Mills Urgent Care

Ashley, Lisa, and Kiara took great care of me from the beginning to the end of my appointment. I made a phone call to see if an X-ray machine was in office because I stopped by another urgent care and the office was going to have to do a referral. I called Mills and was greeted professionally. I was greeted and checked in promptly upon arrival. The service was pleasant and professional from the beginning to the end! Thank you all for taking great care of me!

We took our 4 year old daughter there and experienced that absolute best care. The staff showed such patience during the dreaded throat swab meltdown. In addition to great care the facility is clean and well kept. The best urgent care experience we’ve had!

Dr Mills and his staff are incredible! Their office is clean and well organized. Every time my family has any urgent care need, we are confident in the care we will receive from Mills Urgent Care. Well, first off I want to say that Dr.Sarah and staff are the best that I have ever met. Reason being is because of Dr. Sarahs professionalism, care, and concern about my well being is astonishing. Her staff aswell. Therefore I highly recommend anybody to receive medical attention from Mills Urgent Care.

I went here because I was on day two of debilitating pain that was keeping me from my daily activities. I described my pain as severe, because it was. If it’s bad enough to have at the urgent care when I have other things to do, it’s severe. When seen by the nurse practitioner, she told me “you say it’s severe, but you seem quite well and tolerating it fine!”. I saw this as very dismissive of my pain and almost as though I was being made out to be hysterical. Then, at the end of the appointment, she told me, “go home, live your life, and go to the er if it gets severe,” which honestly felt like a dig. Overall, would not recommend. Nurse practitioners like her are the reason that so many people distrust medical professionals.

Clean, fast, and efficient. The nurse practitioner got the exact tests I needed ran and was really kind. Check-in was a breeze as well, as the receptionist was very welcoming. In and out in under 30 minutes!

No wait time & extremely friendly staff! This was my first time having stitches and they made me feel very calm in what could have been a stressful situation.

Doctor and staff are great. Personalized medicine and definitely integrative health with options. As I said, the Doctor & his staff front reception to the nurses and all those assisting are kind, helpful and accommodating.

They saw my baby last minute, at the end of the day and took such good care of her! The provider was so reassuring and really calmed my mama anxiety.

We chose to try this urgent care because the first establishment I called was explicit about only seeing my 3 year old ifshe was cooperative making it obvious they lacked experience with children. The receptionist, assistant, and Dr. Mills were very accommodating, friendly, and efficient. We will definitely use them again.

The way urgent care should be! Felt like everyone was very knowledgeable and my concerns were addressed. With two locations, it super convienent no matter where i am in town.

Everytime I go to this clinic it is EXCEPTIONAL. The front desk ladies are so friendly and efficient and it is very clearly they care about helping you. The doctor is astounding as well, he really cares and takes the time to go over test results and everything you might need to know to get you to feeling better. The staff at your office were some of the nicest and friendliest I have experienced at a medical office. The front office was very friendly and welcoming and very prompt getting us checked in. The nurse who helped my daughter was great. So sweet and explained everything before she did it. She really put my daughter at ease. The doctor was fine. We only saw him briefly because it was a simple issue but he saw us quickly, prescribed the meds we needed. We had a great first experience with your office. Thank you!

I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Malavong for years. The only doctor I’ve known to address the mind, body and spirit, providing a treatment plan for each. I always feel empowered with tools to heal more than just writing a prescription and forgotten.

Everyone was absolutely amazing up there! I am passing a kidney stone so Ive been in a lot of pain. After being denied care by the ER, I was a little hopeless. WellSpring got me taken care of immediately and Im feeling a lot better. Ive already told my friends and family they should go there and I will definitely go there in the future if I need urgent care. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff has been very rude. Once I was called back the nurse taking my medical history walked out of the room before I was done giving her my list current medications. She did not return. The Dr. was very nice and gave me a school note. No paperwork was given to me about the diagnosis. When calling in regards to lab work 4 days later, the lady at the front desk was very rude and apathetic. The bathroom was very nice.

