AFC Urgent Care Beverly

I was in the ER yesterday and I cannot say enough great things about Patrick Joe and their Supervisor Julie. I got the BEST care with the friendliest people. They ran tests and I walked out feeling 100 percent better after treatment. Thank you !!!

I made my first visit to the AFC Urgent Care facility, in Beverly, on July 10, 2024, and I can honestly report it was an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. (After reading a few previous reviews about this facility, its clear that some people may forget that direct medical care and other related services are highly dependent on the circumstances going on at a facility, at any given moment, and its always changeable, at any given time. There are simply going to be times when other patients, and their particular injuries and/or medical needs, will take a higher priority over you and your needs in that moment--and your wait time may be extended. Its unavoidable sometimes, and must be acknowledged and understood by all who enter such a facility seeking care. In this review, I can only report what I experienced at this facility, on this particular day/time.)After an unfortunate kitchen accident in my home, I wanted to get a cut on my hand examined and treated. Granted, it was not a serious injury, but one that required timely medical attention. The minute I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and sincere care and concern by the receptionist. The registration process was brief, and I was called to an exam room within 15 minutes. The room was organized and clean. The triage technician (Brianna) greeted me in a pleasant and caring manner, asked good questions to get a brief history, and she took my vital signs. I then waited about 10 minutes, and the physicians assistant (Nick, PA) came in and listened attentively to my concerns. He carefully and thoroughly examined my wound and planned a course of action, explaining every step while doing so. His care was professional, efficient and compassionate. The PA ordered a tetanus vaccination, as it had been years since my last booster, and he made sure I had my vitals checked a second time (by Cesia), as a precaution before leaving, as my blood pressure was elevated during the initial triage exam with the technician. During discharge, I received excellent verbal, as well as written, wound care instructions and a complete summary of my visit to the facility. The entire experience at the facility lasted just over one hour.Without question, I highly endorse AFC Urgent Care-Beverly for their exceptional standard of care and their expertise. Its evident the entire staff strives to make their patients feel comfortable and well-cared for. As a longtime Beverly resident, I take comfort in knowing that such a facility exists to help meet the moderate medical needs of our community. We are fortunate!

I made an appointment with ease online for a time within an hour. I was received and treated promptly, and with courtesy and efficiency (from reception to medical assistants, nurse practitioner and radiology tech). The system was efficient. The staff was friendly and professional.

Exceptional urgent care facility! I needed weekend MRSA testing and I’m glad I went here. Everyone was friendly and informative from the time when I first called with questions, to check in, to my actual appointment. Gina, NP, was great. I felt heard, she answered all of my questions, and she made sure I left with everything I needed to be on the mend.

I went into urgent care...staff was friendly...I waited about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment so not a big deal. The doctor that saw me regarding a tick bite was thorough and very helpful. She printed out what to watch for should a tick bite rash appear and treatments for other issues I had. I didnt have health coverage so they were very transparent and helpful with what things would cost. Overall, I would highly recommend this AFC Urgent Care in Beverly.

I never write reviews but Jill, NP was absolutely phenomenal. My 3 year old can’t stop talking about “how nice and cute that sweet lady was”. The medical assistant kaitlin was also fantastic. Giving a kid nose and throat swabs is not easy but she made it look easy. Very happy with our visit :)

Several times over the last six months, one of my kids has needed medical care, and there were no appointments available at their very good, but very busy pediatricians office. AFC Beverly has filled a very important space; when you strongly suspect your kid has an ear infection, you want treatment to start right away, not with the next available appointment. My children have gotten the care, the tests, and the antibiotics they needed from kind, caring, and thorough professionals. Particular thanks to James and Gina, two of the PAs there who were wonderful. Frankly, all the care has been great, I just cant always remember names. :-) Im very, very grateful for the help that weve gotten, the very convenient location, and scheduling available.

We had a minor emergency while on dodge st. I called and they were both receptive and kind. They took us in immediately. The service was fast, the NP was great, and we left feeling comfortable. I recommend them 100%! Thank you!

DONT GO THERE. They are extremely irresponsible!I went there on Sunday as I was having fever, a lot of body pain and a little bit of dry cough. I explain to the doctor that I have diabetes type I, my blood sugar was very high in the last 2 days (going over 400 even with me taking extra insulin) and I usually get that when I have an infection.I also told the doctor that my husband son was diagnosed with pneumonia about 3 weeks ago, then my husband got it as well.Guess what? The doctor didn’t order a XRAY (the bare minimum ) after everything I described. Instead, he ordered a LYME test and said I had to wait for the result that would come in 2-3 days.The same night I got worse, higher fever, pressure in my chest, ketones in my urine (due to high blood sugar). I ended up at Beverly Hospital ER, the doctor had the decency to listen to me and really care about what I was saying, ordered the Xray with a lot of other tests. Came back as pneumonia. They already started the treatment at the ER, and now I am being treated at home.They are SO irresponsible. The doctor didn’t even bother checking my blood sugar at the urgente care.Please, for your own safety, don’t go to this place!

Amazing care & super professional experience. The physician was knowledgeable and so helpful! I was seen in under 20 min from the time of booking and prescribed medicines that got me right back on my feet. Very great service and wonderful staff.

My first time here was excellent! The place is very nice, clean and well run. My nurse, Molly was sooooo efficient, kind and caring. She even called shortly after I left because she noticed another medication I had at CVS! Very thorough and I appreciate that. Thank you staff!

10/10 would recommend and this will be my go to urgent care. I live in Gloucester which has an urgent care but have had horrible experiences. Tried this one out and both my daughter and I were seen. Treated with kindness, respect, and were given medication to treat.

I went to this urgent care with my 22 month old son to check for an ear infection. My son was crying and did not want to have his vitals taken. The nurse was very patient and tried multiple times with stickers and Lolipops until she got everything she needed. The NP listened to my concerns and made sure to answer all of my questions. The visit was quick and easy (except for my son crying). The front desk was extremely nice to my son as we waited to be called in. Overall a very good experience and will return again if needed.

Made an appointment online, which was easy to do. There were enough available time slots. The medical staff helped us quickly and prescribed medication which we could find locally.

Really efficient. I filled out all my paperwork online before I went in. They got me right in, looked at the issue, prescribed the appropriate medication, and sent me on my way. Best of all, their location allows you to get in and out quickly without messing with traffic!

We have taken our kids here when we couldn’t get a same day appointment at their doctors office and the staff here are so thorough and helpful! I’ve never felt rushed or blown off. If anyone needs an urgent/same day appointment, I would recommend AFC Beverly!

Excellent experience from start to finish. I was greeted warmly & wait time was short. (I was the first person inside on Sunday morning at 8 when they opened.) Provider was kind and offered 2 treatment options. We discussed the pros and cons and made an informed decision together. She was excellent.

