Lakewood Ranch Acupuncture and Wellness

I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis since October. I have been to the podiatrist, had the cortisone injection, changed my shoes, bought the orthotics and nothing seemed to help. I decided to try acupuncture and am so happy that I found Lakewood Ranch Acupuncture. Dr. Amanda is absolutely fabulous and in just 4 sessions I can honestly say that my foot is about 90% better and being on my feet all the time that is a huge improvement in my books. I highly recommend Dr. Amanda and Lakewood Ranch Acupuncture.

I started seeing Dr. Courtney Spafford for acupuncture to help with infertility during IVF treatment about 3 years ago. There are not enough great things I can say about her! I truly believe that she is one of the reasons why I have a toddler and I am currently pregnant with my second! I believe that there are no coincidences and my experience with her and acupuncture proves it. Every time I did IVF treatment and did not get acupuncture with Dr. Spafford, the IVF treatment failed and every time I had her help, well, it worked! I still have one more frozen embryo left and when the time comes, I will come back to see her. In addition, conversations with her are so easy that you have no option but to stay positive and that is huge when going through infertility treatments, our conversations always made me feel better and it really shows how much she cares for her patients. More than lucky I feel blessed and thankful to have found her. For anyone going through infertility treatments, she is the one for you!

EXCELLENT! I am an Emergency Medicine Physician and had a very strange bilateral upper back nerve pain unexplained by MRI and traditional western medicine. I sought Acupuncture and Cupping and Dr Carter made it 90% better it in 3 visits! The facility is clean and professional and everything i experienced was great. I first came here well over a year ago with a history of migraines that had never left me despite years of well meaning doctors using western medicine. My headaches have been minimized to the point where I can once again live an active lifestyle thanks to the help of Dr. Carter and her staff. She’s absolutely fantastic, thorough and made a point to understand my concerns/needs. She seeks to educate and always offers alternatives to methods I have in place. My daughter was suffering with sciatica and Decided to try acupuncture. Within a few visits she felt so much better and now continues to go once a month because it makes her feel so good. Has not had a recurrence of sciatica and she suffered for a while before she tried acupuncture. The staff in this office couldn’t be nicer and I’m glad we found it.

Im beyond happy with Dr. Amanda Carter! I’m so glad that I found her. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Dr Carter is a great Acupuncturist she is very knowledgeable and does an amazing job my wrist got sprain/fractured from a car accident. This place is incredible. What a find! Highly recommend if you have all types of concerns (low back, anxiety, overall health and wellness etc.). Dr Becky Palmer is a miracle worker. I had a low back/glute issue from a sports injury for over a year that she has been able to reduce pain by more than 70-80% including coaching on exercises and stretches for rehab. I’ve been to top sports doctors and physical therapist not one of the them has been able to treat this issue like Dr Becky has. I’m almost finished with treatment (5 -7 sessions) and I’m feeling great. Can’t wait to get back to my active life! So super grateful for LWR Accupuncture and Wellness! They know their stuff!

I used to be afraid of the concept of acupuncture. Then one day I watched someone get a treatment and decided I needed to try it. Not only am I thrilled with the results but I am hooked. The best part about it is it works great as a Maintenance treatment but is also amazing when something hits suddenly. Last week I slept funny and couldn’t turn my head. I have been seeing Dr. Amanda Carter for almost 2 years. When I started looking for something to help my neck and back pain that has been an issue for years and I was literally desperate for some relief. I started with the package for injury and went every week for 7 weeks and then weaned off to a once a month maintenance. I get the acupuncture and cupping session. I have had some herniated discs in my back and a partial tear on my MCL on my right knee. I am over 50 am play hockey, race cars, and surf. After two visits I was back to playing hockey and even racing cars again with almost no pain. I usually only write reviews when I have a negative experience but Dr Palmer was so great that I had to speak up. She was really thorough and she helped me dramatically reduce my neck pain. She even recommended stretches and other therapies for me to do at home in between accupuncture treatments.

I started going to Lakewood Ranch Acupuncture and Wellness about 5 months ago because I wanted to be proactive about treating my carpal tunnel. I work as a social media manager, so I am constantly typing and using my hands. Through my research I found that acupuncture can help with carpal tunnel symptoms so I gave it a shot...with some skepticism. To my surprise, I started feeling improvements in my wrists and fingers after the second or third treatment. I have been going back since. Dr. Amanda is super friendly and informative and always makes sure my experience is comfortable.