Dr. Mills and his staff are fantastic. The facility is super clean and I was in and out fast. 10/10

The staff at Wellspring was great. Very nice, professional and efficient. Dr Malavong is such a great doctor. He is willing to really listen and put in the extra time and effort to get down to the ultimate cause of your illness! That’s much more valuable than just giving you a quick prescription. He can counsel you on your overall health and lifestyle. That’s rare in an urgent care, which often rush patients through.

I want to say thank you and your staff for taking good care of me. He is a wonderful Dr. I give this urgent care 100 🌟 you cant go wrong with this urgent care.

I called because I had poison oak surrounding my eyes and was concerned it would get into my actual eyes, and had an important meeting to attend 2 days later. They stop taking appointments at 6:30, and I told them I would be there in 2 minutes and they accommodated me. I filled out the paperwork over my phone which was SUPER easy (took 5 minutes), was seen 5 minutes later. No co-pay. Got a steroid shot and some pills at the CVS next door and was good to go 30 minutes after leaving my house! The staff was incredibly friendly. Seriously - incredibly nice people. Doc was nice, too and listened to all of my concerns and my probably too-long list of questions. Office looks nice, too. Also - as an aquarist - that fish is fine and husbandry looks great. They said they opened in June on E Glenn - I wonder if some of the negative reviews are from a previous establishment? Regardless - best urgent care in town, probably best I’ve ever been to.

Wow. Where do I even start? Unprofessional is an understatement. I went in with abdominal pain. The lady at the front desk obvuously hates her job and people. The CNA that walked me back to weigh me and take my vitals was incredibly rude and unprofessional for absolutely no reason. She eVen asked me several times if she already did something... FOR EXAMPLE (did I already get a urine sample from you?) Maam WHAT? Also, the doctor seemed to not care about anything I was telling him and seemed more interested in doing something else instead of his job. Now I recieved a TEXT MESSAGE, not a call, telling me they have my lab results back from my urine test. Im immediately alarmed, because why would they do that? So I called them back and informed them about the text, but then she goes on to say oh yeah, i got them. Whats your name again? She never varified that it was me on the phone with my birthday or ssn. She just gave out my private information WITHOUT EVEN VERIFYING WHO WAS ON THE PHONE!!!!!! This woman should NOT be working health care! She should be FIRED!!!!

The receptionist was amazing. She was very kind and welcoming. The doctor was great - very knowledgeable. The wait was somewhat long because we didnt have an appointment, but we had a good first experience here. The receptionist did inform us of the wait ahead of time and we chose to stay. I would definitely come back.

The new receptionist is personable and friendly. The old one was not.The Dr has a great bedside manner, the nurses dont. If you dont like your job get a different one!Two weeks ago I broke my arm so I went there. I got a rx of tramadol and was told I could also take a Tylenol! 🤬 and I got a brace.The pain relief didnt touch the pain. The tramdol interacted with my other meds and was told to take Tylenol instead! For a broken arm!!😡 anyway, the nurse put a brace on it and sent me on my way.I have been twisting and popping it for two weeks and went to the orettho today to find out that brace for for a LEFT arm and not a right arm! And she even put it on wrong! So Ive been miserable because of them! Go to a different one instead!And it wasnt just one bad day with that nurse. Ive been there in the past several times for minor issues and the nurses are not compassionate, had a bad bedside manner, and lack people skills.

I have visited this office four times within the last 2 months. This has been the best service ever. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They make you feel as if they really want to serve you. I have also sent two other people there and they received the same type of service as I.

If you need a Covid test GO HERE!!! You go in and reserve your appointment and then can wait in your car until they call you. Very organized and friendly. Yes the wait is long, but so is everywhere else. Still seeing new patients at 2PM when most places have stopped seeing patients by noon. 10/10 recommend

Everyone in the office is absolutely amazing! They were all very kind and answered all my questions. We got in and out very quickly.

