I am so happy with Shady Grove. I have been to a couple different fertility clinics and Shady Grove by far outshines any of them. From the very kind front desk associates to the doctors, the treatment was always pleasant, efficient, and smart. I especially worked a lot with Dr. Mersereau and Wendy, who are both incredible! I only wish I could continue my entire pregnancy care with Shady Grove!

I truly cannot put into words the amount of gratitude I have for Shady Grove Fertility. Every single person I encountered was so positive and pleasant to work with and they all make it such a friendly and welcoming place to be, which helps put you at ease during such a difficult and emotional journey. I worked with Dr. Mersereau and I have never received such wonderful, intentional and dedicated care before. She was always present, always making time for me and making sure I felt heard, comfortable and confident. Nurse Wendy did the same and was always so kind and willing to answer all of my questions no matter how silly. Ellie did my SIS and ultrasounds and she always made me feel so comfortable and spent the time to go through the scans and ultrasounds, which was so appreciated. I cannot recommended Shady Grove Fertility enough and their new facility is just another added perk because it is a wonderful space!

My experience at Shady Grove was amazing. Dr. Mitchel was very kind and I immediately felt she was invested in my journey and truly cares about her patients. Every single employee I interacted with, including the fabulous ladies at the front desk were wonderful. The new facility is beautiful and clean (very calm and tranquil setting). I 100% recommend shady grove fertility!

My experience with the medical staff was very positive. Dr. Mercereau, Ellie (PA), and Wendy (RN) were all kind, personable, and knowledgeable. The front desk was welcoming and answered calls quickly.Unfortunately, our experience with the billing department has soured this experience. We paid deposits for a cycle and for genetic testing. We were unable to get to the stage of genetic testing and have been requesting our money back since 6/28. I’ve been fighting for our deposit to be refunded with both the local branch and centralized billing, spending multiple hours on hold and sending messages.

Highly recommend working with Shady Grove to anyone on their fertility journey. It can be such a long and taxing process but the support and guidance from the staff and Medical professions here helps immensely. Specifically, Dr. Mersereau, Ellie, and Wendy are fantastic partners who really take the time to help their patients through the whole process. Great experiences with all other staff members as well who do a really good job of making you feel comfortable and heard every step of the way.

We are so lucky to have been treated by Shady Grove on our fertility journey. All of the staff have been kind, compassionate, caring, and informative. We primarily worked with Dr. Bressler and her nurses and always felt genuinely cared for. We trusted in them and never felt like we were just a number at the clinic. With their knowledge, expertise and individual care, we were lucky to have been success on our first IVF transfer! I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with a growing strong baby girl and am so blessed to have been apart of the family at Shady Grove. I believe they genuinely want to help families grow. They never rushed my questions, concerns and always spent more than enough time during visits, explaining things and following up with messages quickly and efficiently. Ive been to 4 fertility clinics (Atlantic, UNC, Duke, and Shady Grove) in the Triangle area and 1 in the DC area (Columbia). Needless to say, mine is a long, complicated story, but Shady Grove is by far the best, most caring, supportive clinic I could ask for. Dr. Mersereau is an exceptional physician who listened to every concern thoughtfully and thoroughly including my questions about the peer-reviewed literature for my specific medical needs. Super-nurse Wendy was my IVF rock during the good, bad, and downright confusing times throughout 3 years of treatment. I will be forever grateful for the care I received at Shady Grove. The whole environment is a wonderful place for fertility care, including Drs. Bressler, Mitchell, and Ellie!!! The embryologists were fantastic at helping me transport my embryos. The team including Rae and the Briannas always helped me feel comfortable and knew me by name. I had tears in my eyes as I left for care with my OB and there will never be a way to say thank you enough!

If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is honestly a mess and just wants your money. We used Shady Grove in Colorado Springs and loved our experience so incredibly much, it was easy and educational . This experience however was far from amazing. We never felt like patients/humans/parents to them but just dollar signs. They have zero communication and honestly I’ll say it again…. They just want money. Please don’t waste your time, effort, and Vials on this place. They are not worth it. We are still getting billed for things we already paid for (since you have to pay in full before even setting up an appointment), but when we call and ask we get told it’s handled or they aren’t sure why. I am not one to leave bad reviews ever but when it comes to having a family, I would never want someone to go through what my wife and I had to!

We have interacted with multiple infertility clinics in the area, and this was by far our best experience! The providers treated us like humans, werent just after our money, and repeatedly talked us through options even when wed ask the same questions over and over. They were so patience and kind. We had terrible experiences at other places--which ultimately led us to SGF. We definitely wish we could have avoided the other places, but we never felt that way about SGF. No regrets with them!