I am very pleased with the care I received this afternoon. From the receptionist right on through with the people who cared for me My eye was bothering me and Molly made me very comfortable with the explanation of what she would be doing and made me feel very comfortable during the exam, and during the procedure. I saw a male nurse here (I forget his name) but I have medical trauma from men and he was so freaking nice I had to write a review. He asked before each time he touched me and listened to me. In general I’ve had really great care here to be honest.

Everyone was attentive and caring. The NP was thorough and explained everything well. I didn’t have to wait and the whole experience was satisfactory. I would recommend this site to anyone needing care.

I have to say everybody was very very nice. And they explained everything that was going on and made my client and I very relaxed and reassured. I felt that we got more personal care than a hospital emergency room. Thank you so much for the great bedside manner and The professionalism. Even the receptionist were nice. All smiling. I took a fall at the beach, slippery rocks…contusions, broken finger. I had never been to afc before….Everyone was friendly, kind, thorough. Absolutely recommend!

Quick, easy, nice and clean. Got called right in, and out with a needed prescription and summary/aftercare plan for strep. It only took a few minutes and is alot more convenient than my Dr office.

Very friendly staff and only waited in waiting room for about 10-15 minutes. I was seen by the NP, had an x-ray and finished up within about 25 minutes. Very efficient and I like that they have an x-ray machine on site. Would visit again if I needed to!

Needed a diagnosis of a hand injury on a Sunday and was recommended to AFC by a relative. AFC Beverly was excellent - I scheduled an appointment as recommended for an hour from when I called. I completed the preregistration process online. When I arrived at the facility as a first time patient, check in was quick and painless. I was seen by the attending physicians assistant was thorough and made an initial assessment which turned out to be on the money. Required X-rays were also taken and I was out of the facility in less than 60 minutes. A follow up call from the PA came about two hours after the visit with an exact diagnosis and prescribed treatment, as had been stated by the PA. All in all an efficient and professional visit - I highly recommend AFC Beverly based on this visit.

Excellent service everyone so nice and compassionate. To care of me right away I definitely go back to the urgent care and Beverly. I think they’re all pretty wonderful. The staff was excellent. As was the doctor.

I’ve been coming to this urgent care over the years in a pinch. The staff is always so nice, professional, and caring. The NP I saw was extremely knowledgeable, kind, understanding, and patient. I will continue to go here and only have amazing things to say.

So impressed by the efficient and kind care I received here today. Everyone from the receptionists, to the X-ray tech, to the nurses had friendly dispositions. I was in and out of there in just over an hour, far quicker than I would have experienced at the ER. Thank you!

Fast, efficient and convenient appointments, registration and check in. Very clean, comforting atmosphere. The PA Thomas Walsh was knowledgable and had a great bedside manner. I would have given a rating of 5 if it werent for the guy at the front desk who was less than welcoming and clearly hates his job. He was quite off-putting. Other than that, I highly recommend this urgent care facility.

Excellent - Nick was very thorough & knowledgeable- I left feeling so much better that he’d diagnosed correctly & ordered rays right there. Nick was great, confident & pleasant. Can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend.

This place was amazing took care of my son better than his own doctors office could. They were able to facilitate his needs by seeing him promptly and efficiently.They provide the necessary papers that he needed to go back to school with, and confirm that he did not have strep throat. Great job keep up the good work guys!

Amazing!! My 9 year old daughter fell off her bike and we were in for X-rays within the hour, never would have happened if we went to the ER. She broke her arm and they took such good care of her, wrapping her up making her arm feel comfortable and also talking to her to relax her. They then sent us to Boston’s Children’s which was the best place for her. Definitely would recommend. And we will be going back in the future.

Decided later in the day to find an urgent care for a sinus infection. Looked here online and they had 4 spots available. I selected one and supplied some basic info and it was as easy as that. Once there I just had to check in. Medical personnel were great. Everything was quick but thorough and they took very good care of me. They went over additional meds needed and what to do if the prescribed meds didn’t work. The care I got was much appreciated.

Wow this is so much better than going to “the doctor’s office” - thank you!! Quick, friendly, skilled, fantastic! Same co-pay price as a traditional doctor’s office visit, but a much more pleasant experience.

Never been before to Urgent Care. Everyone was very professional and was seen very quickly.

Really lovely staff working here, and this was an overall great experience! Making an appt online is the best way to go, just FYI. Didnt have to wait long at all, was properly diagnosed, and was back home in less than an hour from the moment I first walked in the door. The doctor was very thorough in his explanation of my particular ailment. If you have to use urgent care, AFC Urgent Care Beverly is highly recommended over the other urgent care offices available.

Made an online appointment/ line reservation, which makes me wait less when I show up. All personnel at this location are amazing, my kids loved their first time visit. Had I gone to a childrens hospital for strep testing Id be there all day. I was in and out within an hour with a family of 4 I loved it.

It was a little busy when I went with an appointment but didn’t have to wait more than 15 min. My visit progressed nicely from there and the care was friendly and professional. Impressed me as a well run clinic

We came here to get a strep test a little while ago and had the best experience. Since then we have come a few more times and brought our kid, who also felt comfortable and loved the nurses and doctors. At this point we prefer going here over our PC because everyone who works there has been incredibly kind and helpful.

Ive been three times. Once for a broken talus (foot bone), covid, and for, suspected strep. Every visit was timely and all my questions were answered. Staff is polite and knowledgeable. I like them better than my primary, ijust wish my insurance copay didnt go up so high for them ($75). But thats not their fault.

I would very much recommend AFC Urgent Care in Beverly. It was easy to save my place in line (its not an actual appointment time but they make that really clear). I only had to wait for 20 minutes to be called in. Tests were administered quickly and then it was just a matter of waiting 10 minutes for the results. All of the staff were so courteous and kind from the receptionist to the lab tech to the PA who talked to me about a treatment plan. Definitely the place to go for after hours care.

I always have a great experience with AFC Urgent Care. Im normally able to get a quick visit scheduled and I love that they do everything online for your scheduling because they give you great feedback regarding how busy they are or when you should show up for your appointment. The staff is friendly and helpful every time I go!!

Went today to be seen regarding my ankle sprain. I was seen by Dr. Yeagley. She was so helpful and took the time to explain everything to me. I’d highly recommend going there, all of the staff were really kind.

Courteous professional staff, clean office and over all nice experience. I didn’t have high expectations for an Urgent Care clinic as I’ve never been to one previously. However AFC has set the bar high and I will return in the future if needed.

I had an appointment with all 3 of my children and only waited for 5 mins to be called in by the medical assistant. I was out within an hour for all 3 being seen. Had an amazing experience with all 3 of the MA’s that were there and also the Doctor that attended us. They were very kind and patient with my children.

