Making an appointment for my child was ridiculous! The lady was barely speaking clearly and spoke fast at times and I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. Then she felt the need to speak to others around her while still on the line with me. She seemed distracted as she read to herself outloud what was on her screen, repeating the name of the insurance I told her my son has. She was breathy and sighing and making little noises. I thought she would never finish. Then she asks for the insurance ID number which I did not have on hand so she tells me she cannot complete the appointment scheduling without it. I told her I would call back.I called back and spoke to a different woman and I explained that I attempted to make an appointment but did not have the ID number and that I now have the number on hand. All this for her to look it up and tell me the appointment was made after all. 🙄🤦‍♀️

The security so rude can’t believe this place they really act like it’s the military base kicked me and my son out who’s 2 years old for being 10 minutes late and they had to go for lunch it could’ve happened in a better way but no so rude

Honestly this clinic shouldn’t even be open. The staff at this place are rude, always have an attitude and incompetent. As soon as you walk inside you feel the negative energy! People at the front have an attitude as if you chose their profession. These “doctors” dont have any respect and treat older people like garbage. Ive seen it for myself as well as experienced it. My father was flat out told “YOURE GOING TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK AND BE IN A WHEELCHAIR” by Doctor Rhim. And then when my dad went to go ask him a question about his medication the doctor proceeded yelling and said “WHY ARE YOU HERE DIDNT I SAY GO” literally yelling as if my dad was garbage. This clinic used to be so good back when it was called south Brooklyn. Now its a hot mess. Dont waste your time coming here . They need new staff and new doctors . All the good workers no longer work there. People are leaving this place left and right and making their way to other clinics outside of Red Hook. I suggest you do the same.

The doctors there are pretty decent. My 4 year-old daughters pediatrician is actually pretty good. Its the customer service from the reps at the referral counter working there now are totally unprofessional, especially over the phone. When dealing with individuals who are feeling ill or in need of assistance over the phone, professionalism in manner and tone in very important. The referral representative who was there before, Carmelo Ramos, was always very helpful, professional, and even went beyond the call of duty sometimes, which was so very appreciated. The new staff there now, starting with a referral rep named Frank, all need to be retrained in customer service and customer care or just be removed. The unprofessional manner both in conduct and tone over the phone is totally unacceptable. The management there at the 120 Richards St location in Brooklyn, NY needs to be held accountable and changed as well for allowing their own staff to continually treat their patients over the phone and in person in such a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. My wife and I have had 3 recent upsetting and frustrating situations just trying to get messages through to my daughters pediatrician and trying to get referrals to my insurance the last 2 months with the present staff there now. Something needs to be done over there soon. Reporting each of them to Addabbo management is my next course of action. Totally disgraceful.

The pediatric doctor at this location is amazing, but the older woman that works at the front desk needs training in communicating with patients, and parents. I had an appt today for two of my kids. Left work early to reach there on time only to be told the doctor doesnt work on fridays. Why was I given an appt. Then to make it worse she tells me, and you wont be getting an appt anytime soon.😳 😠

Comically, absurdly bad. Customer service is a joke, physician refuses to follow the instructions of the my insurance company and pharmacy. Face to face meeting w/nursing staff met with Im sorry, going to lunch, nobody here to help, will call you back and then 24 hours later, no way to get back in touch when she didnt call. If I didnt have problems with high blood pressure, and have run out of medication, and the whole process is raising my blood pressure, it would be funny.

This is the first time Ive ever have problem at this clinic, its been over a month and were still waiting for my daughters result, I went in they told me I need appointment to get the result. So I called to make appointment to get my daughters lab results over the phone, The doctor still didnt call me back, I went in yesterday and they told me that the doctor only work 3 days a week and thats fine because I understand that were living in a covid time, so yesterday Ive been waiting for over 35 minutes just to ask a question, and I asked the guy at the front desk and he told me to go upstairs to talk to the lady but shes probably not in the mood to talk, So I went upstairs I called for her she heard me and her desk phone rang and she answered the phone, mind you I was upstairs before the phone rang, she was on the phone for like 30 minutes and Im waiting, waiting, waiting she did not ask me one question so I just left, still waiting for my daughters result from the lab.

I called the office to inquire about missing tests on my son. The receptionist, instead of giving me a fax number started to harp over low staff, me calling the office before the holidays? I asked for her to book an appointment for me to come in then. She refused to listen and HUNG UP!!! Unprofessional and the doctors at this practice should be aware

That is the worst clinic in Queens. I have 16 years that I am going to that clinic located in Guy R. Brewer. Doctor Khan and her assistance are very unprofessional.Specially the assistant is very rude.She even say no matter what you put online the owner cant do nothing to her.All they do there is chatting around while customers are waiting. The only person who help patient there is Ms. Yvette,she knows how to talk to patient and very professional

Place looks different upgraded, name different, handful of workers still there after so many years of being south brooklyn clinic. Its clean and quiet. Change is inevitable.. Im glad that this clinic is still here for the community! No matter what name it has now.

Joseph P. Addabbo scammed me. They suggested that I come in for a annual physical knowing that there is no one to do blood work at the clinic. I lost a sick day if which I only have 3. This will be the last time I come here, thus place is taking advantage of people who live in the projects and are on medacaid. Look at where all these clinics are and you will see that they serve lower income neighborhoods and thats why they get away with scummy business practices. I just got out of the doctors office and he was not kind helpful or understanding and kind of combative. Im short I wasted a sick day to get a physical which I never got.***The Doctors name is Doctor Rhim***The above doctor and the clinic he works for are taking advantage of people on medcaid because of there desperate situation.I never got the physical because there is no one here to take blood. When I got to the doctor he I had to beg the get any help. This is the worst experience Ive had medically by far.Please see attached video.

Well this clinic doesnt have the right equipment to handle pregnant woman all they have is a Doppler and thats it they need a sonogram machine at the clinic in REDHOOK ... The staff is horrible here .. NEED NEW MANAGEMENT AND BETTER STAFF BECAUSE ALL THEY DO IS GIVE OUT BAD INFO

This place is okay, I will add that there needs to be better communication with the staff as Ive been scheduled wrong a few times, and was not told until I called that my pcp was no longer going to be my pcp. They have a pharmacy on site and a phlebotomist which Is great, just again communication is important when making appointments.

Waiting time is horrible to say the least. They schedule appts for times when they know the doctors are going to lunch so its a waiting game. I agree w Rebecca Hornes previous post regarding Dental.I came for a root canal referral back in March its now June and no paperwork has been sent Speaking to anyone in charge is useless.

This place is absolutely horrible. You wait hours and hours for no reason. It Always seem like its only doctor all the damn time! Then you have to explain yourself trillions of times! Dont be sick thinking youre going to be seen immediately! They really need to step up and do better. I was nice by even given a star.

Prepare for long wait times and substandard or super-basic care. I took my ten year old there for a cleaning and check up. For our first appointment, we waited 2 and a half hours. Then we sat for another 20 minutes in the dentists chair waiting for Dr. Milford to finish up with other patients in adjacent rooms.Dr. Milford spent less than 3 minutes actually touching my sons teeth, needless to say, they were not properly cleaned. The exam was cursory, and we were told to come back for follow up. I made several calls and arranged for my son to see the OTHER dentist on duty on Thursdays. On Thursday we were turned away because the center said we were patients of Dr. Milford.

They never, ever, answer the phone. Every visit is a disorganized mess. But once youre seen the medical service is competent. You just have to wade through a lot of confusion and bureaucracy.
