Ive been with this company for quite some yrs now. There was a time when i Never used their services. But in the last few yrs it was a need to help me succeed further in my everyday living and life long journey. I must admit they have helped me out a great deal in my struggles these past few yrs. Im still kind of embarrassed that at times i would need help from them. But recently my experiences have seemed a bit off. I kind of got the feeling as another viewer said about them using the Latin and Blk community only for monetary gains. Ive noticed with them changing settings/environment, I have yet to see another African American/Latin face in their staffing for a few yrs now. Seems they got rid of them, and the new faces arent so pleasant now. The staff seems ruder than ever before. The elder looking woman at the front desk is very rude and it shows on her face as another commenter said. To be honest the staff here just dont have a pleasant smile or welcoming face anymore. Wish they could bring back a few of the old staff. When I am able to discontinue their services i will do so greatly. It didnt felt as unwelcoming at a time in the past but it seems very cold at P.C.C lately. Finding new friendly & welcoming faces may help.. Idk just an opinion. P.s.s oh and one more thing. If youre trans of Latin or African American Id say shred lightly. & I give a 2 star cause Im still on the fence after nearly 10 yrs+ with them

I will no longer suggest patients to go to this establishment. Its not a very friendly place they use the black/ latino community for profit that all they care about .

Palmetto Community Care has been helping me for the past 3 years and I’ve had nothing but great experiences with them. Nikki has been amazing every time I’ve spoken to her and I’ve had a few different case managers over the years who have always been kind, compassionate and willing to be flexible with my needs. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be able to afford the medicine and treatment I need. I can’t thank them enough for the incredible work they are doing.

I called the clinic to ask some basic questions about tests offered, and the staff member was rude and seemed annoyed by the 2 questions I asked. His tone suggested they couldn’t provide the test I wanted, and that it was only available to “certain demographics.” Not sure how he knew my demographic based on my voice 🤷‍♂️

Angela Hackett is a very unprofessional rude lady.Every time I tried to talk to her it was always some kind of drama. The crazy thing is someone at another agency warned me about her behavior.Everytime I dealt with her she tried to gaslight the whole conversation. You have to give respect to get respect! One time I tried to get my medication from the pharmacy. The pharmacy said that it had to be sent to my case manager, and Angela was refusing it.I asked if there was another way I can get my meds sent somewhere else. I really didnt want to have to deal with her,and they said they couldnt.I called her and explained what the pharmacy said and she tried to act like she did not say that. The pharmacy has no reason to lie.She wouldnt admit it cause her boss Taryn was in the room. She ignored my question and continued talking about signing papers for her to continue to be my case manager.I told her i didnt want to discuss that,I didnt even want to call in and she blew up.She was like youre not going to make me feel like Im below you!Or something like that.I told her I cant make you feel like nothing and thats a personal problem, now are we finished? Her insecurities started showing, she was embarrassed. She throws the rock and hides her hand, and her boss Taryn allows the behavior to continue. She constantly kept telling me Im making her look bad at work,in front of her boss and coworkers. She never took responsibility for anything. I finally decided that I had to cut toxic people out of my space,if I wanted to continue to grow and elevate. I am so glad she is no longer my case manager. She really needs therapy to heal from those issues shes dealing with, trust me therapy does work!

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they always make me feel welcome and safe. Getting tested may be nerve wracking at times, but they make it as painless as possible and offer sound and practical advice. So glad we have a place like this here in our community

Wasn’t really sure about this place considering I never got a call back, they don’t have a clear connection between their testing and getting treatment after, and I didn’t feel a friendly vibe while being there.

When you are looking for a place to have confidential H.I.V. testing along with other S.T.I. testing this if whether y you want to go. A main benefit is if you test positive on any of your tests you are already one step ahead of the game because the staff at P.C.C. can assist in getting treatment and counseling without worrying about where to go next. Best of all the services at P.C C. are all free.