The facility is clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. We did not have to wait for long.Very professional service

Its so easy to make an appointment with AFC, I checked in online and pre registered, in person check in was fast, and I was seen only after 10 min, nurses and doctors are very friendly and very helpful. I was diagnosed quickly and accurately, and CVS had my prescription shortly after. Its such a great place to have if my PCP cant see me that day or if the wait is too long.

Everyone here is super nice . Walked in around 3:15 and they told me someone could see me at 4:24 . So I was able to go home for a little bit until it was time to be seen ( I do live around the corner. ) Everything was easy and when I was seen I was treated with respect and kindness and professionalism . Very happy with their abilities here . I do recommend this location to anyone in need of care .

This is my first time to urgent care. I needed a prescription filled. no wonder why we see so many of these businesses popping up everywhere. So much better than going to a hospital.Jill was my provider and she could have not been more professional and efficient. Thank you for such a great care

All of the people I interacted with were wonderful and helpful. They listened and shared information well. I felt taken care of throughout the process. That’s really helpful when you are struggling through a medical problem. I really appreciate that they are open Sunday afternoon.

Beyond impressed with how tentative and fast we were moved along. We were taken in at our exact scheduled time, the nurse was extremely helpful with my 5 yr old daughter, and watching her while I filled out paperwork, or even when I had to use the bathroom. I highly recommend this urgent care office, as I’ve already told a few family members and friends about it.

I was fortunate enough to schedule a covid test at AFC Urgent Care on 1/9. It was a very positive experience from scheduling to registering to the actual appointment. I was seen on time and tests were done in s professional manner. I was impressed with the thoroughness yet efficient manner of my appointment. All of the staff were kind, personable and professional. Overall an excellent experience. I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care.

Brought my friend here for a basic STI test when she was visiting from another state. Not only did they not run her insurance and charged her card a random amount. They also only had her take a urine sample which doesn’t even test for what she was concerned about. So when she called them for results they didn’t have any because I assume they never even ran the test. I will be stopping in soon to talk to them about this matter but people need to be aware they aren’t following protocols and running fraudulent charges on peoples cards.

If you want to save yourself sometime and get the same, if not better results, choose here. Thiss place is always clean with a few staff assisting you. Wait time is shorter than 95% of my my doctors appointments. Not to meantion, I dont have to call back the next day when theres no more sick visits for the day like my doctors which can be as soon as 10am in the morning theyre filled up. HERE, you have the convenience of scheduling a time yourself online, 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm.My doctor, Lahey has also turned me down for covid symptoms ( a sore throat) and made me wait 2 WEEKS for a zoom call to finally get antibiotics. When I described my symptoms to a triage nurse this time she recommended the ER. Who wants to sit there for hours when you you feel Terribly? Not me. And I didnt have to. After making my appointment here,my room was ready on time, I was seen right away, tested for strep, covid, with my oxygen and lungs listened to and and xray of my chestwas done immediately after the doctor ordered one and left the room. 3 minutes later. Doctor came in with prescription. I cant stress enough how much I choose this option over the emergency room. Waiting for hours for the same results. Or my doctors who can even do x-rays on site. The whole thing took less than an hour.!

I called at 3:15 and was given 4pm appt. Seen at 4:15, xrays showed broken wrist. Brace was placed and referral made to orthopedics for next day. Home by 5:30. Professional, good communicators, pleasant waiting room. Highly recommend.

The following review applies to the urgent care clinic at CVS, 19 Dodge St, NOT to AFC Urgent Care at 50 Dodge St. the former was where my appointment was booked for only to be a “no show” on their end. In fact AFC, 50 Dodge St., called me to let me know they were a different company and I could come in right then. I wasn’t up to it, but clearly will go there should I need the services of urgent care again!Following is Review of CVS urgent Care 19 Dodge.Took a bad fall, slammed head and likely have cracked ribs - made an appointment for 3:06 today the 15th! One would think that such precision in scheduling indicated attention to detail, like actually being OPEN during scheduled hours and honoring appointments that were confirmed! I guess I’ll make it thru one more night before my own docs are in. I am unable to sit for hours in the ER, so was hopeful the clinic could offer a little relief! BTW doesn’t do any good to call support! Woman on phone was kind, confirmed the “closed” office is really open - uh huh….called and received no response. A waste of time and the unbelievable pain of getting in a car to get here!!! Photo below taken at 3:40! Scheduled hours today till 4:30. Don’t count on this for urgent care!!!!

I have been there three times this winter with illness. . I feel like I got excellent care there. . The Urgent Care Staff in Beverly on Dodge Street were excellent. They were very professional, caring and kind and seem to truly be concerned about my wellbeing. I feel like you don’t get that nowadays in a regular doctor’s office visit. I would definitely recommend going to AFC Urgent Care in Beverly, So far, five stars from me.😊👍

Easiest place to get an x-ray, a Covid test, or a quick diagnostic. Staff is friendly and efficient. Easy for a walk in or to get a spot in the queue w a few hours notice. Highly recommend!

Everything is simple and quick. From making the appointment to getting the appointment. The front desk and doctors are nice and easy to communicate with and friendly. Ive been here approximately 5 times. Its such a relief to not have to go to the hospital and still see a doctor and one that seems to like his job... Ive never even met my doctor.

The entire staff starting with the front desk was extremely organized and very kind and understanding and professional.X-ray technician was quick and I was seen almost immediately. Super easy making an appointment to the day before online and I hardly waited at all. Ive been coming here for years and its an excellent clinic. This time the nurse practitioner that I had was Patty and she was also awesome!!

Nurses were clueless. When I asked about test results one told me “I have no idea” and walked away. Nurses also gave me someone else discharge papers which is a HIPA violation. Doctor was good and intelligent but when they called to tell me my PCR for Covid was positive they just hung up. No plan for care given or a prescription for Paxlovid.

Recommend... easy to make online appt, very nice receptionist, short wait.The PA was personable, thorough, and explained everything he was doing.I felt well cared for, better than waiting for my pcp to get me in for a minor issue.

Ive been trying to make an appointment all morning though the telehealth option on their site. Every time I make an appointment, it gets canceled with no reason why. I makes me extra confused, why offer telehealth if youre gonna cancel every appointment someone tries to make?