Ive been receiving acupuncture treatments here since March 2021. Started for knee pain and carpal tunnel pain on Port and starboard sides. Added seasonal allergies and menopausal hot flushes. Knee pain is improving. Rarely use either wrist brace. have not had a pm hot flush in almost 30 days. Uninterrupted sleep is wonderful. Staff is courteous and professional. Treatment rooms including the head pillow super comfy. Punctual, accommodating, and customer service oriented. Magnolia Clear Sinus herbal product works for my allergies without the drowsiness. Dr. Fuller is great and has been practicing for I believe over 14 years. I came in for pain in my gut/bloating and after one session, I saw massive improvement. Dani and the rest of the staff I have met are also very kind and courteous.The atmosphere is also relaxing. Music and scent.

I am a 33 year old female who wasn’t looking for anything particular when I first arrived at the doors of this Acupunture office. I had heard of acupuncture several times for stress relief among other benefits, so I figured I would give it a try. Dr. Carter was so welcoming and such a joy to speak with. The office is ran so efficient. I receive a text message reminding of my appt the day before. I never have to wait when I arrive, they always take me right back and get me started. The office is so inviting with a lovely fountain with trickling water and essential oils diffusing. This alone will calm a stressed person.My first appointment was full of treatments for stress reduction, low energy, low back pain and shoulder pain. I also received cupping and a B-12 injection. I return every two weeks now ! I love how It makes me feel.Since I’ve been getting regular treatments I don’t experience many highs and lows with stress anymore my energy is great and my back pain is non existent.

I have been treated by Dr Roensch for colds, sinus congestion and headaches. I have always been intrigued by Acupuncture but now I love it. To have the results of Being Able To Breath when all medication left me unable, is just one of the signs that Acupuncture works. I have been going to acupuncture for the past few years with Dr. Carter. It is an amazing experience, as it is so relaxing and healing. I originally went for my ankle injury from running which was healed pretty quickly. If you have any stress or anxiety then you are going to love it. Im a teacher and Ive had plantar faciitis for the past 4 years. Ive tried anti-inflammatory meds., shots, inserts, physical therapy, massage, stretching, and chiropractic care. Nothing gave me complete relief. Dr. Dean treated me with acupuncture, cupping and massage and I am finally better, with no side effects! He is always professional and listens to all of my needs. I have suffered foot pain for most of my life. I have high arches and stretched tendons in my feet coupled with a mild birth defect that has made long walks and standing all day difficult to say the least. Then I decided to try some focused acupuncture on my feet. 5-6 weeks in I cant even begin to tell you what a difference it has made in my day to day ability to walk comfortably. Dr. Adrianne Smith has been a blessing. Her knowledge of Eastern medicine and ability to target the pain areas are beyond amazing. Until I began these treatments, my only other option was a surgical procedure where an orthopedic surgeon wanted to break my foot, heal, and toes to cut and reset the ligaments in my feet. I am SO happy to say I rejected that option and went with the now proven and relaxing option of acupuncture at Lakewood Ranch Acupuncture and Wellness. I even used to wear a brace on my right foot for added support and that has ended. All I do on my end is rest my bad foot on a heating pad a few times a week at her suggestion. Dr. Carter is absolutely THE best! I had tried other acupuncturist in the past with little to no improvement. I decided to give it another try. Im sure glad I did. She really listens and treats you with kindness and the upmost respect. I have went from excruciating pain from Sciatica to often weeks of no pain. I didnt think this was even possible after dealing with it for so many years. I have disc problems and a twisted sacrum that aggravated the sciatic nerve. Three years ago when I first started seeing her, I had chronic migraines even though I was taking a daily prescription and then had to give myself an additional injection when a migraine came on. Although I still take the daily prescription, it is half of the dosage, and I have literally only had 3 migraines in 2 years and that was when the barometric pressure changed rapidly. I came to Dr. Carter about a year ago because I was having trouble staying asleep. I would often wake up around 3 AM and unable to fall back.