This was our first visit, and the initial paperwork process was simple. Dr Malavong was fantastic, and referred us for an xray. The office staff needs some serious training, but I am chalking that up to the office being fairly new. A few ways to make things better:If you dont have an xray machine, please dont tell your patients you can process xrays.If youre sending a patient to Bridgeway for xrays at 5:00pm, let them know the tech left at 4:30.If you accidentally hang up on a patient call, dont leave them on hold for 20 minutes when they call back.If the patient says they use drugstore A, dont send a prescription they dont know they have coming to drugstore B.Hopefully we wont need urgent care again any time soon, but hopefully youll get the office functions streamlined soon.

A very good overall experience.We came here after going to Stopwatch and being first ignored then told they had no doctors present to treat anything and that we needed to go somewhere else.We did go somewhere else and will continue to as WellSpring is a significantly better clinic!

I was experiencing significant pain last night (won’t go into specifics) and got to clinic near closing time. After the usual and customary paperwork (done everywhere and every healthcare provider) I was taken back to exam room. After a brief but thorough exam, the doctor arrived at his diagnosis and provided treatment and at-home recommendations. I followed his regimen and had rapid relief from the symptoms I was experiencing. Today I felt back to my old self, emphasis on “old”. Thanks to all the staff at WellSpring. Hopefully I won’t need your services again anytime soon, but I won’t hesitate if needed.

Yesterday I went here because I felt terrible and this was the only place still accepting patients but after my experience I will NEVER go back. There was a two hour wait, I remember the couple in front of me haven’t been there before as well as a guy a couple spaces behind me, I WAITED 3 HOURS for them to tell me that it would be another 2 hours for me, all the while at my 2 hour mark the couple in front of me went in a little before it, then the people behind me, AND PEOPLE WHO CAME IN AN HOUR OR MORE AFTER ME. I was told it was because returning patients have priority which for one makes them seem incompetent that they think a returning patient gets priority over someone who’s been wait for 3 hours! But not only that but it makes them look stupid because they couldn’t own up to the fact they had forgotten me because like I said previously, the people in front of me hadn’t been there before, they filled out the same papers as me, I saw people who returned Bc they gave their name then was told a wait time then paid, so I know the difference from watching many people come in. terrible service for someone who was told they have covid and spent a total of 4 and a half hours waiting to be seen.

Dr and staff are great! They really take the time to listen to your problems and concerns. The Dr is very competent and you can tell he genuinely wants to help. Ive been going here over 5 years for primary and urgent care and wouldnt go any place else. Highly recommend!!

Seems like the quality of care has dropped significantly in the past month or so. I waited two hours to be seen by a doctor for less than thirty seconds, was misdiagnosed (got a second, accurate opinion elsewhere later) and was hastily prescribed a VERY harsh medication with no warning about its side effects or how best to deal with them. Complete waste of time, money, and a lot of undue stress and actual pain from the medication they prescribed.Only positive would be that the place doesn’t look like a doctor’s office inside, so if you have a fear of medical facilities, this works in your favor. There isn’t any medical equipment or anything visible in the exam rooms like you’d see in other facilities. However, this just added to my experience of them being wholly unprofessional and an overall terrible visit.

Called on a Friday night hoping I could get a COVID test appt for Saturday and they actually got me in tonight! Did all my paperwork online, receptionist was very friendly, only waited in my car maybe 5min and the lady who did my test was also super friendly. Results back quick! Zero issues for me and would go back for sure.

Friendly & professional service. The doctor was amazing-- calming, caring, reassuring. Explained situation & was patient-- answered questions. I think he even understood my tears. Never a doctor with such bedside manners.

I came in for a walk in appointment and was seen within 10 minutes of filling out paperwork. The nursing staff was fabulous and professional. The doctor was very helpful with answering all of my questions and tending to my concerns. I absolutely recommend this urgent care!

The staff was friendly and handled the large Covid test crowd with kindness and with as much efficiency as is possible in such conditions. There were as many as 22 people inside waiting, several more waiting in cars, and every exam room full. Though several people got impatient, they were always listened to and were met with kind, understanding responses from the overworked staff.