My 18yo son is a HS student in the Beverly area but we live 2 hours away on the south shore. When he became sick a week ago at school, the school nurses evaluated him and wanted him seen by a doctor. Although the school could take him, I decided to drive up myself and took my son to the AFC Urgent Care in Beverly which the nurses suggested, mostly because it was close by.The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. For walking in and not knowing about making an online reservation, we were able to get an appointment in 2 hours that was immediately confirmed with a text message while I was still at the front desk. While we waited, I ran a few errands for my son. About 20 minutes before the appointment, I received a text asking me to register online (quick and easy) and check in at the front desk 10 minutes before the appointment.We were taken in about 5-10 minutes after our appointment time (short wait with 5 others in the waiting room before us). Both the nurse and doctor were wonderful — patient, listened to my son as he described how he was feeling, and provided great care. My son was tested for strep and flu, and we received the results quickly. The doctor prescribed Tamiflu and along with some Tylenol and rest, my son recovered quickly and was back at school 4 days later. Being unfamiliar with the location of area pharmacies, the staff said there was a CVS in the shopping plaza across the street and sent my son’s prescription there (it was filled quickly). Our visit was about an hour from showing up 10 minutes before our appointment to us checking out. I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care and go there again if my son needed medical care in the future.

Went here with severe back pain and into a doctor, who saw me within 10 minutes from pre-check to observation, as opposed to the typical situation, where you’re in a waiting room for 20 minutes and then waiting for another doctor for another 20 minutes or more. My doctor, she was very thorough and personable, and I would highly recommend.

Although we made an appointment online, it was a VERY busy day there. We waited over an hour before being seen (it happens). The staff were great, easily engaged, Doctor was fantastic, explained everything (preliminary xray results) She called us later that day with xray official report. Great care. Center was immaculately clean.

Everyone was kind, helpful and patient. Rick was friendly right away and caring. So much faster and less stressful than the hospital. I felt seen and heard.

Very easy to make an appt, they were extremely pleasant, friendly, and sympathetic to my daughters pain. They treated her well and were 1 thousand times quicker than the ER. I will definitely return if needed.

Amazingly friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I guess I had thought AFC would be a low tier stop in, just a place to go when you can’t see your regular doctor, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was seen quickly and brought in for an x-ray and got my results within minutes. I would definitely go there any time without hesitation.

After patiently waiting 5 hours at Salem Hospital urgent care with a deep, bleeding dog bite on my hand, WITHOUT BEING SEEN! , I gave up and drove to AFC Urgent Care in Beverly and was in-and-out in less than 45 minutes! Cleaned, bandaged, prescription for antibiotics. Couldn’t have been more efficient, helpful, and pleasant. And they accepted my Tufts Medicare.

I am so glad this place is near me. They are courteous, caring. And efficient. I got an appointment right away, and the PA who saw me was thorough and clear with his explanations. I was very pleased. Highly recommend.

It was great experience with wonderful reception desk staff, nurses, nurse practitioners and experienced X-ray technician. I have been seen quickly everything went pretty smooth and I got the care I needed. I am strongly recommending this Urgent Care. Thank you so much for lovely experience.

Everything about the Beverly urgent care is awesome. The staff is wonderful. I had a great experience with Shirley today. She was very kind and funny. She explained everything to me and got onto way. I will always come here and you should too!

I had plenty of time slots to pick from. They were on time polite and competent. I felt listened to and was treated in a timely and appropriate manner. All the staff had smiles and were pleasant to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

I’ve been here several times over the last couple years and I am always treated very well. They are Always thorough and kind and they take your symptoms seriously. They’re organized as well as efficient and timely. These guys are what our hospitals and primary care physicians SHOULD be and I’m very grateful that they are here.

Our family has been here several times. Today was just as great. The NP was very nice and they are quick and efficient. Once you’re in their system booking online is a lot easier.

Easy in and out, maybe 15 minute wait from my online appointment. Still need to see if the treatment works but I got seen quick and had no issues.

This AFC location is amazing .. the staff is friendly( even with being over worked during the sick season ) .. place is super super clean. I was in and out in 10 minutes to be diagnosed with pneumonia. The online scheduling works amazing as well. I would drive out of my way to go to this location any time! An i have an AFC location 2 mins from my house so that says a lot about their staff!

Have used this urgent care for family and myself on a few occasions. All experiences were good.

Urgent Care was thorough and efficient. Online registration took a while. Staff fabulous. The one issue is appointments too close together giving a long wait time. Having 2 medical people on staff would help with this or do not book appointments 5 minutes apart.

I really like this urgent care … I am someone who goes into Boston for all of my medical needs but I find this place great. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they are usuall very prompt …. Except for weekends which can get very busy but they try hard to stick to the schedule…

The staff were courteous and professional. The waiting room was comfortable and the wait was not long at all. The young practitioner get a very nice interview preparing me for the Doctor Who could not have been kinder And more knowledgeable. I was in extremely good hands. Highly recommend.

Pricey but so is every urgent care ever out of pocket. The assistant and doctor who helped me out where very nice and took my concerns about a teeny cut on my foot that turned out to have healed over a piece of glass, seriously.Professional and friendly :)

Went here today to have my daughter assessed for URI symptoms. It was easy to schedule an appointment and we were seen without too long of a wait. Staff is very professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

When my PCP was on vacation, dentist had no emergency appointments, and I was in agony from an infected tooth, AFC Beverly was able to see me right away and prescribed much needed antibiotics. They are quick, efficient, friendly, and compassionate. The location is perfect and easy to find. Inside is very clean.

I am so grateful that AFC urgent care is available for those times when PCP is not available, especially, when you have a child who needs to be seen right away. It is nice that they have a registration online and can let you know when they are running behind schedule so that you can wait in the comfort of your own home. There has never been a long wait to be seen and they have been thorough, kind, and knowledgeable.

We came to this Urgent Care after a positive prior experience.We pre-registered online, but then waited over an hour and a half, only to be sent to the ER for X-rays, which the NP refused to do on-site. The only thing we received was poor patient care.Several people were turned away upon check-in, and other patients’ private info was loudly repeated at the front desk.The moderately full waiting room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while.It was especially nerve wracking when patients walked in and told staff they were exposed to Covid, and no precautions were taken.We will not be returning to this site in the future.

Sent me to collections for a bill that I paid MONTHS ago. Thank goodness I have proof (receipt of payment & my bank statement confirming the charge) because obviously their billing department needs some work. Horrifying experience.

This location was recommended by my insurance for receiving a covid test. I had previously tried to make an appointment for one at another facility and the line was four hours long, despite having scheduled a time.Here I scheduled my appointment the night before and was promptly treated, with little time in the waiting room. The staff was friendly and informative and did their job well. Great experience.

Absolutely heartless, lazy staff that are just trying to get you in & out. After the initial contact with the Nurse, that was extremely brief and everything I mentioned she twisted my words & did not feel as if she was taking my situation with care and professionalism at all, I was left in the room for an additional 15-20 minutes, before she returned to ask why I wasnt satisfied with the treatment I received. My knee is very obviously, very clearly broken and completely unstable, and I was denied an X-Ray. My favorite quote from a Nurse of all time, You came to the wrong place if you think you have something that serious going on. On that remark I got up to walk out, and thats when she blocked the door and told me to sit down and get an X-Ray from them. I refused, and will never be back. Waste of time and money.

