered, that my voice was always heard and considered, and I had an active say in my care as a patient. We are currently expecting our third child and I am so excited for him to care for us during the process of bringing them earth side.

I’ve been to so many doctors trying to get help for what Dr. Lindemann suspects is Endometriosis. I tried everything! Planned Parenthood, Alaska Women’s Health Clinic, and multiple other clinics and hospitals in the area designed to treat women’s health. I came to Borealis Life because I was experiencing so much pain that my quality of life has gone down significantly. Dr. Lindemann was able to assuage my fears and address my concerns and despite my usual unease and general distrust with male doctors I LOVE Dr. Lindemann.Please, if you’re feeling at all skeptical about the practice, try it out. We talked for over an hour about my health concerns and made a plan on how to attack the problems at the source. Dr. Lindemann is mindful of his privilege as a white male doctor but is able to use that to help his patients in a way that I rarely witness in the medical field. A true gem! I almost didn’t want to write this review because I want to keep him to myself but it would be a disservice to women and people with female reproductive parts to hide Dr. Lindemann away. If you are like me and want to take initiative with your reproductive health, go see Dr. Lindemann. He was able to get me in for surgery much sooner than any other OBGYN in town, AND he’s got the most experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lindemann’s for 10+ years! He recently delivered my first child after years of being my gynecologist. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I love the way he provides all around care to his patients. He addresses the whole person - mental, emotional, and physical - which is probably why I keep going back. If you’re looking for a good OB/GYN, look no further!

I had struggled with finding a long term pcp for a few years and ended up finding a new provider only for them to leave within a year and after 4 new providers over the course of 3 years, I was starting to resent the doctor altogether because I was tired of starting over.I was pretty hesitant to try a male provider in the first place, especially with the menstrual conditions Ive been plagued with. However, I went on a whim and took a recommendation from a friend whom shared similar ailments as I, and I stumbled upon Dr. Lindemann.I tend to be considered a complex patient so oftentimes it is hard to build a rapport and get comfortable with a new provider in general, much less a male provider.But I cannot stress this ENOUGH, Dr. Lindemann is THE BEST. He brings to the table a stellar bedside manner, extensive knowledge and experience in his field, and a professional and compassionate demeanor that made me feel at ease from the very start. He demonstrated a capacity to listen and seek out multiple treatment options to treat the patient as a whole rather than treat 1 problem at a time or promote yet another medication like many providers do.I was very impressed that he had so much experience treating endometriosis and for the first time in 10 years I was provided an array of options not just limited to pills or a hysterectomy before Im 30. He wanted to tackle the problem from all scopes recommending minimally invasive procedures, physical therapy, acupuncture, dietary regimen changes, and counseling as needed. He made me feel heard and understood, and he genuinely vouched for me as an individual.When I learned he was opening his own practice I definitely followed him and was even one of the first patients seen in his new practice. It felt very professional, clean, and comforting, almost as if you were walking into someones immaculate home or a medical spa retreat rather than the cold, white hospital, and chemical disinfectant smell that permeates a standard medical office. His personable clinical and support staff followed him and remember me on a first name basis and everything about his new practice and the level of care he provides exceeds all expectations.If I could see him for the rest of my life, Im quite sure I would fly back from outer space if I had to. I hope this recommendation helps you find Dr. Lindemann as I did!

Dr. Lindemann was the first Dr to really listen to me and was able to help me solve my health problems. It’s amazing to live without pain now! He really treats the whole person, not just a little slice of your care. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Lindemann is fantastic. He always listens and has never once told me that it’s all in my head, or my symptoms are ‘normal’ or that I need to tough it out. He’s the only one who listened well enough to determine that I did have endometriosis along with other issues. I highly, highly recommend seeing him if you have any concerns about your monthly cycle or pain!

I have been with dr. Lindemann since I was a young teenage and I’m so glad I have been. He will listen to you and he truly cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anybody.

I have suffered through the effects of endometriosis for years now, and after being officially diagnosed through surgery in 2021 I have been on the search for the best clinic and care for endometriosis in the anchorage area. Dr. Lindemann is so passionate, kind, and thoughtful in his care and practice. We ended up going in for another surgery this July and it couldnt have gone better. The weekend before my Monday surgery I was in 9/10 pain and the day of and after surgery it was 1/10 if that. This office is doing miracle work and I highly recommend anyone to get a consultation.

Dr. Lindenmann is always so personable and caring. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived regardless of my reasoning for the visit. If I could give more stars I would.

I’ve searched years for a doctor to tell me where my pain was coming from or why I had pain. Dr. Lindemen treats people with holistic care! Mind and body are one, I seen countless doctors assuming it was postpartum pain, mental illness or laziness. I was on my last straw and my last doctor I chose was borealis life. They did not judge or assume it was mental illness. They showed respect and care. They gave their ears to listen. A few test later I was diagnosed with endometriosis and the relief of knowing I as not crazy felt so great. Now I am able to managed my pain and accept the unknown. I owe everything to borealis life for helping me improve my quality of life. They showed respect. And modesty. They made sure there was another female was in the room during exams to ease the stress and trauma. I am very amazed by this clinic and professionalism

The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Lindeman listened to all of my concerns and validated my feelings. His office called a couple of weeks after my appointment to check and see how I was doing and continue to answer any questions I have that come up.
