Dr. Sunita Sharan, MD

Dr. Sharan saved my life last year. When other gynecologists wouldn’t believe me that something was wrong, Dr. Sharan did and we figured it out and she also assisted me in finding an excellent surgeon and I have my life back again. She is so sweet and caring and knowledgeable and I am forever grateful for this woman. The new office is a beautiful facility with excellent staff as well.

Dr. Sharan is the very best doctor I have ever seen. She is kind, attentive and to the point. She diagnosed and corrected issues that multiple doctors across the United States had missed for years. While her office seems strange when you arrive (its in an old converted house) it quickly becomes apparent that you are where you need to be. The staff is warm, welcoming and helpful. Dr. Sharan does seem a bit rushed at times, but this is clearly because she is helping so many other women. If I ever needed more information I had no problem talking to her nurses or calling to follow up. I would recommend her to any of my female friends/ family members.

Have followed the practice of Dr.Sharan from Sarasota, to Lakewood Ranch, and now to Bradenton. Dr. Sharan is such a caring doctor who will jump through most hoops to make sure her patients are well taken care of and comfortable. Dr. Sharan has much knowledge on issues like endometriosis, PCOS and many more. Even for a little while when Dr. Sharans office did not accept my insurance company, she worked diligently to make sure I got the careI deserved. I have not been able to find another doctor as wonderful as this women. I highly recommend!

Dr Sharan and Trish are truly a great find in Sarasota. I dont think you could find a more caring, knowledgeable Physician. She takes the time to truly listen so that she can offer the correct diagnosis and treatment. I feel truly blessed to have called her number when I needed to find a gynecologist.

My visit to Dr. Sharan was amazingly pleasant, thorough and professional from start to finish. I was welcomed, listened to carefully and made to feel a part of the process instead of talked down to. I am so grateful that I have found a place that I know has my best health as its goal for me.

Dont judge a book by its cover! The office may not be much to look at but Dr. Sharan is so caring and knowledgeable. She and her staff made me feel more comfortable in the 1st visit than any doctor ever has. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Sharan has worked hard and long with me since I was 14 to help me as best as possible. Trish (her nursing assistant) is easy to contact and always available for anything that may come up. They are like family and I could never ask for anything more!

Seems money hungry. She quickly put in for a vitamin B shot for me without asking if I wanted it first, before I stopped her and told her no, as my insurance likely didnt cover it and I cant afford any non essential procedures. I was also given results over the phone by a office assistant who told me I had a very serious infection...only to be told the next day that no, she made a mistake, it was a different variation of it and wasnt as serious. ?? Really? Maybe the doctor should be reading off the results to patients then instead of office/nursing staff who get it wrong, it was very concerning to hear at first that I had this bad issue. These things left me with a negative feeling about her and her practice for obvious reasons. Shes moved offices at least 4 times by 2022. I wonder why....she moved right before and after I started seeing her. Quickly wrote things off as anxiety too.

Amazing, Dr, woman, spirit! Words can express how in tuned Dr. Sharan is the patient. She treats you like a person not a medical receipt. In two days I referred every friend that I have in the Sarasota area. I trust this woman!

I am new to the area and had to find a Gyn in the area. Dr. Sharan fit me for the next morning and was very nice and passionate about her job. It was like speaking to my mother, thats how comfortable she made me feel.

She is amazing! I have moved two hours away, but have decided to go back to see her after bad experience with the local obgyn. Shes way worth the drive. You cant find a better obgyn anywhere! Extremely competent and knowledgeable. She also cares about her patients very much. You cant ask for a better doctor!

I havent been able to get in contact with this Doctor. Ive called on two separate days and got no answer. The day after my first attempt they called me back and said they had a half day that day, but I had already scheduled with a different doctor. So after canceling with my other doctor today, I called these people back and still no answer again, and its 10:40AM on a Monday..... I will change my review rating once I get an answer and can actually experience the doctor. Just a heads up to anyone needing someone quick.

Dr. Sharan is so kind, knowledgeable and detail oriented. She is respectful and caring. I highly recommend her and her practice.

I dont even give 1star this woman ruined my sex and my life she diagnosed me with physical problems I dont have and with symptoms she said I have and she carved up my insides, never had another period my insides are destroyed the gas put in my body made me SICK have never been able to have sex since 12 years ago I could go on but also she wanted money for donations for Indian woman who were poor my body is ruined I HATE this woman