We’ve used the urgent care here a few times since moving to the area. It’s always been a pleasant experience. My kids were able to get updated physicals for school pretty quickly. The Covid tests for my son to travel were in and out. Everyone was kind and attentive.

Immediately from the moment I walked in the staff was not friendly or welcoming with one of the front desk workers telling me the walk-in wait time as if it should deter me from staying and waiting. The nurse didn’t listen to a single thing I said to her when I went back, and the physician who saw me was abrasive and combative and had no interest in helping me feel any better.

Zero stars, I have had an ear infection for 2 weeks, no other crazy symptoms, registered online, scheduled an appointment, sat for 45 minutes, finally was seen by a doctor who spent 30 seconds with me, asked 3 questions, looked in my ear, confirmed I had an ear infection, said okay, I am giving you antibiotics, I asked if anything else should be given/ done(for my ear infection), she said okay, steroids too. And bolted out the door… very weird, very cold, would not recommend this place to anyone.

These people know what theyre doing. Theyre pleasant. Got seen pretty quickly. I book ahead.

Super clean, organized and well run. I dropped in for a Covid test this morning and yes, there were a number of people in line for the test outside. At 8 am when the opened, someone came out, asked if anyone had appointments, and then ushered me in since I had an 8:11 am appointment. All the sign up and pre-registration was worth it I had done on-line the night before. I followed all their guidance, filled out all the paperwork in advance and I was rewarded with smooth, prompt service. Again, really well run, smooth and efficient. The nurse practitioner was really nice, very helpful and kind. I saw signs that this location would soon be a regular patient care facility and because of the really nice staff and efficient service, I will likely go back and will tell all my friends about my experience. Thanks!!

Amazing nurses and doctors , I felt soo welcomed, comfortable and a judgement free atmosphere while talking to them about personal issues, was in and out quickly but did not feel rushed! Will deffinately be going there for all of my non emergency needs. Also was so great with getting me in due to the nature of my visit even though I had missed by check in time by 10 min. After waiting in line at the airport for a travel test to Hawaii for over six hours we were given a hint from someone in line to come here! One appointment later and a quick hour we are now traveling with the proper documents!! Thanks so much to that great person in line with us and for urgent care professionals patients with everything.

Came into get a covid test and ended up getting full service check up for my symptoms. All the staff were very friendly and made me feel really relaxed. Went there for a head injury and was greeted by a wonderful person doing check in. Waiting room was clean and comfortable. Waited at best, five minutes to be seen for intake. Typical intake but with a smile. Was seen not long after that by a PA who was thorough and didn’t try to upcharge. Knowledgeable and gave great medical advice. Would highly recommend if you need a caring medical facility for an urgent need.

This place is awesome! It’s easy to make an appointment online. The front office people are friendly. The technicians and the doctors are wonderful! Meanwhile, I called my PCP two days ago and still haven’t heard back from them to even get an appointment!

Very friendly staff. Doctor explained everything clearly regarding our appointment, and we were in and out (including X-rays) in less than an hour.

As broken as the healthcare system seems to be, AFC gets it right: easy online appointments, on-time visits and capable full-service care. I was in and out with X-rays and a diagnosis in less than an hour.

We love AFC Beverly. I prefer them to the medical practice that I used to go to (North Shore Physicians Group - 1 star, do not recommend). Every time I have gone to AFC they have been prompt, attentive, genuinely caring and informative. Unlike most regular GP groups, these practitioners actually make eye-contact, engage with you, address your situation and create an action plan. They also saved my husband’s life when our GP blew him off in an emergency - and he was literally on the verge of a stroke. I’m grateful they’re here and for their work.

I came here because of the good reviews here. However, it was a very bad experience. I got here for a blood test and waited for 2 weeks. Found out they did not label my tubes… the blood draw was aweful as well, wondering if the person has a license at all and any knowledge about blood draw. Anyway, a waste of time and money, especially when you want to know your lab results fast. Don’t come.

This place is really great. I brought my 3 year old in this evening with a dislocated elbow. From the second we walked through the door the staff was kind, professional, and quick. They got us checked in quickly and to the room in no time. The nurse and doctor were amazing with my daughter and they had a room specifically set up for kids. I could tell that they had wiped the room down moments before we walked in, so I wasn’t concerned about her getting sick from being there. The care was top notch.I can honestly say that it was a pleasant experience, which is not something one imagines being able to say about taking their kid to urgent care.

Brought my son in early this afternoon. The woman at the receptionist desk was very pleasant. My son was seen quickly. The staff were very kind. The NP was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable. They were very thorough. I left there feeling that my son was well cared for. These reviews do help because I decided to bring my son to the Beverly site rather than the Danvers site based on reviews!

Great experience for COVID testing. Staff are all friendly, facility is clean, and you wait in your car until you’re called in rather than waiting in line or in a crowded waiting area. Provider was knowledgeable and patient. Quality of care was top-notch. Thank you for everything you do!

Nice facility and very professional staff. Online registration for Covid-19 testing was straightforward, and testing in the clinic was quick and easy (swabbing was very gentle as well). Cost for a rapid PCR was $199, which is pretty standard for the area. Be aware that they arent able to email results, so you will have to wait or come back to get the printed results. Excellent experience; I highly recommend.

Fast and convenient. Registered for a Covid test on their website, filled out all the paperwork online and uploaded pics of ID and Insurance card. Checked in at assigned time, then waited in my car and was called to come in. All staff was extremely friendly and professional. Highly recommend!!

The doctors are really nice and thorough. The techs are inexperienced and need to work on bedside manner with children. Parents needs to advocate.

Went for a Covid test for my teenage son. They were very thorough and the facility was very clean. Tom the PA checked him out and gave us great medical info. The MA was great and explained to my son what she was going to do. The front desk was super friendly. I highly recommend AFC Beverly!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Doctor was patient explaining the splint to my son, nice guy. But we waited a long time at every turn. That said, my husband took our daughter recently and they barely waited at all. I would certainly go again if/when we need future urgent care.

I have had a couple tests done by the staff at AFC. I’ve been able to sign up online. If you are exposed to the virus or show symptoms you just wait in your car until they call you. The wait times may take longer than expected but with the amount of tests being administered, it’s understandable. Rapid test results are complete within 20 minutes. Efficient and respectful. Thank you for all the work you all do.

I recently used AFC Urgent Care in Beverly MA and had a most pleasant experience. The staff and the nurses were very professional and friendly, especially for the crack of dawn on a Saturday morning.I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of medical treatment or diagnosis and dont want to wait 4 hours in a hospital emergency room being treated like a leper.