Called in and had appt. for 10:30am, but didnt get called back until 11:45. Whats the point of having an appt. when you have to wait nearly 1.5 hrs. after the time? Waiting room does have a cool fish, but receptionist coughing and sneezing the whole time with a mask on, (tucked under her chin), was unnerving to say the least. The Doctor was great, and I was fixed up in a matter of days. However, got my bill and they didnt bill my insurance. The number to call in Utah (billing department) never answers the phone and when you try to call the clinic, its a $hitshow. I would not recommend this place to anyone, there are better, more reputable options out there. Still dealing with billing issue and has now affected my credit. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience with well spring urgent care is always excellent. I would describe the staff and doctor as sweet and caring and thorough.

I have been having bad back pain for months/years due to my job. After seeing the doctor today, I walked out feeling like a whole new person! He was able to target not only where my pain was but told me everything I need to do in order to help the pain and prevent it in the future. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Malavong!!! The staff was as amazing and friendly as the doctor was! I will definitely be returning for more future visits:)

DO NOT go. The whole experience was absolutely terrible. They refuse to answer their phones. We got a “rapid” Covid test done here. We waited for 2 hours when there was only 3 people in the waiting room and then was told they would call us by lunch with the results and 7 hours later they STILL hadn’t called us and we have been calling for 2 days now with no answer. One of the most unprofessional urgent cares I’ve ever been too. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Dr. Malavong is absolutely amazing! When I say that I landed in his office because my Doctor’s office was closed, was meant to be… I truly mean that. He is a true HEALER in many ways! I came in today with a sinus infection and left with a cure for that and soooo much more. Dr. Malavong, is so much more than just a Doctor. I would recommend ANYONE to see him. The office staff is amazing and super nice and friendly. The office is clean and has a calming deco. Give him a try and you’ll see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed I promise 😊

We did have to wait 2 hours past our appointment time, but everyone was pleasant and sweet. Dr. Malavong was kind, knowledgeable and took his time and was very helpful. Definitely will use again.

Do NOT COME HERE . I originally was very impressed with my initial visit . However I have called the for the last 6 days multiple times no one will answer my call . When I get an answer and give my name all of sudden They hang up or send me to the voicemail . I showed up and I was hit with more excuses and promised to return my call with the information I’m asking . They don’t care about there patients . Do NOT come here . This place is extremely unprofessional.UPDATE: I finally called from my sister phone and was able to reach someone . The nurse Tiffany was the only person who actually helped me after my frustrations. The Dr. apologized because it was unacceptable . Come here at your own risk . I thought this was place was better than afc but I will not be returning .

Places like this are the reason the human healthcare system is falling apart. I understand that it is a pandemic, but you take an OATH when you join the medical profession to take care of patients. The nurse didn’t even take a single vital on me. I waited for over an hour and the doctor spent less than 45 seconds in the room and did not listen to a single word I said. This man tried to send me home with antibiotics for a swollen lymph node but refused to test me for strep or mono and wouldn’t tell me why I needed the antibiotics or what they were supposedly fixing. It was nearly impossible to get an appointment anywhere but you are better off just not going to the doctor than coming here. Places like this realistically should not be able to practice medicine.

Kind, genuine, loving, respectful, staff. Highly recommend. Cleanly and courteous. Always be mindful of the staff as waiting times very. They take one patient at a time. And they are able to spend the quality time you need as patient and doctor.ALWAYS BE KIND!

We needed to be tested for COVID because we were exposed to someone. We went to Three urgent care centers. One put your name in list to come back later. Second, the receptionist showed up 25 minuets late so all we could do was stand in line. We tried to make reservation online gave us a time of 8:16 but said to pick another time snd there was no other time. Went there and stood in line , some people were able to get an appt for later this afternoon. So we drove to Wellsprings on Glenn. There was a line but they were Letting 5 people in at a time, we registered snd two minuets later they call us in fir test waited less than 5 mins fir results and out of there. They had a system down and all were VERY friendly. Will go to them again for anything . Great job Wellsprings🙌

Very nice staff. One star due to not being upfront about wait times. Don’t waste the time making an appointment online. Literally means nothing and you get handled like a walk in. 2 1/2 hours after my appointment and counting

Went in for a Covid test. Proceeded to get swabbed and waited 10 minutes for the doctor to come in and tell me I didnt have strep throat. Quickly checked my throat and ears and told me theyd prescribe me Amoxicillin.When questioned about the Covid test, the doctor seemed confused then proceeded to re-swab me.They charged my Insurance nearly $360 for testing I didnt ask for or want.