We are absolutely appreciative of the Shady Grove Fertility team. Dr. Mersereau and Ellie were really great providers and offered continued encouragement and support throughout our journey. We were always greeted with warmth, smiles and hugs by them as well as the support staff. We certainly recommend them, they truly care!

I couldnt say more about our experience with Shady Grove in Raleigh. From the front desk staff, to the nurses, to the PAs and physicians, they cared for me (and my family) in a way that I could never repay them for. Always very available and caring when I was having failures, and celebrating with me in my successes. So grateful for all that theyve done for my family

I have been blessed to be under the care of Dr. Bressler and have Stephanie as my nurse. I recently moved from the SGF in Colorado to SGF Carolinas and was in the middle of working out a game plan for FET #3 when I found out I was pregnant naturally. Dr. B saw me immediately for my ultrasound and saw me consistently for the following few weeks to make sure that this little one was growing well. She has always been incredibly generous, kind and compassionate towards our case and even though I graduated early, we are still fortunate to be under her care when we are ready for Baby #2. I am forever grateful to her and my team. They are absolutely wonderful! The front desk ladies and assistants are also always very kind (shout out to Rae!) and treat you with compassion at every appointment. You are guaranteed to be looked after whenever you visit here.

Shady Grove is a wonderful place to work with in a time when life can feel not so wonderful when you are going through infertility. Through the whole process I felt supported and very educated; everyone on staff from up front to the doctors are beyond lovely. One of the things I am so grateful for is that I always felt the right amount of push to do what we should be doing but never felt pushed to move on to a more advanced treatment method too soon. Two IUI treatments have resulted in the successful pregnancy of my husband and Is first child. Writing this today 11 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I was in the category of unexplained infertility everything looked great for me and my husband on paper but there was just this big question mark on why this was not working. If you are in that category and looking for hope I urge you to at least meet for the consultation with SG Fertility.

Where do I even start when it comes to Shady Grove? We came to Shady Grove because we were following our doctor, Ellie. Shady Grove became our 3rd clinic during our journey to a baby. When I say that this clinic has become a part of our family, it is 100% true. From the front desk ladies, to the lab techs, to the nurses and doctors, everyone at Shady Grove has been fully invested with us on our journey. Every time that we walked into the clinic we were greeted with smiles and well wishes. From the day that we moved our Embryos to Shady Grove, to the day that we walked out as graduates of the clinic (because of our successful IVF attempt) we have felt as though this was where we needed to be. We cried leaving the clinic for the last time, as they became our cheering squad, our sounding board and our safety net. The nurses and doctors continue to be invested in our journey as we often communicate about our current pregnancy. They are willing to answer questions at anytime. I cannot wait to be able to take our baby back to Shady Grove so that they can meet the team that worked tirelessly to help us realize our dream. Dr. Bressler and the team at Shady Grove Fertility are the absolute best! From the moment I walked in, I felt like family! Their genuine care and support along with their efficiency in getting appointments and running on schedule, make them stand out as the best in the area. I wasn’t just a patient in their eyes, they cheered me and my husband on every step of the journey. I was fully prepared for this to be an assembly line medical experience where I’d be rushed in and out. That was not at all the case.All of the staff members at Shady Grove were so warm and kind making all the difference in an already difficult experience. From the case manager to the nurses, every person involved is so genuine, organized and prompt to communicate.As a healthcare professional I definitely appreciated Dr.Bressler’s thoroughness and it was clear that she is an expert in the field. I was blessed to have conceived early in the process so cannot speak to more advanced methods, but I definitely felt that I was in excellent and caring hands.Best of luck to whomever is reading. Sometimes it happens when you least expect it.

We transferred to Shady Grove from another popular clinic in the area, and we are so happy with our decision. From the moment I walked in, I felt like more than just a number. During all the appointments and procedures, I never felt rushed or ignored. I absolutely adore all the doctors and staff - Special shoutout to Wendy, Dr. Mersereau, Dr. Bressler, and Ellie for providing the best level of care. I cannot recommend this clinic enough!

SGF was the third fertility clinic that my husband and I were patients at and by far the best. The care and communication is next level, I knew that I could pick up a phone and talk to one of the incredible nurses at a moments notice. Ellie, Rae, Tee, Wendy, and Drs. Mersereau, Bressler, and Mitchell were welcome, friendly face each visit and cheered us on throughout the process. In less than a year after starting the IVF process, we graduated on to the care of our regular OB after a successful transfer. I’m sad to leave the wonderful folks at SGF, but so thankful and happy that it’s our time.