This is the second time Ive been to AFC Urgent Care in Beverly and both times were excellent experiences. The speed with which I was in and out the door was terrific! The staff are all friendly, professional and efficient. I would recommend it to anyone if they are unable to see their own physician for some reason or dont currently have one.

I found AFC when the 60 second clinic at another pharmacy was closed. With a busy work and home life I did not have time to schedule a doctors appointment and needed to be seen right away. I was a little hesitant to try a new place at first but the desk staff, the MA, lab tech and doctor were all kind, laid back, professional but also made you feel welcome. They related to what I needed to be seen for. It is very modern, clean and comfortable. I was in and out within a half hour. I was an excellent, pleasant experience that fit right into my schedule. I would highly recommend this Urgent Care for anyone local to the area. Thank you to all those who helped me!

Easy to make appointment online and check-in was smooth as well. I was seen within 10 minutes of scheduled appointment time. Proper Covid precautions being taken at clinic. Nurse who administered my flu shot was very nice and took time to answer my questions. Would definitely come back here if needed.

One has to be very patient while waiting for the Covid-19 test.The staff are doing the best they can to get everybody in for a test that needs one. AFC has been my go-to facility for COVID testing and it’s always an efficient and easy process. You can register online and fill out all the paperwork quickly. The facility is clean and staff friendly, especially the medical assistants. The screening is thorough and seeing an MD for questions/follow-up is reassuring. I’ve also been here for non-related covid concerns and always have a good experience and helpful appointments.

Very good experience. Had a few cold like symptoms and wanted to be sure Covid -free but they were the only place I could get an appointment. Showed up on time to find a small group waiting outside, who had appts also but werent being allowed in yet to register arrival. Once inside, 20 min later, everyone was polite and professional. I felt they did a thorough exam and I got my results 10 min later.

Very friendly, professional and efficient. We were able to get appointments right away and were treated very kindly throughout by all staff members. We were in and out in no time. Our first visit and we would definitely return.

One of the best urgent care experiences ever, seriously! Promptly taken in, quickly seen by the doctor who had a fantastic bedside manner, given immediate treatment for bronchitis including a breathing treatment and in-house chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia. At all stages my blood oxygen level was checked to make sure I was improving. Very little waiting, excellent communication through the whole process, and incredible professionalism by the entire staff! I can’t recommend AFC Urgent Care enough!

Excellent! This is my second time at this facility in a week. At both visits I went in without an appointment, was seen within 15 minutes of my arrival. The facility is very clean, and all the employees were polite and friendly. This is so convenient to the highway, pharmacies. I highly recommend it, if you need urgent care, and your doctors office is closed.

Both my sons and husband needed to be seen at different times for different reasons and I would like to share that not only was scheduling super easy but the care, attention and treatment to and for my loved ones was exceptional. Having to send my young adult sons whom suffer with severe social anxieties to their facility without me was nerve wracking, to say the least, but BOTH my sons were treated with respect and the care they needed and deserved. More importantly, they came home with great reviews of their encounters from the front staff to the medical team and for me, that is HUGE. All 3 of my men say they would return to them, and have, with no concerns. Thank you to the Beverly Urgent Care team, thank you so very much. Even my husband, who does not speak much English and does NOT like going to Drs, nevermind alone, was relieved to find a team that actually cared about his health, they even called me at home to go over his history as to be sure they provided him with what would work best for his ailment. The first nurse (had some pretty tattoos) was the nicest lady ever, very kind, well spoken and patient with me. The second nurse (with red nails) after the doctor, was beyond rude, judgemental and unhappy. I would return for the first nurse but definitely not because of the second.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The office was clean and organized. I made my appointment online, which was very easy. I filled out my info online ahead of my appointment and I was in and out without having to fill out anything there. I was seen on time and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend them.

I needed x-rays of my foot and the Swampscott site did not have a tech that day. I was sent to the Beverly site and was greeted promptly. I was seen by Dr. Guidemond who examined me and ordered x-rays. He explained everything and answered my questions. The entire visit took less than 90 minutes and I am very pleased with the service. Special thanks to Alicia (?) who gave me crutches and walked me out to my car.

They are always efficient and professional. Twice, I avoided the ER with my family and it saves so much time! The x-ray machine onsite made it my choice for my two active boys because minute clinic wasnt able to do much for us. Their systems are easy to use.

Went today to have a small laceration stitched up. Waited only 5 minutes to be seen! I appreciated that there were masks and hand sanitizer in every room I entered. The doctor who took care of me was so friendly and personable and most importantly did an excellent job with cleaning the wound and stitching it. I highly recommend this place - especially if you are trying to avoid the crazy wait times when you go to the ER!

I was very pleased to walk into a very warm and welcoming environment, and above all excellent care and service! It is very blatant AFC/all employees are passionate about people, and what they do. I did not wait long, and I was kept in the loop and in communications through and through. They are straightforward, and very sincere. I highly recommend AFC to anyone ! I hope to not be injured or have to go back (!), however I was so pleased with my experience I asked them if they offer well visits and/or PC care. They are only an urgent and sick care/visit facility . Extremely clean, immaculate environment!!! 5 stars without question!

I went there for a COVID test. Had an appointment in the afternoon and was seen 1 hr and 15 after my appointment time. They were very busy.The place was clean and staff wiped the doors and chairs often. It’s just a weird time to wait inside an office with people with different illnesses some being tested for COVID as well. I wait with a lot if others outside or in my car.Staff were friendly and nice. I like my own doctor but would use them in a pinch.

I tried to book appointments at a couple of Urgent Care facilities closer to my house but they both didnt have xray techs. I was so happy the Beverly one had an appointment available right away, the staff was quick, efficient and knowledgeable and the PA and xray tech were great!

I’ve had a great experience here with every visit (although more frequent than I’d like...) ranging from poison ivy to back spasms! The office is extremely clean and staff is always courteous and friendly. I’m very impressed with their efficiency and knowledge to treat anything! The director even gave me her personal number to reach her, which shows their commitment to their patients. Thank you for all you do!

AFC in Beverly is the BEST! Super knowledgeable staff and they’re always super prompt with the service. Unfortunately, I’ve had to visit them several times for everything from stitches to infected cuts but fortunately, they’re always available to help with top notch care!