The doctor does not respect patient’s time. We asked for urgent appointment to relieve neck pain. Waited more than two hours for a less than 2 minutes visit and he did not even look for the pain. So, very disappointed and would not recommend this doctor. It was clearly stated during the appointment that the service is required. The doctor does not discuss with the patient for their needs at the time.

They are thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. They care. Great place to get the help you need.

Prompt, efficient and polite. I left satisfied. My son got the help Ive been seeking for over a month from his pediatricians. The doctor wasted no time in diagnosing his ailment and prescribed the medication he needed.

The nurses were very kind.But doctor was bad.My son appointed at 4pm here, so we went there at that time, and I think we spent 1 hour 20 minutes.But I think the doctor just see my son for 30 seconds.I dont want to see the doctor.

I booked my appointment online because that is what their website said do and when I got there to check in, the receptionist told me, “Oh we took our last patient at 5:30”. I explained to her that I made the appointment online and she said, “Well it doesn’t block the schedule when we have took all the patients for today” So I drove 30 minutes for NOTHING because their portal is misleading!

This establishment perpetuates why Alabama continually has poor healthcare. The most unorganized, uncaring, low skill staff I have seen in all of Lee county. If you actually need medical treatment I strongly encourage to find elsewhere. In the single day experience I had with these people I was mistaken for multiple other patients due to lack of communication and records, given the wrong treatments because they thought I was a different patient, then continued to direct me with differing orders/whims. Being a relatively new place I believe, it is in the best interest of the Lee county community to shut this place right back down before they get sued or kill someone with there bogus BS. Thanks.

Horrible service. Nobody ever answers he phone unless you select make an appointment. Maybe then. Never return messages. Always mess up prescriptions. Does not return phone calls. Appointment times don’t matter. Expect at least 2 hours. Overall terrible service. Not first time. Patient for 2 years.

Dr Malavong is fantastic!!! A great caring Dr!! He needs an office manager to get the girls in front office to do their jobs. They ignore you, hang up on you when you call, do not call you back.

The lab lady was very nice the front desk lady was great the medical assistant was great doctor was fast and nice . Very clean facility and nice professional staff .

Excellent service! Blows stopwatch out of the water! My appt was at 9:21 and I was in a tested by 9:26. Out the door at 10 til with an rx already called in! Amazing experience! Highly recommend!

The doctor didn’t really even look at me, just tested me for covid and told me he would call in amoxicillin (which I’m allergic to). They never called in my prescription and closed for the weekend so I ended up having to go somewhere else to get some medicine. They also never answer the phone. I tried to call about my prescription with no luck and was feeling too bad to even go there to ask

Didn’t get put in a room for a rapid test until 45 minutes after my appointment’s original time. Staff was not very polite and half of them weren’t wearing masks. The nurse that gave me my test wasn’t wearing gloves. I got my test taken 35 minutes ago and I’m still waiting for my results. I will never be back

The wait for a rapid covid test was long but that is due to covid numbers rising. Staff was very nice and apologized for the wait, didn’t take long at all. I was in and out!

Incredibly long wait. Appointment was at 12pm, I showed up at 1150am and Im still outside in my car at 130pm waiting for a covid test.

I get places are short staffed but your receptionist has no problem picking up the phone to say hold and leaves you on hold until the phone hangs up. This is ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. At some point in all the calls I tried making at least one call should be answered.

Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly! I had around a 45 minute wait once in the room but I understand sometimes thats a part of it.

Loved the Dr.

From the front desk to the nurses, everything is very rude. I wasnt expecting anything special, but the treatment was so unfriendly that it made me feel bad, so I just dont think Ill ever come here again.