SGF deserves a 5 stars review because as a result, I am 12 wks pregnant now. Dr. Mersereau is very experienced and was successful in my first IVF cycle, my first embryo transfer ever. She was gentle on all the procedures that I had. She helps me make the right decision and save a lot of money. Ellie is my main communicator. She explains and walks me through every single steps since I didnt know anything about fertility treatment at all. If you are looking for a clinic/doctor to complete your family-building. Check out SFG because they are excellent, affordable, and will make your dream come true. ❤️

My expereince so far has been 5 out of 5! All staff is so friendly and supportive! Tee has been so sweet, personal, and calming everytime Ive recevied blood work and my nurse Wendy is so kind and responsive anytime I have a question or need reassureance. Meeting with Dr. M to dicuss egg freezing was educational and supportive. I went to another clinic in the triangle and left soley because of the staff. When going through something as senstive and stressful as fertility issues we need supportive caring medical professionals on our side! So far this has been my experience at SGF

For all of those struggling, or for those simply curious, SGF is an absolute blessing. We were skeptical at first; we hit roadblocks and felt like it was never going to happen. However, SGF stuck it out with us and kept our spirits high. Ellie, Wendy, Dr. M, and the rest of the front-end staff to the technicians that cheered for us quietly during routine visits, were superb professionals, expressing both love and patient-first practice. We felt extremely lucky to have such a team take care of us, Ellie especially! We would stay with SGF forever if we could! Don’t give up future parents- SGF is a wonderful facility with outstanding standards, options, and above all else, people.

We are so, so grateful for Dr. Bressler and the entire SGF Cary team. In every interaction, we felt like we were in great hands. Dr. Bressler communicated clearly and compassionately with us, going through our options, the specifics of our situation, and what may suit us best as we worked to build our family. Our experience truly felt tailored to meet our specific needs and the specifics of our scenario. Every question we had (and there were many!) was answered transparently, and Dr. Bresslers ability to filter, synthesize, & translate tons of available information into what was truly relevant for us helped us feel confident and calm throughout our time in her care. We cannot recommend Dr. Bressler and SGF Cary highly enough!

This facility is incredible, knowledgeable and welcoming. It was a breath of fresh air compared to some other fertility facilities. Dr. Bressler walked us through all the steps in full detail while remaining positive and realistic. The support the entire team has given us is truly wonderful. Highly recommend.

I wish there were more stars to give to this place and Dr. Bressler. The whole team at Sgf was kind, warm and caring. My only regret is not finding them sooner. And -they turned our 3 year journey into a one month miracle

I was fortunate enough to find my way into SGF after poor care and treatment at another clinic. The fertility journey was harrowing enough, I needed a place where I felt seen, heard, and cared for. Dr. Mersereau, Wendy, and Ellie are the dream team! And the clinic has only added more rockstar doctors, nurses, and staff. These people care about you and your health. I felt so empowered through my process with research-backed options, and recommendations steeped in decades of experience. SGF gave me hope and peace, and I can never thank them enough!

I honestly couldnt recommend this place enough. Dr. B is AMAZING! She called my husband and I when she was on vacation to have a one on one conversation with us. The planning people, financial people and front desk people are all so personable and kind. They will bend over backwards for you!!

I absolutely adore everyone at this clinic! I mostly worked with Dr. Mersereau and Wendy, but every other nurse and staff member that saw me throughout my treatment was amazing. All of my questions and concerns were treated respectfully and with care and kindness. All of my wants, needs, and wishes were addressed and followed. Because of everyone here I have my little one week old miracle and I can’t recommend them enough.

Shady Grove Raleigh/Cary has been amazing! As one of their beginning patients when they opened the clinic, I could tell that the doctors, nurses, and staff would go above and beyond in making sure your fertility journey was pleasant and that they were available when you needed them. They truly seem like a family and care about what they do and their patients. Highly recommend!

Shady Grove Fertility in Raleigh is the best fertility clinic ever! The doctors and nurses are incredibly supportive, responsive, helpful, and think outside the box to help tailor treatment plans to individual patient needs. I have recommended them to many friends and would absolutely go there again for my future care!