I had no idea what to expect from an urgent care facility, but as my PCP office was swamped and my ER co-pay is $500, it was certainly worth investigating!To my most pleasant surprise, everyone at the Urgent Care Beverly was warm, friendly and professional. I received excellent care, and was in and out within an hour. I arrived to wait in line 20 minutes before they opened. I had been up all night in pain and since they say walk ins welcomed all over their building and I’ve never had to make an appointment before, I didn’t think to make one and was ready to wait. The front desk lady came outside and told us she would only be taking 2 people at a time and to try and book an appointment. I did that but the appointment wasn’t till 12 so I thought I would wait as I was the third person in line. I waited outside like she asked and thought she would gesture to come in but she did not. When I finally realized I should go in she asked me very rudely what I was doing and that they are busy and people have places to be and basically that I’m asking for people to cut in front of me. I apologized and then she said do you have an appointment? I said no I tried to make one but it’s not till 12. I had work. She once again so rudely told me she wouldn’t be letting me in then. I get they were super busy but I’ve never had an experience like this at this urgent care, the attitude was not appropriate.

I made an appointment online about a week before for 8:10 a.m. on a Friday. I went in to have a rapid antigen test for upcoming travel. I filled out my paperwork electronically prior to my visit, so all I had to do was check in upon arrival. They sent me a text around 7:50 a.m. to head over. The process was extremely quick. I checked in & was asked to wait in my car until they were ready for me. About 10 mins later, I got called in to be tested, which was done efficiently & discomfort was minimal during the nasal swab. The nurse finished swabbing me & said my results would be ready in 20 mins. I waited in my car & 20 mins later, my results were ready. They printed out my lab results & I was on my way.I would also like to note that I needed specific information included on my lab result sheet & Cathy, the manager at AFC Beverly, was extremely helpful, patient, and really efficient. I’m really grateful for her help & efficiency with what I needed. She was wonderful. Thank you so much again, Cathy!!!!! :-)All in all, I had a great experience & highly recommend this urgent care if you’re looking to be tested as efficiently as possible. Thank you!

Excellent place! Quick, efficient and friendly staff. Not only did they administer the Rapid COVID test, they also took all my vitals and offered a rapid strep throat test! Went online filled out all docs b4 the fact, scheduled a time and received text up dates on when to check in.

They are ok for covid 19 testing. They have the rapid test (15 minutes)& the regular test (2-3 days). If you have any other illness, i would just go to your regular doctor . They were supposed to give me a prescription for an inhaler, because I had shortness of breath,and a cough, but rushed me out of there. I never got a prescription. Then when you try to call them, they never answer the phone. (never) I mean never.answer . I guess I will be calling my primary care doctor for an inhaler Of course they will tell you that they called me multiple times, well of course they did. ........I had Multiple tests., and if you miss their call because they call after 10pm and you are asleep, good luck getting your results! Youll be calling for hours. Did I mention that they never answer their phones ? What a pain in the rear. The owner responded to this review. I ignored him, like they way they ignored me after they got their money. I would never go back there.

Ive been here 4-5 times for a couple covid tests, x-ray for thumb injury, and an infection. Place is really clean and all the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable! Also Ive never spent more than 45 minutes there. I would definitely recommend

Katie, (the receptionist)was useless. My Drs office oncall RN sent me to urgent care on Sunday. Apparently, Katie didnt think it was necessary for me to be seen by a professional. So instead of arguing with stupid I walked out. Ill wait for a real medical facility on Monday morning.

I went in with quite a bit of ear pain. The staff was polite and thorough. Loved the Dr. who saw me as well as the nurses. They all took their time with me - I never felt rushed. The place was very clean and it was a great experience. Thank you!

I went to Urgent care today for the 1st time. There was not a long wait and the place was clean. They even have T.V for kids to watch and tablets for them to play games on, very kid friendly. The Dr I saw was Dr Rohatgi and his nurse Amy Fowler were both very patient and kind. I had a blockage in my ear and they got it out and I feel brand new. All of the staff was very accommodating . I would highly recommend this place and if needed in the future I will return .

Was in a pinch for a travel covid test and the staff at this AFC were very helpful. They offer everything you need to travel in these weird times, and when you need it! I normally use a different urgent care, but I will be returning here just because of the wonderful staff!

I used AFC Urgent Care in Beverly for travel related Covid testing. I was able to set up an appointment time on their easy to use website. They sent me a text message telling me to show up at my requested time. Easy check it at the desk and was brought to the back for the test within minutes. I was in and out of the clinic in less than 10 minutes and that included my husband getting tested too. FYI - They said results would be back in 24-48 hours. Results took 29 hours to get back.

I had to get a COVID PCR test done for work. AFC Urgent Care had excellent staff that were knowledgeable and truly kind and helpful. I would recommend AFC Urgent Care to anyone in the area who needs their services.

Me and my son visited this facility for COVID tests. They were very nice and had us in and out very quickly. Dr Meenan was very sweet and helped my son with another issue he was having all in the same visit! I would highly recommend this Urgent Care facility. They are great!

They were able to get my son in on New Year’s Eve when he had an ear infection. We were fly the next day and no one else would see us. They were great and really helped us out.

Went for a rapid PCR covid test for travel reasons. The website function does getting in line worked well, and the required preregistration process was straightforward. Even with appointments on 20-minute intervals with two companions, they pretty much got us all in at-once.Results came in 30-60 minutes. Cost was $199/person.Staff was friendly and helpful. Had to wait about 30 mins but the nurse who did our flu shots was great. My girls were nervous but are currently discussing how good she was and how nice. Clean office professional staff.

Every one was friendly and caring from check in to seeing the doctor. The dr listened answered questions and had a very caring manner. Even the check in paper work was quick and easy . I hardly had to wait at all in the waiting room.there was even a tv in the patient room. Everything was very streamlined and well run. I have a lot of experience with various conditions and doctors offices and this was one of the best ones I have encountered. I really am very impressed.Sincerely, Carolyn Lynch.

Needed a quick covid test, signed up on line for a time slot was taking in about within 10 minutes of the time I signed up for and got the results in 20 minutes. AFC Urgent Care Beverly was fast, efficient and well run. Highly recommend this place

I need a rapid Covid PCR test for travel. It is extremely hard to find this kind of service locally. Luckily AFC Urgent Care in Beverly provides the test I need. The online booking and registration is very easy and straight forward. I got there 20 minutes before the appointment to check in. After the sample was taken (not as bad as I did previously in hospital), I was told to come back to get the result in 40 minutes. Then I got the result in 40 minutes! $199, not cheap, but reasonable under current circumstances—no waiting in long line, getting result as guaranteed, 5 star!

The service was excellent. Everyone was super nice. We were seen quickly. The wait in the room was a little long for a toddler but they have a tv in the room. I recommend bringing something for your child to do if you bring a little one. The lollipops were a huge distraction and a huge help! I will definitely go back again.

Super disappointed with this location. Arrived there around 3:45 PM to get a same day testing for a family member. The guy ahead of me got a same day appointment without any problem. When it comes my turn the front desk rep tells me that she could not help me. I politely asked if she can write my phone number down and call me in a few regarding if she could make a same day appointment and she agreed to it without making any promise. I kept waiting for over one hour outside waiting for a call either saying to come in or please go home because I cannot help you, but nothing. So I decided to go inside thinking that the rep forgot. Suddenly got told from another rep covering the previous that the rep left a while ago. The new rep had no idea that I was outside at all. The other rep said straight forward that I was not going to be helped the same day. It would have been nice if the first rep would call me and let me know ahead of time instead of having me wait outside for hours. We went to CareWell Urgent Care and got helped right away. Do not waste your time with this location.Response to the owner. I did the registration online and that did not help at all. It was surprising to me that the patient that was on front of me was able to get a walk-in appointment without even having an online registration and I was not. I understand that the rep did not promise me to get an appointment that same day, but all I expected from her was 1- To be kind enough to explain to the next rep that was covering that I was waiting outside and give my phone number to her. The rep that was covering had no clue I was waiting outside for over one hour. 2- If she did not want to pass my phone number to the rep that was covering. At least to be kind enough and call me, saying that she was leaving and no appointment could be scheduled. I appreciate my time and other people time, so I do wait for the same thing in return. CareWell Urgent last night was way busier than you guys, but they were way more polite and humble. They went beyond and above to get us a same day appointment and they did. Your website says: ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO GUARANTEE SAME DAY SPACE. On your new response you do question why I did register. Please find attached a screenshot from your website. It will help you on your future replies. How was your stuff avoiding “giant crowds” when every single person that was checking in was asked to stay in the car? That includes me as well. The problem are not the policies, but the stuff that decides who can walk in and who cannot.

You had to wait 35 minutes past your allotted time slot for a COVID test. The results were superquick and got them the next day within 12 hours. Great for fast results, but you have to wait a considerable amount of time for it.

I went to AFC urgent care for a Covid test, I’d been feeling terrible for a fews days. I set up an appointment online and got in, in about 10 minutes after check in. The nurses were awesome. They were quick, thorough and got me both Covid and Strep results before I left. I would highly recommend, and definitely make an appointment beforehand.

I was impressed at the friendliness of the staff and was extremely impressed with the PA we saw. She was knowledgeable, and spoke to me as if I were a competent human being. Not only that but she seemed to have a passion for her job. Great work you guys! It’s far too often I see people in healthcare impatient, short with clients and a little gruff around the edges—this was a very refreshing change of pace and we were seen in a very reasonable amount of time.

After feeling unwell for 5 days I visited Urgent Care Beverly today. From the employee at the front desk to the nurse checking my vitals to the doctor that saw me I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism and exemplary level of care I received while I was there. It is a real plus that we have this facility here in Beverly.

I walk in and overhear them telling the lady in front of me they are an hour behind. It gets to be my turn to check in, they immediately ask if I have insurance before they even ask my name or why Im there. I dont have insurance. They then ask if Im sick. I tell them I dont know, Im experiencing some weird symptoms. Thats why Im here. The receptionist asks whats wrong with me and Im hesitant to tell her in the middle of the lobby. She then shoves a pen and paper at me so I can write it down because its obvious I dont want to discuss it in front of people that arent the doctor. I tell her Im not sure whats wrong with me, it might be related to my blood pressure. She starts telling me they dont take blood pressure there? Youre a medical facility but you dont have blood pressure cuffs... ok lol. Thats besides the point, I dont even know if thats whats actually wrong with me. Again, thats why I was there. They then completely dismiss me, basically tell me its not worth seeing me, and tell me to go to CVS to buy a blood pressure cuff.Pretty sure they were just trying to get rid of me because they were an hour behind and I didnt have insurance.

Dr. Jill was the best! Had an earwax issue many years ago and had it taken care of at uconn medical. Nightmare experience. Same exact process today done by Dr.Jill and it was borderline a good time!

I don’t know what I’d do WITHOUT the ability to be able to visit this amazing facility!!! Easy early online appointment and was able to get my sick girl in & seen asap!!! Thank you to ALL the staff!!! Forever grateful!!!

Easy to make appointments and nice staff! I have been there quite a few times now and I always feel like the doctors listen and answer my questions thoroughly.

Urgent care is a place where you go when you do not need emergency care , but similar care to your primary physician and maybe labs or x-ray in addition. However NOT for life saving care. That being said , AFC Urgent care has excellent care . It is the one where I bring my family to , and recommend all of my friends to also . They have very limited wait times. They listen to you, your concerns , & your symptoms . And they perform very thorough exams , and give excellent explanations of their diagnosis. I have to drive approximately 15 minutes for this particular Urgent care , bypassing others on the way & I do so because its well worth it.

So great! I was seen very quickly (on a Sunday). The staff were attentive and really, really kind! 10 stars!!

Got my COVID test today. They were super quick - I was in and out (with my results) in about a half hour. I was able to make my appointment and register online so the whole process was extremely painless. Totally recommend if you need to get a test!

Writing from my husbands computer - I wanted to thank physicians assistant Nicholas Faucher for his above and beyond assistance yesterday. I went to the clinic late in the afternoon (Easter Sunday) hoping to get help. I had found a tick imbedded in my scalp and needed a dose of doxycycline to protect me from getting infected with Lyme disease. Mr. Faucher overheard me talking to the administrators at the front desk and offered to see me. He then examined the bite and provided me a prescription for doxycycline. I am hugely grateful for the care and attention Mr. Faucher provided me. He is an excellent physicians assistant and representative for American Family Care.

My daughter clearly had strep throat but they wouldn’t take her because it was 7:45 although they say they are open until 8:00. It’s a quick and simple test. Now I’m spending the entire night in the emergency room waiting to be seen.

This office might as well be my family drs office given how frequently we go there and the range of things we’ve been there for, from breaks to stitches to sicknesses etc. It’s so reliable and the people are kind.

My son and I were just at urgent care for flu symptoms. The level of attention and kindness by everyone we encountered was exemplary. I had a painful experience in the past with the flu swab, and the woman who tested me erased that horrible memory from my mind. They were thorough, pleasant and professional, a much better experience than I’ve ever had at the cvs minute clinic!

It was my first time there, they were very professional and kind. The nurse was very nice and was very helpful, then the NP came in and he was great very understanding about my pain and new exactly what to do. Also there was no waiting and they were fast but took their time.

AFC lied in their response to my review! I called their heinous office to ask what insurance they accept and the rude woman REFUSED TO TELL ME and said I had to go in for treatment and only then would they disclose if they accepted my insurance and there is not a complete list on their website as they lied in their reply.

Very thorough medical assistant (MA) and Physician Assistant (PA). PA was clearly knowledgeable in my illness. Made me comfortable throughout.