A few months ago, my husband and I considered pursuing IVF after discovering the inability to naturally have another child as planned. After lots of research, I landed on SGF. This practice was messy from the very beginning. I had to resend paperwork through the portal several times. The portal would say paperwork submitted meanwhile Id get multiple requests from the office - there was some technical discrepancy that they were unable to resolve. Fast forward to my consultation; staff was not super welcoming and I was seen by the doctor probably an hour later than my appointment was supposed to start. I also found out during this time that they were moving locations soon, which I thought was odd to not mention leading up until that point (it would be much farther away from me). After taking some mandatory classes and much thought, we determined IVF was not something we could financially pursue. It would have been nice to have a face-to-face meeting with the financial counselor at some point - thought it was odd that didnt happen, but at least we were sent estimates. I informed the practice via the portal at some point that we would not be proceeding and two months later, I am still getting messages about my treatment from SGF and EngagedMD, the platform they use for education. In addition to the portal I have communicated with Meghan Bean (New Patient Liaison who helped me get set up initially), Jackie Odom (Office Supervisor), and Karen (EngagedMD Support Team). My initial portal message wasnt even acknowledged by SGF until I reached out to Meghan a week(ish) later. I sincerely and kindly explained why continuing to receive messages was upsetting and problematic - several more times - and staff was apologetic but ultimately did nothing to resolve it. My most recent message two months later was not as nice, as you can imagine. Neither entity would ever take responsibility for the issue. They both blamed the other. Messy. I am tired of seeing their business names pop up in my email so Im reporting them to the FTC for unwanted messages.Steer clear of this place. How they treat patients is unsettling and totally not OK. This process is already incredibly taxing and emotional, and dealing with a business like this is the last thing you need.UPDATE: Interestingly, after publicly sharing my negative experience I receive a $50 bill five months later. Fertility treatments are not covered under my insurance, so I paid for my one and only appointment in full/cash. I contacted them immediately and it was determined that the balance had been added to my account in error, and they removed the charge. Yet another time having to interact with this practice when I thought I was done. Its so absurd - get it together!

I can’t thank the staff at Shady Grove enough for helping my wife and I bring our son into the world. Little Ezra is a proud Shady Grove baby! The care we received was top notch and always responsive from the nurses and doctors to the front desk. We are planning for another transfer as soon as he is old enough. Can’t wait to see the new facility!

I called up Shady Grove on a Friday morning before the 4th of July weekend due to bleeding in the early weeks of my pregnancy. The team was able to see me that day a few hours later for an ultrasound to confirm that everything was looking OK. Thankfully it was, and I was able to go into my long weekend with a sigh of relief.The team at Shady Grove has been extremely supportive and flexible during my pregnancy journey and I am happy to know that I always have them in my corner if needed.

From the first to the last appointment, it was always so comforting and reassuring going through infertility with SGF in Cary. Every member of the staff was rooting for us and wanted to ensure our experience was positive and we got every concern addressed. We struggled with unexplained infertility and the staff at SGF helped us work through it, laying out all the options, until we finally did IVF and had a successful pregnancy from our second transfer. Infertility is so emotional and physically taxing, I really appreciate the care and concern this wonderful group of women provided my husband and I every step of the way!

This place is a mess. They dont call you before changing appointments, they dont communicate what insurance they do and do not take, and if you call with questions you wont get a call back from the nurse. If you struggle to advocate for yourself and push for answers definitely stay away! My appointment was changed the day before, 10 minutes before the office closed, and when I called immediately after getting the notification the lady at the front desk wouldnt change it back. I had to call as soon as they opened the day of my appointment to be told that no one changed it, but I have the portal message from the person that made the change. I got it changed back to my original appointment only to be told when I arrived in the office that they dont accept my insurance. This should have been communicated when I sent my insurance information on my new patient forms BEFORE my consultation. The Dr I had a consult with was lovely (thats the only reason this isnt one star) and Im bummed I wont be working with her, but the rest of the staff I tried to work with were underwhelming. This is already stressful as hell and the stress the last two days have caused are not worth it. I hope they get these issue fixed so future women dont have to deal with all of this.

If you want a place that feels like home every time you walk in the door this is the place for you! After receiving care at three other highly recommended fertility clinics in the area (over two pregnancies) SGF is the absolute best! This is my first time with IVF. My first was a clomid baby. From the front desk staff, to the nurses, the lab, the drs, the embryologist staff, and everyone else I can honestly say everyone is absolutely phenomenal! You won’t find a better place to be than this group! I came from a clinic that barely knew who I was to walking into a breath of fresh air! Fertility is hard enough to go through. If you add in an office that isn’t giving there all it’s a nightmare. This certainly wasn’t the case here. I wasn’t a number. I was a person. My fertility journey was different than any other person and they understood and acknowledged this! I honestly kept thinking this has to get worse. I’ve heard so many people talk about ivf and how hard it is. How just wait for this procedure or this shot. It truly wasn’t bad at all! But I feel like it’s because of the staff they have!!! You can’t even tell they are taking blood. The girls are that good! I can’t say enough about the entire staff at Shady Grove! The doctors know there stuff and are kind and compassionate! Truly everyone feels like family! It’s bittersweet that I will be graduating from there office soon! I look forward to my appointments! I know where to go if we decide to expand our family even more!!!

They do not accept medical insurance even though I was told they do when making my appointment months ago. Months later I received an email stating I’d need to pay out of pocket for my upcoming appointment. I have and pay monthly for insurance, which they knew. Back to square one months later thanks you.

Stood by the closed reception window for a few moments, waited for the receptionist sitting at the desk to acknowledge me and was ignored. I walked out, and accessed my appointment online, I was then asked to provide feedback and pay, I haven’t even been seen yet.
